Here it is, the twenty-eighth full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released a little early because I am ahead of schedule with my draft and I will still be releasing one at the normal weekly time as well. I am making good progress and keeping well ahead thanks to all the support I am getting on this piece so keep that coming as I do like hearing how you like it. While the real world, and my other active fics, also keep me busy I will still work hard on this and my other works to keep up the chapters and preparing so that y'all can keep enjoying my work. However, that is all the administrative stuff I have for now and there are no questions or guest reviews to address here, though do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all, so I will leave this note here. That means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 28th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.
Chapter 28: Final Gasp of a Zealot
"Are you sure you're good Native?" Adrien asked the hero from his position on the man's shoulder after the pro had hauled him up in a fireman's carry as it was the best way to carry him in the position Adrien was currently in due to being paralyzed by Stain's Quirk. "You are injured."
"It's the least I can do, I am supposed to be the pro here, but I was out of it the longest and from the start while you kids, especially you, did the bulk of the work to take down Stain." Native said with a shake of his head as he made sure that the knife stuck into Adrien's upper chest was not moved even if it meant that the boy was over Native's injured shoulder. "Even the kid in the white armor recovered sooner than me and protected me until I was ready to come and help."
"Well, I guess that means that Stain's blood type is B or AB if I last longer then you did." Adrien said. "Looks like this will be a while for me."
"Sorry, you deserve more for what you did today." Native said. "But this much I can do. Your hero name is Cat Noir, right?"
"Thanks." Adrien said as Ida approached Midoriya and Todoroki as the latter finished binding Stain, blood running down his left arm from the wound there. "And it is, I'm the cool cat of the night."
"Glad to see you still have a sense of humor." Native said with a chuckle. "It will help as a pro."
"Please, let me take him." Ida said to his friends and classmates interrupting any conversation. "I should be the one to drag him out as it was my fault we're all like this."
"With those injures, no." Todoroki said bluntly. "I'm the only one who can use both arms right now, so I'll do it. Stay to the side Ida and be ready, you can still fight and there is at least one Nomu around so we may need you to drive it away should it try to free Stain."
"Ok." Ida said as he thought through all that had happened recently as they began to move out to the street.
They walked to the street in silence as Todoroki dragged the bound and sitting Hero Killer, Ida looked contemplative, and Izuku walked on the other side keeping an eye on his friends while cradling his broken hand as best as possible. Native just carried Agreste to the street which didn't take long and was deserted while the whole area was quiet now showing that whatever the chaos in Hosu was, it had likely ended.
"Alright let's get him to the police right away." Native said as they got to the street. "They'll have the restraints to hold him and transfer him to a high security facility."
"What are you doing here kid!" A new voice yelled and all of them except Adrien as he couldn't looked up to see a short, old, man in a yellow and cream costume clearly pissed while a younger man in a lilac, hooded cape with silver gauntlets on his arms stood next to them staring in surprise at the scene from across the street. "I thought it told you to stay on the bullet train boy!"
"Gran Torino…" Izuku began before his mentor leapt across the street on a jet and kicked him in the face.
"Who are they?" Todoroki asked confused.
"Gran Torino, the hero I'm interning with." Izuku said with a sigh. "And sorry sir, I couldn't stay, I had to help out and well things just happened from there."
"Well at least your alive." Gran Torino said with a huff but glad to see that he was a lot like Toshinori, his old pupil had chosen well. "That's the important thing."
"And the other guy?" Todoroki said as the man walked across the street to Adrien while ignoring the other kids. "That outfit, somehow I feel like I should know it."
Izuku was about to look over when they heard running footsteps and a voice call out that it was around the corner. They all looked to see 5 pros approaching them. One was a tall man with a strange, spring like head. Another wore armor with a red mask. The third was a silver haired, normal looking in a tank top, googles around his forehead in a more utility outfit. A fourth wore a suit of all things with a strange helmet on that covered his whole head. The last was a blonde woman in a green and white costume with a red bandana around her neck.
As they were approaching, no doubt more local pros that Endeavor had found or possible some of his sidekicks, Mage approached Adrien and Native to see what was up and blanched at the sight. Adrien was solid as a board in an unnatural sitting position, unable to move a muscle, with blood coating his right ear, the lower right side of his face and neck from a wound there though oddly the blood wasn't flowing. There was also a folding knife lodged in his upper right peck though it's positioning didn't seem to be more than a flesh wound, though a nasty one at that. Marinette was not going to be happy.
"What happened?" Mage asked Native, a pro he knew on sight but had never met before, in Japanese. "I'm Cat Noir's supervisor so I need to know and take responsibility for his injures."
"The Hero Killer attacked me and then 4 kids in succession came, one for vengeance, the others to help." Native said. "This kid, Cat Noir, he was the real hero of all of us despite being the last one to arrive. He assessed the situation correctly, knew his friends' strengths and weaknesses, and made the right call in the moment even if it meant facing Stain alone. He's got a bright future; you should be proud."
"Is that Mage?" Adrien asked from his position. "Sorry, can't move right now. Stain's Quirk allows him to paralyze a person by ingesting their blood and well he got me at the end of our fight because I was careless, it won't happen again. It's based on blood type and from what we know I should be out a while. Didn't mean for this to happen when I went to help but Deku found the worst possible trouble."
"Well, you're alive and as it is blood based I know just who to call, she could use the exposure here and she'll come as soon as I mention that it is blood based." Mage said. "And I'm not the one you will have to worry about when this is done, I have my own fair share of blame for this as I let you run off alone, though her antics in the Sports Festival might give you some leeway."
"I think going toe to toe with the Hero Killer alone is worse than what happened against Todoroki." Adrien said. "This one was real, not a school sanctioned fight."
"I'll get the full story from you later; I need to make a call." Mage said with a sigh knowing that this was going to be a nightmare to deal with but thankfully he knew a guy who could help even if it would cost him yet another favor. "Thanks for carrying my intern Native."
"I should be thanking him." Native said. "He and the others saved my life. You chose well, um, I don't know you though, sorry."
"Name's Mage, I run the Guardian agency, Tokyo branch." Mage said and Native understood at once who the man was as he'd heard of the Guardian agency before due to its international reputation. "Now excuse me, I must contact a colleague."
As Mage backed up and pulled out a high-tech phone from his pocket to make a call, the 5 heroes reached the others and were shocked at what greeted them. This was not what they'd expected when Endeavor had sent them here to check out the location for him.
"Children?" One of the pros said confused. "What are you doing here?"
"Those injures look bad." The normal one said noting the blood on Ida and Todoroki's arms and the broken hand that Izuku had. "I'll call an ambulance right away. We'll get you patched up, don't worry."
"Wait, is that…" The suited one said in a metallic voice as he noticed who was bound on the ground with them.
"The Hero Killer!" The woman said her eyes wide with fear.
"I'll call the police right away." The spring headed one said. "This has become a priority."
"Good idea but there will be no need for the ambulance right away so prioritize the police." Mage said as he approached the group and Izuku finally got a look at him and his eyes went wide at who it was, he knew the outfit well though he'd have to brush up on the colors used by the international pro heroes who were known as the Guardians to find out who he was. "I have contacted someone who can handle blood well, she is the best in the world when it comes to blood. It's the Hero Killer we need to focus on first."
"And you are?" The normal looking one said raising an eyebrow. "I've never seen you before, but I feel like your look is familiar somehow."
"That's one of the Guardians, right?" Izuku asked excitedly as hero fanboy mode was activated. "You're one of them, aren't you? The Guardians are known for that simple outfit style of jeans, a plain colored shirt and a matching hooded cloak. I can't see your tattoo though, that's the confirmation of a Guardian and as tattoos aren't common in Japan it's not likely to be faked."
"You know your heroes well kid." Mage said knowing exactly who he was talking to but playing his role as he held out his right arm and the gauntlet open to reveal his tattoo, MAGE 18, for all to see before it closed. "Few in Japan know of us outside the hero circles because All Might ensured that we weren't needed but, well, there are reasons why I am now here and why we keep an agency in Tokyo even if it is seldom staffed by someone of my rank."
"So cool." Izuku said his eyes wide as both Todoroki and Ida realized who the man was, well what group he belonged to at least, as they knew of the famous international agency that could act beyond the scope of the UN or other international hero groups. "What are you doing in Japan though? Aren't you lot usually in America and Europe?"
"Usually." Mage said with a nod. "But I am needed here in Japan hence my presence. In time you lot will learn more about me but for now I have a colleague who should be here in a moment, and she needs to tend to Cat Noir. Then she can look at you lot to at least assess your wounds."
"You know Agreste?" Todoroki asked surprised.
"He is my intern, so I do need to look out for him." Mage said and Izuku suddenly had a lot of questions for Agreste as he was so lucky to get an international hero interested in him but then again he was an exchange student from Europe so that would make sense that an international agency would take an interest in him. "However, she should be here about now so we should give her space to work."
Almost on cue there was a flash of white light to Mage's left and a woman appeared, a glowing knife in her right hand that stopped just after she arrived, and she quickly put it away in a sheath across her lower back so that none saw the red and white candy syringe style handle she used. The women herself was dressed like Mage indicating that she was one of the heroes who held the rank of Guardian, she was even wearing sneakers as well, only her shirt was looser and blood red, same with her hooded cloak, and she didn't have gauntlets on.
Instead, the woman had what looked like several vials, needles, syringes, and scalpels strapped to the inside of her cloak, her waist and in harnesses on her thighs. She was also carrying a silver staff like thin in her left hand that was almost as tall as here and strange to boot. Izuku couldn't help but look at it as he tried to deduce what it was.
The bottom of the staff was a spike that no one present wanted the be on the receiving end of while the top part was a caduceus, the symbol of doctors, with a pair of woven snakes, one red and the other white, and a pair of silver wings with a heavy looking ball at the end. If one looked closely, they'd see that the edges of the wings and the snakes were razor sharp and glinted ominously in the street lights.
Then there was her appearance. The woman was average height, slightly over 5 and a half feet tall with a slightly stocky but clearly muscular build to her. Her hair was blondish brown with streaks of red in it and on the tips. The red theme was very present as her nails were painted blood red and looked more like talons as they'd been filed to points. She also wore blood red lipstick that contrasted with her white skin.
However, it was her eyes under the hood that took everyone back as she raised her head to look at them. They were red as expected but not like Bakugo's. No, they were just blood red, sclera and all, and looked like twin seas of blood. To add to her look, it looked like she was weeping blood as she'd painted her face below her eyes with drips of red face paint that ran down her cheeks to her jaw. At least they all hoped that it was paint though it glistened in a way that such makeup didn't.
It was so startling that they almost missed her tattoo, but Izuku knew to look for it to confirm and there on her right forearm was the tattoo that was the final sign of a Guardian. It was strange as it looked like it was expertly cut into her flesh with a scalpel and there was tattooed blood drips from the word and number, but it was clear as day, written in the Latin alphabet. It said SANGUINA 24, her name and rank within the Guardians.
Given her appearance and what had happened, Izuku quickly deduced that her Quirk had to do with blood and could very well be one of the strongest in the world on that front. After all, the requirements to be invited to join the ranks of the Guardians were high from what Izuku knew of them so if this woman was one of them then her power had to be within the top .1% of the world.
In keeping with the slightly sinister theme, she didn't say anything as they looked at her, she just turned and walked straight to Adrien where he was and looked at his face while everyone stared in shock at her sudden arrival. She examined him and while Adrien could tell that she was a Guardian he didn't know anything about her but went with it as she produced a syringe with a needle and stuck it in a vein in his neck that was above his suit to withdraw a vial of his blood that seemed strangely hard to do but she managed it.
She held the vial up to her eyes and looked at it with a contemplative stare for a moment before she capped the syringe and put it away where she'd pulled it from. She then raised a hand to Adrien's bloody cheek and wiped some of it off. Again, she examined the blood now coating her fingers before she surprised everyone when she popped her fingers in her mouth and tasting it. With that done she nodded and stepped back.
"Can you put him on the ground." The woman, Sanguina her name had to be, said in heavily American accented Japanese to Native. "I need some room to work as I will have to remove the knife and touch the wounds directly before I counter the effects of what has been done for him."
"So, you know what is up?" Mage said approaching though he spoke to his colleague in his British accented English, not that all presents couldn't understand it though. "And can you counter it."
"Yes, he has been affected by an intriguing blood-based Quirk." Sanguina replied in American accented English, northeast corner if Adrien had to guess, with a nod. "I look forward to studying his blood more to learn more about this Quirk. That is why I drew it while under the influence of this Quirk. However, I can say for certain that I can counter it."
"So, what does the Quirk do?" Mage asked. "You are the best in the world when it comes to blood, a report from you will be really useful to the cops here."
"Paralyzes the whole body, blood included though not the mouth, eyes or voice box for some reason which is absolutely fascinating." Sanguina said sounding almost giddy at her analysis of the Quirk. "How it works will be well worth studying. Is it a villains?"
"The Hero Killer: Stain's." Mage said nodding towards the bound and apparently still unconscious villain. "Even in America he is known of as it is rare for a serial killer to target heroes, let alone for one to be as successful as he was. He used it on Cat Noir here and likely many others. Apparently he can ingest blood and paralyze his opponent with the duration being dependent on blood type. Explains how he bested so many heroes. No one hero alone could best him unless they were pure range or could protect their skin long enough to knock him out I'd say if all he needs is to ingest is a drop of blood to activate his Quirk."
"Fascinating, guess I'm staying in Japan for a few weeks at least." Sanguina said as Adrien was placed in a sitting position on the ground, resting against the wall. "I'll use the time to do the rounds at as many hospitals as I can, free of charge of course, and get that done before I visit the villain and assess him. A blood-based Quirk may need my expertise to decipher."
"That is likely." Mage said. "Thanks for this, I owe you one."
"Nah, the blood vial is payment enough and to study a blood-based Quirk that was so effective will be a real treat even if it is a villain's Quirk." Sanguina said as she proceeded to rest her staff on the wall before she straddled Adrien's legs and sat down on them to stare into his face with her blood red eyes. "Now shut up Mage, I have to work."
"Um…" Adrien said as Sanguina placed her right hand on his chest and grasped the knife in his left uncomfortable from both the position and her look as he was sure that the marking were in fact blood.
"Sorry for this." Sanguina said in quiet, heavily accented, French to him. "I know about you and Ladybug and how you are a couple now. I honestly don't mean to intrude or make you uncomfortable, but this is the best position to work given how you were paralyzed, and I'll be quick, trust me. Don't worry, the pain will only be brief."
Adrien was confused but then yelped in pain as Sanguina pulled the knife out of his chest and placed it at to the side. The blood didn't flow from the wound though thanks to Stain's Quirk and she placed her left hand over the wound so that her palm was directly on it while placing her right hand over the line on his cheek. She then closed her eyes and connected with his blood.
In all honesty she could do this without this show, but she had to keep up appearances due to their current cover as heroes and as part of her cover she had to make contact with someone's blood to heal it. Still, it was child's play for her to restart his blood and end the paralysis that had taken over Adrien's body. She then, as the blood flowed again, quickly clotted it and used her power to close the wounds on the boy though he'd need a proper healing to avoid scaring on his cheek.
"There, good as new." Sanguina said as she hopped up to her feet and held a hand out to Adrien that was currently covered in his blood. "You can move now Cat Noir and I've closed the wounds. A proper healer will be able to make sure everything is ok and avoid scaring I think, at least on your face, though you are missing a small part of your ear that I can't help with. Not sure about the chest wound though you shouldn't have any damage from it as the blade only hit muscle there. Get to the hospital as soon as possible to make sure. I'll address the wounds of the others as well, but you are fine now."
Adrien was hesitant but he could feel his body move again and took the woman's hand before she hauled him to his feet. It was a strange sensation and he still had slightly wet blood on him, but he could move which was good. Almost as soon as he was up, Deku and Shoto came up to him.
"Good to have you back Agreste." Izuku said as Sanguina retrieved her staff and stood to the side. "That was incredible. Ms. If I may ask, what is your Quirk? You are clearly a Guardian, and I will brush up on your agency more when I can, but I'd like to know more if that is ok?"
"Curious, very well, I will tell you as it is well recorded." Sanguina said recognizing the plain looking boy from a report she'd been given a while back and knowing that he was the one with that power Dominus had mentioned. "My Quirk is called Hemoglobin and basically gives me complete power over blood, and I am not limited to humans, I can control animal blood as well. I can make it, manipulate it, induce it, heal it, whatever and not just mine but others and I don't need it to be out of the body like Vlad Kind does. I am the pinnacle of pure blood Quirks, but I am always fascinated by other blood-based Quirks that are different from mine like the Hero Killer's, so I'll be looking at it. Let me show you more of what I can do as your friend needs some attention."
They turned to see Ida walk up to them and Sanguina backed away to have a few words with Mage as this was clearly personal and had to be done before she set to work. Ida was upset and the blood was still running down his arms, but he ignored it as he stopped and bowed as best he could to Midoriya, Agreste, and Todoroki where they stood. It was a bow of thanks and also to show his shame at his actions.
"You guys were all hurt because of me." Ida said as he was in his position, tears falling down. "I was so angry; I just couldn't see anything else. I lost sight of who I am and what I want to be. I wanted vengeance and acted as a hero shouldn't but all of you came to help me, put your lives on the line despite not needing to and my pleas to let me handle it despite being in no condition to do so, to protect me and native. You were the true heroes today, not me."
"I'm sorry too Ida." Izuku said softly. "You were going through so much too much by yourself and I couldn't tell even though I was your friend."
"Yeah we all make mistakes and you have had the chance to learn and grow from it today." Adrien said. "Few get that chance Ida. Use this to remember how to be a true hero and work towards that."
"Yeah and you're the class rep." Todoroki added not sure what else to say. "Pull yourself together."
"Right." Ida said as he dried his eyes and stood.
"Good now that your moment is over let me have a look at your arm as that really does need addressing." Sanguina said bluntly as she approach and without hesitation, and much to Ida's chagrin, she placed her hands on his wounds, both the puncture in his right shoulder from Stain's boot and the deep, through and through, stab wound in his left shoulder. "Hmm, yes, you especially need to go to the hospital. I can stop the bleeding and mend what I can, but you need a professional to assess the internal damage but now you won't bleed out. The left shoulder will scar though."
"That I can and should live with." Ida said. "Thank you."
Sanguina just nodded as she clotted the blood at the points of the wounds and scabs formed there, she'd make sure to go to Hosu General first to let the doctors there know that she was the one who'd made the initial healings. With that done and leaving a still stunned Ida where he stood, she turned to Todoroki.
"Where were you hit?" Sanguina asked him.
"Just the cheek and my forearm." Todoroki said showing her the two puncture wounds in his arm. "I should be fine."
"Your cheek is a graze; I don't need to worry about that, and your arm is pretty good despite the blood loss." Sanguina said Todoroki's left arm in her hands and placing fingers on the two wounds that were still bleeding slight. "But this will ensure that you don't lose any more blood though the wounds aren't life threatening and I've stimulated your blood to produce more at the right ration so that will help, I did the same with the other two in fact. I can't do anything about broken bones so the plain kid will have to get that done at the hospital and sooner rather than later."
With that, Sanguina moved to past them to where Native stood with a few of the other heroes giving them his story. She didn't really pause with him or say anything to him, and he didn't say anything in return. She just healed his wound and moved on.
"Mage." Sanguina said in English to her comrade. "Keep up the good work here. I'm going to the local hospital and see if I can help out, I am a doctor as well as a hero after all so I can help out there and at several others. I've worked with Recovery Girl before; I'll see where she'd recommend I go as she knows my Quirk well. I'll keep a presence around for a fortnight should you need me before I head back to the states."
"Of course, always a pleasure Sanguina." Mage said as Sanguina proceeded to walk off leaving a lot of slightly confused heroes and kids in her wake.
"Well, that was something." Adrien said breaking the silence as the woman vanished around a corner. "Guess all we can do now is wait until the police come and then get to the hospital."
"Yeah, it's over." Izuku said with a smile. "At last."
Of course, that was the moment that Izuku tempted fate and she decided that it wasn't over. There was a caw from the sky, and they all looked up to see a flying green thing with exposed brains coming down upon them.
"Hit the deck." Gran Torino yelled as the creature approached, blood spraying out of a wound it had near it's strange muzzle thing of a mouth. "There's still one more of those creatures."
However, they weren't fast enough as it grabbed Deku in its talon like feet and took off into the sky, blood splattering the female hero in the face as it did. It was flying so fast that the wind it was kicking up was keeping them in place and it was gaining altitude so fast that soon it would be out of even Gran Torino's reach. It was fleeing from the scene due to its injury and had grabbed Midoriya for some reason.
In the sudden chaos no one saw the Hero Killer as he let a knife hidden in one of his black bracer things fall into his palm so that he could cut the ropes binding his wrists. They only knew that he was free when his long tongue licked the cheek of the female hero and ingested the Nomu's blood thus paralyzing it and causing it to stop flying. As such, it promptly began to fall.
"The word hero has lost all meaning in this society." Stain yelled as he ran after the falling Nomu holding one of only two people he'd met who might become as worthy as All Might, he deserved saving. "It is filled with fakes and criminals who chase their own petty dreams."
With that, Stain broke the ropes around his arms, leapt up and above the falling Nomu and drove the knife deep into its brain to kill it. As he did he grabbed the kid in green to save him and then rode the Nomu to the ground where it hit the pavement hard and skidded several feet before it came to a stop.
"You must all be purged." Stain said quietly after the Nomu had come to a stop and he placed the kid on the ground. "It is for the good of society to do so."
Stain paused to catch his breath. He had a moment; he was free, and he had a great audience. It was time to put these false heroes in their place and get his message out to even more who could spread it for him.
"Everything I do, is to create a stronger society." Stain yelled as he twisted the knife and pulled it out, spittle falling from his lips as he spoke.
All Izuku could do was look in shock and horror at the situation he was in, he was so stunned that he forgot the pain in his broken right hand as he stared at the Hero Killer. Stain had completely lost it. He was fully unhinged at this point as his zealotry took over, but he didn't move from the position that he was in for some reason. As he did this, Endeavor, who had been chasing the Nomu, appeared having caught up with them at last.
"He's got a hostage." One of the heroes said.
"He killed that guy without hesitation." Another said horrified at how easily Stain killed the creature.
"Looks like we got a fight on our hands." The woman said taking a fighting stance. "Get ready."
"What are you all standing around for?" Endeavor asked as he reached them having not seen the extent of the situation he'd run headlong into. "Did you see that villain come by?"
"Is everything ok back there?" One of the heroes asked. "Did you take care of it all."
"Mostly though things got a bit hairy at the end." Endeavor said as he noticed that the Nomu was down and that there was a crouched, shirtless, figure with a red scarf over it. "Is that…?"
"Endeavor." Stain said with a grin as the number 2 hero showed up and Endeavor ignited a fireball in his hand and the damage mask over his face fell off at last.
"Wait Todoroki!" Gran Torino yelled at him. "He has a student with him!"
"You false hero!" Stain yelled standing up and staggering forward a step as the mask hit the ground and everyone recoiled at the scars around his eyes and his mutilated, basically gone, nose he had which completely explained why he wore that mask. "I will make this right."
As Stain spoke there was a huge wave of malevolence that swept off him and everyone present, even seasoned pros like Gran Torino who'd seen All for One in person and Endeavor, froze in fear from the sheer force of Stain's convictions. Even Mage, an immortal being who'd seen and even fought some of the greatest evils in human history, both known and in many cases unknown, felt it as it was unlike anything he'd felt come off a mere mortal before and he too was unable to move or act in this presence.
"These streets must run red with the blood of hypocrites." Stain bellowed as he slowly walked towards the heroes. "Hero, I'll reclaim that word. Come on just try and stop me you fakes. There is only one man who I will let kill me, only he is worthy. All Might is worthy."
Stain took another step forward and the waves of vitriolic hatred and evil coming from him paralyzed everyone present. No one could move as the man ranted at them. They were unable to do anything as he held them in his spell until it was suddenly broken by a clattering sound as the bloody knife in his hand fell from his now limp fingers and hit the pavement.
As that happened, Todoroki fell to his ass on the ground, Ida and the female hero were already sitting having been knocked down by the initial wave of hatred from Stain, and Gran Torino wasn't too far from that point, as they looked at the maniac. He was just standing there staring blankly before him, saliva mixed with blood pouring down his chin but not moving. It was an odd sight, and it took them a moment to recover.
"I think he's out cold." Endeavor said finally breaking the silence.
No one had truly bested the Hero Killer that day. He was the only one who had any fight left in him and his rant and zeal had frozen them to the point that he might have been able to attack them until he passed out standing up.
They would learn later that Adrien's kick in their fight had broken several of Stain's ribs and one of them had punctured his lung. That had been what had stopped him in the end and allowed the cops to arrive and put him in heavy restraints before he was taken off to a villain hospital to be examined under close guard and then to Tartarus prison where he'd be held until his trial and likely execution for his many crimes.
For the rest of them though, it was truly over, and the cops and paramedics arrived to handle the situation, though they didn't take any reports for some reason, and helped out the injured. Native, Adrien, Izuku, Todoroki and Ida were all taken to the hospital to be fixed up while Mage, Gran Torino, and Endeavor went with the cops to sort this mess out with Manual already on his way to join them.
It was over and they could finally recover. There was still a few things to work out once they were fixed up but that would be in the aftermath of what would become known as the Hosu Incident. The threat that had been the Hero Killer had at least been put to rest, but his influence on the criminal underbelly of Japan had only just begun.
Well, there it is, the end of the fight with Stain and only the aftermath in the hospital is left to tell to complete this arc. There really isn't much to say about this chapter as it is pretty straightforward though it does have the first Guardian interactions with U.A. students other than Adrien and Marinette and it won't be the last. However, that is all I have for y'all so I will leave this here. If you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
