Here it is, the thirty-fourth full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released at the right time for the one guaranteed per week. We are now in my slowdown and the next 3 chapters will be released weekly due to that though the timing will be around midnight GMT not EST for the next 3 chapters so it will be earlier than usual I think on those days. Anyway, it's time for Adrien and Marinette to watch the remaining final exams with their friends and support their classmates as they all take on their own finals now that Adrien and Marinette have passed. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no questions or guest reviews to address here, though do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all, I will leave this pre chapter note off here. That means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 34th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 34: Finishing Finals

"Team Sato and Kirishima have been defeated and thud failed the final exam." The announcement said as Adrien and Marinette made their way to the observation room causing them to look at each other in surprise.

"They failed?" Adrien asked shocked.

"Apparently." Marinette said and they both hurried to room to see what the hell had happened and to see if any of their classmates were watching the second final so that they could find out why they failed.

The automatic doors opened, and they entered in time to see the debris of broken concrete on a street on the screen at the far end of the room. Inside the room was Midoriya and Uraraka, a sight of them alone together would normally have Marinette's inner Alya out in full force but she waited a moment to get the news about what happened to their classmates.

"How'd they lose?" Adrien asked. "And that was really quick it seems."

"Each test seems to be aimed at testing something about the pair." Izuku said noticing them and answering Agreste's question first before congratulating them. "With you it was the reported team work you have. With Kirishima and Sato it was endurance. Both have power up Quirks that allow them to break Cementoss's cement walls with ease, but they can't hold their Quirks active for long. Mr. Cementoss doesn't have that limitation if he's in contact with cement it seems. They used their power to soon and fast and were overwhelmed when they overused their Quirks. I think they were supposed to realize this and go for an arena escape rather than combat, but they didn't."

"Kirishima." Adrien said with a sigh and a shake of his head. "This is the exact reason why you lost to me in the Sports Festival. You can't stay hard forever; you need to be smarter about when and how you use your Quirk."

"Yeah that's basically what happened." Izuku said realizing that it was a good comparison as Agreste had used Kirishima's lack of endurance against him to defeat him in the Sports Festival. "Add in that Sato loses cognitive function the more sugar he consumes, and it was bad."

"But you two passed." Ochaco said unable to hold it in anymore and bouncing on her feet as she faced the French pair. "You were amazing out there, both of you. I've never seen such teamwork; it was as if you knew what the other was doing."

"Thanks, two years as partners does allow us to work in sync like that but we do need to branch out and work with others." Marinette said with a smile. "As for the battle, that was still tough. Mage was a top teacher in our first year before he left for here in preparation for a potential transfer, we never expected to face him but, well, there's a reason why we are taught teamwork."

"Yes that was the key to your victory." Izuku said going into full analysis mode as the next final was set up, Tsu and Tokoyami against Ectoplasm in what looked like an indoor mall was still a few moments away. "You two barely communicated and used your strengths and Quirks in tandem to face your opponent. Agreste is stronger in close quarters and knows how to fight with a staff, baton, sword if what you said in that alleyway is correct and can dual wield it seems so he took the fight to Mage while Dupain-Cheng used her Quirk to get what she needed to capture him and from there it was just training and teamwork. Goes to show how good a system like that is."

"Pretty much spot on." Adrien said with a smile at his friend. "And I take it you are here for inspiration and because Bakugo won't plan with you."

"Exactly." Izuku said with a sigh as the next final started and they turned to screen to watch it.

"And let me guess, Aoyama is distracted by a mirror." Marinette said Ochaco who just nodded at that. "He's as vane as a Frenchman. His French blood is very strong."

"Hey." Adrien said.

"Yes well you were a model, you had vanity forced out of you because of your dad." Marinette said giving him a kiss on the cheek as Recovery Girl returned. "Now let's see the next battle. What's the assessment?"

"It's a test of reasoning and level headedness." Izuku said to Marinette. "Tokoyami is, based on my own rankings, the fourth strongest offensively in the class behind Todoroki, you, and Kacchan in that order though Agreste could be his equal. Other than light, Tokoyami can't fight up close, he's a ranged fighter and second in that department to Todoroki. However, with Mr. Ectoplasm's clones he can get in close to Tokoyami."

"Wait I'm second overall?" Marinette asked surprised. "Above Bakugo?"

"Your Quirk tips the scale in a head-to-head with Kacchan and he clearly knows it as much as he'd hate to admit it." Izuku said surprising her. "That's why he calls you by your name, he recognizes you as an equal to him, someone he has to overcome and as such you hold his respect enough to use your name. He's fast but your agility can match that, if it is even close to Agreste's that is and a lot of this is based of his match against Kacchan in the Sports Festival."

"It is." Adrien said. "And better in some ways as she's lighter so nimbler and more acrobatic then I am."

"True." Marinette admitted. "Adrien is stronger and faster, but I make up for it with agility and maneuverability."

"Then yes you can outlast Kacchan enough to get an item to counter his Quirk." Izuku said. "Of course, there are matchups that are very different depending on the person and Quirk but in general you're second to Todoroki in terms of overall offense and that's mainly because he beat you. If you two faced off again after seeing each other in battle head-to-head I'm not sure who'd win. Same for me against Todoroki for that matter and now that I have control of my Quick I'd like to test it against you and Agreste one day."

"Huh well I'm honored, thank you." Marinette said still surprised by Midoriya's assessment. "But sure, both of us will face you in sparring match if you'd want."

"Yeah we will." Adrien said patting Izuku on the back. "You can count on that."

"It's true, you're one of the best here Marinette." Ochaco said to her with a smile as Tsu and Tokoyami made their way through the various clones that Ectoplasm could make, 30 if their information was correct, and towards the exit gate. "And the natural leader for us girls, though we all have a part to play."

"Like Tsu." Marinette said watching the screen closely and getting the conversation back on track for what they were doing here. "She's the most well-rounded person in the class. There are no glaring weaknesses to her abilities and skills that we know but she also has no overall strengths with her Quirk. She's an all arounder and her mental maturity is at a pro's level, that is where her true strength lies."

"Astute young one." Recovery Girl said with a smile as the pair reached the exit to find Ectoplasm's real body there. "Asui is the glue of this pair and probably your whole class. It will be her level head and rational thinking that will determine if this team wins. Tokoyami is good but he relies too much on his Quirk and his strength, which was what cost him against Bakugo in the Sports Festival as he had no way to counter his opponent once Bakugo figured out how to beat him. He needs to use his head more."

As if to prove Recovery Girl's point, Ectoplasm created a massive clone that was a bust of his head that caught the pair and clearly couldn't be dismissed by simply taking damage. As they were about to be caught, Marinette saw a flash of pink shoot from Tsu to Tokoyami and then back before they were immobilized by Ectoplasm though no announcement of failure was given. That was liked due to the fact that Dark Shadow could still fight so they weren't defeated.

"How well do you guys know Tsu's Quirk?" Marinette asked the group. "Like how frog-like is she."

"Pretty much anything a frog can do she can as far as I know." Izuku said with a shrug explaining it as best he could. "She explained it all to me and Mineta at the USJ. It's a really versatile Quirk with more than just leaping, sticking to things, and her tongue, hence why she's such an all arounder."

"Out of curiosity." Marinette said again speaking to the group, taking in what Midoriya had said as Tsu began to retch on screen while Dark Shadow fought with Ectoplasm who was just kicking him away with ease. "I am correct in saying that at least some species of frog can regurgitate their stomachs, right?"

"Yes why?" Adrien asked.

"Just watch." Marinette said as Tsu said something to Tokoyami, and Dark Shadow came back to her. "They've won and it was all because of Tsu's quick thinking and ability to keep a level head when facing the unexpected."

"Huh?" Ochaco asked before Dark Shadow attacked again only to be kicked away by one of Ectoplasm's prosthetic legs that was suddenly cuffed by the team's handcuffs.

"Team Asui and Tokoyami have passed the final." The announcement said with a chime for a pass.

"What just happened?" Izuku asked as the giant clone came down and the debrief happened, and Ochaco left to drag Aoyama to their final against Thirteen so that they could prepare for it.

"I saw a flash of pink and deduced what she'd done, it's what I would have done only not as direct and with my own abilities so I wouldn't have swallowed the cuffs naturally." Marinette said. "Tsu used her tongue to eat the handcuffs before they were caught and then regurgitated her stomach to retrieve them and give them to Dark Shadow when he returned. It was all because she had the forethought for that when they were cornered. On a team she'd make an excellent number 2 for her level headed ness and calmness under pressure. That kinda thing will extend to the whole team as they draw strength from her."

"All correct, well done." Recovery Girl said with another smile at Marinette's battle assessment but then again the old hero knew the truth of the French pair, so it didn't surprise her. "You have a good head on your shoulders young lady."

"Thank you." Marinette said with a slight bow of her head to Recovery Girl as the screen changed to the set up for the next final of Ida and Ojiro against Power Loader and they were in a large, dirt arena thing at the base of a mountain.

"It's obvious what and more importantly who they're testing here." Adrien said softly to Izuku as Marinette looked around to notice that Ochaco had left.

"Yeah, this is about Ida and putting him in a situation where he'd lose if he fought." Izuku said understanding it plain as day. "This is to see if he's learned from Hosu."

Between Power Loader's Quirk, his gear, and the terrain there was no way that either Ida or Ojiro's Quirks would work in this battle. The point of this test was to show an example where running away was the best option for the team and given that Ida being part of it, it was clear what Aizawa was testing. Thankfully Ida had learned his mistake in Hosu and showed that by suddenly having Ojiro leap on his back in a piggy back.

"They look rather stupid." Adrien pointed out. "But it is the best formation for them to take to get to the exit. With the traps Ojiro showed when he flicked that stone with his tail, any pressure will cause a cave in, and they will be captured. Only Ida's speed can get them across it in time and this is only way they can do it together."

That was shown as Ida began to run his engines not at the Recipro level but near. However, as he neared the exit the ground collapsed thanks to Power Loader in a larger trap then the pair expected from the Excavation Hero, and Ida leapt into the air. There was a moment's pause before Ojiro let go and wrapped the end of his tail around Ida's ankle. Ida then went full Recipro and launched Ojiro at the exit with the speed he'd gained.

Power Loader was clearly ready for this and raised his left arm, raising it on his suit at the same time, to grab Ojiro. However, Ojiro just flipped in the air and batted the metal arm away with his tail before going through the exit gate in midair to pass.

"Team Ida and Ojiro have passed the exam." The announcement said as soon as he was clear, and they saw him look back and smile at Ida.

"Wow Ida, you're so cool." Izuku said before the camera panned out to show him buried to the neck in the soil and completely immobile. "Most of the time that is."

"Not bad." Marinette said having realized why Ochaco had left and now giving her own evaluation of the final. "Ida assessed that and fled which was the right thing to do and he ensured Ojiro passed at the cost of himself, well done."

Izuku and Adrien just looked at each other and nodded as they couldn't say anything though Marinette noticed this, and it only furthered her desire to know exactly what happened in Hosu. The boys knew that this was just what the test was going for and Ida had passed. Next up was Yaoyorozu and Todoroki which begged the question.

"What is this one testing?" Izuku asked as the camera moved to the 4th final and showed Yaoyorozu and Todoroki in a residential cityscape. "It has to be big as Mr. Aizawa took this one personally."

"Two things." Adrien said understanding it at once. "And unlike the other ones, Mr. Aizawa won't be guarding the exit, he'll be coming right for them due to his Quirk. This was the pair he personally chose for a reason."

"And that is?" Izuku asked as he couldn't figure it out.

"The first will be to target Todoroki and force him to deal with something he's never dealt with before." Adrien said. "He's the best in the class at combat but only because of his powerful Quirk and he's not exactly the leader type thanks to his, um, sheltered personality but that will change as he comes out of his shell I think. Mr. Aizawa will erase his Quirk and catch him first as Todoroki will sacrifice himself for Yaoyorozu and be too dense to notice the bigger problem that Mr. Aizawa is testing."

"Momo's confidence." Marinette said understanding it at once. "Tokoyami shattered it in the Sports Festival, and she's always had a major weakness in battlefield adjustment and snap decisions. She relies too much on her planning, but no plan survives first contact and when her confidence was damaged she lost it and likely hasn't told Todoroki her plan because of it. Add in that both are recommended students, and he did better than her this year in combat and she'll feel like a failure by comparison."

"But she's not." Izuku said confused. "She's one of the strangest students in the class, it's obvious why she got in on recommendations."

"Part of heroism is mental." Adrien said as the pair ran, Momo making Russian nesting dolls for some reason as they ran. "You can have all the power in the world, but if you lose that mental part then you can't be a good hero."

"Got it in one sonny." Recovery Girl said. "That is what Aizawa is doing in this final, he's testing Yaoyorozu mainly as he can get rid of Todoroki quickly while also showing him how much he relies on his Quirk."

That was seen a second later when the dolls stopped being made and suddenly Todoroki was caught though he did make sure that Momo got away. As he was being tied up Momo was running away and Mr. Aizawa was saying something before scattering metal jacks below Todoroki, so he didn't freeze his way out of the bindings as he'd drop right down onto them.

Momo looked bad as she ran, she was lost, upset and had tears in her eyes. All Marinette could do was worried about her friend as she ran and hope she found her confidence again. It looked unlikely as Mr. Aizawa closed in on her from his ninja running on the rooftops and caught her left wrist with a capture item. That was until she suddenly made something there and got away and backtracked to Todoroki.

"His Quirk wasn't active." Marinette said surprised.

"As strong as Erasure is, it can only work when he activates it and remember that it gives him dry eye if active for too long." Izuku said thinking as Momo made her way back to Todoroki and they began talking. "So, he won't use it unless he has to. Yaoyorozu noticed that and used that to her advantage to break free from his bindings."

"I wonder what they are saying." Marinette mused. "I think Todoroki is giving her a pep talk."

That much became apparent when Mr. Aizawa returned before she could free him, so she tossed some of the dolls she'd stored in her belt. Their homeroom teacher batted them away causing one of the dolls only for it to break in half to reveal a flash bang grenade, the worst thing for his Quirk. With that, Momo freed Todoroki and Marinette smiled. She could see the confidence return to Momo as they ran. Whatever Todoroki had said it had worked and now they were running away as Momo was giving him her plan.

However, the stun grenades didn't last long and soon Mr. Aizawa was back to chasing them. It was clear that Mr. Aizawa was using his Quirk to keep them from attacking him and had his capture scarf going towards them.

Then it all happened in a flash. Mr. Aizawa must have blinked, and Todoroki used that moment to turn and unleashed a massive ice wave to block him from view thus negating their teacher's Quirk. For once that tactic was actually the best one they could use, and it was clearly Momo's given the mistakes Todoroki had made with that tact in the past. She had a plan, and she was making what she needed in that moment and to do so she…

"Eyes boys!" Marinette said leaping in front of Adrien and Midoriya putting her hands in front of their eyes as they closed them instinctively though the pair were respectful and turned away, closing their eyes at the same time.

The reason for that was that Momo had opened the front of her costume to create a large among of metal scarf thing similar to Mr. Aizawa's. The one problem was that she hadn't realized, or knowing her cared, that there was a camera that was pointed right at her chest and Marinette acted just in time to prevent the boys from getting an eyeful of Momo's girls in all they spectacular glory, and Marinette had to admit the girl had a great pair that all the other girls were jealous of. Thankfully Todoroki too was respectful and turned away from it.

"Well done deary but you can release them now." Recovery Girl said with a chuckle. "Though I think I need to have a word with miss Yaoyorozu about her strange attitude towards that kinda thing in public. I know that her costume is right at the limit for exposed skin and that she'd have made it more revealing if she could have but not for the reasons that Midnight did back in the day."

"That might be for the best." Marinette said as she released the guys who were confused and looked back at the screen to see Momo making a catapult and two dummies with cloaks making them all wonder just how much she could make. "Now what is her plan?"

Momo's plan was to distract Aizawa with the dummies before revealing the catapult and herself to Mr. Aizawa. She was grinning as she swiped at the leaver but missed and lunged for it as Todoroki became clear launching the ropes from the catapult. A second later Todoroki hit them with an inferno of flames, and they suddenly hardened and captured a shocked Aizawa where he was in midair. He fell to the ground and Momo cuffed his hands behind his back.

"Team Yaoyorozu and Todoroki have passed the exam." The announcement said.

They were talking but only Recovery Girl could hear it and she smiled at Aizawa's excuse for how he was caught. He was really a big softy at heart. As he was speaking Momo looked on the verge of tears and clapped her hand over her mouth and turned away from her partner. Todoroki was saying something to her, but it was clear he had no clue.

"Is Yaoyorozu sick?" Izuku asked.

"Possibly, she did use a lot of her Quirk." Adrien said. "She has to be near her lipid limit."

"Boys, these three are some of the densest of their kind." Marinette said with a sigh as the door opened and Tsu came in. "Oh, hey Tsu, well done."

"And you Marinette, ribbit." Tsu said joining them. "I see Yaoyorozu, and Todoroki have passed."

"Yes so it's Uraraka and Aoyama next." Izuku said turning to the new arrival. "And well done Asui, that was some good thinking in your match."

"Thank you and call me Tsu." Tsu said.

"Right sorry." Izuku said as the camera changed to the 5th match to show that Uraraka and Aoyama were facing Thirteen in the USJ of all places. "So, what is the purpose of this one."

"Flight." Marinette said simply having quickly deduced what was going on here. "Neither have a Quirk that can match Thirteen's capture ability. Ochaco needs to touch for her power to work and Aoyama can attack from a distance, but only so much before he gets backlash. Plus, I don't think it will work."

"Black Hole can probably break down light or else she wouldn't have named her Quirk that." Adrien said. "No way his works against her. This is about stealth, making it to the end and not being seen."

"Not being seen." Tsu said putting a finger on her chin. "That is the opposite of Aoyama's personality, ribbit."

"Which is why this is their test." Izuku said suddenly getting it. "Aoyama stands out and there will be times when a dangerous villain, who you can't face because you aren't the right hero, so you have to get away without being seen."

"This won't be easy for them." Adrien said and the others nodded as they watched.

What happened next was 25 minutes of Aoyama and Ochaco making their way slowly and circuitously to the exit to avoid Thirteen who was near it but not right in front of it. Most of the time Uraraka was stopping her partner from being seen but they were doing well and almost there when they were found by Thirteen.

They were about to get to the gate when Black Hole got them and they were being pulled in as Thirteen approached them, the pair holding onto a railing for dear life against the suction. During it the pair were talking though they couldn't hear, and Aoyama showed off a feature of his costume they hadn't seen before. It somehow channeled his navel laser through the costume to fire out of the things on his knees thus explaining why he had them. It didn't work but it was cool and a second later his glasses thing were ripped off and he said something.

As they watched Uraraka yelled something and then Aoyama said something and Uraraka turned and stared at him a look of shock on her face. She then went bright red and let go of the railing as she clutched her red face for some reason.

Almost immediately Uraraka began to panic though as she was sucked in and Thirteen turned off her power instinctively. Uraraka used that to suddenly change and punched at Thirteen who dodged it and raised hand as Uraraka kneed her in the chest and took her to the ground landing on top of her. At the same time Aoyama shot off the railing with his laser and grabbed her other arm as Uraraka used what she learned in her internship to cuff Thirteen's left wrist and thus pass.

"Team Uraraka and Aoyama have passed the exam." The announcement said.

"Wow that was amazing of Uraraka to use Thirteen's power against her." Izuku said smiling at his friend's decision making at the end.

"Ribbit." Tsu said confused. "I think Ochaco adapted at the end, but it looked like she let go of the railing by accident."

"Really?" Izuku asked surprised.

"Yes right after Aoyama said something." Tsu said thinking. "Shame we can't hear as I wonder what Aoyama said that was so shocking to her to cause Ochaco to let go of the railing."

Marinette had a big feeling she knew what it was. There was only one thing that could make a girl blush that hard and panic so spectacularly under those situations. Trust someone with French blood to be able to see it. The only way that that happened was when you were finally called out on it and forced to actually think of it. All Marinette had to say was one word in her native tongue to Adrien to get it across so that he understood it.

"Amour." Marinette said quietly to him, and Adrien nodded getting it despite his usual denseness, Uraraka had finally been called out on her growing feelings for Midoriya and she'd reacted as expected.

Just then the door opened, and they turned to see Ida sans helmet and Momo walk in smiling. They'd made their way back and were now watching the rest of the class just as would be expected from the class rep and his deputy.

"I see that Uraraka, and Aoyama have passed." Ida said with a nod as Thirteen debriefed them though Aoyama was too busy winking at a camera to listen it seemed. "As expected."

"And you guys passed." Izuku said smiling back at them.

"It was close, but we managed it." Momo said with a sigh of relief. "I am sorry I missed your finals Marinette, Tsu, Agreste, but I had to prepare for my own one."

"Yes they must have been good." Ida said. "Especially Dupain-Cheng and Agreste's as they were against a Guardian, that would have been worth watching had I not needed to prepare with Ojiro."

"I'll tell you about it afterwards." Adrien said as the camera panned to Field Gamma to show the 7th match, Ashido and Kaminari against the Principal. "Next up is another a good one."

"Yes we rarely get to see someone like Principal Nezu in action." Izuku said as he turned to look at the screen closely. "I wonder how Ashido and Kaminari will handle him."

As they were all speaking, Marinette quietly walked up to Momo and took her arm gently. The taller girl was surprised but let Marinette lead her out of the room while the others were distracted though it was not like she could have stopped Marinette if Marinette wanted to drag her out, the French girl was a lot stronger than Momo was.

"Are you ok?" Marinette asked in French once they were in the corridor and the door had closed behind them, sticking with her native tongue so that they wouldn't be overheard by anyone other than Adrien. "I saw your match; I know the test was about your confidence and what happened at the Sports Festival. I'm sorry I wasn't a better friend to realize that you were struggling after what happened during the final round."

"No Marinette, it's good, I shouldn't have dealt with it alone." Momo replied sticking to French as it was just them, her French significantly better then it had been the first time she'd spoken it to Marinette as she'd now read and memorized how pronunciations were supposed to work. "I lost my confidence when Tokoyami beat me so quickly and it showed me my weakness, but I didn't know how to address it. Todoroki helped in that final, he even invoked Agreste to help out."

"He mentioned Adrien?" Marinette asked surprised.

"All he said was that I'm better than I think, that I'm like Agreste and can lead when I need to and make the right decisions even if I don't think so." Momo said. "It was one of the reasons he voted for me for class rep. It helped a lot."

"I really needed to know what Adrien did in Hosu, I have a feeling he was central there, but he can't say for some reason." Marinette said causing Momo confusion, but she waved it away. "Anyway, I'm glad you're good. I should have helped though."

"It's ok, you had your own impressive run in the festival to focus on and there was no way I was going to distract you from it." Momo said. "You made it to the semis and almost the finals despite the injuries you took from Todoroki. You were an inspiration for all of us, but I will come to you if I need help in future as I should have this time, but I didn't know how to get the help for this issues. You're a natural leader Marinette, the best of the girls here. Jiro isn't wrong on that front and we all draw from your strength when we need it."

"Um, thanks." Marinette said a bit taken aback but glad it worked. "Well, I'll be here for you if you need me but don't sell yourself short, you have the makings of a great leader in your own right, and this showed that you can make and adapt to situations on the fly which is key."

"True but I have a lot to learn." Momo said. "This final really drove that home for me."

"We all do." Marinette said. "Now let's go back and see how Mina and the princess are doing."

"Normally I would chastise such a nickname, but Kaminari earned it with that trick of his and Mineta's, you really defended all of us there when you took him down a peg." Momo said. "So, thank you Marinette, for everything."

"Just doing what a hero and friend would do, as would you." Marinette said turning to go back in but as she did Momo grabbed her arm.

Marinette turned in surprise to see that Momo was crying a bit as she pulled Marinette in for a hug and kissed her on each cheek the French way that Marinette had taught her and which she instinctively responded to. They broke apart and Marinette smiled at her friend as Momo created a handkerchief to dry her eyes.

"Ok let's go." Momo said and they entered the room again.

The four in there hadn't noticed anything as they were watching closely and as the girls approached they could see why. On screen was a scene of utter destruction as Nezu laughed manically from a crane and knocked something with the ball to create a chain reaction using his High Specs Quirk. Recovery Girl was finishing up her story of Nezu's tragic past for the others and how he had a habit of going over the top when he got the chance to do so.

As for Mina and Kaminari, they were in trouble as they kept running from the destruction and trying to find a way through the labyrinth that was Field Gamma. Alas they couldn't. It was clear that they were paired based on grades, and it was to limit their straightforward, action first mentality. They were failing it spectacularly and all the 6 in the room could do was watch as the time ran out and their classmates failed the exam.

"Team Ashido and Kaminari have failed the exam due to the time expiring." The announcement said as they complained from the rubble they were in.

"They must be so frustrated." Izuku said as Kaminari and Ashido pushed themselves out the rubble they were in clearly upset.

"They never even saw their opponent." Momo said amazed. "The Principal was always 2 steps ahead of them the entire time."

"This was to test their battle smarts." Adrien said understanding what the test was about. "The Principal is hyper intelligent thanks to his Quirk so he's the perfect matchup for those two. They're too single minded and battle orientated when they fight. Ashido just focuses on her acid and while she can be mobile she's more about getting to her target to melt it. as for Kaminari, well…"

"He goes into idiot mode far too quickly." Marinette said. "He tried to overwhelm me in our fight in the Sports Festival as I knew he would hence my Lucky Charm was an insulating blanket. Thank you for the idea Momo by the way as I saw what you did at the USJ and that gave me the concept for what I'd need to defeat Kaminari."

"Oh, glad to help." Momo said surprised but then again Marinette had apparently made a drone during that incident and send Agreste to save her, Jiro and Kaminari so it made sense that she'd seen what she'd done.

"Had Kaminari learned some hand-to-hand combat and fought me like that it would have been harder." Marinette continued. "Sure, I'd still have won. I was motivated after that stupid trick and with Lucky Charm he had no chance once I activated it, but he can still shock me with a touch. Bakugo was right about those two the other day and this shows it."

"True, Kacchan does have a good analytical sense." Izuku said as the door opened to show Uraraka standing there having come straight here after he debrief.

"What, Mina's team lost the battle?" Ochaco asked coming into the room and looking at the screen as the others turned to her.

"Yeah, the Principle's game plan was flawless, they just couldn't beat him." Momo said to her friend.

"That's terrible." Ochaco said. "They must be crushed."

"But you passed, congratulations." Ida said smiling at her.

"Thanks, you too Ida." Ochaco said having heard of Ida and Momo's passes as she tried to wrangle some strategy into Aoyama and get him away from the mirror he was in front of.

"Ochaco, what were you talking to Aoyama about right before the end of your match against Thirteen?" Tsu asked bluntly.

"Yes, I'd like to know too." Marinette said with a grin. "Must have been big if it caused you to change your strategy."

"Oh well…" Ochaco began thinking it before remembering that Aoyama had accused her of having a crush on Deku, the very amazing Deku who was now standing close to her and suddenly she went bright red and backed up waving her arms in front of her body. "It's nothing, you've got it all wrong."

"What's the matter with you?" Ida asked confused as Ochaco began blabbering various excuses to them while Adrien and Midoriya just looked at her in utter bewilderment. "You're face is so red."

Both Tsu and Marinette knew that what Ochaco was saying was a lie and something happened there. Tsu didn't know what, but it had to be big while Marinette was now convinced that it was what she thought it was. however, before either could press Ochaco on it there was a horn sound and they all turned to the screen.

"Team Koda and Jiro, practical exam, ready, go." The announcement said that drew them to the image on the screen.

"Looks like it's the woods for Jiro and Koda against Present Mic." Ochaco said as they watched, glad that she was no longer being questioned about her own final.

"And they paired us up against teachers who we'd have a hard time against." Ida said looking at the matchup. "No surprises here."

"None." Izuku said shaking his head. "Both have sound-based Quirks that Present Mic can drown out with his own sound-based Quirk. I wonder how they will manage that."

How they managed it was interesting to say the least. As with almost all the matches so far, the teacher was guarding the exit however unlike the other ones Present Mic didn't need to wait or see his opponents to attack. His Voice Quirk was powerful and could travel across the whole area, so he used it, along with the directional mic around his neck, to target Jiro and Koda from a safe distance.

He easily pinned them down and stopped them from advancing thanks to the loudness of his voice. Jiro's heartbeat distortion couldn't counter Present Mic's voice and the sound scared all the animals away negating Koda's Quirk. At least that's what they thought.

"What is he doing?" Marinette asked confused though she didn't know the silent boy well at all as she watched him run away in fear from something they couldn't see.

"Jiro has a plan, but he doesn't like it." Izuku said thinking on it. "Though I can't see the plan from here."

They just watched as they talked and Jiro reassured Koda about something, her ears bleeding from Present Mic's sound. Koda seemed to hesitate and struggle with something. Then he suddenly lunged towards a broken rock Jiro had broken earlier for some reason and began what looked like yelling at the ground.

"Wait, he can talk?" Adrien asked surprised. "I know Koda is the silent type, but I thought his Quirk didn't need his voice as I'd never heard it."

"Apparently it does." Izuku said as they watch. "Now what…oh that's harsh Koda."

All but Tsu suddenly felt sick as the ground at Present Mic's feet burst open and insects, hundreds and likely thousands of insects of all shapes and sizes, came up from Present Mic's feet and swarmed up his leg. It seemed the hero had a deep fear of creepy crawlies and passed out as they coated his leg and made their way up his waist. Koda had been cold and send all the insects that he could as they hadn't been affected by Mic's voice through the ground were sound doesn't travel well to take him down.

Koda then picked up Jiro like a princess for some reason and easily carried her as he ran out of the exit to win. They didn't both to catch Present Mic who was now out cold on the ground with foam coming out of his mouth for whatever reason and chose escape as their method of passing.

"Team Koda and Jiro have passed the final exam." The announcer said.

"He let a bunch of bugs beat him!" Recovery Girl said shocked. "Oh, he is not hearing the end of this from me."

"That was a good plan, ribbit." Tsu said as the others recovered. "Took both of them though. Solid teamwork there."

"Yeah and now I know not to underestimate Koda." Adrien said. "Bugs, that's a whole new dimension to his power."

"And they're so many everywhere." Marinette said. "Koda's potential really shot up."

The other nodded as the screen changed to what looked like an underground complex, or at least somewhere indoors. It was Hagakure and Shoji's turn as they faced off against Snipe.

"Stealth is why those two are together." Izuku said looking at the screen and thinking. "And they're against Mr. Snipe who's Homing Quirk can counter it so long as he knows where they are. It's clear what this one is doing."

"Yes." Momo said. "It will be tough, and the cover won't help at all against his Quirk."

That was clear quickly as the pair reached the final room where the exit was and several pillars that provided cover but the moment they arrived bullets flew at them, and they dove behind a pillar. The only thing keeping them safe was the range, it was too close for Snipe to change the trajectory of his bullets too much but that wasn't going to help them.

For the next few minutes, the cowboy themed hero had the stealth pair pinned down as they talked. He then upped the ante by tossing a smoke grenade and kept firing showing how good of a shot he was as he shot the pressure points on the pillar they were behind, and it collapsed.

In the chaos they pair appeared to be separated and they were looking at Shoji who seemed to be calling to Hagakure. There was a pause and as they couldn't hear they didn't know what was going on before Shoji suddenly charged Snipe having realized something the observers hadn't.

No one in the observation room were expecting this and Snipe easily froze Shoji with a line of rounds before his feet and Shoji raised his arms in surrender at that. It looked like he was done for until a set of handcuffs came out of nowhere and snapped closed on Snipe's extended right arm thus capturing him.

The students all smiled though for some reason, something happened and suddenly it looked like Snipe was apologizing frantically while tugging away on the cuffs that were tugging in the opposite direction in thin air showing that Hagakure had then on her left wrist as well. That was strange.

"Team Hagakure and Shoji have passed the final exam." The announcement said.

"That's a relief." Momo said with a sigh. "And no one can beat Hagakure when it comes to stealth."

"And Shoji must have seen something to charge Mr. Snipe like that and give Hagakure an opening capture him." Izuku said though the scene before him confused him. "Though I am not sure why our teacher is acting like that."

"If I had to guess." Marinette said having figured out why their teacher was acting like that. "And ladies back me up here, but I am sure that Snipe accidentally brushed a certain part of Toru's body after he got captured, a part that he shouldn't have but didn't notice and couldn't see given her Quirk, so it was definitely an accident."

"That and the fact that she seems to insist on fighting naked except for her boots and gloves, ribbit." Tsu said. "And she took those off to capture him."

"Huh?" Izuku asked while the other boys were just as confused though now all the girls understood.

"Mr. Snipe accidentally brushed Hagakure's left breast with his elbow." Momo said bluntly. "And she's reacting accordingly, if a bit over the top for an accident."

"True though I did try to drown Mineta for his 'accident' in the USJ." Tsu said. "But I am sure that it wasn't an accident because it was Mineta, so he got what he deserved for getting a feel of mine."

The boys just went red as the scene changed to a rocky expanse that was where Mineta and Sero were facing Midnight. This was the 10th battle which meant there was only one more left after this one.

"Midoriya, why are you still here?" Adrien asked. "You're final is next."

"Yes but it's in Ground Beta so nearby and I want to watch all the class give their best." Izuku said not adding that he didn't want to deal with Kacchan until he absolutely had to. "Besides this one is clear, all 3 are excellent at capture. Sero and Mineta are the best two in the class at that, and Miss Midnight's Quirk is one of the best large scale capture Quirks out there. Plus, it works better on men for some reason."

"And there goes Sero." Marinette said as almost instantly Sero was knocked out by Midnight's Quirk and fell down, bouncing off her left breast as he did to nap in her lap as Mineta ran away crying in either fear, jealousy or most likely a mixture of both.

"What is Mineta doing?" Izuku asked as the tears turned to blood. "And why is he crying blood?"

"The second part is jealousy." Marinette said as Tsu, Momo, and Ochaco nodded at that understanding the little perv's actions. "He wants to be where Sero is. The former, well we all know that he's not the bravest out there."

"No, he was like that at the USJ." Tsu said. "I hope he can learn though, he is in the Hero Course, there has to be a reason for it."

That reason, unbeknownst to them, was to get girls. Not the best reason but it was a driving force and for once Mineta was against a hero that he knew well thanks to her pervy side.

They just watched as Mineta seemed to set himself as Midnight stalked him, pink mist around her as it came out of the ripper parts of her costume, a long whip in her hands and an incredibly creepy smile of near orgasmic pleasure on her face that unnerved everyone watching. She closed in on him before he suddenly leapt out from a rock and attacked, sending his balls at her as fast as possible while wearing a piece of Sero's tape he had over his mouth and nose to avoid breathing in his teacher's Quirk.

It was a genius plan for sure and first Midnight and then her whip were caught and stuck fast thanks to Mineta's sticky balls. She couldn't move and Mineta rushed passed her, cleared her mist, and got Sero before dragging him out to pass the exam. It was impressive for sure and unexpected from Mineta.

"Team Mineta and Sero have passed the final exam." The announcer said.

"Right." Izuku said before he steeled himself turned and walked out to his own final.

The others just watched him go nervously unable to say anything to him. Of all the finals this was going to be the hardest. Not only was Aizawa forcing two bitter rivals to work together, rivals with a very broken and unhealthy relationship with each other, but they were going against All Might, the number 1 hero. Add in Midoriya's fanboy attitude and this was not going to be easy.

For once though, no one spoke as they waited for it to start. This was a final that needed no words, just watching it. They would pay attention and see if the last pair could pass the final.

The exam began with the pair walking together down the main street in the center of Ground Beta. It was clear that Midoriya was trying to talk to Bakugo, but the blonde boy wasn't listening to any of it. No one knew what they were talking about, and they were arguing as Bakugo was walking away from Midoriya. Then they all gasped as Midoriya tried to catch up and Bakugo backhanded him in the face with his gauntlet.

"Those two really have no teamwork." Recovery Girl said as they watched. "And they'll need it to pass the challenge ahead."

That challenge came a moment later as they watched All Might punch the air from where he was near the exit and using air pressure alone blast the whole street to the end, destroying buildings and knocking Midoriya and Bakugo off their feet with the blast. It was impressive and scary at the same time and showed just how strong this final was.

All Might stepped out of the smoke talking to them and approaching. The boys continued to show their failure as teammates when Midoriya opted to run but Bakugo held his ground and attacked. He started with a controlled explosion that was a flash of light similar to how he beat Dark Shadow before he leapt at All Might. That might have worked against most, but All Might seemed to be ready and grabbed Bakugo's face in his right hand holding him there at arm's length.

However, to everyone's surprise Bakugo didn't try to pull All Might's hand away. Instead, he unleashed a barrage of close-range explosions from his right hand right into All Might's face and chest that even caught the pro off guard though he didn't move from them and just raised his left arm to grab Bakugo's gauntlet and force the arm away. All Might then proceeded to throw Bakugo into the ground headfirst as they watched.

Suddenly All Might moved and was behind Midoriya showing he hadn't forgotten the other one. He said something but Midoriya powered up and leapt away backwards without looking. It was a bad move as Bakugo had recovered and was blasting forward so they collided in midair. Their teamwork really was terrible, and it would cost them the final if they kept this up.

Both boys hit the ground hard, and Recovery Girl knew that this was not going well. They had different agendas in the fight, no teamwork, and Midoriya's hero worship of All Might was clouding his judgement. This was not good, and it continued to get worse as Bakugo got up and walked past Midoriya, ignoring his words and approaching All Might again.

All Might wasn't a slouch during this period. He had grabbed a fence and leapt with it in his feet to slam into Midoriya's back and pin him to the earth as the concrete had been blown away. The pro was then on Bakugo as he tried to attack and punch him so hard in the gut that he threw up as he was blasted away down the broken street.

The 6 in the room could barely watch this but all had to, and none spoke a work as the final unfolded before their eyes. Of all the battles, this was the worst by far in terms of how the students were doing and the amount of damage they were taking from their teacher, but they couldn't look away or speak as they waited to see how it would play out.

Both boys were on the ground and struggling to get up however to everyone's surprise they slowly began to do so. All Might was closing in on Bakugo as he tried to get up leaving Midoriya where he was, but the observers could see that Midoriya wasn't out of it yet.

All Might was saying something to Bakugo. It was as if he was taunting him, but he seemed to be giving him advice. There was suddenly a pause and it looked like Bakugo had given up, something no one saw coming. It was so distracting that they didn't see Midoriya power up, break free of the improvised restraints, and then punch Bakugo in the face yelling something at him as he saved him from All Might by, well, slugging him away. Midoriya finished his move off by grabbing Bakugo and jumping, or hopping as it seemed, into a nearby alleyway.

Midoriya continued to carry Bakugo deep into the alleyway as All Might stood there surprised and apparently complaining about the weights he had on him. As the boys fled Bakugo seemed to recover and then punched Midoriya in the back to stop him and they collapsed to the ground beaten but not broken in the alleyway finally talking it seemed.

Whatever Midoriya was saying it was getting to Bakugo as he suddenly lunged at him and there was an explosion, but they all saw that it was to the left of Midoriya's head, in the wall and clearly done out of frustration. It seemed that Bakugo was finally saying something and they at last seemed to have a plan as they spoke before he removed one of his gauntlets and gave it to Midoriya. The group just stared in shock at them working together while All Might ran around looking for them, but they were on their teacher first as they brought the fight back to All Might.

Suddenly Bakugo leapt out from an alleyway and got All Might's attention with a blast. All Might turned to him and as he did Midoriya leapt out from behind him with Bakugo's other gauntlet on his right arm. Before All Might could react, Midoriya pulled the pin on the gauntlet and blasted All Might with an explosion more powerful then what Bakugo could manage on his own just as Bakugo had done to him during the battle trials.

The force of the blow actually knocked All Might down and Midoriya was blasted back by the recoil. As he was Bakugo took off for the exit and Midoriya leapt behind him running as fast as he could while powered up.

They were running away as fast as they could while All Might got to his feet. It was certainly strange to see them cooperating so well together, but All Might wasn't done yet as he crouched down. They were talking and almost there when All Might arrived.

The watchers could tell that the plan was for Bakugo to blast him again with a fully gauntlet blast so that they could reach it but that failed almost instantly when All Might broke Bakugo's gauntlet with a punch before breaking the other one on Midoriya's arm just to be safe. As they were staggering, All Might elbowed Bakugo in the face and sent him into the top floor of a nearby building. He then grabbed Midoriya's wrist as he moved to help and used him as a club to bat Bakugo down and into the ground as the blond blasted back at him.

All of them were now worried and nervous as they watched the boys hit the ground and get covered by smoke from the impact. It was hard to see what was going on but eventually the smoke cleared to show Bakugo on the ground with All Might's right foot on his back and Midoriya held aloft by All Might's left hand that still held his wrist.

He then tossed Midoriya away and taunted them some more as the kids watched. It was over, they all thought it until suddenly there was a massive explosion from between All Might's legs that blasted him off his feet. Bakugo had gotten his hand around and unleashed a blast on the scale he'd first used against Uraraka and then Adrien in the Sports Festival. The result was that Bakugo could get up, approach Midoriya and then with another powerful explosion, he threw Midoriya at the exit to pass the final for both of them.

They all thought that this was it, that finally the rivals had worked together and were at last going to pass the final. Alas that was not to be the case as All Might suddenly shot out of the smoke cloud and at Midoriya. All Might proceeded to crash into Midoriya's back with his own in what had to be painful and drive him into the ground to bounce off it and into a randomly parked buss near the exit before Midoriya fell to the ground in a heap.

However, Bakugo was still in the fight and flying after All Might despite no gauntlets and the scale of his recent explosions. This final was becoming the most intense yet as the 6 students watched in silence to see what would happen next.

What happened next was another huge blast like from the Sports Festival that hit All Might at point blank range. They all saw Bakugo in the air clutching his arm in pain. He was going well past his limits to fight and to win. It was classic Bakugo and despite his terrible personality they all saw it for how inspirational it was.

Midoriya slowly got up and then began to head to the gate, but they could all see that he was badly injured and even as he powered up it might not be enough get there in time. At first All Might was engaging Bakugo but then he changed and came at Midoriya to get him before he reached the gate.

That was when it happened. Midoriya was creating an opening for Bakugo to come at All Might to allow him to get to the gate and it looked like it would work up until the moment All Might dodged the attack. He then grabbed Bakugo's head and drove him head first into the ground with a massive crash. When the dust cleared Bakugo was somehow still conscious as he grabbed the weights on All Might's wrist and set off a small explosion. He was still fighting to allow Midoriya to escape. Then it happened.

It was almost like in slow motion as Midoriya came out of nowhere, smiling, and punched All Might squarely in the face. Despite the fact that Midoriya could have passed the exam for both of them already, he had come back as a hero would, saved Bakugo and was running to the exit carrying his unconscious teammate to the gate so they could pass together despite the pain he had to be in. Only Marinette, Adrien, and Recovery Girl noticed that All Might was at the end of his time and smoking so there was no way he could follow them.

Still, the French pair were smiling widely with the other 4 as Midoriya, carrying a clearly unconscious Bakugo, exited the gate and passed the final. They had done it, despite the terrible start and broken relationship between the pair, they had overcome it, worked together to fight All Might, and passed.

"Team Midoriya and Bakugo have passed the exam." The announcer said as the watchers smiled ore went further as Uraraka jumped up and down holding Tsu's hands as she did the same. "All matches for the practical portion of class 1-A's final have now been completed."

"Well, I had better get to healing." Recovery Girl said getting up and heading out as Midoriya laid Bakugo on the ground and collapsed unable to go any further with the pain he was in.

It was over, the finals were done. There wasn't much to say but they all talked about the last final anyway as they headed out to change and go home before learning tomorrow what was going to happen. It had been a wild day of ups and downs for the class, but it was over. They had completed their first semester at U.A. high and that was just the tip of the iceberg of the adventures to come.

Well, there it is, the other finals as seen by the Miraculous duo (other than Kirishima and Sato's one as they didn't get back in time) and how they interpreted them, with some bonus things thrown in and have a good bit of foreshadowing at the end because I like that kinda thing. I know it's more of a filler, but it keeps the story moving and as this is based more in the anime rather than the manga this was in there. This is actually one of the biggest differences I know between the anime and manga as in the manga all the finals are at the same time, so they only know from announcements and didn't watch so Tsu didn't interrogate Ochaco, nor did they see anything. In addition, in the mange Aizawa actually singles out Mina and Kaminari for the Principal to handle as well during the teacher's meeting to handle for the reason Adrien said (single mindedness in battle) just like he singled out the other two pairs, so I threw that in as well to explain why that was their matchup. However, that is all I have for this chapter, and I am sure that y'all know what is coming next so I will leave it here. If you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
