Several days later, once again, back on the island, Grimlock was doing his darndest to attack and fight Lancex. Lancex blocked that attack, but then something strange happened. Even though Grimlock had been repelled a good distance, he was quickly heading for Lancex again. However, this time, Grimlock tripped over his own stupid feet and ended up landing squarely on top of Lancex. Lancex fell onto his back with the very heavy, very large dinobot on top of him.

As they landed, Grimlock's lips firmly kissed Lancex's lips. It was strange and weird, and yet, in a strange way, it also felt really good. Grimlock broke the kiss, but then kissed the bot again before allowing Lancex to get up. Grimlock would have leant the bot a hand to get up, but in his Dino mode, his arms were too short. Ryu, hiding inside Lacnex's katana, was as curious as he was deeply concerned by this development. He would bide his time… for now.

But Lancex was weirded out by this development and fled the scene using his flash step ability. Grimlock, unable to stop the bot, touched his tough and rough lips as he still could feel the heated kiss on the other bots pliable lips. Grimlock smiled. He didn't quite fully understand what all of this meant, but it felt good and that was all that mattered to the dinobot who stopped off to harass his fellow dinobots.

Meanwhile, having found a place outside of the city, Lancex finally stopped to catch his breath. Well, but really, but he was hoping he was far enough away. The whole scene weirded him out, yet when he touched his lips, he could almost feel the tough lips of the dinobit pressing up against them once again. And as odd as it seemed, it almost felt…nice? Lancex shook his helm. He figured he had to be screwed up in the head to think of the dinobot as any more than a nuisance, but something in his spark felt different about it.

Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Optimus was trying hard to push away thinking about Lancex, but the harder the bot tried, the more the thoughts seemed to come. Bee and the others were starting to worry about their leader. They hoped something would happen soon to redirect the Prime's thoughts. Little did they know that chaos would soon find them.
