Note: With a new month comes new chapters for each active story. Of course, that depends on what stories will be updated, so some will be ignored while others get a new chapter. As for this story, it is one of the ones that are updated each month until they reach the end (aside from Love Or Lust). With that in mind, stay tuned for each update, if you are following the story. For those who are starting to read the story from here, please go back to the very first chapter and read through the story in order to get caught up. Try to avoid spoilers as well, considering how it's rude for the story to be spoiled before you have the chance to read it.

Now that I've said that, it's time for chapter nineteen.

Chapter 19: Bugs and Glitches

Three days after the recent mission, Jeremy and Aelita were down in the lab, looking through the data that had been collected on the supercomputer. As he looked through everyone's avatars, Jeremy hoped that they were all able to resist possession attempts on Earth. Gene had only been possessed by X.A.N.A once, all while inside Bob's Burgers, so the Lyoko Warriors needed to be more careful. While they were more resistant to being possessed in the real world, the Belcher children and their associates probably weren't as lucky. Even if their bodies built up more of a resistance, X.A.N.A could find a way to get rid of it, giving him the chance to turn them into his warriors. From there, no one would be able to stop the evil AI.

After going through the data, Jeremy noticed that some of the files had more lines of text than they did before. These lines were mainly composed of numbers, with the occasional letter in each. Strangely enough, all of the files had these, even the ones concerning each Sector in Lyoko. Closing them out, Jeremy hoped to show what he found to the rest of the team. Aelita made sure to print out the files, handing them to the spectacled blonde in case they couldn't come to the lab and display them. With the printed files in a folder, they left the lab, knowing they had to get ready to resume their tutoring jobs at Wagstaff.

Once the lab was empty, the supercomputer began to work by itself. It opened the files Jeremy had accessed earlier and began to type a line of text in each one. Some lines were deleted, then replaced by new text, as if they were mistakes made during each mission the Lyoko Warriors had. After these mysterious edits, the files were closed again, the supercomputer turning off afterwards. Then, a strange noise came from the Scanners, which sounded like hissing. Whatever had just happened, it wasn't good.

The next day, Bob and Linda were at the restaurant, serving their customers. However, each time she served a customer, Linda would watch the news, wondering if there was anything interesting. Aside from a few recent arrests, nothing much was happening. With that in mind, Linda continued working, giving customers their food and collecting the tips they left behind. There were more customers than usual, which made the day busier for Bob's Burgers. Despite that, Bob and Linda were able to keep up with each order, making sure every customer got their food.

As she collected a tip, Linda looked up and saw that there was a very special report on the news. This report concerned a virus that scientists were naming the Snake Flu. While where it came from wasn't determined yet, the scientists were working on a vaccine to combat it. Seeing this, Linda worried about the wellbeing of her family and the kids' tutors. With its origins unknown, the Snake Flu could be deadly, and children could be easy casualties of it. Linda didn't want her children and their tutors to die of a lethal new disease.

"Linda, you okay out there?" Bob spoke.

"Bob, did you hear that?" Linda asked.

"Yes, I heard the news." He said. "I wouldn't worry about it. People come up with all sorts of crazy things in hopes others will believe them. This might just be a tactic to get people to buy random stuff."

"I hope you're right about this, Bobby." She said. "Usually, when people say to ignore certain viruses, things get worse. If this turns out bad, this could be COVID-19 all over again!"

Heading back to the flattop, Bob continued to cook burgers, knowing that there were customers waiting on their food. Linda waited on him to get the next order together, as she was tasked with taking food to the customers. As that happened, they both decided to see if this Snake Flu was real or not. If it was real, then the Belcher family needed to prepare to deal with it, so that it doesn't blindside them like how COVID-19 did to Earth when it was discovered. If not, then there was nothing to worry about. Either way, they wouldn't know until they found out the truth.

Meanwhile at Wagstaff, the Belcher children were in the cafeteria, talking about the Snake Flu story. Louise thought it was a fake story made up by someone pulling a prank, while Tina and Gene were more cautious, thinking that it could be real. If it were real, then another pandemic could start. Of course, anything could happen, and the virus could either be real or fake. Regardless of the truth, it was important for the kids to keep their eyes and ears open, just in case something happens. For all they knew, the virus could be one that wasn't from Earth, or from their reality.

"This Snake Flu thing has GOT to be a hoax." Louise spoke. "If it's been discovered, then why hasn't anyone been hospitalized?"

"Don't try to ignore something like this, Louise." Tina said. "People ignore virus warnings all the time and they get sick. Do you want to catch the Snake Virus and give it to us?"

"Give it to Tina!" Gene said. "My body is a temple!"

"Forget about that possibly fake story." Louise said. "We need to work out a time to head to the factory whenever there's a X.A.N.A attack. It's in case the team can't go with us."

"But what about Jeremy and the others?" The eleven-year-old asked.

"That's what I'm talking about, Gene." The nine-year-old said. "If they aren't able to head to the factory during the next mission, we'll have to head there without them."

"We don't know how to use the supercomputer, Louise." Tina said. "I mean, sure, Jeremy has those notes under it and it looks easy to use, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a dangerous piece of technology that is housing a virtual world where an evil program is planning to kill us and take over the world."

"Not to mention that it contains monsters and Towers that said evil program can use to attack the real world." Gene said. "If it was just the three of us, we couldn't stop the attack because Aelita wouldn't be there."

"We can get her to go with us." Louise said. "Let's not forget that Henry is on our side. He can use the supercomputer and run Mission Control while we're on Lyoko."

"Then it would still just be us, Henry, and Aelita." Tina said. "It still wouldn't be enough to end a X.A.N.A attack, considering how crazy they often get."

"And we'd all be Devirtualized before Aelita could deactivate the Tower!" Gene said.

"Did you two honestly forget the away team Jeremy had us put together?" Louise asked.

"Zeke and Jimmy Junior won't go to Lyoko." Tina said. "They can't handle every attack in this world. We'll still be at a disadvantage!"

As the Belcher siblings spoke, Henry took his seat at the table they were seated in. He had arrived in the cafeteria a few minutes ago, so he overheard them speaking, albeit quietly enough so that no one got suspicious about their conversation. It was especially risky for them to talk about the factory, the lab, the supercomputer, and Lyoko at school, considering how dangerous it was. Given how he was their teammate, Henry wanted to remind them of that fact.

"What's shaking, Belchers?" Henry spoke. "Aside from, you know, nearly spilling the secret."

"Nothing much." Tina said. "We were talking about that Snake Flu thing, though."

"It's a hoax." Louise spoke.

"The news comes up with a lot of things, expecting people to believe what they are told." Henry said. "It could just be something harmless."

"But what about COVID?" Gene spoke. "People didn't think THAT was a big deal, and look what happened!"

"We'll just wait and see, okay?" The spectacled brunette said. "For all we know, the scientists who discovered the virus might be working on a vaccine. They might have it done before it spirals into a pandemic, unlike what happened with the Coronavirus."

"Hopefully so." Tina said. "I don't want to do school work at home again!"

"Isn't that homework?" Gene asked.

"All we were doing during the early days of the pandemic was homework." Louise said. "I hope that we don't go back to doing that."

"Not to mention that we can't fight X.A.N.A when a pandemic is active." Henry said. "Our families would keep us in the house, even as an attack upon the world is happening."

"Yeah, keeping us safe would be meaningless when the world is reduced to nothing!" The nine-year-old said.

Once the bell rang, lunch had ended, meaning the students would have to leave the cafeteria. The Belchers and Henry went their separate ways for the time being. As the day carried on, they agreed to wait if the Snake Flu was real or fake. If it was fake, then there was no problem. If it was a real virus, then they did not want it to lead to another pandemic. The scientists who discovered it would have to manufacture a vaccine fast, or the world would be in danger due to the Lyoko Warriors and their away team, the New Jersey Devils, being unable to use the supercomputer and fight against X.A.N.A's attacks.

When the day was over, the Lyoko Warriors were in the library, helping put books back on the shelves. They put them back alphabetically, making sure that they were in the right place. For the encyclopedias and dictionaries, Mr. Ambrose had them returned to his cabinet. Once each book was returned to its place, the Lyoko Warriors sat at the table they sat at in the morning. As they sat down, the group decided to speak about the Snake Flu that scientists had allegedly discovered. Needless to say, the team was as divided about it like how the Belcher siblings were.

"I think that Snake Flu thing is a tactic to get people to go crazy." Ulrich spoke.

"And how can you be sure that it isn't a deadly disease that will lead to our extinction?" Odd asked.

"Yeah, the virus could be deadlier than Ebola or COVID for all we know!" Sissi said.

"People make up all sorts of stuff." Ulrich said. "I mean, Odd still believes in that urban legend back at Kadic."

"He isn't the only one, though." Yumi spoke.

"Well, what do you think, Jeremy?" Odd asked.

"It might be a fake disease created due to misinformation on the reporters' part." Jeremy spoke. "But, if it is real, then there are two options: a natural, deadly disease or a manufactured bio weapon created by X.A.N.A."

"Making a bio weapon does seem like something X.A.N.A would do." Aelita said. "Until we see someone infected with the disease, we can't be sure."

"Considering how some diseases spread, we could be the first to get it!" Odd said. "We wouldn't be able to fight X.A.N.A!"

"And let's not forget our away team." William spoke. "If they got infected, they wouldn't be able to fight X.A.N.A, either!"

"In that case, I'll have to head to the lab when I have time off." Jeremy said. "I'll check and see if there's a Tower activated while the rest of you keep an eye on things around here."

"But you should take me with you, considering the files we were going over a few nights ago." Aelita spoke.

"Right." The spectacled blonde said.

Once they were done with their conversation, the Lyoko Warriors split up, deciding to help get things ready for tomorrow. They even had to grade the work that certain students had done, considering how they were in charge of tutoring these students. As the teens left the library, Mr. Ambrose sneezed into his elbow, only to see that his skin looked unnaturally scaly. By looking closely, the librarian could see the scaly sections were discolored. The patches looked green, as if they came off the body of a snake. Right as he had seen that, Mr. Ambrose let out a sigh, which sounded somewhat like a hiss.

In the morning, the Belchers were walking through Wagstaff, intent on speaking with the Lyoko Warriors. The kids wanted to talk to the team about potentially adding more people to the supercomputer, so that both teams could grow and gain a better advantage over X.A.N.A. While Gene and Louise were okay with the idea, Tina was not. If more people joined the battle against X.A.N.A, that would only give the AI more targets. Even if he didn't kill them, he could still possess or incapacitate them. That was something Tina didn't want to happen.

Once the kids were close to the library, Louise stopped in her tracks. Gene and Tina did so as well, though they were wondering why their sister had suddenly stopped. They looked in her direction, finding a note on the library's door that said "Closed until further notice". The Belcher siblings found this strange, as the library was rarely closed, even on days where Mr. Ambrose was absent. What could have happened for the room to be closed off for the day? Where were they going to speak to the Lyoko Warriors at?

"What the Hell?" Gene asked.

"The library is closed?" Tina spoke. "Where are people going to read and do their homework?"

"I'm sure there's an explanation for this." Louise said. "We should get the others."

"But where could they be?" The eldest Belcher sibling said. "The library's closed!"

"Obviously, they're in the cafeteria." The youngest Belcher said. "Let's get there, so we can figure out what's going on."

Before the Belcher siblings could walk to the cafeteria, they saw Mr. Frond walking by. He didn't seem focused on them, but he looked rather stoic. Finding this odd, Louise went to ask him about the library, thinking that he knew something. In any other situation, she would not have considered speaking to the faulty guidance counselor, but she knew she would have to. None of the students would be a reliable source of information (aside from those working in the Wagstaff newsroom), so an authority figure would have answers. Even if the adult in-question was someone who was terrible at their job and disliked by everyone around them, they would, at least, know what happened to a fellow member of the staff.

"Mr. Frond, mind explaining why the library is closed?" Louise spoke.

"Actually, Louise, I need to speak to you, Tina, and Gene in my office." Mr. Frond said. "It's really important."

While they were in Mr. Frond's office, Tina, Gene, and Louise spoke with the guidance counselor.

"Okay, why did you want to speak with us?" Louise asked.

"You have probably noticed that Mr. Ambrose isn't at school today." Mr. Frond spoke. "He's at the hospital, getting a checkup."

"I hope he's alright." Tina said.

"He'll probably be fine." The guidance counselor said. "For all we know, this could just be a simple cold."

"Or maybe cancer?" Gene asked.

"Shingles?" Louise suggested.

"Anthrax?" Tina said. "Oh god, he has anthrax!"

"I'm sure that it isn't anthrax, Tina." Mr. Frond said. "In the meantime, a few other kids are out sick, so I need you to check and see if anyone else is sick. This might be the start of a pandemic."

"Oh, is this about that Snake Flu thing?" Louise said. "Mr. Frond, don't tell me you believe in that, too! That's something the news made up just to get people worried over nothing!"

"If it's real, I hope it doesn't turn people into snakes." Gene spoke. "Oh my god, it turns people into snakes!"

"Gene, calm down." Mr. Frond said. "Look, you three are my eyes and ears for today, so I need you to make sure other kids aren't getting sick. One pandemic wassss bad enough, ssssso we don't need another!"

Tina, Gene, and Louise were taken aback by what Mr. Frond said. In a matter of minutes, he had gone from speaking normally to hissing. Not only that, but for every hiss, the guidance counselor shown his tongue, which was now forked. Gene was frightened by this, thinking that his fear about the Snake Flu was true. Louise and Tina weren't as frightened as their brother, though they were unwilling to approach Mr. Frond. Even if he didn't turn into a snake, he was still infected with a new disease.

"Why are all of you looking at me like that?" Mr. Frond asked. "Do I have ssssomething on my ssshirt?"

"No, but you're hissing an awful lot." Louise said.

"He's gonna turn to a snake!" Gene cried.

"Gene, don't be ridiculoussssss!" Mr. Frond said. "I'm not going to turn into -!"

Suddenly, Mr. Frond fell behind his desk, letting out a gasp. Tina, Gene, and Louise took a peek behind the desk, only to see the guidance counselor's clothes left. It looked like he had slipped out of his clothes, until something moved in his shirt. Louise saw a head poking out, but it wasn't a human head. A red snake came slithering out of Mr. Frond's clothes, making a small hiss. It did not seem interested in harming those around it, but the Belcher kids did not want to take any chances.

"Mr. Frond's turned into a snake!" Gene shouted. "We gotta get the others!"

The Belchers ran out of Mr. Frond's office, intent on finding the Lyoko Warriors. All around them, there were snakes slithering down the hallways, presumably teachers and students who were unfortunate enough to contract the Snake Flu. With that in mind, the kids hoped that their teammates weren't infected with this mysterious disease. Luckily, the team was nearby, albeit without Jeremy and Aelita. Those two were likely at the lab, checking to see if any Towers were activated. One had to be under X.A.N.A's control, considering the craziness that was happening.

"Are you guys alright?!" Tina spoke.

"Yes," Yumi said, "but some of your classmates aren't! They've turned into snakes throughout the day!"

"Where are Jeremy and Aelita?" Gene spoke. "Don't tell me that they've been turned to snakes, too!"

"They're at the factory, but they've got some bad news." Ulrich said.

"Crap!" Louise said. "Okay, let's just get to the lab so that we can hear the bad news."

The Belcher kids and the Lyoko Warriors ran out of Wagstaff, meeting up with Henry. Jimmy Junior and Zeke were nowhere to be seen, meaning that it was likely they had been turned to snakes. However, the group had no time to find out what happened to them, as they needed to get to the factory as fast as possible. If the X.A.N.A attack wasn't stopped, then the world's entire population would be turned into snakes.

"Alright, the moment we get Virtualized, the moment we kick ass!" Louise said.

"Depends on if the bad news means we can't go to Lyoko!" Odd spoke. "If that's so, then I hope Jeremy has a backup plan!"

As the Lyoko Warriors and the New Jersey Devils ran towards the direction of the factory, Tina saw the Belcher family car driving slowly. With that in mind, she stopped moving, allowing Bob and Linda to park the car.

"Thank God, none of you have been turned to snakes!" Linda spoke.

"Wait, you were surrounded by people who turned into snakes?!" Louise asked.

"A few customers at the restaurant turned into snakes." Bob said. "I kinda figured that something was going down at the factory, so we're coming with you! Seriously, we missed the last few missions!"

"Go ahead and keep driving," the nine-year-old said, "we'll meet you at the factory!"

"Just be careful on the way there!" Linda said. "And please don't turn into snakes!"

Splitting up, Bob and Linda drove to the factory while the team ran there. Once they had gotten there, the Lyoko Warriors and the New Jersey Devils entered, intent on meeting up with Jeremy and Aelita. While the Belcher kids wanted to know what the bad news awaiting them was, their parents were happy to partake in a mission. Even if there was nothing they could do, it was still a good thing to help out in times of crisis. The Lyoko Warriors hoped that nothing bad would happen, considering how important the supercomputer and Lyoko were. Maybe the bad news could be that the activated Tower was heavily guarded.

While at the supercomputer, Jeremy was overlooking the files he had opened a few nights ago. Unlike before, each one seemed to have new lines of text, while several other lines of text were missing. This was bad, because this could interfere with Virtualization and certain Sectors. Once everyone else came in, Jeremy turned around to face them. As for Aelita, she looked at the files, hoping that nothing bad would happen on Lyoko. Outside of her being Devirtualized before she reached the Tower, there were other dangers on Lyoko that the rest of the team would fall victim to.

"Glad you're all here!" Jeremy spoke. "There's a Tower in Sector Five under X.A.N.A's control!"

"Before you send us there, Jeremy, what's the bad news you wanted to tell us?" Gene asked.

"I've looked through several files, and some of them are missing lines of text." The spectacled blonde said. "Not only that, but there are lines of text that weren't there before. If I send someone on Lyoko with corrupted file, it could jeopardize the mission!"

"Well, let's test that out." Louise spoke. "Send me, Gene, and Tina with Aelita!"

"And send me with them!" Odd offered.

"If something's wrong, we'll tell you, Jeremy." Aelita said.

"While you're on there, Henry will have to watch over you as I work on fixing the files." Jeremy said. "In the meantime, head for the Scanners, then I'll send you to Sector Five!"

Entering the Scanners, Aelita, Odd, and the Belcher kids waited to be Virtualized. As Jeremy looked at the files, Henry prepared the supercomputer for the mission. He entered each code in order to send his allies to Lyoko, being met with no problems while doing so. Seeing that, it appeared that the Virtualization process hadn't been tampered with, meaning that the files were intact. Once Tina, Gene, Louise, Odd, and Aelita were Virtualized, Henry kept a close eye on the screen, checking for any problems. As they appeared on Sector Five, the spectacled brunette spoke to them.

"How are you doing?" Henry spoke into the headset. "Aelita, are you alright?"

As she was the first to arrive in the Sector, Aelita looked at herself, finding nothing different about her avatar. She waited for the others to show up, assuming that nothing went wrong during the Virtualization process. Looking above herself, the pink-haired teen could see Odd and the Belchers being localized onto Lyoko. However, something felt wrong, as if their avatars had been hacked. Sure enough, once they were in Sector Five, strange things happened to the other four. Once they landed on the ground, their bodies began to distort.

"I'm alright, but the others aren't!" Aelita spoke. "Something's messed up their avatars!"

Now that they were on their feet, Aelita could see the avatars of her teammates change. Odd had fallen to pieces, his limbs and head falling off the torso. Tina's head began to shrink, causing her to scream as her voice became higher pitched. Gene seemed alright, but parts of his body looked like melting wax. Louise had lost her arms and legs, only keeping her head and torso intact. Despite all of these distortions, none of them seemed to be at risk of Devirtualization.

"Please, tell me that Jeremy is working on fixing those files." Odd said.

"I'm sure he's working on it." Aelita spoke. "Now, if any of you can do so, follow me!"

Back on Earth, Bob, Linda, and the rest of the Lyoko Warriors were watching the mission while Henry and Jeremy worked at the supercomputer.

"What a fiasco!" Linda cried. "They look like broken toys, and Gene's melting like cheese!"

"I don't think Odd and Gene are gonna make it through, Jeremy." Ulrich said. "They're as good as dead."

"Don't worry, I'm working on their files at the moment." Jeremy said. "Any other problems, Henry?"

"Tina's head shrank and Louise is now the Living Torso." Henry said, watching the mission.

"How did the files get so messed up, anyway?" Louise's voice came out of the headset. "Did the RAM have a glitch?"

"Maybe the circuits got messed up." The spectacled brunette said.

"It's more likely that X.A.N.A tampered with them, while leaving Aelita's alone." Jeremy spoke. "He must want something to do with her, considering how her file was unharmed. I'll keep trying to fix them, while the others try to make it to the Tower. If something happens, Henry, tell me!"

As they ran through Sector Five, Tina, Gene, Louise, Odd, and Aelita looked for the Tower. They wanted to deactivate it before something happened. Having their avatars messed up was bad enough, but the Belcher kids and the jokester didn't want to be Devirtualized before they got Aelita to the Tower. While she could reach it on her own, the Lyoko Warriors didn't want to risk her falling victim to the Scyphozoa or being Devirtualized before she could deactivate the Tower. Even as the pink-haired teen knew her teammates wouldn't make it in their distorted avatars, she knew that they would have to manage until Jeremy fixed their files. She feared that they would head back to Earth in the same state if X.A.N.A's monsters got the best of them.

Once they were near the Tower, Gene could hear a strange noise. It wasn't like any of the monsters he had encountered before on Lyoko, excluding the Scyphozoa (though he was brainwashed when he encountered it). Rather, it sounded like something slithering on the ground, almost like a snake. As the eleven-year-old feared snakes, he dreaded having to face this mysterious monster. His body continued melting, but it felt as though that would not Devirtualize him. If anything it felt like it would trap the boy on Lyoko until the Tower was deactivated.

"Aelita, what's that sound?" Gene asked.

"It's the Creepers!" Aelita spoke.

Suddenly, several monsters quickly slithered towards the group, firing lasers at them. They resembled snakes, though it was mainly because of their tails. Apart from that, they had human-like torsos. Gene was frozen, despite the fact that his avatar was melting. Because Odd and Louise had more of a disadvantage during this mission, he, Tina and Aelita were the only ones who could fight the Creepers. However, since Tina's head had shrank, it would be hard for her to see her surroundings, as everything would look much larger. Despite that, Aelita knew that everything her teammates did would have to work until Jeremy fixed the files.

When a Creeper slithered closer to him, Gene did not hesitate to blast the monster to bits. He kept firing, even as the one he killed got digitized. Tina swung her staff around, trying her best to fight. Even though she hit several of the Creepers, she failed to destroy them. Aelita wound up using Energy Fields to kill the ones that passed Tina, so that the others wouldn't get sent back to Earth before the mission was over. She had to get to the Tower, but she wanted to know if Jeremy and Henry were making progress.

"How are the files coming?" Aelita spoke.

"Jeremy's working on them, but none of them have been fixed all the way." Henry's voice was heard. "Don't waste time, Aelita! Head to the Tower!"

"Alright, but you have to hurry as well!" The pink-haired teen said. "The others aren't gonna make it for much longer!"

While Aelita ran to the Tower, Tina, Gene, Louise and Odd continued fighting the Creepers. As they did so, Gene's body continued melting, to the point where only his head was still solid. By the time another Creeper fell, the eleven-year-old had been reduced to a puddle on the floor of the Fifth Sector. He let out a scream as he suddenly became digitized, meaning that he was being Devirtualized. This left Odd, Tina and Louise alone to fight X.A.N.A's monsters as Aelita deactivated the Tower. Because of the hacked files, there wasn't much that they could do.

In the lab, one of the Scanners activated, coming open. Standing within it was Gene, who was back in one piece, despite having melted on Lyoko. He walked out of the Scanner, deciding to watch the mission with everyone else. Henry and Jeremy were both at the supercomputer, trying their hardest to fix the files. Aelita was likely in the Tower by now, ready to deactivate it. But, the question was whether the files would be fixed before or after X.A.N.A's attack was stopped.

Within the Tower, Aelita had floated up to the second panel, ready to access the Tower's data. Once the screen came up, the pink-haired teen put her hand on it. The Tower recognized her, allowing her to enter Code: Lyoko in it. After that, the Tower was deactivated, ending X.A.N.A's attack for the time being. If it had managed to fix the damages done to the files, then everything was alright. As for the Snake Flu, the Lyoko Warriors and the New Jersey Devils would have to see for themselves. Releasing a flu that could mutate people into snakes did seem like something X.A.N.A would do, after all.

From outside the Tower, Tina, Louise and Odd began to shift, as if they had been stretching. After that, their avatars were enveloped by a bright light which managed to scare off the remaining Creepers. The light had fixed their bodies, meaning that they were back in one piece. Looking over to the side, the three saw the light on the Tower go from red to white. With the Tower deactivated, that meant it was time for a Return To The Past. Considering the craziness that had happened during the day, it was more than necessary to launch one.

With the mission over, Jeremy saw that the files had been restored to normal. As such, he knew that everything was back to normal. However, regarding the Snake Flu, the spectacled blonde knew that people would be questioning what had just happened once they returned to normal. With that in mind, he gave Henry the code for the Return To The Past, allowing it to be triggered. Once it was input, the lab was engulfed by a bright light. It soon covered the world, turning time backwards and fixing whatever happened in the real world. By the time it was done, only those tied to the supercomputer would know what happened.

When the Return To The Past was over, the Lyoko Warriors were back in the library, waiting for someone to come in and talk to them. Someone came in, and it was someone the group had seen prior to the mission: Mr. Ambrose. He was a human again, meaning the Snake Flu had been erased. It was a biological attack from X.A.N.A, and now it was gone. With the virus having been stopped and the files on the supercomputer fixed, everything was going to be alright for the time being.

Note: The title of the chapter had a double-meaning, now did it? Not only did it refer to the tampered files, but it referred to the Snake Virus. What plan could X.A.N.A have in store for our heroes next? Will the New Jersey Devils have a mission by themselves? Is something happening at the factory near Kadic? If so, could whoever found it be trusted?

Until next time, guys, this is ElectricWizard99, signing off. Peace!
