Here it is, the eighty-first full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on the set day that I promised each week. The Overhaul arc is over, the extra lessons arc has occurred off page as there was no changes to that thanks to Marinette and Adrien passing their licensing exam, and the transition is over which means that it is time to begin the next arc of MHA and see how our French duo impact it. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no review questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. Now, though, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 81st full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 81: Normal School Stuff

Adrien and Marinette smiled as they watched the latest shenanigans that their classmates were getting into as they settled into the class ready for another day of the usual routine they'd recently fallen into as of late. The year had turned over into October and the weather was beginning to cool while an event that was a tradition in Japan was a month away which meant that it was around the corner so about time to start preparing for it.

Naturally, this was something that the French pair didn't know about and neither had really encountered it in their study of Japanese culture when preparing to enter U.A.. Between all the other things they had to do to adjust to their new life and the fact that it wasn't something directly related to being heroes Mage hadn't bothered to cover it, so they would be in for a surprise soon enough. They knew something was coming but not what it was, and they didn't know that today was the day that preparations for that event would begin.

It was a few days after the raid, and they'd just gotten word that Eri was finally out of isolation but still in the hospital for a while as they needed more time to observe her and decide what was going to happen with her. Only Midoriya, as one of the two who'd first encountered her and bonded with her, had been given permission to visit her from those in their class who had been involved in the raid. He and Togata would be going to see her in a few days' time when she was ready for visitors. The others would probably have to wait to meet her properly, if they got the chance that is.

In the meantime, school had returned to normal full time for all the raid team and after the final catchup with Mage, and the introduction to Fei and her plans for the upcoming bakery, the French pair and Momo had had no more contact with them. That was mainly due to the fact that free time was a foreign concept to them at the moment as they still had catch up lessons on top of everything and they were not there yet, so they'd be doing lessons tonight.

Sure, Marinette had spoken to Sato about the Japanese baked goods and gotten his opinion on them and how to bake them though he wasn't as good as she'd hoped as he preferred western sweets mainly because they were heavier in sugar. Well, the Americans did like their sugar so it sense given his Quirk, but he could bake Japanese foods as well for Marinette to try and would help her perfect them as well, a return of the favor he saw her doing for him by teaching him how to improve his own baking.

Sato had asked Marinette why she wanted to learn Japanese baked goods and all Marinette had said was that she was in Japan now, it was only fitting that she learn their style and pastries to honor her host nation's cuisine as well as to further her own baking prowess. That and she wanted to see if she could combine them with French pastries to produce something tasty that fused both cultures together which Sato was more than willing to help with.

The reason for the incomplete answer was that the bakery plans were going to be kept a secret from the class until the time was right, a nice surprise for them. That and Marinette wanted to throw a big day before opening party for the hero course to celebrate the opening of, to her, the first branch of Tom and Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie outside of Paris. It would be her way to thank her classmates for making her and Adrien feel so welcome while also showing off what made her family famous.

That was of course still several months off, at least 3 probably 4 depending on how fast things went for Fei, so for now it was time to focus on school and the little fun the class had before the start of their homeroom for the day. Today's fun was Mina showing off to the class how good she was at break dancing.

Marinette had to admit, her friend was seriously talented at dancing and her skills easily transferred over to her hero work. Marinette had always noted that despite her more athletic physique compared to the other girls in the class, Mina was probably second only to Marinette of the 7 girls in terms of flexibility and total bodily control. Technically she was probably top when you factored in Marinette's enhanced constitution but in a world of Quirks everything mattered.

Sure, Tsu was more athletic and agile than Mina but that was because of her Quirk and the mutant nature of it did limit Tsu somewhat in what she could do. Mina didn't have that limit and when you added in the versatility of her acid and how she used it to slide around the battlefield, Mina had a lot of close combat potential.

It appeared that she'd inadvertently maximized it through her passion for dance and she really showed it off that morning to the class. It was impressive and Marinette smiled at the girl's passion and how it would transition to her hero work. She could probably counter Mina in close combat due to her raw strength and flexibility, though Marinette would have to use Lucky Charm to counter Mina's acid, but the girl's moves made her unpredictable in a hand-to-hand fight.

When it came to learning more about Quirkless combat, Marinette was sure that Mina would be assigned martial arts training to make the most of her moves. Though Marinette didn't know it yet, Mage had already noted Mina's dance skills from her personal records and had already planned to teach her capoeira as her primary way of Quirkless combat. Given that Mina was one of the many without a Quirk that was naturally suited for offense, though hers did have offensive capabilities, mastering a martial art, especially one that incorporated her established dance skills, would make her a better hero.

For now, Marinette and Adrien just enjoyed the display, they could respect talent like Mina's and the dedicated hours it took to become that good, while the class cheered Mina on. The one exception was Mineta who complained that she was wearing athletic shorts under her skirt, something all the girls other than Ochaco now did because of Mineta and Ochaco only didn't because she already wore tights, so he couldn't see her panties. That led to him getting attacked by Toru for being a constant pervert and everyone agreed with her on that front.

Of course, Midoriya instantly saw the combat potential of this as well and began making notes and scribbling in his notebook as he muttered to himself while Aoyama confirmed that Mina's skills were useful there firsthand as she'd used them to best him in the Sports Festival. The pair then showed off how bad they were at dancing which got some good laughs and a promise from Mina to teach them how to actually dance but did get the class thinking about how hobbies could work into combat training.

Mina had her dancing, Sato his baking, even Kirishima's more work out based hobbies helped him as it toughened his Hardening Quirk. Naturally that got Kaminari talking about Jiro's music hobby and the whole class agreed on that front, the girl was clearly gifted with music, and it meant a lot to her based on her room. It was a passion and while she was a hero course student she should think about how it could work into her training or life as a hero, especially with her Quirk.

Alas Jiro clearly had a bit of a self-conscious issue with it because to her it was just a hobby and she almost jabbed Kaminari with one of her earphone jacks when he wouldn't shut up about it. That worried Marinette and she decided to try and talk to her friend about it when she got a chance as it was clear that Kyoka was trying to keep her music from her hero life and Marinette felt like that might be a waste as to be a hero one should embrace all that they were to be the best hero he or she could be.

That would have to wait however as almost as soon as Jiro was done threatening Kaminari and back in her seat while he looked confused and Momo worried for her friend, Mr. Aizawa walked in with his sleeping back under one arm. Instantly the whole class was in their seats patiently waiting for homeroom to start.

"It's coming." Mr. Aizawa said without preamble as he began to put on his sleeping bag, his tone as bored as ever. "The School Festival is almost upon us."

This got a cheer from several members of the class. It was normal school stuff, something many schools in Japan did around this time of year and many in the class were excited for it. Adrien and Marinette were more confused and shared a look as they weren't sure exactly what that entailed but decided that it was best to just let the class play out and see what the whole thing was all about and if possible see how they could contribute to it.

One thing that they noted was that not all the class was excited about it. Some like Ida, Momo and Todoroki were stoic, while others like Midoriya, Tsu, and Kirishima contemplative and of course Bakugo was his usual indifferent self to it though he would of course contribute his own idea to it when the time came. That was certainly interesting and meant that things may not be as cut and dry as those cheering for it were making it out to seem.

"So awesome." Mineta said leaping up from his seat. "There's bound to be events that cater to my tastes at this, even if they'll be a little softcore."

"Gotta love this time of year." Sero added clearly excited for it while the class ignored Mineta's perversity for the moment but would keep an eye on him regardless. "So much to look forward to."

"We got to think of something cool to do." Toru said, her clothes showing just how into it she was. "We can't let the Hero Course down guys."

"Hold on Mr. Aizawa." Kirishima said standing up. "Are you sure that this is ok?"

"Hush Kirishima, don't you ruin this." Kaminari said. "This is a bit of normal fun for once and it's U.A. so it will be the best School Festival we've ever been to. We need this after everything."

"Think about it though, there are villains everywhere right now." Kirishima pointed out. "And we've been targeted twice already this year, you think this won't be an attractive target as well? There's probably some villain or villains already out there already planning to attack the festival."

"You're right, that is a reasonable point, however." Mr. Aizawa began as he finished zipping into his sleeping bag, and already determined to not tell the class about the beauty pageant given who he had in the class and to avoid some of them getting distracted as likely there'd be an attempt to get Yaoyorozu to do it due to that damned commercial she'd found herself in during her internship. "There are students here besides those in the Hero Course. You get the spotlight every year at the Sports Festival, this is for everyone else."

Aizawa paused here for a moment so that his words could sink in. When Kirishima remained standing he proceeded to hammer in the point so that the boy understood the importance of holding the School Festival despite the potential threat, which unbeknownst to all of them there was an active plan by a villain already in the works to target the U.A. School Festival.

"The Support Course really gets a chance to show their stuff at it as this is their best chance at getting recruited by top tier support companies, General Studies shows the normal side of U.A. at it, and don't forget the importance this has for the Business Course as there is a large business aspect to the School Festival." Aizawa continued. "This may not get as much attention as the Sports Festival, but it is the yearly event that they all look forward to. Many of your peers are already feeling stressed by the current conditions here at U.A., especially the dorms system which had to be adopted because of the Hero Course which only further adds to the divide between you lot and the other three courses here."

"When you put it like that, I guess it would be unfair to cancel it." Kirishima said sitting down as he realized how much the School Festival would mean to the other students and bowing his head in apology. "Sorry."

"Correct, it would be unfair to them." Aizawa said as he finished getting comfortable in his sleeping bag, sat down in a corner and began to get ready for his nap. "So, yeah, it's still on so hopefully everyone will enjoy it. Though, due to the need for greater security and the current situation, this year's festival will only be open to U.A. students and staff with a few exceptions mainly for the Support Course given the need to show off their gear to recruiters. You may not be the focus this time, but your class will still need to participate with some original programing. You need to decide what you want to do today so that you can use the next few weeks to get it ready as I expect your best with whatever you do."

With that Mr. Aizawa fell asleep in seconds, the only thing really surprising the class was the speed of it as he was in his sleeping bag, sitting, and leaning against the wall. Clearly he was using this time to take a much-needed nap, so Ida and Momo stood up and went to the podium, as the Class Rep and Deputy Class Rep it fell to them to run this.

"All right as Class Representative it is my duty to facilitate the process from here." Ida said seriously as he settled in at the podium a stack of papers in his hand while Momo stood calmly behind him and to the side ready to help however she could. "I promise I will do my very best so let's start. First, we will have a quick brainstorming session so if anyone has an idea for what we should do please raise your hand."

Instantly the entire class had their hands in the air yelling for Ida's attention to here their Ida. This wasn't something that Marinette and Adrien were used to, sure Francois Dupont had thrown festivals in their time, but the whole school festival thing with every class participating with their own idea was very much a Japanese tradition. Regardless, they wanted to get in on it as well. Both had ideas for what they could do the moment they learned that the class had to do something for the School Festival and while they'd likely not end up being chosen they'd still put them forward to contribute in their own way.

The intensity of the whole class's enthusiasm was such that Ida and Momo were almost blown back by it. It was unexpected but a good sign that their classmates were so passionate about the School Festival, so Ida quickly regained control.

"Calm down, we'll go one at a time and put the ideas on the board before we narrow it down to a single idea." Ida said loudly and chopped his arm out at random, calling on his classmate who he was pointing at. "Yes, you Kaminari."

"A maid café!" Kaminari said standing up excited to get his idea out there first his left arm still raised, it was a good idea that he was sure the class would like, and it was a staple of any school festival plus with the skills and girls in their class, this was a no brainer for them. "Seriously imagine it, and then imagine it with more details. The girls in cute French maid outfits and we have an actual French girl in our class who's also an expert baker who can teach us French phrases and baking to add even more authenticity to it, it's perfect. With Dupain-Cheng…"

"What Kaminari, what will I be doing." Marinette said standing and slamming her hands on her desk as she glared at her classmate, the force of her slam loud enough to silence the whole room though thankfully the desks were strong enough to withstand her strength because she was not going to accept this as an option, her family's bakery would have that covered in a few months and she would not play into this stereotype for anyone but Adrien. "You had better not be imaging me in one of those outfits, I will not wear one you petite merde perverse, you got that?"

"Marinette, you do look adorably cute in one though." Adrien said quietly to defuse the situation a little. "Plus, this is Kaminari's idea, it won't pass as I am sure he's thinking some Mineta-lite like thoughts so the girls will be against it."

"True and thank you kitty." Marinette said flushing and sitting down as the room blinked at Marinette's understandable reaction to the idea while she and Adrien suddenly devolved into sweet French mutterings that was adorably cute in stark contrast to her brief outburst.

"Ok so not Dupain-Cheng as a maid but the idea still works, she can be the manager to make sure it's all authentic." Kaminari said with a slight shudder. "Damn she is scary when she's pissed though."

"Well, you did just try and put her front and center in a Japanese concept that is a bit of a mockery to the point of fetishization of her culture." Jiro said though she wanted to know the French that Marinette had used, the girl only devolved to her native tongue when either unfocused or saying something she didn't want others to know, and Jiro was certain it was the latter. "And of course, she's scary, she's insanely strong with or without her Quick, and many of us have felt that strength in training. It's why she's the top combat student in the whole year. She's scary without pissing her off, princess, and I for one don't want to see what she's like when she's super pissed."

"Yeah I remember." Kaminari said flushing more recalling his humiliating loss to Dupain-Cheng in the Sports Festival as Bakugo growled but he was still committed to his idea which was infinitely better than what any of the extras could come up with. "Even without her, there are enough girls as it is for the maids, so I think we have a winner."

"Maids." Ida said not fully picking up on what had just happened and thinking on the idea. "It is good to serve others and you do make a good point, it could be a chance to show the additional culture in our class if done respectfully though."

"That's way to tame!" Mineta suddenly yelled leaping up his hand in the air getting called on at once. "A topless…"

Before Mineta could finish he was suddenly in a sack, tied up, and banging upside down from the ceiling with only his feet and the balls on his head showing. Everyone just blinked at the speed of what happened. Usually with speed it was likely Ida or maybe Midoriya or Dupain-Cheng being the one acting but to everyone's surprise it was Tsu holding the rope with a calm look on her face. No one knew how she'd suddenly been in the right place at the right time to stop Mineta, but she was which was good as it removed him and his perverted idea from the brainstorming session.

"Want to help me tie this off?" Tsu asked Sato who was nearest her and looking confused.

"Sure thing." Sato said still trying to process what had happened as Tsu handed him the end of the rope.

"Um Tsu, did you have that pre prepared?" Marinette asked, she'd turned to act the moment Mineta began speaking knowing that it would be something perverted and needed to be knocked out right away, but Tsu had beaten her too it. "That was surprisingly quick."

"I've placed several Mineta traps here and in the dorm in various locations that he might be, safer than when we relied on Hatsume's tech as it can malfunction." Tsu said as Sato helped tie off a struggling Mineta who they'd all let free once this was over and referring to an embarrassing incident where the girls had enlisted Hatsume to create and anti Mineta system that backfired and created the illusion of there being a ghost right after a ghost story session in Tokoyami's room. "Figured they'd come in handy a lot, so I'm always prepared to act the moment he voices his perverted thoughts."

"Good preparations, we should all note that as future heroes, moving on though." Ida said rolling with it, he was sure that Mineta's idea would have been inappropriate and probably illegal, so he left Mineta to it and began to survey the rest of the class as they had to get this moving along. "Uraraka, you had an idea."

"A mochi shop." Ochaco suggested, it was her favorite food and a classic for a festival, so it worked.

"Celebrating Japanese cuisine, a good possibility." Ida said and Momo wrote it on the board under maid café, which she expected to fail given that no girl would agree to it, and an already crossed out line that just said 'Mineta's inappropriate idea.' "Kirishima?"

"An arm-wrestling match." Kirishima said grinning making the pose on his desk and hardening for emphasis.

"So intense and manly as I'd expect from you." Ida said as the idea was written down and moved on. "Hagakure?"

"A fun house." Hagakure said excitedly.

"I don't know what you mean but sounds interesting." Ida said as the idea went up. "Sato?"

"A creperie." Sato said smiling and making a whisking motion with his hand now that he'd tied Mineta off.

"That would be great for eating on the go and brings in our French classmates' culture better than a maid café." Ida said with a nod. "Ashido?"

"Disco." Mina said doing a dance move.

"Sounds invigorating and perfect for you." Ida said. "Midoriya?"

"A hero quiz." Izuku said with his usual enthusiasm.

"As I'd expect from you." Ida said, Momo again writing the idea down. "Asui?"

"The frogs songing around." Tsu said.

"How charming but not sure how that works or what it actually entails." Ida said. "Koda?"

"Maybe a petting zoo." Koda said nervously but pushing past his shyness to voice his idea to the class.

"Also, a suggestion but the cleanup is going to be an issue." Ida said. "Todoroki?"

"Soba stall." Todoroki said simply.

"It is your favorite." Ida said. "Bakugo?"

"Fight to the death." Bakugo said basically burning with intensity at the idea.

"Unexpected for a festival but completely expected from you." Ida said as Momo reluctantly wrote it down. "Tokoyami?"

"A mad banquet of darkness." Tokoyami said seriously.

"Sounds scary." Ida said. "Aoyama?"

"A twinkling extravaganza." Aoyama said.

"Huh? Well, that is to be expected from you" Ida said as Momo just wrote it down, it wouldn't make it past the first cut she was sure. "Dupain-Cheng?"

"A fashion show." Marinette said surprising a few with her idea as many had expected it to be baking related not fashion even if they knew she was passionate and skilled in that area as well. "With Adrien as the star."

"It is a passion of yours and Agreste is a model so works." Ida said though Momo grinned at the idea, it was a good one for Marinette to suggest as it fit her other big passion that was more her than baking though she had a feeling it was mainly to show off her boyfriend and how good he looked on a runway. "Agreste?"

"A cat pun contest." Adrien said causing Marinette to instantly groan, she'd been enjoying the lack of those, but she probably deserved it for her own idea.

"Meow." Ida said which really didn't work at all coming from him. "Jiro?"

"Maybe a skit." Jiro said causing a few to look surprised and Ida to pause allowing Momo put group study, her own idea, on the board as well and Ida no doubt had his idea ready to add at the end.

"Anyone else?" Ida asked recovering. "Sero?"

"A traditional café." Sero said, he'd liked the maid idea but knew it wouldn't succeed in this class so went with something more traditional. "We could even blend in French elements to it to make it Franko-Japanese."

"A good blend potentially." Ida said. "Ojiro?"

"A martial arts demonstration." Ojiro said.

"Just what I'd expect from you." Ida said. "Shoji?"

"Takoyaki shop." Shoji added.

"A staple of a festival for sure." Ida said. "That should be all so once Yaoyorozu and I have added our ideas we can move onto the finalization."

With that Ida added his own idea, a local history presentation, to the list and thus all the ideas were now on the board for the whole class to see. They had 22 ideas up there though one, Mineta's, was already crossed out. It was time to narrow it down a little more.

"Ok, I think we've got something from everyone now." Ida said looking at the board proud of the diversity of suggestions his class had produced. "A good range of ideas to choose from for sure."

"To begin with, let's cut some." Momo said looking at it. "Anything inappropriate, impossible, potentially illegal, or confusing."

Instantly Aoyama's, Bakugo's, and Tokoyami's ideas, were cut from the list and joined Mineta's in the not going to be considered pile which made sense ask Aoyama's and Tokoyami's were both confusing, nebulous ideas no one really understood, and Bakugo's was, well, a death match. This got reactions from those who'd been cut off the bat.

"Why'd you even bother asking." Bakugo growled though no one paid him any heed because it was clear his idea was both inappropriate and impossible, not to mention illegal and with serious liability issues.

"Who said a local history presentation?" Toru asked looking over the list. "That sounds super boring."

"Definitely." Shoji said as a few others nodded, and Ida twitched in annoyance. "It's not something that will attract other students."

"It's not awful but the others seem more fun." Ojiro said politely. "And that's the point of a School Festival, to have fun."

"Very well, my classmates have spoken." Ida said accepting defeat with as much grace as he could muster. "My idea is out, please cross it off Yaoyorozu."

"And we do group study sessions all the time." Kaminari pointed out.

"Yes that's true I guess…" Momo said a little disheartened that she'd been outvoted as well. "I just thought the other classes might also like it but ok, I'll cut it."

"What if we rolled all the food stuff into one idea?" Sero asked as Ida and Momo's ideas were crossed out bringing the total rejected so far to 6. "We have the talent in the class for it and we could even incorporate the maid idea though probably should include butlers, so it isn't all on the girls. Plus, with butlers we'll get more customers as we appeal to both genders and not just men."

"But it's various different ideas and styles." Kirishima pointed out. "We've got crepes, a traditional café with French elements, mochi, takoyaki, and soba. It's a bit gross to mix them."

"You can add a fair bit to crepes, the range is surprisingly broad, but I've never known them to incorporate eastern dishes." Marinette admitted. "Mainly it's western styles, either sweet with stuff like marshmallows, ice cream, chocolate, or peanut butter, or savory with meats and vegitables. I don't think soba or takoyaki would work. Maybe mochi could work but I'm not sure how rice would fair in a crepe."

"Yeah and besides, it seems kinda weird to offer a bunch of random food like that, it might confuse people." Jiro said. "Plus, our class's best talent is baking with Marinette and Sato but that would put a lot on them."

From there it just devolved even further as the class began chatting amongst themselves. Those still with ideas were trying to pitch them, Hagakure was really on her fun house as it hadn't been cut despite no one but her knowing what it was, and she wasn't being clear on what it actually was, while Ida tried to get some civil discussion. They were not listening to him though and Momo pointed out that at this point a consensus would be hard.

Ida made one more attempt at order but then the bell suddenly rang to end class. They'd talked so much about so many ideas that they'd failed to do more than narrow it down from 22 to about 16 and that was it.

"That was a highly unproductive meeting." Aizawa said getting up from his nap as the bell rang, yawning and walking out of the room with his sleeping bag under his arm. "Decide what you'll do by tomorrow morning. If you don't, we'll go with my idea: an educational lecture."

With that Aizawa turned and glared at his class and they all just stared back at him. it was just a class; their homeroom teacher's idea was a display of them having a class which was certainly motivation to come to a consensus. It had the desired effect, and the class came together to decide what they'd do by that night. With that the class was motivated and cheered that they'd have the idea by the end of the day before heading out to the next part of the day.

That night, thanks to Todoroki of all people, and after a lot of debate regarding the remaining options, the class minus the 8 who were still in extra lessons and Bakugo who was asleep, finally began to coalesce around an idea that they could do. The idea, which wasn't on the original list, was one that they could all get behind and be a part of and that was to throw a concert for the school, a proper rock band concert, in one of the gyms that would really get the students going and show them that U.A. was for all of them, not just the Hero Course.

Todoroki voiced his opinion on it, though he didn't actually know what a concert was exactly, so he showed them on his laptop, because Ida had suggested they do something for the other classes as a form of stress relief due to them being the cause of the other classes moving onto campus. The whole thing tied into Todoroki's extra lessons and the stuff he and Bakugo, along with Yoarashi and that strange Camie chick who wouldn't stop texting him now, had done to win those kids hearts in their last class.

This was the idea that was needed to lift them past their block on what to do for the School Festival. Mina was the first to really embrace it as the dance choreographer for the class so they could really do that part well. Add in Marinette's fashion skills and Agreste's expertise in the area they had costumes sorted if they agreed when they got back from class. However, this was all about the music at the end of the day and that meant that the whole idea hinged on one person not only agreeing to it but taking full command of the class for it and that person was Jiro.

It made sense for her to take charge because she was the musically gifted one in their class. She was the one who was needed to make it all work. Not only did she have the instruments they needed, but she had the skills to play them all and teach just in case others didn't know how or needed a refresher. She'd done a bit with Toru and Ochaco in their limited free time and Toru showed that by reminding Jiro of her skills and how much the school would love to hear her.

Jiro was worried about it, her hobby wasn't one that helped her hero work like some of the class, music was just a hobby to her, and she was nervous to show it off to the school. It was why she'd gotten upset earlier about that when Kaminari brought it up, so he took the lead to persuade her and pointed out how awesome she was. Then of all people Koda got in on it by suggesting she use her hobby to make other people smile and how it would be useful as a pro, though he did have a decent friendship with Jiro after they were partnered for the final together at the end of the first semester.

Without Momo there to intervein Kyoka was beginning to get overwhelmed and her shyness and insecurities were beginning to come out. That was when Toru played one more card that would be able to tip the scales.

"Jiro, I know that Marinette would be supporting this now if she was here and she'd be saying the same thing as the others." Toru said happily and Jiro had to admit the invisible girl was really going for the jugular there by invoking that the girls' de facto leader and the one all of them looked up to would support her as well because Jiro knew that Marinette would support and encourage her. "Remember her passion is fashion, that's not exactly conducive to hero work but we all know she loves to share it even if we haven't had much of a chance to take her up on her offer to make us cute clothes. She's been too busy, but this will allow her to express it as well so please, why not help the whole school out now?"

That was what finally got to Jiro, and she knew it. Ever since she'd first experienced Marinette in the battle trial and realized just how strong the girl was she'd admired the French girl. Since then that admiration had only deepened as she learned more about Marinette, who she was as a person, how well rounded she was, saw her resolve, her skills, and her ability to lead first hand.

The girl was a natural and inspired all the girls in the class, and likely many of the boys who'd experienced her skills as well, to the point that they'd all default to her. Well, all but Ochaco but only a blind man, aka Midoriya, couldn't see that she was head over heals for him and looked to him first and foremost.

Marinette was their best girl though, the last one standing in the Sports Festival even if she'd lost to Todoroki in the semis, the one who'd held her own in the forest both before the training camp and during the attack on it, and who'd supported Jiro during the licensing exam when Agreste put her and Midoriya under Jiro's charge. Jiro was sure that Marinette would love to make the outfits for a concert, and she'd support Jiro in this if Jiro chose to take the lead, as would Momo who'd likely defend her nervousness right now as well.

All that was enough to finally tip the scales for Jiro. That said, she still needed to talk to Marinette and get some advice from her as well as ask about something else. This idea, a concert for the school, it was a good one, but Ida had pointed out earlier that they weren't just a Japanese class this year so maybe Marinette could help there, and Jiro could find a way to allow the class to show off their exchange students as well. That was for another moment however, for now she had to give the class her answer and after what the others had said to her, there was only one thing she could say to her class.

"Well after what you've all said." Jiro said not looking at the class as she rubbed her head nervously before finally looking up at them with as much intensity as she could muster while blushing from all the praise her musical talents were getting her. "If I didn't do it then I guess it wouldn't be rocking at all."

With that the event that Class 1-A would do at the U.A. School Festival was decided and all in the extra classes would agree with it as soon as they got back later. They were going to throw a concert for the whole school, now all that was left to do was begin the preparations for it, assign roles, and who knows, maybe someone from outside the school would get a chance to see it as well. All that was to come as Class 1-A began to get ready for their next great challenge, conquering the School Festival.

Ah a nice, shorter, chapter to really jump start the School Festival arc which will be a decently long one as I intend to incorporate some original suggestions into it to spice it up and material from the fourth School Brief book into it as well. The one thing I won't do, mainly because it is its own chapter in the fourth School Brief book, is Class B's play, well beyond it's references of course. If you want to know how that goes, and it is pretty funny, do check out the School Brief book for it. I have used those books before, mainly the slumber party and testosterone match, and this will be the next time I use it but not the last as at least one of the fifth book's briefs will be used as well when the time is right. I also made two references to it in this chapter, the Hatsume thing is actually in the third School Briefs book and tied to a scary story session in Tokoyami's room that all had a funny culmination. The other is Aizawa not mentioning the beauty pageant, that was a deliberate move on his part hence why they didn't know about it until it was too late and even if they did, the girl in it and her attendant wouldn't be able to participate in the concert as the pageant prep is too taxing, again that is revealed in the fourth School Brief book in the chapter on Kendo's pageant prep and how she couldn't be in the play because of it. Anyway, that is all I have for this long note, the only thing to add is the translation of Marinette's little French outburst at Kaminari is 'little perverted shit' give or take as it was google translate. I will now leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
