Harry was finishing his routine patrol around the fields when Shelob's alarm went off. Judging from the number of bangs, he realized that whatever it was was coming from the north.

Rushing to investigate, with Padfoot running beside him, Harry began to hear the barking of wolves. He quickly crossed the bridge that extended from his farm into the forest, where the sounds were coming from.

As he got closer, he could see a few of them surrounding someone. Upon closer inspection, he could see that it was a small, naked girl that was backing into the tree.

She was a preschool-aged girl with long, silvery hair tied into pigtails. Her large blue eyes watched with fear the growling wolves that were getting closer to her.

'Is she a high elf?' wondered Harry in his mind, seeing her distinct pointy ears.

The wolves had already inflicted numerous scratches on her body as they closed in menacingly. Reacting promptly, Harry clapped his hands to halt the wolves from further aggression.

At the sound of clapping, the girl finally noticed his approach and looked in his direction with wide eyes.

"H-help, please help me," uttered a mysterious girl with a pleasant voice that seemed too mature for her age.

Sighing to himself, Harry made his way towards the cowering girl with the intention of helping her. His natural instinct to assist people—something Hermione often referred to as his "helping people thing"—came to the surface.

He had already spent a good number of months in the company of wolves and spiders. As great as they are, they couldn't speak with him, so maybe this girl would provide much-needed human interaction.

Approaching slowly to not startle the girl, Harry kept his eyes on her. He could see from the corner of his eyes that spiders started to gather high on the branches of the surrounding trees, out of the view of the girl.

She was aware that animals wouldn't attack her without reason. Harry proceeded with caution, ready to cast a spell in an instance if needed.

Realizing the importance of maintaining a calm demeanor, Harry spoke in a soothing tone as he approached the scared girl. "It's alright; you're safe now. I won't let them harm you," he said gently, kneeling down to be eye-level with her.

The wolves seemed hesitant at his intervention but remained wary, their growling diminishing slightly. With a reassuring smile, Harry extended a hand towards the girl to help her up.

The girl raised her head and looked at him with her sapphire eyes, her lips taking on a form of smirk. In the sunlight, Harry noticed the gleaming fangs that he hadn't seen before.

'Vampire' he quickly thought to himself.

As she lunged towards him, probably in hopes of draining him from blood, already anticipating that she may not be a simple girl, Harry swiftly cast a spell without hesitation, Arresto Momentum.

The vampire was frozen in mid-air, unable to move. Harry calmly stood up and, with a wave of his hand, conjured a blanket to cover her naked body, enveloping her small frame entirely.

Padfoot and the rest of the wolves, seeing their master almost attack, slowly started to make their way towards the girl, showing their own fangs at her while growling.

"Now what to do with you?" asked Harry with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Rurushi Ru wasn't expecting it to end like this when she chose to travel through the infamous Forest of Death. Surrounded by inferno wolves from all sides after a short battle.

She couldn't even call it a battle; they dominated her. In mere moments, these wolves succeeded in something that countless of her enemies couldn't do.

Ru always took pride in her magical abilities—a level of mastery that few could hope to achieve. This is why she was feared in each country she visited; not even nobles tried to earn her ire, knowing what happened to the ones that angered her. The Bloodsucking Princess was her well-earned title, after all.

The only one who could give her a challenging fight was the persistent angel who always pursued her. However, even this opponent was closely matched with Ru in terms of strength, unlike these wolves that were clearly level above her.

After dealing with irritating young nobles who mistakenly believed they could control her, she had to run. Especially as they placed a bounty on her head and that annoying angel appeared once more to try and slay Ru.

Ru thought that entering the Forest of Death would shake off her pursuer. Aware that the forest was inhabited by deadly monsters, which could be considered natural disasters in their own right if encountered anywhere else.

Bloody Vipers, Grapple Bears, Demon Spiders, or Inferno Wolves, just to name a few. Each one of them could destroy a city by themselves; it is even said that the previous Demon Lord barely managed to drive out one Demon Spider in the past.

So Ru thought that she could use the forest to either make the angel leave the chase for now or even die from the ferocious beast that lived in there. After all, the angel wasn't as good as Ru when it came to stealth.

But halfway through her journey, Ru stumbled upon an unusual sight. A small farm was right in the center of the most deadly place on the planet, as if it had been dropped there by accident.

Interest piqued, and Ru cautiously approached the farm, taking note of the vibrant flowers and well-tended vegetables that seemed out of place in such a sinister location. The entire farm was surrounded by a fence made out of logs and a dug-out moat.

Curiosity drove Ru to seek answers about this abnormal farm, a trait that had often led her into trouble. As she placed upon herself one of her strongest magics to not be detected, she started her approach towards it.

And then it happened: somehow, despite her spell, Ru was detected by the monsters of the forest that clearly protected the farm. If only one wolf would be her opponent, then maybe she would stand a chance against them, but she was approached by four of these beasts.

They made it quick, and before she knew it, she was almost out of her magic; even the clothes that she conjured disappeared from her body. Ru could do nothing as she backed away into the closest tree.

Here she was, the Bloodsucking Princess, reduced to nothing more than a small girl with barely any magic, backed into a tree. As she was thinking about how to escape such a situation, she heard footsteps approaching.

A human emerged, unassuming in appearance, dressed plainly like a peasant, with disheveled black hair and piercing emerald eyes fixed on her. His defining feature was a lightning-shaped scar arcing from his right eyebrow into his hairline.

Next to him stood an even larger wolf than the ones that surrounded her, baring its sharp fangs in her direction while growling.

"H-help, please help me," Ru implored, endeavoring to draw him nearer. She needed to portray herself as an innocent girl ensnared in an unfortunate situation.

Her plan: lull the unsuspecting man close, then strike, drawing his blood to restore her waning magic and facilitate a swift escape from the encroaching creatures.

Ru just needed to wait for the right moment to strike when he would be close enough to ensure the wolves could not interfere.

She saw a man visibly sigh to himself and begin to slowly move in her direction. "It's alright; you're safe now. I won't let them harm you," spoke the stranger with a tone that clearly tried to calm her down.

Kneeling down to her level and extending his hand to help her up, he unwittingly became vulnerable to Ru's attack. Seizing the opportunity, Ru swiftly lunged with a smirk on her face, confident that the man's kindness had granted her a chance to escape.

In mid-jumper, her body suddenly froze, and Ru could not move even a single muscle. As the man stood up with disappointment written on his face, with the wave of his hand, a large blanket appeared and enveloped her naked body.

'H-how?!' thought alarmed Ru, 'I didn't feel any magic in him!'.

"Now what to do with you?" the stranger's voice dramatically pondered, with a tinge of amusement.

With piercing emerald eyes fixed on her, he awaited her response. The inferno wolf beside him tensed, poised to attack and tear into her throat without hesitation. "Well?" he inquired, raising an eyebrow as he soothingly laid a hand on the wolf's head, the obedient animal responding to its master instantly.

"Please wait; I don't mean any harm." began Ru, "I am not an enemy."

"You just tried to attack me, and yet you are not my enemy?" asked the man.

"I need blood to survive," she tried to reason. "I am low on my magic any longer, and I may die from lack of it." Ru needed to be honest; he had her in a vulnerable position, one that no one had managed before.

"Hmm," the stranger hummed to himself. "If I release you now, will you attack me?"

"N-no, kind sir," stammered Ru. "I promise to cause you no harm."

The man arched an eyebrow, considering her words carefully. He slowly nodded and gestured for his wolf to stand down. The tension in the air eased slightly as Ru felt the release of her body. She cautiously took a step back.

"Thank you," she whispered softly, still on edge.

The man observed her intently, his gaze unwaveringly studying her. "Can you drink any blood?" he began after a moment.

"What?" stammered Ru, not expecting such a question from him.

"My blood is quite unique," he started, unsure. "I'm not going into details, but if you want to try, I will give you some of it to regain your strength at your own risk."

Ru didn't know what to think about the offer, especially considering the unusual circumstances. She stared at the man, assessing his motives while trying to comprehend the implications of his proposal. As her thoughts raced, the wolf beside him let out a low growl, making her heart skip a beat.

The intensity of the situation hung heavy in the air, and Ru could almost taste the lingering remnants of fear. After a moment of tense silence, she mustered the courage to respond, her voice barely above a whisper.

"You are not scared of me attacking you with regained strength?" she asked.

"You may try, but Padfoot and the rest of the pack will finish the job then." The stranger laughed, indicating with his head to the black wolf that was next to him.

Saying his piece, he stretched his right arm forward clearly as a proposition to her so she could take a bite.

Feeling both grateful for his offer and wary due to the circumstances of their meeting, Ru hesitated for only a brief moment before finally deciding to accept it, despite all the reservations gnawing at her mind. "Alright," she agreed, gulping nervously as adrenaline spiked through her veins.

Ru leaned in gently, wanting to minimize any potential pain inflicted yet unable to completely suppress her vampiric nature. "Here goes nothing," she murmured under her breath.

She took the man's hand in her own and slowly sank her teeth into his wrist, careful not to inflict any unnecessary pain. The metallic tang of blood filled her senses, momentarily overwhelming her with an intense satisfaction.

As she drank, the man didn't even make any moves to stop her. With each swallow, Ru could feel her strength returning, the intoxicating rush of energy reinvigorating her weary body. All she could focus on was the sweet crimson salvation pulsing through her veins; she never tasted the blood that held so much power and was as delicious as this man.

Ru continued to feed on him, losing herself in the blissful feeling that the blood provided her. The vampire was getting quite full thanks to all the blood that she consumed, and the only reason that she stopped feasting upon the man was that the wolf got impatient with her and barked as a signal for her to stop.

She quickly retracted her fangs from the man's wrist, letting out a moan of satisfaction from her lips as her cheeks blushed at an unexpected sound she let out. Ru took a step backwards, looking at the amused man who started to examine his wound.

From what she could see, he didn't even look tired, despite all the blood she had taken, she took more than normal man should have in his veins. Two circular wounds that she left on him even started to close with small smoke coming out of them.

Seeing this, her eyes widened. 'He is not a human.' she thought to herself, trying to understand what the stranger was. Ru didn't know what to think her vampire senses were telling her that he was a normal human, and they had never been wrong before.

A flicker of fear coursed through Ru's veins before being replaced by intrigue; there wasn't much about this situation that made sense anymore anyway. She eyed him curiously now while taking another step back, cautious but still captivated by this mystery.

"What are you?" Her voice was hinting at equal parts accusation and fascination.

He stopped paying attention to his now healed arm, and his emerald eyes were once again focused on her. "I'm just a simple wizard, but you probably should take care of your own wounds."

After a brief moment, Ru harnessed her magic once again. In a flash of violet light, she healed all the wounds on her body. The wind began to swirl around her, carrying leaves in its current.

She grew taller, and her body started to develop curves, transitioning from a preschool girl into a more mature female figure.

The black gothic dress draped elegantly over her figure, a stark contrast against the paleness of her skin. Its intricate lace detailing added an air of mystery and sophistication to her ensemble, while the flowing fabric whispered softly with each movement she made. The dress seemed to possess a certain allure, drawing gazes toward her with its dark beauty.

"Impressive," said the man before her. "Now that you are no longer dying anymore, mind telling me what you are doing in here?"

Ru's eyes narrowed, a mix of defiance and determination shining in their depths, now that she regained her strength. She considered her words carefully before responding, being mindful of the wolf's presence.

As she started speaking truthfully, "I was passing through the forest and came across your farm," she recounted. "When I attempted to approach, wolves appeared, and seeing them as a threat, I defended myself. It was not my intention to upset you or your animals."

The man studied Ru intently, his gaze unwavering as she narrated the events that had led her to his farm. "And why exactly were you traveling through the forest without any baggage?"

"I don't have anything with me because I need to run in a hurry," she began, keeping her eyes locked with his. "Some pesky nobles started to make problems for me, and I had to leave everything behind in order to escape their grasp. Please, believe me, I mean no harm and only seek solace from those who wish me ill."

"So you need a place to hide for some time?" asked the man.

Ru's eyes softened slightly, grateful that the man seemed to consider her story. She nodded in response to his question, a sense of relief washing over her at the possibility of finding temporary refuge. "Yes," she acknowledged, "if you could spare me shelter for a short while, I would be forever grateful. I promise not to cause any trouble during my stay."

The man paused, assessing her once more, before finally nodding in agreement. "Okay," he conceded, "you may stay here until you feel safe enough to continue your journey. But you will help me with the harvest and at any sign of deception you will be asked to leave immediately."

"Now follow me." He began walking away in the direction of the farm. "Oh, and my name is Harry."

The wolves gazed at her for a moment before obediently trailing their master. Ru regained her composure and trailed behind the pack toward her temporary shelter, pondering what awaited her in this enigmatic place.

Harry guided a vampire named Rurushi Ru, as she introduced herself, through his fields. He observed her as she gazed around with eyes brimming with curiosity. Whenever she examined a new crop up close, he noticed a sparkle of fascination in her eyes, as if she had never seen these vegetables and fruits before.

He observed as she stopped at each crop and asked questions with a voice filled with wonder. Rurushi Ru's pale skin contrasted with the vibrant colors of the crops, creating a picturesque scene as they strolled through the fields. Harry patiently answered each of her questions, enjoying the opportunity to share his knowledge of farming with someone so eager to learn.

Rurushi Ru's amazement at the bounty of the fields was evident in the way she delicately touched the leaves and examined the ripe produce. Her ethereal presence brought an otherworldly charm to the rustic setting, almost as if she were a character from a storybook come to life.

The midday sun cast a warm glow over the landscape, adding to the enchantment of their excursion. Harry found himself captivated by her genuine interest and took pleasure in unveiling the secrets of his agricultural practices to his new vampire acquaintance.

As they sauntered through the rows of crops, a sense of camaraderie blossomed between Harry and Ru, bridging the gap between their different worlds through a shared appreciation for the beauty of nature.

Initially uncertain about getting involved with her, he eventually decided to let her stay with him for a while due to feeling lonely and being able to empathize with her struggle against controlling nobles.

He was confident that if she attempted anything, he could rely on wolves and spiders for protection. Currently, Padfoot was walking beside him, keeping a close eye on the girl, while he could also see some spiders crawling along the bridges above the fields.

"I can't believe that there is a place like this in the middle of this forest," she laughed, running to the next field. "Are all these crops yours? I have never seen this plant before."

Harry could see her crouching next to tomatoes, looking at the fruit, studying it as if searching for some hidden secret within its round, red skin.

"Hey, what's this?" She looked back at him and said, "The one here with the red fruit; they are very pretty. Are they decorative plants?"

"They are tomatoes. Have you never seen them?" Harry raised an eyebrow at her.

"No, this is the first time." Ru answered.

Harry wondered how she had never seen such a common plant before. He took a deep breath and said, "Tomatoes are not only beautiful to look at, but they are also very delicious when eaten. Want to try eating one?"

Ru hesitated for a moment before nodding her head. "I would love to try one now."

He crouched next to one of them and willed AFT to appear in his hand. Using its scissors form, he easily cut down a fruit and held it to the vampire.

"You can eat them just like that?" Ru questioned him, looking at the fruit in his hand.

"Absolutely," Harry replied with a smile. "Tomatoes are delicious on their own, juicy and full of flavor."

She carefully took it from him and held it in both of her hands, getting a closer look. The vibrant red color and the juicy texture of the tomato in her hands fascinated her. She took a bite, and her eyes widened in surprise at the burst of flavor.

She took another bite, savoring the combination of sweetness and acidity. Harry watched her with a pleased expression, glad to share the fruits of his hard work with someone else.

Padfoot, standing next to him, watched Ru with jealousy evident in his expression. Harry laughed as he cut down another tomato and tossed it towards the wolf, who snatched it out of the air instantly.

Padfoot's excitement was palpable as he devoured the tomato with gusto, his tail wagging happily. Ru couldn't help but chuckle at the wolf's enthusiasm.

"The texture is strange, but," she said between the bites, "it tastes wonderful! It's so juicy!"

As Harry watched Ru enjoy the tomato, he felt a sense of accomplishment at introducing her to something new. The farm had been his sanctuary, a place where he could escape the chaos and manipulations of his old world and started to build something that truly belonged to him, seeing someone enjoying fruits of his hard work brings a smile to his face.

"Hey, I want to see your other crops." Said Ru with a light blush on her cheeks.

"Sure," replied Harry, getting up and starting to lead her in the direction of the cornfield.

—-xXx—-

As the sun began to set, Harry wiped the sweat from his forehead. He had spent the whole day with the vampire, showing her around his fields and even gathering a small harvest. They both found joy in simple pleasures like enjoying freshly picked corn and taking their time with the harvest while conversing.

Harry quickly came to realize that Ru loved anything that was sweet, as she truly enjoyed the strawberries that they picked together, taking an immediate liking to them almost as much as she did to tomatoes.

He also learned more about Ru. She told him that she was a famous mage and pharmacist, which was a main reason why the young and naive nobles of the Kingdom of Golsen tried to gain control over her.

After the nobles failed in their attempt, the survivors placed a bounty on her head, attracting her nemesis to come and chase her down. Harry was astonished to discover that angels in this world were real.

The more they chatted, the more Harry realized Ru was not only a pharmacist but also an expert botanist who loved anything to do with growing plants and herbs. She explained how she could make potions that healed wounds and diseases quickly.

The depth of her knowledge amazed Harry as she spoke about her travels to exotic lands in search of rare ingredients for her concoctions. Ru spoke wistfully about her time spent studying the healing properties of different wildflowers and mushrooms in distant forests.

Harry couldn't help but admire her dedication to her craft, feeling that he could introduce her to the potion's books that he had in his vault. He may never be master potioneer, thanks to a certain teacher, but maybe she could use them to further polish her art.

While they chatted further, Harry recounted some personal stories. He avoided revealing his origin from another world, but instead described Hogwarts as the magical school where he cultivated his passion for magic and its capabilities.

Ru was intrigued by Harry's tales of magic. She listened intently, her eyes gleaming with interest, as he described the wonders of Hogwarts and the spells he had mastered. The bond between them grew stronger as they worked on the fields, exchanged stories, and shared their love for the magical arts.

Ru expressed admiration for Harry's adventurous spirit and his willingness to explore new realms of knowledge. Harry, in turn, felt a deep sense of connection with Ru, realizing that despite their different backgrounds, they shared a common passion for magic and discovery, and as well, they wanted to be mostly left alone by others.

With the work for the day done, they chose to make their way to the big tree. Harry led the way, with Ru going next to him while holding a large basket full of potatoes that he planned to give to Shelob.

He had not yet introduced her to spiders and planned to do so shortly before preparing dinner for the two of them.

"What are we waiting for?" questioned the vampire when they stopped before the big tree.

"Ah, we will give these potatoes to Shelob." Harry easily answered.

"Shelob?" questioned Ru while tilting her head.

Before Harry could answer who he was talking about, Shelob made her way down from her branch. When Ru saw the large spider land next to it and raise one of its legs in greeting, she immediately lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

Harry blinked a few times upon seeing this; he didn't expect a famous vampire mage to be scared of some spiders. Shelob looked with interest at the new resident of their farm, while Padfoot barked at the large spider with greeting.

"Don't take it to yourself," began Harry, trying to console the spider. "Not everyone is good with your kind. I once had a friend who would not only lose consciousness but would also shit himself while doing so."

Shelob looked at him with all her eight eyes, as if questioning if that was true.

Picking the fallen potatoes back into the basket and levitating Ru's body, he led the animals back to his house to start making dinner for their small gathering.

'Maybe I could take some wine from the vault to drink for dinner,' Harry thought. 'Weren't vampires known for liking red wine?'

Response to reviews:

Juan Antonio Dircio Quezada, nealrm, frankieu, James Birdsong: Thank you for your kind words. Hope you enjoyed this chapter too!

Sandwich-kun the 3rd: Thank you for your kind words. I hope this chapter is easier for you to read and that with more writing, I will improve as a writer.

Dmdmdm: Thank you for your kind words. I will keep it similar to the nonbiri with a few added or expanded side plots like Britain, Lamia (Harry Parseltounge will be interesting for them), Quiditich Turnament, etc.

Uvuvwevwevwe Onyetenyevwe Ugwe: Thank you for your kind words. And maybe I will use it later in the story with Harry's kids; at the start, he would have a problem building such a large thing by himself without the help of the elves, and the big tree is home to Shelob (Zabuton).

Alexis: Thank you for your kind words. And Harry will be quite different than the original Village Chef; for one VC in the original, he let his children mostly be with their mothers, and Harry will likely want to spend more time with all the kids, even the ones from 'concubines'. And other villagers will know mostly from the start that Harry is OP; they cannot feel his magic thanks to the Invisibility Cloak protecting him now 24/7, but he will have his moments (like stopping weakened Ru with one spell).
