The girls found themselves set on their feet and the bags pulled off. Looking around they realized they were in a cave.

"Blessed be." A woman stepped forward and curtsied to them. "Our prayers have been answered. We need your help. Although there are more of you then we expected."

"Excuse me?" Prue asked.

"Forgive me for the manner in which you were brought here, but we had to make sure you were who we had sent for. This doorway would've told us if you were evil." She gestured at the entrance to the cave.

"Huh, where can we get one of those?" Piper asked.

"Alright, wait, uh, who do you think we are?" Prue asked.

"The most powerful good witches of all time, of course." She curtsied again.

"Okay, lucky guess." Phoebe mumbled

"And you are?" Prue asked.

"I am Eva. A midwife, a witch, and a free citizen of the colony of Virginia. These good women are my coven." She gestured to the other woman in the cave. "Come now, we don't have much time."

"Wait, you get to have your coven around you, but you broke our coven up to get us here?!" Cordelia demanded.

"There are more of you?" Eva asked, looking even more surprised.

"My husband." Cordelia told her. "A practitioner witch, an elemental witch, to be precise and trust me, he's not going to be happy that we've been separated."

"I'm sorry, but we really don't have much time." The women handed the girls a dress each. "No one can suspect that you've come to us from the future. Witches must not have to hide in your time. What year are you from?"

"Uh, 2000." Piper answered, as they began to change into the dresses. "What year is it now?"

"1670." Eva answered.

"Uh, alright, so why do you need our help?" Prue asked.

"To save a magical baby who's prophesied to be born tonight."

"Save it from who?" Piper asked.

"A dark practitioner. She kidnapped the baby's mother in the hopes of raising the child evil. If that happens, good magic will never flourish in the new world. You must rescue Charlotte so that you can bring her here and we can deliver her baby within our own protective circle."

"Wait a minute, you have the power to bring us through time but you don't have the power to set her free yourself?" Piper asked.

"Well, we cast spells to prepare your way of course, but we know it was the power of All Hallow's Eve that brought you here. Not us."

"All Hallow's Eve?" Prue asked.

"A witch's most sacred day. The day when the source of all magic can be tapped into. How can you not know about All Hallow's Eve?"

"It isn't what it used to be." Phoebe muttered.

"Xander could give you a whole lecture on what it used to be." Cordelia said. "History is something he knows a lot about and he takes his Magic study very seriously."

"Xander? Is that your husband?" Eva asked.

"Yes." Cordelia nodded as she finished changing.

"Is he the Head of your coven?"

"No, Prue is." She pointed at her oldest sister.

"He does not mind serving under a woman?"

The girls managed to keep straight faces at the wording of the question. "No, Xander doesn't mind Prue being in charge, she was the Head of the coven before we joined." Cordelia answered. "And I'm very certain he's going to be working to find us, we were pulled here without warning and he's always been very insistant that none of us, including himself, fight alone. We're stronger together."

"This is very true." Eva nodded, than returned to her purpose.

"Okay, um, excuse us for a minute, we need to talk." Prue preempted her by moving to a place away from the other women, her sisters following her. "Alright, I think that I have this figured out. I think that "they" sent us here and that's what Leo was trying to tell us."

"Oh, leave it to them to zap first and give instructions never." Piper said sarcastically.

"Alright, but if I'm right, the only way that they are going to let us go home is if we bring that baby back here by midnight." Prue told her. "And we don't know if they'll stop Xander from coming after us."

"Not if they know what's good for them." Cordelia's techno vamp enhanced eyes shown a silvery green, emphasizing her own annoyance over the situation. "He won't stop until he finds a way, he doesn't know how to give up."

"We're going to have to go along with this for now." Prue said. "But if it turns out they're lying, well just because they're human doesn't mean we can't knock them on their asses and find our own way home."

"Alright, we can at least hear them out." Piper agreed.

Turning back toward Eva, Prue asked her if she had a plan to rescue the kidnapped woman.

"Yes." Eva held up a small bottle. "This vial holds a potion which will put the men who guard the house to sleep." She handed it to Piper. "Then you'll use your powers to bring the mother back here."

"Well then, let's go." Prue said.

Eva led them out of the cave. "The kidnapper, Ruth Cobb, she's hosting a party, pretending to mock All Hallow's Eve but I know better. She's really doing it to tap into the powers of dark Magic."

"How strong is she?" Cordelia asked.

"Fairly strong, but if she succeeds, she may be a match for you."

"Oh. Crap."
