A/N: sithlorde1988 here with another chapter of A Mine Is A Terrible Thing to Waste Redux (rewrite)! I'm sure at least a few of you are probably like 'FINALLY! About frickin' time he updates that story!' To that I can only apologize for getting partly hit by update backlogging and having to do other story chapters first. But also because I had to think about the next challenge to make sure I had it how I wanted it. And I think I've found one I can be satisfied with. I won't say here because DUH, spoilers! That and you'll see for yourselves in the chapter! Before I forget, I do NOT own Total Drama or any related shows/characters, and that the ones who DO own them knows who they are. That being said, on with chapter 4!

Chapter 4- Wawankwa Kart aka Grand Chef Auto

(recap, narrated by Chris)

"Last time on Total Drama Revenge Of The Island! Our final six found out that they'd reached the merge and got their next challenge: the return of the Tri-Armed Triathlon! However, this challenge was much lamer than the original running was, mostly because there was WAY less drama in it plus hardly any angsting. But at least I got some angst out of the campers AFTER the challenge, which no one won because it was a 3 way tie between the pairs. And not one of them expected that the other surprise was an eliminated player being brought back, specifically one Silent Beverly aka B. *clips of the challenge ending in a three-way tie with no winner, the subsequent protesting from the final six, Chris revealing that B was back in the game and the various reactions to said return play*

Most were happy, though some, like Scott and to a lesser degree Jo, were unnerved. However, I then laid the bombshell that B was the only one immune from the upcoming campfire and they all were shocked. But in the end the biggest shock of all was when Lightning got axed 3-2 in a tense tiebreaker over Scott. And why, you may ask? Surprisingly so, because a certain SOMEONE got distracted with their vote and put the wrong name. *clip of Dawn getting lost in a daydream and writing Lightning's name instead of Scott plays before cutting to a clip of a open-mouthed shocked Lightning raging at his defeat, before getting ejected via Hurl of Shame mid-way into a very crude rant which ends with a nervous Chris grinning at the camera* In the end, the final six REMAINED the final six albeit with the change-up of adding B and subtracting Sha-Lightning! With that in play, how will THIS final six handle their next challenge? Will anyone ELSE try pulling a fast one on me? I'm looking at YOU, Dawn! And who will be the next one voted off? To find out the answer to most (if not all) of these and maybe more, you won't want to miss this dramatic episode of! TOTAL! DRAMA! REVENGE...OF THE ISLAND!"

(end recap and intro music plays)

(merged group cabin)

"Well, that's one more target down. Now, all that remains is to dispose of Jo, and possibly B as well then Scott will be all alone and in prime position to be made an example of. Can't you taste the imminent revenge, Cameron?" Mal said to Cameron who frowned at Mal's words.

"Revenge? I thought we were here to do our best and hopefully make the final 2 together while splitting the prize three ways if one of us wins? I didn't realize this turned into revenge?" Cameron asked Mal, wide-eyed with shock at the tone in Mal's voice. Mal laughed darkly.

"Oh, Cameron. You silly fool. You're so naive! Yes, that is part of why we're here! But also we're going to avenge Zoey and how Scott cheated her off the show! If that means we have to do a few questionable things to achieve that goal, then so be it! After all, history wasn't made by being considerate of others. And if you can't see that, then maybe I need to rethink who I bring to the end with me." Mal drawled, and Cameron went pale with panic.

"N-no, that's not necessary. I'll help you with your plans Mal, just don't turn on me!" Cameron said pleadingly. Mal nodded in approval.

"Good, Cameron. Goooood. Now let's go see what those other fools are doing." Mal said to Cameron as the two walked off.

(Meanwhile, in the forest nearby)

"You know, it really is nice that you're back in the game, B. You do know how much most of us missed you when you left, don't you?" Dawn asked B with a smile and he nodded, giving her a thumbs-up. Dawn sighed slightly as she looked at B.

"It's just too bad you don't talk, B. I bet if you did, you'd have some very interesting thoughts to share. After all, they always say the quiet ones are the most profound and/or brilliant. But even so, you're still you regardless." Dawn said to B, smiling brightly as she meditated. Because her eyes were closed while meditating, Dawn didn't see B frowning and looking hesitant. He eventually decided on not talking for now, unsure of how to admit his secret to Dawn without seeing disappointment and hurt in her pure and innocent eyes. Unbeknownst to B, however, a certain red-headed schemer had been hiding in a nearby bush and saw the look on his face, their expression one of surprise.

(Confessional Cam)

"Oh, really? And just what are YOU hiding, Beverly? Was I right to be wary of you way back then? Maybe this is my way of buying myself a ticket to the final at least 3? Because with first Ann Maria and now Lightning gone, I might be a tad screwed here. Sure, I might be able to persuade Jo to work with me, but unless I can get at least one of Dawn and B to also help me, I'll be screwed next time I lose a challenge, though with Mal wanting to make an example of me, I might have one more challenge at most to figure things out. So, methinks I need to devise a good plan and fast." Scott said, looking nervously at the camera. He then grinned.

"Yet I'm oddly not bothered by that, as unlikely as it may seem. Sure, I could be defeated, but maybe it's fate's way of making me realize I need to re-think my approach." Scott said with a shrug.

*static*

*B holds up a sign saying 'Well crap, what do I do? I'm not one to talk much, but I feel like it would really crush Dawn if she knew I could talk this whole time but choose not to because it's easier to just observe and not say much. I don't know if I could stand to see that pretty face of hers marred with hurt over me. But can I really bring myself to speak for her? Or am I going to remain Silent B forevermore?' before shrugging at the camera holding up another sign saying 'Why did I agree to return again?!' before sighing and leaving the confessional*

*static*

"I can't believe Jockstrap got eliminated last time! Granted, I shouldn't be surprised since there's not many of us left. But still I worry that I could be next if Mal decides to turn his shifty-eyed focus onto me to weaken Scott. Which is dumb, since I could give two fricks less about that sleazy jerk! I will however admit that Blondie and Bubble Boy have my respect at this point. One's just straight-up resilient and the other has a quiet strength that you wouldn't pick up on looking at them. Too bad both are so close to Mal, or I could see either of them being a great ally." Jo said frowning before sighing.

"Then again, do I even have ANYONE left on this dumb show? Seems like I keep losing allies faster than I can gain them. Oh well." Jo said shrugging.

(end Confessional Cam)

"Campers, report to the Mess Hall for breakfast and then the reveal of your next challenge. Repeat, campers to the Mess Hall for breakfast and your next challenge. That is all." Chris said over the intercom to the final six who all blinked then went to the Mess Hall. Once they got there, Chris looked at them.

"Welcome to your next challenge, final six. I know this season is coming and going real fast. But you know what else goes real fast? KART RACES!" Chris said to the final six, whose eyes widened.

"Kart racing? Are we driving Go-Karts for this challenge?" Jo asked, actually looking excited at this prospect. Chris nodded to Jo's question.

"Yep. All six of you are getting into karts for this. You will all drive around the island, visiting various points of interest on the island and literally planting your mark on each location. For each of you, the mark will be unique. Dawn, yours is a pink crescent moon because you're a moonchild. Jo's is a grey whistle because your look screams 'gym teacher'. Scott's is an orange shark's tooth because why not? Cameron's is a red bubble because he's a bubble boy. B's is a black and yellow bee because his name is B.

As for Mike's, his is a blue and black yin-yang because of all his personalities. The first one of you to tag all five unique landmarks with your stamp and then drive back here to the Mess Hall will win immunity. However, the next three to arrive will also not be up for elimination. It'll be the last two to arrive that are the only ones up for elimination. So all of you do your best. Got it?" Chris asked the final six, who nodded. Chris clapped his hands together and grinned at the final six.

"If there are no questions, we can begin the challenge. Any questions?" Chris asked, and unsurprisingly about half the contestants' hands were up within seconds.

"None? Good! GO!" Chris said, predictably ignoring the questions. At that, the final six scrambled to get to their karts, with Jo, B and surprisingly Mal being the first to reach their vehicles, their stamps already in the glove box as they started driving to the first landmark. Eventually, everyone was off and driving, though not before they all got to watch a red go-kart drive past, the driver only having enough time to wave at the final six before he turned to see he was heading towards a wall.

"Oh, fu- BOOOOOOOM!" The driver said as his kart hit the wall, sending him flying out of the kart and causing him to land face-first in the dirt nearby. He then got up and dusted himself off.

"Oof, that wasn't fun. But hey, at least I'm okay. Score!" The driver said as he went to walk away, only to not watch where he was going and give off a scream oddly similar to Ezekiel's from World Tour as he fell into the same hole Dawn had dropped into a couple episodes previous, an audible 'THUD!' being heard shortly after as he hit the bottom. Dawn sweatdropped at this. 'Why couldn't Tyler's ineptitude at sports have been one of the things that Ezekiel was exaggerating about when he told me about the other veterans?' Dawn thought to herself, a sad frown on her face as she kept driving, regretfully not going to check on Tyler.

All the campers kept driving towards the first landmark, eventually they reached it and stamped their marks on it one at a time, before heading to the second landmark. As they drove, Mal grabbed a coconut from nearby and tossed it out behind him, aiming for Scott. However, his aim was off due to the fact he was driving, and he ended up hitting Cameron's kart instead, making it spin out and break down, to Cameron's frustration as it sputtered to a halt. Both Cameron and Mal facepalmed at this turn of events. After this, Scott snickered at the sudden turn of events before looking over at Mal.

"Hey Mal, nice aim! I hope you weren't trying to purposely hit the only ally you might have left in this game! Not a very smart move, you dirty great nutcase!" Scott taunted Mal who growled at him.

"YOU FOOL! I was aiming for YOU! Do you REALLY want me to get out of this kart and kick your ass, or better yet make you crash?" Mal taunted Scott. Scott rolled his eyes.

"Oh screw you. I don't know how Zoey has any sort of feelings for you when you act like this! I know I'm not the most morally upright person in this game, but at least I don't try to kill people! I'm sorry that Zoey's out, but that's just the way the game goes sometimes! So grow a pair and get over it, you twat!" Scott snarled at Mal, chucking a coconut at him, hitting his kart and spinning him out. Unfortunately for Scott, Mal's kart spun into his and took them both out of the race, to the surprise of a wide-eyed Dawn as she and Jo raced past them, B not far behind them. Mal gritted his teeth as he realized he couldn't win immunity.

He then grabbed a trio of coconuts and lobbed them at Dawn, B and Jo to try and wreck them, but only managed to barely hit B's kart in the back with one coconut, making him spin out. In his shock, he accidentally let out a strangled scream before his kart spun out and took him out of the challenge, meaning either Dawn or Jo was going to get immunity. After a few more landmarks, in which Jo and Dawn were neck and neck as they tagged all the landmarks except the last one, the bonfire as it turned out, which Dawn reached first, managing to stamp it without getting out of her kart, proceeding to then start speeding back towards the Mess Hall, Jo right on her heels.

"Don't expect this to be an easy win, Blondie! I may be impressed with your tenacity, but don't think I'll give up immunity without a fight!" Jo said, hitting a button on her kart which gave it a speed boost letting her blast towards Dawn quickly. However, even then, Dawn still narrowly beat Jo to the Mess Hall, just managing to hop off her kart before Jo's kart crashed into Dawn's due to the increased velocity, launching her out of the kart to her shock. Dawn's eyes went wide at the sight of Jo being launched backwards out of her kart.

(Confessional Cam-Merged Group plus Cameo)

Dawn: "I think I won? But was that really a good way to win? Because everyone else literally crashed? I'm glad I'm immune, but I feel kinda bad for the others." Dawn said sighing as she looked at the camera before she then smiled suddenly.

"On the other hand, I'm now a step closer to winning the season! Great Earth Mother, watch over me! If it be your will, let me emerge triumphant at the end of everything so I can use my newfound wealth to do your glorious will. And if it appeals to you, maybe I'll even run into Ezekiel again. I'm sure he'd be proud of me if I can win this." Dawn said sighing wistfully as she let herself think about Ezekiel again, wondering once again if he was safe. She then shook her thoughts off.

"Also, hopefully Tyler survived that fall. I don't think we need to see another person get hurt falling down that hole. I should know." Dawn said, waving her now healed ankle to the camera that she'd hurt when she fell down the mine a few episodes previous. She then smiled and left the confessional.

Mal: "DAMMIT! How did I manage to botch that challenge so *BLEEP*ing badly? Not only did I manage to accidentally take out Cameron immediately, but I got taken out getting Scott out of the challenge. And to make matters worse, I only hit B in that last-ditch effort to stop the others from winning. This sucks. Luckily I think I can get Cameron and Dawn to help me eliminate Jo." Mal said crossing his arms. He then smirked.

"But make no mistake, this is just a setback! This game will be MINE soon enough!" Mal said, laughing maniacally until the camera cut to static.

*static*

Jo: "Well that sucked. But at least I almost finished the race. I'm content with that. I was hoping to win though since some of my family used to race go-karts. I feel as though I let them down. But at least I can say I didn't crash out of the race until the very last second, and by my own erroneous plan." Jo replied, before she smiled at the camera.

"Still, I have to hand it to Dawn. Who knew she was such a graceful driver and so good under pressure? Well played Dawn, well played. You've earned some measure of my respect." Jo said with a nod to the camera.

*static*

Scott: "Seriously? Mal's THAT determined to pursue vengeance on me that he tried to make me crash? He could've killed me! That crazy douchebag is lucky Chris doesn't kick him out of the game! But of course that crazy narcissist probably loves the ratings! I know I have no room to talk about crazy scumbags given how I've acted most of this season, but at least I wouldn't stoop so far as to try and kill people. I HAVE STANDARDS, DAMMIT!" Scott said, huffing as he crossed his arms. He then stroked his jaw in thought.

"Now, who to target? Granted, Mal IS vulnerable here. But I doubt he'd be so easily eliminated right now. But I suppose we have to at least try. And by we, I mean myself and if I can get them to help me, Jo and Dawn." Scott said contemplatively.

*static*

Cameron: "How humiliating! I know driving's not my strong point, but first one out of the race?! Darn it! It'd be one thing if Scott was at fault, but MAL? Why would he do that to me? How rude! At least Mal ended up crashing not long after. About the only time Scott's done anything good this season, even if it was unintentional! Too bad it's not gonna get the target off his back. I don't like it but Mal probably wants him gone! So I have to do as Mal asks me!" Cameron said, sighing as he crossed his arms.

"But, at least Dawn won the challenge! So that's something! The only way that would've been better is if Ezekiel had been able to see it! But he left to get better so he's where he needs to be. So that's something. Now if Dawn would just quit denying that she's smitten with him. Even I can see that. Hell, I bet even SCOTT can see that! But i guess it's her lookout if she wants to deny what's right in front of her!" Cameron said sighing as he crossed his arms.

*static*

B: *sighs, then holds up a sign that says 'All right, time to be honest. I can talk. But I'm just too shy to do so. I've always had social anxiety since I was little. I eventually got to where I found it more comforting to just use signs to communicate. I don't like talking because I don't think I'm good at it. But I might have to before much longer since I doubt I'll get much farther otherwise. But maybe I can win without speaking? I doubt it.' then puts up another sign that says 'Though it might be worth speaking if it means I get to see Dawn smile some more. It seems like she hasn't smiled that much since I returned. And YES I might be slightly attracted to her. Though I get the sense she's into someone else. As long as she's happy, that's enough for me.' before putting the sign down and sighing*

Tyler: "You happy Chris?! I made a cameo and sampled that challenge for you! You're lucky I didn't die in that fall! Otherwise you'd have a ton of pissed off ex-contestants after you! I still can't believe that Zeke not only found a form of redemption but possibly even found a girlfriend, even if he doesn't want to admit he's hot for that Dawn girl. Honestly, can't say I blame him either. I like Lindsay as much as the next guy, but Dawn's really a sweetheart at heart I've noticed. And I agree with Courtney, there's no rule against cameos using these. So why not leave one for the road? Too bad Lindsay and I didn't get to cameo together. We could've made this episode a lot more interesting and exciting." Tyler said crossing his arms and frowning.

"Then again, maybe this cameo will help me get into *REDACTED* somehow? Depends on how nice Chris is feeling, I guess." Tyler said as he left the confessional.

(End Confessional Cam-Merged Group and Cameo)

(In the Mess Hall)

"And there we have it! Because everyone except Dawn failed to cross the finish line, Dawn wins immunity pretty much by default! However, she also gets to pick a player of her choice to share immunity with her. So who's it gonna be, Dawn?" Chris said to Dawn, who gasped in surprise. She looked at the other players, eventually smiling as she made a choice.

"This isn't an easy choice, but I think when all is said and done, I'll choose Cameron to share my immunity with since I feel bad for how quickly he got taken out of the race, especially since it was out of his control." Dawn decided, making Cameron smile at her and spontaneously rush up to hug her without thinking about it, making Dawn blink in surprise at the action but smile as she gently patted Cameron on the head like he was a puppy of some sort.

"You're welcome, Cameron. I'm glad you're so happy for immunity." Dawn said to Cameron as she give a very musical and happy giggle after Cameron hugged her. Chris cleared his throat after Dawn's comment.

"OK, that said, it's time for everyone to vote for someone to go home, but it can't be either Dawn or Cameron. Both of them have guaranteed spots in the final 5! So good luck you lot, and I'll see you at the campfire." Chris said as he left the Mess Hall leaving the final six to glance at each other uncertainly before leaving the Mess Hall.

(Campfire Ceremony)

"Campers, welcome to your second post-merge bonfire ceremony, or in B's case, his first." Chris said. He then grinned.

"On this plate in front of me there are five regular marshmallows, but six of you. The one of you who does NOT get a regular marshmallow will be given the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom, and get Hurled off the island! Obviously Dawn and Cameron are safe with immunity." Chris said as he tossed two of the regular marshmallows to Dawn and Cameron who smiled and pretended to 'clink' their marshmallows together as Chris turned to the others.

"Also safe with no votes are Jo and B." Chris said as he tossed them their marshmallows, leaving a shocked Scott and confused Mal to glare at each other.

"Mal, Scott, this is the final regular marshmallow. The one of you who does NOT get this will be eliminated, receive the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom, and be sent out of the game via the Hurl of Shame. However, each of you received 3 votes so for the second ceremony in a row, we have a tie. So at this time, the other four will now go and re-vote for either Scott or Mal to go home. Pray that this isn't also a tie." Chris said as Dawn, Cameron, Jo and B went to revote. Afterwards, Chris came back, frowning.

"I said pray that this is NOT a tie! Why then is it ANOTHER TIE?" Chris asked the final six who blinked at the apparent deadlock.

"Since you can't break the tie, we have a deadlock. Since this is unprecedented, I'm taking some cues from Survivor. Since the vote is deadlocked, both Mal and Scott are now safe, meaning B and Jo have to draw rocks, and whichever one of you has the red rock is out." Chris said as both B and Jo reached into the offered bag and took a rock, which their hands closed over. After a pause, Chris looked at B and Jo.

"Open your hands." Chris told them. When they did that, Jo was disappointed to see she'd drawn the red rock.

"Jo, I'm afraid this means you're out of the game. The Hurl of Shame awaits. But first..." Chris said, tossing the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom at Jo who was too busy blinking to block it, making it hit her sweatshirt, dissolving the front of it on impact, making Jo blink as she hurriedly threw an arm over her chest, the other flipping off Chris.

"You dirty pervert! Why shouldn't I sue you?!" Jo snapped at Chris as she stepped onto the Hurl of Shame.

"Because I control your future on this show? Plus it was an accident AND your fault for not blocking the marshmallow?" Chris asked Jo.

"OH *BLEEP* OFF CHRIS! YOU'RE A DIRTY ROTTEN PERVERT! I hope you get buried in hate mail and flamed hardcore by all the females that watch this! You hear me, Chris McLean?! You're a great big chintzy motherfu-!" Jo yelled at Chris, before being ejected mid-rant by the hurl, the shock moving her arm off her chest, making her unintentionally flash the final five AND both Chris and Chef, the former of which went wide-eyed as he realized how much censoring this was gonna need. He thusly ignored the disgusted glare Dawn sent Chris and Chef as they gaped at the sight of Jo disappearing into the distance still yelling profanities that no one could hear. After Jo was out of view, Chef turned to the final five.

"Congratulations, you five! You've made it to the final couple of challenges! Enjoy this for now, for the worst is still yet to come! So take advantage of this downtime while you can. You're gonna need it! Now go back to the cabins!" Chef said dismissing the final five. After they left, he turned and saw Chris actually fainted, wide-eyed and pale from horror at what he'd accidentally done with the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom. Chef then turned to the camera.

"And that's all she wrote! Jo got sent packing after a crazy double tie forced a rock draw between her and B. Who will be the next one out? Will Chris get sued and/or dinged by the network for Jo's wardrobe malfunction at the end? What will await the final five next? To find out, keep watching TOTAL! DRAMA! REVENGE OF THE ISLAND!" Chef said as he signed off the episode.

End of chapter

A/N: Yeah, I know, probably a shorter chapter from me. But I couldn't really come up with a lot of dialogue this time around. But I hope I at least somewhat made up for it with the twists at the elimiination and with the surprise Tyler cameo (and before anyone makes a comment about it or PMs, I KNOW Tyler didn't cameo in the actual show but I felt like shaking things up a bit, plus who better than Tyler to cameo in a kart racing challenge? Plus I feel like he was the literal BEST choice for the misfortune that ensued shortly afterwards. For reference, he survived his fall per his confessional.), but if not I apologize.

Next chapter should be fun, since it'll be the return of another twist from TDI, and those who remember THAT season's final five might be able to guess what I'm alluding to. However, who knows what I'll change in this version of it? And to anyone who whines about Jo being eliminated here, I didn't plan on her making the finale. At the same time, her plot armor kinda ran out here. And before anyone complains about the Marshmallow of Toxic Loserdom eating Jo's sweater when it hit her, remember that I rated this story M. So this was to be expected eventually. And let's just say it could've been MUCH worse. So yeah, keep that in mind. So until next update (whenever that happens), sithlorde1988 out!
