A/N: sithlorde1988 here, with the next chapter (yes NEXT chapter, this isn't a one-shot anymore. SURPRISE!) of A Mine Is A Terrible Thing to Waste Redux (Rewrite). After some careful thinking, I think I have a good idea of the way the rest of the boots will go. And this will probably go all the way to the end of TDROTI, so yeah that's a thing. Surprisingly, I had several people favorite/follow this story, but no one left a review on it. Probably because more people wanted to see Pokemon: Shuffled Journeys get an update, which it has in fact gotten, two of them, since the first chapter of AMIATTTWRR (a bit of a long abbreviation yes, but shorter than the full title still) went up. That said, hopefully everyone enjoys the story! On with the next chapter!
Chapter 2- The Terrible Island of Dr. McLean
(Recap, narrated by Chris McLean)
"Last time on Total Drama Revenge Of The Island, our final nine campers were faced with their next challenge: go into an abandoned mine to retrieve some lost Gilded Chris statues, one for each team. However, some campers found more than they bargained for in the mine *clips play of Dawn falling through a hole in the ground, landing underground, being found by and nursed back to consciousness, more or less, by Ezekiel who then forms an unlikely friendship of sorts with Dawn* and others were too busy trying to save themselves to worry about their teammates. However, in the end, it was Dawn who ended up pulling an unlikely win out of nowhere for the Rats when she revealed that she had found not only her team's statue, but that of the Maggots as well. Apparently it was a gift from Ezekiel. Go figure. *clips of Zoey, Sam, Mike and Cameron saving Dawn from the mine, Ezekiel giving Dawn a wrapped bundle as a gift, Dawn being carried out of the mine by Mike and Zoey, and Dawn opening up the bundle to find the missing statues plays* However, when it came time for elimination for the Maggots, some REAL drama ensued, as initially the votes appeared to be keyed to sending Scott packing 3-2, only for our resident evil ginger to whip a statue of his own out to save himself, much to the frustration and dismay of Zoey who was instead sent packing, but she wouldn't be hurled alone, as Sam was outed for getting his games back as well as getting the other team to help him rescue Dawn, prompting me to disqualify him from the game, despite many protests. *clips play of Scott initially being handed the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom, then revealing his idol which then caused it to be tossed at Zoey instead, who got a burn hole in her shirt from it, Sam being outed and disqualified, and half of the Maggots AND Rats protesting Sam's disqualification as well as Zoey and Sam being hurled off the island via the Hurl of Shame play* So now with seven campers remaining, what will our campers face next? Can the Rats keep their apparent winning ways up, or will the Maggots find a way to bounce back and keep the Rats taking each other out? And can the Rats manage NOT to lose a player this time if they do win? Find out all this and more on today's episode of! TOTAL! DRAMA! REVENGE...OF THE ISLAND!"
(end recap and intro sequence plays)
(Maggots cabin)
"Wow, who knew that Scott had the idol the whole time?" Cameron asked Mike, who shrugged, still in shock from Zoey getting eliminated as a result of their failed attempt to get Scott out. Cameron saw the depressed look on Mike's face and frowned.
"Mike, would Zoey really want you to go to pieces just because she got the short end of the stick when Scott revealed his idol?" Cameron asked Mike, a rare glare on his face as he looked at Mike, who blinked then looked back at Cameron.
"No, she probably wouldn't. But if we couldn't stop Scott with a numbers advantage, how do we do so now with even numbers? Got any ideas for that, Cameron?" Mike asked Cameron, genuinely interested to hear whatever answer Cameron may have had to that question.
"Honestly Mike? That's a good question. I hate to say it, but for now our best bet may be to just try and win however many more challenges there are until merge, of which there shouldn't be more than two since there's only 3 Rats left versus our 4 Maggots. And I doubt very much Chris would let a whole team be annhilated pre-merge." Cameron replied. Mike seemed to ponder Cameron's words seriously. Eventually, Mike sighed before nodding.
"You make a good point, Cameron. And maybe you're right, but I feel like we're still fighting an uphill battle in getting rid of Scott. And believe you me, he WILL be gotten rid of for taking Zoey out of the game with his idol. I owe that much to Zoey at least." Mike said, as what seemed like an uncharacteristically dark expression briefly flashed over Mike's face before it went away as quickly as it appeared, leaving Cameron confused and slightly worried about Mike.
(Confessional Cam- Maggots)
Cameron- "Was it me, or did that seem like an almost evil expression on Mike's face just a bit ago when he spoke of eliminating Scott? I worry that Mike could take this newfound hatred of and vendetta against Scott to dangerous extremes. And with only a few of us left, that's not a smart move to make." Cameron said uneasily, hoping he had just imagined what he'd seen on Mike's face before.
Mike (?) - "Cameron may be right that our best bet is to try to win our way through to the merge, but given Scott's tendencies, I wouldn't put it past that weasel to start throwing challenges again just to ensure either of us is out before the merge if not both. So if it comes to it, we might have to take some extreme measures to ensure Scott doesn't win." Mike said, gasping as he so often does before shifting into what appeared to be an entirely new personality.
"And we will ensure that Scott loses, one way or another. That fool will rue the day he crossed me. Soon enough he, along with all the other fools here, will feel the wrath of the Malevolent One!" The unknown personality of Mike said, before deciding to try out an evil laugh, which while not on the level of say Heather or Alejandro was still pretty good for a first-time villain. Eventually, Mike got control back though.
"That was weird. I've never had control taken from me like that before. I hope that doesn't mean that HE's back. The last time HE took control, things ended really badly for me. Now, I may be bummed out that Zoey lost, and depressed, but am I really about to go that far to pursue vengeance against Scott?" Mike asked the camera, confused.
Ann Maria- "I don't know what was going on just now, but that's the first time I've heard Mike speak like that before. Did Vito get darker and edgier? I'm not sure if I want that to be the case or not. Either way, this isn't good for Scott. Not good for him at all." Ann Maria said, a rare look of concern on her face as she pulled her can of hairspray out and gave her hair a quick spray with it.
Scott- "Well, we got rid of one of those three, even if it cost me my idol. Hopefully we either merge soon or Chris decides to put another idol out to find. Otherwise, I could be in trouble if we lose again, even with Ann Maria on my side. As much as I hate to say it, maybe I should give my saboteur's tactics a rest for the time being." Scott said, oddly contemplative after his near-miss at the previous campfire ceremony.
(end Confessional Cam)
(Rats cabin)
"Wow, how about that double boot last night? Who saw that coming?" Jo asked Lightning while the two were alone in the Rats cabin, Dawn having wandered off outside somewhere to meditate as she tends to do, or so the two thought. But they weren't concerned with the errant moonchild at the moment.
"I didn't, that's for sure. Luckily Scott had the idol or he'd be out right now, and Lightning would've been out a likely ally. And I don't like setbacks. Nuh-uh, I most certainly do not." Lightning replied, his arms crossed and a rare look of contemplation on his face as he looked at Jo.
"I agree. However, I have to wonder if you're not the only one Scott is schmoozing for votes. I mean Zoey had TWO votes against her according to Chris not one, so either Cameron, Mike or Ann Maria had to have voted the same way as Scott, likelier Cameron or Ann Maria since I don't see Mike betraying Zoey for any reason." Jo said contemplatively. Lightning thought about it before speaking up again.
"If I had to guess, I'd put money it was Ann Maria. After all, you said yourself she was kind of by herself while you were a Maggot. So it wouldn't surprise me to think Scott reached out to her for an alliance, and probably got it if the 3-2 vote was any factor. Sam being out too was a bonus though, to be sure. I wasn't looking forward to having to get us past elimination if we had lost that last challenge, which thanks to Dawn we didn't." Lightning said, surprising Jo with his praise for Dawn.
"You know, Jockstrap, I have to say I think that's the first time you've actually praised Dawn for something. Maybe you have a higher opinion of her than you thought?" Jo said uncertainly as Lightning actually laughed out loud at Jo's statement.
"Don't get it twisted, I may acknowledge that Dawn was a big help last challenge, but she's still a weirdo. That fact hasn't changed Jo." Lightning said pointedly. Jo shrugged.
"That's a fair point." Jo said before a thought occurred to her. "Wait, how could she be meditating if she hurt herself in that fall last challenge?" Jo said, remembering a certain detail of the previous challenge.
"Odds are Chef gave her something for it to make it feel better. I saw the two heading for the infirmary after the challenge." Lightning replied to Jo, shrugging.
"Perhaps, but shouldn't she still be in bed making sure her ankle is better for the challenge just in case?" Jo remarked, causing Lightning to scoff.
"If anything, that gives us more reason to get rid of her if we do lose again. Worst case we can try to get her med-evaced so we survive another round." Lightning said, nodding at Jo.
"True. But what're the odds that Dawn would get hurt two challenges in a row though?" Jo asked uncertainly. Lightning merely shrugged his shoulders.
(Meanwhile, in the abandoned mine from the previous episode)
"Ezekiel, are you still in here?" Dawn asked, holding a lantern in one hand, the other hand being leaned against a wall to steady her as she tried to find Ezekiel to thank him for the help in the previous challenge. Initially, there was no reply until Ezekiel eventually came out of the shadows, a look of surprise on his face as he saw Dawn.
"Dawn, why are you back here? Zeke thought you'd be back at camp by now?" Ezekiel asked Dawn in confusion. Dawn giggled as she looked at Ezekiel.
"Oh silly Zeke. I came here to thank you for helping me before. As you can see, I'm much better than I was previously, even though I still have to steady myself since my ankle isn't quite 100% yet after I sprained it in the fall. But I had to come see you again to make sure you were okay after last challenge." Dawn said, carefully approaching Ezekiel before surprising both herself AND Ezekiel by carefully giving the now only semi-feral ex-contestant a hug, closing her eyes as she leaned into the hug, not seeing the embarrassed look on Ezekiel's face or the color lightly dusting both of his cheeks at Dawn hugging him. Eventually, Ezekiel returned the hug, gently wrapping his arms around her carefully so as not to dig his still claw-like hands into her. Eventually Ezekiel trusted himself to speak again.
"Not that Zeke minds, but did Dawn really come all the way here just to thank Zeke?" Ezekiel asked Dawn, who blinked but sighed and shook her head in the negative to Ezekiel's question.
"I didn't just come here to thank you, though that was part of it. I also came to see if you'd given my suggestion from before any thought." Dawn eventually said to Ezekiel, find herself oddly content in Ezekiel's arms despite not knowing him that long. Ezekiel frowned as he looked at Dawn.
"Which suggestion Dawn refer to? Zeke not remember." Ezekiel replied. Dawn smiled, not moving from her current position as she replied to Ezekiel.
"The one about you getting help to get your full humanity back. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind you as you are, but I can't help but feel you're not entirely content or happy as you currently are. And I'm sure you miss your normal self at times even if you don't have a lot of good memories of being non-feral." Dawn said to Ezekiel, having subconsciously read the not-as-feral prairie boy's aura while she hugged him to get the insight she'd shared with Ezekiel. Ezekiel blinked having forgotten about that.
"Oh, that suggestion. Zeke think much thoughts on it, but Zeke not sure how Dawn expect Zeke to get off island to get help without Chris knowing." Ezekiel finally said after a brief period of silence, suggesting that possibly Dawn wasn't the only one enjoying the duo's current situation. Unbeknownst to either of them, Dawn hadn't been alone when she went into the mine.
It turned out Chris had in fact seen the footage from the previous episode between Dawn and Ezekiel and asked Chef to follow Dawn the next time she tried to go into the mine, in case they could capture Zeke and either use him as a challenge prop or somehow force him out of the game and off the island for good. But as of the moment, Dawn was enjoying being in Ezekiel's arms, however brief the moment might be. Dawn eventually smiled and looked up into Ezekiel's eyes as she answered his question.
"Honestly, I hadn't thought everything through when I made that suggestion, but I think if you let yourself get caught, there's a possibility Chris would Hurl of Shame you off of the island, and then you can just swim towards shore, hopefully finding the mainland or at least wherever the other eliminated players ended up after their Hurls of Shame this season. Unless you don't mind being in your current state that is? I'm not gonna force you to get help if you're not wanting it." Dawn eventually said to Ezekiel, smiling softly up at him as she explained her idea to him.
Ezekiel opened his mouth, presumably to argue with Dawn's last statement, when her idea caught him by surprise. It was crazy, but possibly crazy enough it could work. Yet, Ezekiel couldn't shake the feeling that it wouldn't be nearly so easy as Dawn made it sound. But if she was right, Ezekiel could get the help Dawn wanted him to get so he could return to his normal self. Ezekiel smiled, gently tucking some stray hairs behind Dawn's ear as he let himself briefly look into her eyes before he replied to her.
"Honestly? Zeke getting used to this form, but if it make Dawn feel better, Zeke look into getting help to get back to normal. After all, Dawn only one for most part to be nice to Zeke, so if going back to normal makes Dawn comfortable with Zeke, Zeke look into getting help." Ezekiel said, forcing himself to look away rather than letting himself be lost in Dawn's eyes. Dawn was glad Ezekiel had chosen that moment to look away, otherwise he might've seen the color that dusted her face at Ezekiel's words to her. She gave herself an internal shake to focus herself. After all, she'd only come here to reason with Ezekiel, not end up in his arms, even though she appears to have done both. But she knew she still had challenges to do before she could let herself enjoy her current situation more. Yet, Dawn found herself surprisingly reluctant to leave Ezekiel's arms. However, the choice was taken away from her when she heard footsteps approaching the area she and Ezekiel were in prompting her to gasp as she turned to Ezekiel.
"Zeke, you need to run! I think either Chris or Chef might've followed me here without my knowing it! I'd rather they not catch you just yet in case they try to keep you from getting back to normal. So run! Hurry!" Dawn said, reluctantly getting up out of Ezekiel's arms, much to her disappointment. Had she looked at Ezekiel as she got up, she'd have seen a similar look of disappointment on his face as well but it would've been only briefly there before Dawn's words registered.
"Dawn be okay on her own? Dawn no need Zeke to get her to surface again?" Ezekiel asked Dawn, who sighed, but shook her head.
"No. As much as that sounds delightful, I don't want to risk you getting captured by whoever followed me. At least not yet. Maybe once you're more recovered then standing up to Chris might be an option, but not in your state. He'd be too likely to try and manipulate you somehow." Dawn said, frowning as she knew that would be exactly the sort of thing the host would do. Ezekiel nodded to Dawn.
"Then Zeke go now. Dawn be careful getting back to camp." Ezekiel said, disappearing into the shadows quickly. And not a moment too soon either, since the moment he was out of sight, a net could be seen flying forward, eventually landing on and snaring an unsuspecting Dawn in its' grasp, pulling her out of the mine even as she struggled to get free, her protests being very muffled by the thick walls of the net. Unbeknownst to the operator of the aforementioned snare net as well as Dawn, Ezekiel had seen the whole thing and discreetly made his way to a secret exit of the mines, making plans to escape the island and get better so he could come back to save Dawn. He may not have known her long, but Ezekiel already found himself getting attached to the petite blonde aura reading moonchild in spite of himself.
(Outside of the mine)
"All campers to the bonfire for your next challenge. Repeat, all campers to the bonfire for your next challenge. That is all." Chris' voice rang over the intercom, prompting a mix of groans (Mike, Jo and surprisingly Ann Maria), intrigue (Scott and Lightning) and resigned worry (Cameron) as the six campers made their way to the bonfire as instructed, none of them aware that one of their number was missing due to being mistaken for the only semi-feral ex-contestant hiding in the mines and thus snared in a net. Once the six were at the bonfire, Chris grinned at them, frowning briefly as he noted Dawn's conspicuous absence from the group, but then addressed the group anyways.
"Good afternoon campers! I see one of you is missing but we'll start the challenge anyways! As you can see behind me, Chef went out this morning and bagged a really dangerous animal, which is in the crate behind me. Be warned, he's possibly dangerous due to his time as a feral. So he might be a bit violent and aggressive." Chris said, not hearing the muffled shouts of mixed hurt, surprise and desperation coming from the moonchild trapped inside due to Chef's blunder. Mike and Cameron exchanged shocked glances, being the only two left from the group that went into the mine who knew who Chris likely meant (not counting Dawn who was currently missing as far as everyone, Chris included, knew) so they knew he was mistaken about his statements, but they doubted they'd convince anyone else of that other than maybe Jo but both knew that was a pretty big maybe.
"And this crate has WHAT to do with our next challenge, pray tell Chris?" Jo asked, her arms crossed as she frowned at the host.
"Glad you asked, Jo. It has EVERYTHING to do with the challenge since Chef here messed up! Yes, I know what you did Chef. How you DIDN'T bag the feral one as I told you to. But that begs the question. If you didn't bag Ezekiel, who DID you bag? That we'll find out AFTER the challenge when one of YOU brings me Ezekiel so we can capture him and send him off the island once and for all. If he wants to be feral so badly let him. As far as I'm concerned, the little ingrate deserves it after nearly getting everyone killed last season, TWICE. So good riddance to homeschooled trash." Chris said, shrugging. He either didn't see or chose to ignore the mostly outraged looks on the six present campers' faces (as well as the moonchild still trapped in the crate) as he looked at the campers.
"So your challenge, in case you didn't get it the first time, is to go out and bring me the feral one formerly known as Ezekiel. The first of you to bring him back here to me will win immunity for his or her team while the other team sends someone home in the most intense ceremony yet. So good luck and get going!" Chris said to the six, who darted off to hunt for Ezekiel. Chris then frowned as he looked at Chef, a thought occurring to him.
"You know Chef, I recall seeing footage from last challenge showing Dawn in the same mine Ezekiel's supposed to be in. You don't suppose she was there this morning when you were supposed to bag Ezekiel, do you? Because I don't think I need to tell you how much hot water both of us would be in if it turns out you accidentally endangered one of the contestants with your incompetence. So on the off chance that IS the case, I suggest we get rid of this crate and get an empty one to bag Ezekiel in. If Dawn IS in there, well then that's her fault for being the one to get snared sneaking off to help the feral kid, which should really have been against the rules. Now help me lift this crate on to the Hurl of Shame before the others get back." Chris said to Chef, who shrugged, helping to lift the crate.
However, inside of said crate was a very terrified moonchild who by this point was now banging on the walls of the crate, trying to break it open before Chris and Chef could get to eject her from the game needlessly. However, Chris and Chef couldn't hear the bangs over their conversation. Luckily for Dawn though, a certain not-as-feral friend (for lack of a better term) of hers was following the hosting duo in an attempt to save Dawn who he'd guessed might be in the crate.
(meanwhile, with the other six campers)
"How did Chris find out about Ezekiel, I wonder? I don't think Dawn would let herself be caught hanging out with him...would she?" Cameron asked Mike, who shrugged.
"No clue. We've not had her on our team so I couldn't say for sure. Too bad Sam got disqualified last episode or we could've gotten his opinion. Not that he probably knows her that much better. But I do know at the least that Dawn could appreciate, at least to some extent, how much of a potential danger Scott could be. But that's for later. For now, we focus on winning." Mike replied, and Cameron nodded enthusiastically in agreement. As they walked, the duo was unaware of said potential danger following them, intrigued.
(Confessional Cam-Maggots)
Mike- "But seriously, why is it all the good people here are getting screwed over? First Sam and Zoey get removed from the game last episode, now Dawn's missing? Why couldn't it have been Scott instead?" Mike asked the camera, throwing his hands up in frustration, gasping as one of his personalities took over briefly.
"In my day, only the delinquents and the bad had it this rough." Chester said before gasping as another persona took over.
"I gotta say, I agree with Mike on this one. Scott's as big a weasel as they come. And being a bit of a slippery person myself, I'd know a thing or two about weasels. I just hope the Malevolent One doesn't get free over this, or we're ALL in trouble." Vito said, before Mike took back over.
"That was different. I think both Chester and Vito took over for a moment. Funnily enough, I haven't seen Svetlana or Manitoba much in awhile. Hopefully they're okay." Mike said with a concerned expression on his face.
Scott- "Who knew the bubble boy was the logical one of us? Maybe he's a bigger threat than I gave him credit for? Plus he seems to be helping Mike out. I think he might just have to be the next to go if we lose again. Maybe." Scott mused, frowning as he stared at the camera, seemingly using the shark's tooth he kept around his neck to carve away at a piece of wood. "Luckily I still gots my whittling skills." Scott added.
Cameron- "This game is becoming a mess! First Sam and Zoey get eliminated, and now Dawn's missing. What's next, Mike going AWOL and turning evil?" Cameron said, saying the last part jokingly before his eyes widened with fear.
"I was joking about that last part, for the record. Please don't let me be right about that. Scott and Lightning are bad enough. I don't think this island needs another villain." Cameron added as he stared wide-eyed at the camera.
(end Confessional Cam-Maggots)
(over with the Rats)
"So we're the only Rats left for now with Dawn missing, it seems. You thinking what I'm thinking, Jockstrap?" Jo asked Lightning, speaking for one of the first times since Chris revealed that Dawn was missing. Lightning frowned, shrugging.
"I dunno. Are you sha-thinking that we might both be sha-screwed if we lose?" Lightning replied, uncertain what Jo was thinking. Jo facepalmed.
"No, Jockstrap! Although that IS also true. I was thinking, maybe we can use Dawn's disappearance to ensure you and I survive the campfire if we lose. Possibly we convince Chris to just eliminate Dawn since she's already missing. That way only one player has to leave today." Jo replied, making Lightning blink but grin as he liked the idea.
"You know, that's probably the best idea you've ever had, man. Lightning approves. But we should still try to find not only Dawn but Ezekiel too, so maybe we can win again and force another Maggot out of the game. That'd be the best-case scenario." Lightning said. Before Jo could reply, a green-skinned person dashed past Jo and Lightning, the two of them just barely registering that they'd been ran past before realizing who it likely was and giving chase, hoping to bag immunity for the Rats again.
(Back with the other Maggots)
"So, what's your plan to keep us safe if we happen to lose again, Scott?" Ann Maria asked her ally as they walked around looking for Ezekiel. Scott got a contemplative look on his face before looking at Ann Maria.
"Honestly, I feel like winning is our best bet here. Though if we do lose, I think we should go after Cameron. One, he's not Mike so I'm sure you're already for that, and two I think he might be too smart for his own good. But ideally I'd prefer we win this challenge if possible." Scott replied to Ann Maria's surprise.
"That's true. But with both Dawn and Jo's skills, it might not be a sure thing that we win." Ann Maria pointed out.
"True, however Dawn's not exactly available at the moment to mess us up, now is she?" Scott said, referring to Dawn's current status of being missing. Ann Maria shrugged.
"Fair point. Now where could Ezekiel have gotten to?" Ann Maria said, as right at that moment almost as if on cue, a green blur shot past Scott and Ann Maria followed by two others who Scott and Ann Maria could tell were Jo and Lightning, prompting them to chase after the others, hoping to get a win for the Maggots.
(Back with Mike and Cameron)
"So, how do we go about finding Ezekiel? Much less keeping him safe? Since if I had to guess, he's probably looking for Dawn right about now if he knows she's missing." Cameron asked Mike, who shrugged, his face one of contemplation as he pondered the situation.
"Maybe he's at the mine still? That's as good a place to look first as any is it not?" Mike eventually stated, making Cameron shrug and agree so the two headed towards the mine. Had they turned around at that moment, they'd have seen a green blur race past them, with the other four campers giving chase furiously. Instead, Mike and Cameron made their way into the mine, hoping Ezekiel was still there.
(Back at the Hurl of Shame, with Chef and Chris)
"This crate is heavy, Chef. Can we hurry up and get the Hurl ready so we can launch the crate already?" Chris asked Chef as he loaded the crate into the Hurl of Shame after barely hauling it onto the seat. Chef frowned at Chris.
"Get your butt down here then so we can make sure the Hurl of Shame is in working order, since I think I see a flaw in it." Chef said, dragging Chris below the Hurl and pointing to what looked to be a damaged spot on the Hurl. Unfortunately for Chris and Chef, a green blur chose that moment to grab the crate and race back off towards the mine with the crate over their shoulders, followed closely by four of the six non-missing campers. After Chris and Chef looked up as the Hurl went off, they noticed the crate was gone. Shrugging, and both figuring that the crate had been Hurled off the island, the hosting duo went back to Chris' quarters for a meal.
(Back in the mine)
"Wait, this is where Ezekiel was hiding out before, right? Because I don't see him." Mike said to Cameron, a look of worry on his face. Cameron frowned.
"As far as I know, this is where we found Dawn last challenge with Zoey and Sam." Cameron said, shrugging. As they looked around, they heard footsteps as they saw Ezekiel enter the room, the crate from before on his shoulders as he set it down, looking for something to break the crate open with. He then spotted Cameron and Mike.
"Perfect. Cameron, you and Mike need help Zeke! Zeke need break that crate open because Zeke suspects Dawn might be trapped in it! Dawn hear something while she here visiting Zeke, and Zeke run to safety at Dawn's insistence, but then he hear sounds of struggle and see a net leaving area with what Zeke guess be Dawn trapped in it. So Zeke figure crate have Dawn in it. Will Mike and Cameron help Zeke?" Ezekiel asked Mike and Cameron who blinked briefly before nodding, Mike looking around before finding a average-sized rock, showing it to Ezekiel.
"Would this be big enough to break the crate open?" Mike asked Ezekiel, who looked the rock over carefully before nodding. "Give Zeke rock." Ezekiel said, snatching the rock from Mike, swinging it at the crate for a few minutes as Cameron and Mike watched. Eventually, a cracking sound could be heard as the crate fell apart, falling open to reveal a passed-out (and possibly half-suffocated) Dawn laying inside the wreckage, prompting gasps from Mike and Cameron and a low growl from Ezekiel. "We need find way to revive Dawn, and fast." Ezekiel said, carefully lifting Dawn out of the wreckage and laying her on the makeshift cot in the corner of the room that she'd laid on in the previous episode's challenge. Cameron and Mike looked at each other then both turned to Ezekiel.
"Normally, we'd suggest getting Chef's help, but given it's most likely his fault she's like this in the first place given what you told us, I don't think that's an option. So I suggest that Cameron stays with you while I go break into the infirmary and get the supplies we'll need to revive Dawn. Ezekiel, you need to check her carefully for a pulse, and if need be Cameron can show you how to do so. Once that's done, you then need to make sure she's still breathing. Last thing any of us needs is for her to die over Chris and Chef's negligence and callous disregard for our well-being." Mike said, prompting nods from Cameron and Ezekiel as he left the room to go get the supplies, a dark look on his face. As he left, Cameron looked at Ezekiel.
"Shall I check her for a pulse and breathing?" Cameron asked Ezekiel, who nodded.
"Yes. Cameron please do. Zeke not want Dawn to die. Zeke care too much for Dawn to lose her." Ezekiel said, surprising himself and Cameron, since the not-as-feral prairie boy and Dawn hadn't known each other for that long. But they both chose to worry about that after making sure Dawn was okay. Cameron then proceeded to carefully check Dawn for a pulse, breathing a sigh of relief when he felt a pulse. However that relief was short-lived when Cameron checked that Dawn was breathing, frowning as he realized she was, but it was very shallow and spaced out. Cameron turned to Ezekiel.
"Dawn has a pulse, but her breathing is very weak and labored. Probably the time in that crate did slight damage to her. Granted, she wasn't in there that long, but from what I recall suffocation can have fast-acting ramifications. So as such, I recommend you do slight mouth-to-mouth on her to get some air in her lungs so she can breathe easier and hopefully pull through until Mike gets back. You do know how to do that, right?" Cameron asked Ezekiel, who nodded. Luckily for him, CPR was one of the first things he'd learned in homeschooling so he knew it reasonably well.
Ezekiel forced down the embarrassment he felt at the prospect of what he was about to do, and walked over to Dawn, gently putting his mouth over hers, breathing into her mouth at intervals to help her breathe easier, trying to focus on keeping her safe and not the fact that he was techincally kissing Dawn at that moment while giving her mouth-to-mouth. He kept his mind on the task at hand, eventually being rewarded by a faint cough from Dawn, which gave Ezekiel the signal to stop the mouth-to-mouth, which he did reluctantly as he stepped away. And not a moment too soon either, as the moment Zeke was a good distance from Dawn, her eyes weakly slid open as she looked around.
"Wh-where am I?" Dawn asked weakly, before noticing Ezekiel and Cameron standing before her.
"Ezekiel? Cameron? Am I back in the mine?" Dawn asked, to which Ezekiel simply nodded.
"Dawn save Zeke from being captured by net, but Dawn get caught in net instead. Zeke have to get help from Mike and Cameron to get Dawn out of crate, which Zeke barely snatched away from Chef and Chris before they could Hurl of Shame you off the island, presumably as a way of covering up the evidence of their mistake. Zeke not happy with either Chris or Chef, as their stupidity nearly get Dawn killed. And Zeke no want Dawn to die." Ezekiel said, stepping forward to gently hug Dawn before he could stop himself.
"So you saved me then. Th-thank you, Ezekiel. And you as well, Cameron. Even if all you did was help Ezekiel get the crate open, you and Mike likely are at least partly the reason I'm still okay right now. Oh that's right! What happened with the challenge?" Dawn asked Cameron, prompting Cameron to gasp, remembering what Chris had announced the challenge was. He then turned to Ezekiel.
"Ezekiel, you need to take Dawn and both of you need to get out of here fast. Chris and Chef set the rest of us to try and capture you for the challenge. Apparently Chris wasn't happy with Chef for catching Dawn instead of Ezekiel, so doubtless he'll be out to get rid of Dawn as well as Ezekiel so as to erase any evidence of foul play. So both of you, run away now!" Cameron said to Dawn and Ezekiel. Both Dawn and Ezekiel exchanged a worried glance before Dawn turned to Cameron frowning.
"And why should we do that? Wouldn't doing that mean Chris and Chef won? I don't know about you Zeke, but I for one refuse to let those two win." Dawn said frowning.
"Zeke agree with Dawn. We no go anywhere. If Chris and Chef want us, we give them what they want. However, Zeke no go down without a fight after what they do to Dawn." Ezekiel replied, a clearly agitated tone in his voice as he recalled what Dawn had been through on his account. Before either Dawn or Cameron could reply, the other campers (minus Mike) came running into the room.
"AHA! There you are, Ezekiel! Chris has had us looking all over for you! Give yourself up and come quietly while we bring you back to Chris and win the challenge." Scott spoke up, glaring at Ezekiel and ignoring Dawn's presence at the moment. Ann Maria nodded agreement with Scott, as did Lightning. Jo, however, frowned.
"Wait, why is Dawn here too? I thought she was missing?" Jo asked, being the first to acknowledge the presence of the previously-thought missing aura reader. Dawn sighed.
"That would be what Chris and Chef wanted you to think. The truth is, Chef mistook me for Ezekiel and caught me in a net. That dangerous prey Chris claimed was in that crate earlier? That was me. They trapped me in there, and if not for Ezekiel and Cameron, as well as I suspect Mike's quick thinking, I might be dead or in bad shape right now so I owe them my life. Especially Ezekiel, as he helped me get air back in my lungs after freeing me from the crate. So if you want to capture Ezekiel, you'll have to go through me first!" Dawn said, standing defiantly in front of Ezekiel, her arms spread out protectively to try and bar the others from getting Ezekiel.
"Me too. Ezekiel's not that bad of a guy once you get to know him, even if he does seem to have a bit of broken speech patterns. But that's hardly his fault with what he's been through according to Dawn here." Cameron said, surprising himself and Dawn by standing with her in front of the other four, who gaped but otherwise didn't react, as three of the four others advanced on Dawn and Cameron, intending to toss them aside to get to Ezekiel, but surprisingly Jo reacted first, tackling Scott out of the way and leaving just Ann Maria and Lightning to move Dawn and Cameron aside. However, no one expected Ezekiel to step up in front of Dawn and Cameron and growl threateningly at Ann Maria and Lightning.
"Come at Zeke if you dare! Zeke no fear you cowards!" Ezekiel snarled, looking ready to fight for Dawn and Cameron. It was amidst this sea of confusion that Mike ran in, seeing the chaos and gaping at the sight of Jo and Scott wrestling around on the ground, each seemingly trying to pin the other, before charging forward and trying to push Ann Maria and Lightning away from Ezekiel and Dawn, only to instead be shoved aside by Lightning, prompting Mike to fall and smack his head on a rock as he hit the ground, instantly passing out, much to the shock of Dawn, Cameron and Ann Maria, the latter being more worried for vito and the former for Mike. Ezekiel was too busy wrestling Lightning to the ground to see Mike's predicament.
(Inside of Mike's mind, while all the kerfuffle was going on with the others)
"So wait, why are we still stuck in here while Mike has control of us? I don't get it." Svetlana, one of Mike's more feminine personalities due to being based off of a gymnast, said as they looked at Chester and Vito, the other two having been sent back into Mike's mind when he took back control.
"Heck if I know. Probably because Mike doesn't like us taking control or something." Vito said, his arms crossed as he lazily blew a strand of his slicked-back hair out of his face in a bored manner. Chester frowned at Vito's tone.
"I dunno. Back in my day, people saw it as an honor to be taken over. Whippersnappers these days are so ungrateful, I tell you what." Chester grumbled, shaking a walking-stick (why he had one no one knew) around to Vito and Svetlana's amusement.
"Y'know mates, if I had to guess I'd say it's because of that feisty red-headed sheila that Mike seems to have the hots for. Zoey I think her name is. Though I notice Mike's been more depressed and darker since she was eliminated." An Australian accented voice spoke up, prompting the other three to look over to see what appeared to be another Mike wearing a fedora looking adventurous.
"And you are...?" Vito asked, an eyebrow raised at the new personailty. The personality laughed.
"Crikey, sorry about that. Where's my manners? G'day mates, Manitoba Smith's the name, adventuring's my game!" The now named Manitoba said to Vito and Chester, not really seeming to pay Svetlana much attention. But what caught all four personalities by surprise was the sudden appearance of Mike himself amongst them.
"Wait, what's this then? Why's Mike in here? And who's in control out there?" Manitoba spoke up, being the first to find his voice after the shock of Mike appearing.
"ugh, where am I?" Mike said, sitting up before gaping as he saw what appeared to be his various personas surrounding him, plus a new one in Manitoba.
"You trapped us in here, Mike. Of course we're gonna be in your mind. What are you, standing?" Vito snarked, smirking at the shocked look on Mike's face as he spoke up.
"Svetlana disagrees with Vito. Svetlana thinks this is bad that Mike is here. Especially with the rumors that HE could be returning." Svetlana spoke up, confusing Mike and Vito both. Chester and Manitoba both shuddered at Svetlana's words.
"Struth! You don't mean HIM, do you Svetlana?" Manitoba asked, wide-eyed.
"I sure hope not. That whippersnapper was a pain to take down the last time. Let me tell you what, that Malevolent One is one mean cookie. We got lucky last time that Mike was able to outwit him so we could banish him." Chester said, causing Mike to turn to him, eyes wide.
"The Malevolent One? Oh no, no no no no no no! If he returns, a lot more than just us could be in danger! He's dangerous! Or do I need to mention what we went through the last time he took over!" Mike said, seemingly agitated by Chester's comments. Before anyone else could speak, an ominous laughing echoed all around the five versions of Mike, as an equally ominous looking pair of red eyes materialized in the shadows.
"Why Chester, I'm pleased you remember me. And the rest of you, I'm disappointed. I'd think you'd remember me after I kicked your butts the last time. As for YOU, Mike, I'm gonna enjoy taking your body over after the way you humiliated me before." An evil-sounding voice said to the five versions of Mike, before they stepped out of the shadows to reveal...another Mike, this one with his hair swept completely over one eye, an evil expression like the one from Mike's earlier confessional on his face. This figure's appearance prompted Mike, Chester AND Vito to gasp in shock.
"THE MALEVOLENT ONE?" All three yelled in unified shock and horror. Manitoba and Svetlana merely fainted in shock, to The Malevolent One's amusement.
"Yes, fools, it is I, The Malevolent One! Thanks to that fool Lightning, I have returned at last! And now I shall take over Mike's body and use him to spread my wrath to those who wronged me before! Soon the world will fear the name Mal!" The now named Mal aka The Malevolent One said, laughing evilly as he advanced on the five versions of Mike, easily subduing and tying each of them up, before scattering the five of them across Mike's psyche, making sure to keep them seperate from one another.
(Back in the mine with the others)
"Is Lightning finished already? Zeke expected more." Ezekiel said as he smirked down at the pinned form of Lightning, before letting him up. Elsewhere, Jo was being let up by Cameron who had managed to surprise and pin her briefly, to Jo's surprise and amazement. Lightning grumbled as he got up.
"Lightning admits that you have skills, Ezekiel. Well played. But a challenge is a challenge. Chris ordered us to bring you in and the first of us to do so will win immunity for their team. So that kinda puts us in a sha-pickle if we don't bring you in." Lightning said, looking sheepish. Ezekiel blinked, but an idea came to him.
"First to bring Zeke in wins immunity, Lightning says? This give Zeke idea." Ezekiel said, turning to look at a confused Dawn.
"Why're you looking at me like that, Ezekiel?" Dawn asked uncertainly. Ezekiel smiled at Dawn.
"Dawn and Lightning on same team, yes?" Ezekiel asked Lightning who looked at him.
"Yes, that's correct. Why do you sha-ask?" Lightning replied warily. Ezekiel grinned deviously as he looked at Lightning.
"By that statement, if Zeke lets Lightning bring him in, Dawn would be safe another round. Granted, this puts Mike and Cameron at risk, but there's no real clear-cut way to save everyone, Zeke thinks." Ezekiel spoke, prompting Dawn to ponder Ezekiel's words before turning to her right, and gasping as she looked down by her.
"Uh guys, when did Mike get knocked out?" Dawn asked the group, making most of them frown.
"He wasn't, Dawn. Why do you ask?" Ann Maria replied. Dawn blinked before glaring at Ann Maria.
"Oh no? If that's the case, then who is THAT laid out on the ground by that rock?" Dawn asked, pointing to where an unconscious person laid next to a rock, prompting Cameron and Ann Maria to look over, both gasping in horror as they saw it was in fact Mike laying unconscious by the rock.
"Oh sha-crap, that's not good. I think I might've done that by accident while I was wrestling Ezekiel over here." Lightning said sheepishly, as he suddenly remembered shoving someone aside while trying to fight Ezekiel to get him captured for his team. Not surprisingly, Dawn and Cameron both glared at Lightning when he said this, while both Jo and Ann Maria slowly backed away from Lightning at the glares he was getting. Scott, for his part, simply leaned back and took a watch and see stance on the whole thing. Before anyone could tear too much into Lightning, Mike suddenly sat up to everyone's surprise, leaving Dawn and Cameron relieved that Mike was okay.
"Mike, you're okay! You ARE okay, right?" Cameron said as he walked over to Mike, who rolled his eyes at Cameron's concern.
"Yes, I'm fine. A bit dazed from the impact with the ground, but otherwise unharmed. Now I believe we were in the middle of a challenge?" Mike said pointedly, making everyone minus Dawn and surprisingly Jo and Lightning jump as they remembered they were in the middle of a challenge. Ezekiel nodded to Mike's statement.
"As Zeke was saying, Zeke let Lightning and Dawn bring Zeke in so their team win immunity. Zeke feel Dawn in worse need of it than Mike and Cameron. No offense Mike and Cameron. Zeke thinks you'll survive a bonfire better than Dawn would." Ezekiel said, not seeing the look on Mike's face. Lightning nodded, carefully tying up Ezekiel.
"I'll try not to bang you up too much bringing you in, Zeke." Lightning said, not seeing Dawn glare at him.
"Darn right you won't. He's our best bet at immunity. That and I'd be most cross with you if you hurt Zeke." Dawn said, crossing her arms as she huffed. Ezekiel chuckled at Dawn's reaction, finding it oddly adorable yet amusing. Eventually, the group made their way out of the mine, Lightning and Dawn leading the way with Zeke tied up in Lightning's arms. Behind them, Jo kept an eye on the Maggots in case they tried something to take Zeke from Lightning's grasp. However, she didn't count on Scott and Ann Maria walking alongside her, presumably to keep her busy. Meanwhile, Cameron and Mike brought up the rear, the latter giving Scott a heated glare that confused and unnerved the former. After the group exited the mine, Scott and Ann Maria exchanged glances and nodded, both tackling Jo to the ground as Mike lunged forward, easily pushing the shocked Cameorn aside before tackling Lightning, attempting to wrestle Ezekiel out of his grasp, his expression suddenly very much dark and evil. After a short struggle, Lightning laid on the ground out cold while Mike ran off, Ezekiel in his arms, laughing evilly as he raced off to camp, Dawn hot on his heels with a glare on her face. Jo managed to shove Ann Maria and Scott off of her, tossing the former aside and glaring at the latter until he backed away warily, racing off after Mike after scooping up an unconscious Lightning as she ran.
(Confessional Cam-Rats)
Dawn- "When did Mike turn evil? His aura never hinted at this much darkness before...unless...oh no, it couldn't be! Did the Malevolent part of his aura re-awaken when he was knocked out? This is bad! Especially since he has Ezekiel in his grasp right now!" Dawn said, gasping as her eyes got wide with worry and fear. They then narrowed as she fixed the camera with a determined gaze. "Regardless, I intend to help Ezekiel make it safely to freedom, no matter what!" Dawn vowed.
Jo- "Why did Snooki and Red try to attack me like that? I doubt they were in on Mike's plan to snatch Ezekiel? Or were they? It could be Cameron set the whole thing up?" Jo said wide-eyed, as she realized Cameron had been too quiet that whole time, though she had a hard time believing the bubble boy capable of such malicious action or intent. Eventually, she shrugged. "If we lose, I'm safe regardless since with Lightning out cold, he can't vote me off, and I'm pretty sure Dawn won't vote me off when Lightning might be in no state to continue. Besides, I bet Chris will leave the vote in the hands of the Maggots regardless." Jo said, shrugging.

(With Chris and Chef)
"So Chef, do you think they found Zeke yet?" Chris asked Chef as they enjoyed their meal while waiting for the campers to finish the challenge. Chef shrugged.
"Dunno, but I'd be surprised if Ezekiel came quietly, even for people his own age, if not younger. Granted, he does seem to be getting attached to some of them more than others, so anything's possible." Chef said, but Chris never got to reply, as he was too busy going wide-eyed at the sight of what appeared to be Mike hoisting a tied-up Ezekiel in his arms, but the bigger surprise had to be seeing Dawn hot on his heels looking ready to beat him up for taking Ezekiel. Behind her ran Jo who was surprisingly carrying an unconscious Lightning, with Cameron, Scott and Ann Maria trailing behind her at a distance. Once everyone had showed up, Chris looked at the group.
"First of all, not even gonna ask where you found Dawn. And second of all, what happened to Lightning?" Chris asked the conscious campers. Jo frowned.
"HE happened to Lightning! The psycho jumped Lightning from behind just to grab Ezekiel from him!" Jo said, glaring as she pointed at Mike who was holding Ezekiel.
"And he's lucky I haven't kicked his butt for it! I may not have the highest opinion of Lightning but to attack him from behind with no warning is just cowardly and dishonorable! I thought Mike was better than that!" Dawn said, frowning as she glared at Mike, who laughed evilly after setting Ezekiel down in front of Chris.
"Mike? You think I'm that weakling fool? Dear girl, you are as silly as you are naive! I may be in his body, but that fool could never keep up with my skill! Besides, he was just a product of my subconscious. I, The Malevelont One, am the true Mike! And I'm not as weak or kind as the Mike you've come to know! So get used to this face, for it will be the last most of you see!" Mike/The Malevolent One said laughing maniacally as he glared at Scott in particular.
"I think I'll make an example of you first, you spineless weasel. You hurt someone Mike cares for deeply. So I shall make you pay." The Malevolent One said to Scott, leering at him viciously before walking back to Chris.
"So, I take it the Maggots win since I brought Ezekiel back to you per the terms of the challenge?" The Malevolent One said to Chris, giving him a look that dared him to disagree.
"And who says you deserve to win after you attacked Lightning the way you did, Mal? Granted it might well be his fault you exist right now, but that's no excuse for violence! Besides, I know deep down Mike's still in you so you're not as in the clear as you think!" Dawn shouted, glaring at The Malevolent One, or Mal as she had dubbed him for short, much to Jo's amusement. She chuckled as she looked at Dawn.
"Gotta say Blondie, didn't think you had this much backbone in you. I'm impressed." Jo said giving Dawn a nod of respect.
"Be that as it may, Dawn, Mike IS correct that his team brought Ezekiel back first. Or more specifically HE brought him back first. HOWEVER, I said the first TEAM to arrive with Ezekiel would win immunity, and as Jo had Lightning in her arms when she arrived with you, well before the rest of the Maggots, that means that the Rats are the winners of immunity! However, I will also award Mike individual immunity for being the one to actually bring back Ezekiel." Chris spoke up, prompting the Maggots to gape at this reveal. Mike/Mal merely nodded in acceptance of Chris' concession. Meanwhile the Rats cheered at their second straight win.
"So Maggots, I'll see you at the bonfire, where either Cameron, Ann Maria or Scott is about to get the next Hurl off this island." Chris said, before turning to the Rats.
"Oh, and Rats? Because I feel like it makes this more interesting, you three will also get a say in which Maggot goes home. And as Lightning is unconscious, and Jo was the one to carry him back, her vote will count as his as well." Chris said to the Rats, who gaped but eventually nodded acceptance of Chris' statement.
(Confessional Cam-Maggots)
Cameron- "Oh no, Mike had an evil personality? How did neither of us realize this before? Unless...did Mike know but not speak of it? I wish Zoey was still here, as this probably wouldn't have happened if she were here. Or maybe it would, since I don't think she'd have been able to stop him getting knocked out. But that's neither here nor there. Hopefully I can manage not to be blindsided like Zoey was. But anything can happen." Cameron said, looking at the camera in concern and fear.
Scott- "So, Mike or rather Mal is immune? Guess that means I'll be disposing of Bubble Boy sooner than I planned. Assuming Ann Maria has no objections to it, that is. After all, she knows I'm not voting myself so it's either Cameron or her. Not much middle ground in this case." Scott said, crossing his arms as he glared at the camera.
Ann Maria- "Mal? What happened to Vito? Granted, Mal isn't bad to look at either, but I don't know if I can stand that much edginess in a guy. Still, I think I'd rather stay on his good side. After all, there's not many of us left now and I can't much afford to be a target especially when it's either me, Scott or Cameron getting shafted at the bonfire. Luckily Scott doesn't strike me as the backstabbing type so I don't think I have much to worry about." Ann Maria said as she sprayed her hair to keep it straight.
Mike/Mal- "Perfect, not only am I safe, but Scott's right where I want him." Mike/Mal said laughing at the camera. He then crossed his arms and frowned. "Still, would it be TOO easy to make an example of him right now? Maybe I should seperate him from his allies before I make an example of him. That might be the more delectable way to punish the fool. Just as well that Mike can't stand that Snooki-wannabe bimbo. So this is an easy vote to cast. And I think I can convince Cameron to vote her, but at the same time, what if we forced a tie between Scott and Ann Maria? That would REALLY make him squirm." Mal said getting a contemplative look on his face as he considered how to handle the vote.

(At the Campfire Ceremony)
"Maggots, welcome to another campfire ceremony. There are four of you sitting in front of me, but only three marshmallows on this plate. The one of you who does not get one of these marshmallows will instead receive the dreaded Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom. That person will also be sent out of the game Hurl Of Shame style. So without further ado let's give these marshmallows out. First off, Mike has immunity so he's of course safe at no votes. But he's the only one of you without votes. The rest of you got at least one vote apiece." Chris told the three Maggots not named Mike as he tossed Mike his regular marshmallow, prompting Mike to give a satisfied smirk as he looked at Chris. He then tossed Cameron a regular marshmallow, leaving the bubble boy surprised and Scott and Ann Maria horrified as they realized one of them was out.
"Cameron, you are safe at two votes. Scott, Ann Maria, this is the final marshmallow. One of you is safe at two votes like Cameron. The other is out with three votes. The final marshmallow goes to...

...Scott, you're safe at two votes! Ann Maria, I'm sorry but you're out of the game with three votes!" Chris said, tossing a relieved Scott the final regular marshmallow before pulling out the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom and tossing it at a wide-eyed Ann Maria, either not noticing or ignoring the traumatised shriek Ann Maria gave as the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom landed in her hair, causing most if not all of it to fall off on impact, prompting her to hurriedly bat it out of her hair and into the nearby lake, to Chris' surprise. He then signalled Chef to load Ann Maria onto the Hurl of Shame, which the co-host reluctantly did.
"Any last words before you get the Hurl of Shame?" Chris asked Ann Maria.
"Yeah, thanks guys for a good game. And McLean, you better find a lawyer when this season is over, because I'm gonna sue you so bad for destroying my hair that they'll throw the book at you and then take it and shove it up your-" Ann Maria said, not getting to finish her threat to Chris before he hurled her off the island, the end of her sentence being muted by her screams of horror as she flew off into the distance, leaving the final six to exchanged horrified looks at how graphic Ann Maria's final words to Chris were.
"The rest of you can return to your cabins, for now. But come the morning I may have some surprises for the lot of you so sleep quickly, campers!" Chris said, as the final six went back to their cabins. Chris then turned to the camera.
"And there you have it folks, we are now down to our final six contestants! How will they cope with the surprises I have for them? Will the final six stay the final six, or might someone be making that final six a final seven again? And who will be the next victim of the Hurl of Shame? What other drama will happen? To find out the answers to at least a few of those questions, keep watching TOTAL! DRAMA! REVENGE...OF THE ISLAND!" Chris said to the camera as he signed off the episode.
end chapter 2
A/N: And there we go, another chapter is done! Yeah, Ann Maria got the heave-ho already. Given how few people were left on the Maggots though, this seemed like the option with the most shock factor and drama to it. That, and everyone else on the Maggots has at least some form of plot armor for now (Cameron being the unspoken hero of the team, Scott being the team douche and Mike/Mal being the team edgelord/secret villain) so Ann Maria was really the only expendable choice.
As for the Rats, I had to have them get immunity because there likely wasn't a realistic way to write anyone's exit on that team but Dawn's (possibly Lightning's but it'd have been a real stretch to pull off), so the Maggots were the team to lose this round. Next chapter will have the aforementioned surprises for the final six, which that being the number of remaining campers should give some a clue about one of the surprises.
As for the other, Chris' outro here may or may not've hinted at the other surprise within it. So take that into consideration. And while you wait, feel free to leave a review with your thoughts/opinions/feedback, or you can PM me with that info. I enjoy hearing feedback from readers so I can be able to continue to improve as a writer, though I'd like to hope my writing now is better than it was before my unplanned hiatus. Either way this is another chapter down!
Also, before I forget, if anyone reading this also reads Pokemon: Shuffled Journeys, which as of the point of this chapter going up has been left unupdated for about a week and a half (give or take a day or two), I plan to have a new chapter of that up within a few days of this going up so look forward to that, and if anyone here wants to, feel free to vote on the poll on my profile since it concerns which girls Ash could get in his harem (which Shuffled Journeys is looking increasingly likely to be an AshxHarem story) once I start working it into that story. Note you can vote up to 3 girls on the poll. And feel free to spread the word to others about the poll so they can also vote! I'll leave the poll up until the 27th of this month aka two weeks after it went up! So you have a few days still to vote! So do so if you want! But that's enough about me advertising other stories within this one. Let me finish this outro!
So until next update, which could be at any point depending on how often the urge to update this hits me, sithlorde1988 out!
