Here it is, the 112th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released early as a Christmas present for y'all seeing as I am currently ahead of schedule with all my writings. The big missions of the work study have ended so all that is really left to do is wrap up this arc with a good old fashioned catch up and preparation for what is to come for our heroes in the final semester of their first year at U.A. as they continue to get ready for what is facing them on the horizon. That is really all the administrative stuff that I have for now and there are no guest reviews to respond to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 112th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.
Chapter 112: Second Work Study Wrap Up
"Well, it's almost time for the third semester of the year to start so may as well have this catch up now." Mage said as Marinette and Adrien, both still wearing their hero costumes from a day of working, sat down on the sofa opposite his in his office in the Guardian Agency as a pair of drinks appeared before the teens. "You know go over what is to come in the next semester, what I expect going forward with the work study and catch you up on the aftermaths of your main missions as you deserve to know what your hard work has led to."
It was the penultimate day of winter break but as Adrien and Marinette would be going back to school tomorrow morning in preparation for the semester to begin the day after that hence why they were having this chat now. It felt like it had been a while since Mage had called one of these but in reality it hadn't been that long as the last one was New Year's day which wasn't too long ago.
The reason why it felt long was because of the missions that they'd been on right at the start of their second work study that had kicked it off with a bang. Marinette had accompanied Mage to the Verize Islands at the request of the Sea Rescue Hero: Selkie to assist him in apprehending some smugglers there. Ryukyu and her agency, well just her and her three work study students, had also joined them and while they'd had some good old beach fun they'd also had a mission that they'd accomplished with ease.
True Marinette had pushed past her limits and then some with Lucky Charm and passed out right at the end of the mission but after an IV and a lot of protein she was back on her feet and enjoying the beach before coming back. Mage had actually had her stay an extra day as he had some things to sort out with the smugglers and deal with Fei's requests regarding her own mission not that Marinette minded as she needed some time to fully recover. That mission that Fei was dealing with had been the one that Adrien had been on that had started the night of Marinette's mission so a few hours after she'd completed it.
For his mission Adrien and BB, he dealt with both sides of that person so he just used their hero name to describe their actions while on the mission, had headed west to Fukui to meet up with Fei and apprehend a fugitive that had been wanted for years and who had cut a path of destruction from America to Chile before coming to the far east to wreak havoc in Indonesia and Singapore. Finally, the fugitive had made her way to Japan which Fei had tracked from China, and they'd managed to strike her when she was in a place that worked to their advantage and after a short, heated battled finally capture her.
It hadn't been as smooth as they'd like, however, and after they'd returned to Tokyo the evening after the apprehension Fei had been ordered to remain in hospital for a few days to make sure that she was ok as her injuries had been a bit more severe than anticipated. That had surprised Adrien, but it turned out that it was a matter of time before the full extent had been known and thankfully she hadn't flown so it was only a brief stay before she was fully healed up.
Once she was cleared Fei had had to return to Musutafu to continue working there leaving Adrien and Marinette to work with just Mage for the rest of the work study as Fei did have more duties to take care of there than she did in Tokyo. The main duty was the bakery that was nearing completion, so she'd have another bakery update for Marinette soon enough.
Not much had really happened since then. They'd trained, done some patrols, and worked on investigations but that was it. The work study had started with a bang, but it had petered out afterwards and what they were dealing with was just mundane stuff that was normal hero business. Mage had told them that this was what would happen most of the time but still there had been skirmishes on patrols that had kept them on their toes and crime was up in Japan, so it wasn't boring at all.
It had been a fruitful work study and reminded the teens why they liked being heroes but now they were ready to get back to school for a bit though both of them knew that work studies would continue through the semester, so they had to be ready for that as well. Part of this meeting was going to be about that so as their drinks appeared before them, Mage opting for a tumbler of fine whiskey as he was want to do in such situations, Marinette broached the topic.
"About that." Marinette said as she sipped her French tea which was nice and milky for her. "How will the work study be done going forward?"
"Pretty much the same as it was last time." Mage said. "I expect you here, and yes I'll arrange the trip, Thursday after all your training is done, well once you're all bathed and ready to be transported, and you will stay until Monday evening when I will send you back to U.A. That way you get two weekdays and the weekend here. Most agencies will be doing this model so it will work but you will be getting more school work to compensate for it, and I do expect you to maintain that while here."
"Of course." Adrien said with a nod. "We understand on that front."
"Good." Mage said. "And that is basically it for the work study as there are no bells or whistles on it. I expect we will be doing some more team ups, and you will get random team up assignments that the HPSC is wanting to do more of, but otherwise it will be business as usual while you are here."
"Random team ups?" Marinette asked.
"The HPSC wants to get more students who have provisional licenses from various schools more experience working with random heroes and on random teams as sometimes you don't get to choose your team in the field so this is a way to replicate it." Mage said. "All that will happen is that at times you'll get a team up assignment where you and some classmates be they from U.A. or Shiketsu or possibly another school and then go and meet up with an assigned pro though you won't know who the pro is until you meet him or her. The pros have no say in it either and some aren't too thrilled with it."
"Let me guess, Mirko doesn't want to do this." Marinette said. "She's not exactly a team friendly person."
"Not in the slightest." Mage said. "But some are happy for it to the point that they may request specific students assist them. On that front you should expect that for certain Adrien."
"I should?" Adrien asked confused.
"Yup and I won't say anything more, that would ruin the fun." Mage said with a grin. "But yes that is the hero work you will be expected to do during the semester. It's more than usual but we are in the Age of Endeavor so things are a little different now that All Might is no longer active."
"I'm still confused about why I'll get a special request." Adrien said.
"Moving on." Mage said ignoring Adrien. "There will be a lot of training at school as well because as you know I am teaching the first years Quirkless combat next semester. That begins soon and Fei will assist me there whenever she is free to do so, so expect that."
"We've done some more training here in that regard." Marinette said recalling the various training sessions that they'd had since their first missions ended. "So, we've got the basics, but this will be useful for sure."
"It will be but that's not the only training that you will be expected to do." Mage said. "There is some special training that both of you will be getting involved in as well that is critical."
"Special training?" Adrien asked. "How so?"
"Izuku Midoriya is in need of proper training regarding the developments with his Quirk, or more accurately Quirks." Mage said and as they were in a secured room and all in the know they could discuss this openly, but he was still not going to name it. "As you know that little incident in the joint training exercise was not an alteration of his Quirk but the manifestation of a new Quirk. Well, new is a misnomer as it is a Quirk that had existed before called Blackwhip that was used by the 5th wielder several decades ago."
"Right." Marinette said remembering the update they'd gotten on this a while back though after Mage had revealed his own true identity to Midoriya and Bakugo as part of the new developments surrounding One for All. "He's expected to manifest all the Quirks that have built up over the years in time if I recall."
"Correct." Mage said. "So far we've only seen Blackwhip manifest which is good and based on what I've researched the remaining ones don't seem to be as destructive but Blackwhip was a lot stronger than it had been with Lariat so who knows. That and we actually don't know who the second and third users were or what their Quirks were so we're completely in the dark about them at the moment."
"At least now we know that that might happen." Adrien said. "And can prepare for it even if we don't know the details of two of the Quirks that are going to manifest."
"Precisely which is what All Might wants to do while also trying to figure out who the second and third were, but the 4th wielder held the Quirk for so long and would have received it during a time of utter chaos that it's still eluding us." Mage said. "Regardless of that, All Might wants Midoriya to train in both improving Blackwhip, once he's begun to get a handle on it, as well as prepare his body for the next one that he wants to try and manifest without it happening unexpectedly so that they are ready for it in a way Midoriya wasn't with Blackwhip."
"First off which Quirk are they going to try and manifest?" Marinette asked deciding to leave the whole mystery of the second and third wielders to Mage and All Might as that was beyond her wheelhouse on this. "There are 3 that are known so which is the one that All Might wants to focus on?"
"Float, the Quirk of Nana Shimura, the holder before All Might and his master." Mage said. "It is both the one that he knows best and the easiest to actually train for in advance of its manifestation as Uraraka's Zero Gravity will mimic it to some extent and so she can use that on Midoriya so that he can then train to fight in the air. It's not ideal but the best we got."
"What excuse will be given to Ochaco?" Marinette asked though this was training for Midoriya, so Marinette knew that her friend needed none to be near her inspiration, best friend and crush.
"I don't know, that's up to All Might." Mage said. "Bakugo, as he's in the know, will be the main person to train with Midoriya but once he has some sense of how to properly use Blackwhip All Might want you Marinette along with Sero and Asui to assist in training his use of it."
"Makes sense." Marinette said as she realized why she was being asked to help out with that Quirk. "Sero's Tape is pretty close to Blackwhip in a lot of ways only more useful for long term capture and less volatile or destructive while my skills with my yo-yo really help on how to use something like that in a combat situation. Why Tsu though?"
"She's got some similar versatility with her tongue and can help in ways you and Sero might not be able to." Mage said. "And her emotional intelligence and calm mind will be useful in their own regards as well."
"Makes sense." Marinette said with a nod as that was the best thing about Tsu, she was the perfect calming influence on a situation. "That actually answers my second question about training so I'm good on that front."
"I do have a question." Adrien said and Mage nodded at him to continue. "What am I to help with? You said both of us so what's my role?"
"Simple, you're to help train Midoriya to fight Shigaraki should it come to that." Mage said. "While we aren't certain there is a chance that All for One has deduced that Midoriya is the successor and has already sent Shigaraki on a path for him, or at least has a way to do so knowing him. As such All Might want Midoriya to be able to face off against a Quirk like Decay and you're by far the best. Cataclysm is a lot like Decay only with some key differences in that Decay has no organic limiter, is solely based in Shigaraki's hands though there are reports that he's increased it's range similar to how you've done with Cataclysm, and it's not an energy like Cataclysm. As such you can train against Midoriya so that he can learn to fight it."
"That actually does make sense." Adrien said as he understood what Mage was getting on about though unbeknownst Mage was leaving something out as it was information that Mage himself wasn't supposed to have so couldn't share. "I can even avoid using it unless I land all 5 fingers on him and then activate it to destroy his clothes and register a hypothetical kill."
"That is the plan, and you can use Cataclysm on the ground in those fights as well so long as it is all 5 fingers in contact to help with the simulation." Mage said. "To avoid suspicion on that front these training sessions will be open to all in the course so it will help you train in hand to hand and the others just in case they face off with Shigaraki as well."
"I understand." Adrien said with a nod. "I will do my best on this front."
"Good, that about covers all the training and work study for the upcoming semester." Mage said. "There's going to be a lot, but it will be worth it in the end."
"It will be." Marinette agreed.
"And now that I've covered what's coming up I guess it's time to address some updates from your missions as you deserve them." Mage said. "There have been enough to tell you what is going to happen so I'll go over what I can share, and we'll start with the one Marinette was on as that is the easiest."
"Yes I would like to know what's going on there." Marinette said. "You took an extra day to sort things out so what was that about?"
"Just putting the wheels in motion for the next stage of the investigation into where the drugs were going and what they were for." Mage said. "It turns out that the smugglers, while professional, weren't as professional as their employers."
"How so?" Marinette asked.
"Well basically their employers didn't reveal who they were at all." Mage said. "We've got nothing to go on but a final destination for the cargo and even then that was just the final destination for those particular smugglers. Of course, the smugglers are being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of chemicals to manufacture a controlled substance, illegal use of Quirks, and smuggling so they're going to go away for at least a decade and change, and they've got other warrants out on them from other countries, so they'll be in prison for a long time. Still, we don't know who the drugs were for."
"At least they are going away for a while." Marinette said glad to hear that the smugglers were going to be punished. "But where were they going?"
"Their final destination was a small country called Otheon." Mage said.
"Otheon?" Adrien asked.
"It's one of two countries, the other being Klayd, that popped up on an artificial island that was made on the southwest rim of Celtic Sea in the early decades after the advent." Mage explained. "The island is a little larger than Ireland and south of that nation so southwest of England and west of the Iberian peninsula with influences from England, France, Spain and Portugal. They are part of the EU so fall under Europe's jurisdiction. I'd suggest brushing up just in case because as French citizens you should know about them."
"Will do." Marinette said and Adrien just nodded at that. "But why Otheon?"
"It's a good hub for entering western Europe while not having to deal with England but it could also be the final destination for all we know so it is hard to say." Mage said with a shrug. "We really don't know but as this is international the Guardians are now fully in charge of the investigation. I've alerted the Guardians who are based in England, France, and Italy as we have several in the former one and at least one in each of the latter two, so they are on high alert for Trigger and the drugs needed to manufacture it as are our people across Europe, north Africa and even the middle east."
"Wait if they are going to Europe but were detained in the pacific that is a really long trip." Adrien said. "By boat that is."
"It certainly is and the fact that they didn't go down and through the Sea of Japan to the west before skirting China and then through Malaysia and Indonesia means that they were likely going to go to Otheon via the Pacific Ocean." Mage said. "Likely on a diagonal angle down to the west coast of South America and then down around Tierra del Fuego while staying far enough away to avoid detection but also try to avoid hitting the rough Drake Passage before sailing up through the Atlantic to Otheon."
"That just sounds long." Marinette said.
"It is a long ass trip but makes the most sense and avoids major shipping areas like the Panama Canal." Mage said. "They could have also gone down and then cut back into the Indian Ocean before going around the Cape of Good Hope, it's about the same amount of time given how Otheon is practically on the other side of the world from Japan, so we don't know."
"And if they're smuggling it that way then they'd want to avoid shipping lanes like the Red Sea, Suez Canal, and Mediterranean as well." Adrien said getting it now. "A long trip for sure."
"It is which is why we think that whatever the drugs were going to be used for it is still a ways off." Mage said. "But we want to be sure, so we've sent a Guardian who is a master of disguise and infiltration into Otheon to find out the truth. However, that's all you need to know about that. If more comes of it I will let you know."
"Oh ok." Marinette said. "I guess it is beyond us now that it is out of Japanese territory."
"Correct but I will still liaise with the necessary parties to remain in the loop." Mage said. "But yes that basically sums up that mission as it is now outside of our hands. As is Adrien's but that one was a lot messier in the aftermath given who was apprehended."
"I mean it was more people who have been on the run for a while." Adrien said. "The paperwork alone was a lot to begin with and the crimes that they have been charged with in various countries before they got here were still rolling in when we left."
"That was but a fraction of what I had to deal with as the head of the branch here but to have Boom in custody was worth it as she's been embarrassing us for too long." Mage said. "I'll get to her in a moment, but the others are easier to deal with to some extent."
"The underlings we faced." Adrien said. "Right?"
"Correct." Mage said with a nod. "And the backer as well."
"Right, him, what's happening there?" Adrien asked. "And what does it mean with the Meta Liberation Army connection."
"Unfortunately, that is the part we're in the dark about." Mage said though it was only about the backer not the army itself but that was also classified information that Mage wasn't supposed to know so couldn't share it either. "He appears to have gone to ground and can't be found. A lawyer for him did claim that he's innocent, that the basement part was unknown to him as it's not on the blueprints though he did build the house there so that argument will fail, and the entrance was preserved because you opted for the express way in, so we have his fingerprints as proof that he knew how to access it. He's definitely going to be charged for harboring them, when he's arrested that is."
"It was faster and did preserve that in the end so worth it." Adrien said. "But a shame we can't find the backer. He could provide useful information to us."
"He's going to go away for a while when he is found seeing as he was providing material support to a terrorist organization and the MLA is still designated as such." Mage said and Marinette was glad she'd read up on this in the wake of Adrien's mission so now she was versed in it as well. "And there are a lot of other financial crimes he's committed so he's looking at more than 20 years in prison when it's all said and done but he's currently in hiding. As he's a Japanese citizen and believed to still be in Japan he's the responsibility of the police and heroes here so out of our jurisdiction now that the fugitives he was harboring have been arrested. The others all weren't Japanese citizens, so they are within our purview."
"What's happened to them?" Adrien asked.
"Well as you know two died from their injuries on the way to the hospital." Mage said. "Thanks to the cameras in the helmets and the injuries it was clear that they were killed by Boom so you three were never in trouble for that and their deaths have been added to Boom's Japanese indictment though she'll likely never stand trial for them given her other crimes and their associated punishments. The other 10 who were captured weren't charged with that but were charged with multiple counts of murder for killing the smuggler ship crew and scuttling that boat along with terror charges for trying to join the Meta Liberation Army."
"That doesn't sound like they're getting out ever again then." Adrien said.
"Correct, the best they're going to get is life without parole, but Japan has the death penalty, and all are going to be facing it, the government has already announced that they intend to pursue it against all 10 of them." Mage said. "Those who have already been patched up have been transported to maximum security facilities, though none of the underlings reached the level needed to be sent to Tartarus, where they will await trial. There are a few still in the villain hospital near Fukui but they are fully secured and will be transported as soon as they are cleared."
"That is good to hear." Adrien said before something hit him. "Wait, aren't they wanted elsewhere in the world so why are they being tried here."
"Oh, all of them are wanted in Singapore and Indonesia as well for the crimes committed there as they were all with Boom there." Mage said. "Well, most did, three are Indonesia nationals wanted there as well and all three have capital offenses against them so they will be extradited to Indonesia once they are able to be sent there as Indonesia gets first crack at their own citizens. Of the remaining 7, one is American who's been with Boom since near the start while the others are Hispanic with two from Mexico, two from Venezuela, a Chilean and an Argentine. All are wanted in their native countries and several others in central and south America but only the American will be extradited under international law."
"How so?" Adrien asked confused.
"In the wake of the Quirk Wars and thanks to the pushing of members of my own order who are more pro capital punishment, which I am not, international law dictates that when it comes to crimes in multiple countries the country in which the most serious offense has been committed gets first crack at the accused." Mage explained. "And if the same offense is in multiple countries, in this case murder for all of them, which is only below treason and genocide in the hierarchy of serious crimes, then the country with the most serious punishment option gets first crack so in this case that means the death penalty."
"Wait what?" Marinette asked her eyes wide. "So basically, if you are wanted in multiple countries the one that will execute you if convicted gets the first shot at you? That doesn't sound great."
"It is a little controversial for sure though a compromise was met so that the rules only apply to murder, treason, and crimes against humanity like genocide." Mage said. "Other crimes like espionage and the various capital offenses in some nations for crimes that are below murder don't apply to this rule."
"That still sounds complicated and a bit much." Adrien said. "And insulting to the nation these people are captured in if they committed crimes there as well."
"It can be for sure and even today extradition can take years." Mage said. "And it gets more technical because if a US state doesn't have the death penalty but another nation like Japan does then Japan gets the first call even if that person is an American citizen as death is the more severe punishment. In addition, if a criminal is wanted in another country where the death penalty is but has fled to a non-death penalty country then the country that they are hiding in cannot demand that the death penalty be removed as an option as a reason for extradition. Again, this rule only applies to murder, treason, and crimes against humanity."
"Huh?" Marinette asked. "I don't understand."
"Basically, back before the advent there were a good few cases of people fleeing the US after committing capital offenses in death penalty states or facing it via federal crimes and going to a country where the death penalty was not just abolished but considered abhorrent." Mage said. "Mexico was the main one but the UK, Ireland, and Europe in general were also choices for these fugitives. When a fugitive ended up in these places they wouldn't extradite to the US unless the prosecutors swore to not seek the death penalty against them."
"That seems like a way to avoid the full potential repercussions for a crime." Marinette said. "Not that I agree with the death penalty or anything but still it is a bit much."
"That was exactly what some people thought." Mage said. "But the old system continued into the advent and the Quirk Wars but there was pushback on it during the wars as being seen as other countries forcing their views on America in general but other death penalty countries like Japan agreed."
"America isn't the best at accepting things like that." Adrien said.
"No, they're not." Mage agreed. "Especially capital punishment states so when the world calmed down in the wake of the wars it was made international law that countries cannot force their own views on others if they are harboring a fugitive wanted for specific crimes that carried the death penalty so now you can't flee to say England from Texas after committing capital murder and expect to only be extradited if you won't face the death penalty. Of course, as a flip side a death penalty jurisdiction can't refuse just because the crime was committed in a non-death penalty jurisdiction, and they want assurances that the jurisdiction will seek it despite it not being an option. The reverse didn't really happen though."
"All this is beyond our understanding." Marinette admitted as she tried to wrap her head around things and couldn't. "And didn't France bring back the guillotine during the Quirk Wars."
"Well, that is the French thing to do whenever there is a revolution there." Mage said which Adrien and Marinette couldn't deny. "But now that the EU has been reformed and improved, that whole Brexit thing at least ensured that the new EU after the Quirk Wars wasn't so bad that it led to the second biggest contributor leaving due to how they felt they were being treated by the European block. Of course, the EU still won't forgive England and won't let them back in but that's nothing unusual."
"England and Europe have always had a strained relationship, that was what led to Brexit in a lot of ways and Brexit only made it worse." Adrien said. "But we have digressed a lot. You were saying that if you committee a capital offense in a capital jurisdiction then that takes priority over others. Is that true even for foreign nationals?"
"It is." Mage said with a nod. "The philosophy there is that by going to another country you are subjecting yourself to their territorial jurisdiction so you can't complain about the punishments you will face for breaking those laws and your home nation can't enforce their own views on the nation you've been charged in just because you are their national. This really stemmed from a divide between western and nonwestern nations on various things and was codified in the wake of the Quirk Wars with some caveats that I won't get into. The only exception to this is if your homeland has the same level of punishment for the same crime committed there, in that case then you have to face trial first there."
"So that is why some will be extradited and some not." Adrien said.
"Correct and those who can be will be as soon as possible but the charges here will remain on the books and they will likely be tried for them after their home nation is done." Mage said. "Technology allows for that. This applies to the three Indonesians and the American as the federal government has brought capital charges against her and of course Boom will be sent back to America as well."
"Yes she's the last one left to mention." Adrien said. "What's happening to her?"
"She's been stabilized, her hand wound, facial fractures, and missing teeth weren't enough to keep her for more than a few days and has since been transported to Tartarus." Mage said. "Under full restraints of course. She alone was ranked high enough for that place. She'll be held there as the extradition is dealt with, no doubt she'll fight it but it's inevitable in the end as she's an American national, and when it is cleared the Guardians will escort the prison transport plane to Colorado where she will be detained in ADX Florence as she awaits trial in America for her crimes there. It is a forgone conclusion that she will be convicted and sentenced to death there not just at the federal level but in multiple states as well."
"I've heard of that prison." Adrien said. "Isn't it like America's supermax from before the advent. It was up there with La Santé in Paris."
"It is though Florence was considered more humane than La Santé and after the advent Florence was upgraded for Quirks." Mage said. "Now it is said that it is the only prison that rivals Tartarus for security. Boom will of course have to face charges everywhere but the best she's looking at is life without parole in the countries that don't have the death penalty so she's never seeing the light of day again."
"Good." Adrien said. "She was unhinged when I saw her and her file shows that she shouldn't be free. I can't say I agree with the death penalty, but I do like that she'll never be free again."
"Short of Tartarus being attacked causing all the inmates there to be freed she won't be." Mage said. "And we are working to get her back to the States as fast as possible because it has been too long. However, from this point on you don't need to worry about her or her underlings. This was just an update to let you know."
"And I am glad for it." Adrien said. "It wraps up my mission well now that I know that all parties, well those who survived and I am still upset that two died even if it wasn't my fault, will be punished for their crimes."
"Same with mine." Marinette said.
"Good then if that is the case you are dismissed for the night." Mage said. "I'll send you back in the morning and enjoy what you can this semester, you will need it."
"We will." Marinette said. "We're doing a hot pot party with Class B tomorrow night so getting ready for it and the party itself will be a lot of fun, we're all looking forward to it. I'm even making my uncle's special soup for it. I just need to find that special final item and I'll do so tomorrow as my uncle always added that last based on something that crossed his path that day if I recall correctly."
"Well have fun." Mage said. "I will see you soon but enjoy the night, you earned it after the good job you've done this break."
Adrien and Marinette smiled at that as they rose, bowed slightly at Mage, and then left to retire for the night and relax. It had been a busy work study and they needed this and the party tomorrow but soon the final semester of the year would begin in earnest, and they had to be ready for it and what was to come. Little did they know what was on the horizon for them as the third and final semester of the first year at U.A. dawned on them.
Ah a nice little bit of foreshadowing what is to come right at the end of this nice little catch-up chapter to wrap up the winter break. With this the Endeavor Agency arc has come to an end and we are moving first to a slight transition arc of two chapters as mentioned here with the second one being the latest chapter to be drawn from the School Briefs book (the last one that is currently in English though the 6th one comes out in February I believe and has a Valentines Day chapter it seems so I'm looking forward to it but regardless I have a special Valentine's Day one for this story). After that it is time for the special 16-chapter time skip filler arc before the Paranormal Liberation War arc. As of right now I have 10 chapters planned for this original arc (9 in order and a 10th one that will happen but not sure were yet) so I am open to suggestions for 6 more chapters during this filler arc before getting to the war arc. Anyway, that is all that I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
