Chapter 3

Moroha heads outside to take her lunch break under the tree in the school's backyard. For some bizarre reason she feels calm being right under the tree. She unwraps the package lunch bento box her mother made for her. She is about to take a bit of the ride.

"Hey, Moroha." Towa's voice speaks closeby. Moroha looks up to see her cousins, well more like half-cousins Towa and Setsuna coming towards her. "Oh hi." Moroha replies with a small smile. "We had hunch that you'd be out here because we couldn't find you in the building." Towa said as she and her fraternal twin sister Setsuna sit next to Moroha on the tree's big root.

Even though they're in the school uniforms, Towa prefers to wear the boy's attire. The same white blouse with khaki slacks. Setsuna has her female attire of the one that Moroha is wearing. Her long black night is tied up with a hair thing revealing some of the red streaks in her hair. Towa on the other hand only have short white silver hair with a small streak of red hair on her one bangs.

"I thought that with your keen sense of scent you would've find me much sooner." Moroha remarks before taking a bit of her lunch. Towa is about to speak first. "I bet something happened yesterday that made you feel like this." Setsuna points out.

Moroha goes into her backpack and hands over the brochure to them. "This."

Towa and Setsuna read over the brochure's accommodations. "So this is what made you upset?" Towa asks her.

"But why go there?" Setsuna asks right after her sister's first question. Moroha places her hands behind her head and leans onto the tree's trunk. "Mr. Totosai said that this school doesn't have anything else to teach me. I don't see anything wrong with that. He believes that school can do a better job than here."

"I don't want you to leave. We just started this year and now out of nowhere Mr. Totosai prefers that you go there instead. Did he give you a decision about it?" Towa asks Moroha as she hands the brochure back.

"To be perfectly honest, I don't really know what to do at this point. Throughout the time here, I managed to get good grades and was able to prove to this place I'm capable of sports. Even the trophies in the shelves prove that as well." Moroha said as she knows for sure that one of her trophies was chosen to be in the assembly shelve in the hallway.

"But deep down, I don't think I've been acknowledged." She frowns at this part.

"We both do." Setsuna said comforting the destressed girl. Moroha nods. "Just you two. But no one else in this school does. I bet the teachers had to teach them to respect us regardless of us being part demons." She felt so insecure about her identity being at the school.

"If this is a problem for you to go, why not have us go with you." Towa pops a question that really surprised Moroha and Setsuna.

"Oh no. I can't have you two do that. Besides, Mr. Totosai said that he only wanted me to go there." Moroha shakes her head. It's the least of her worries.

"Oh come on, Moroha. For what I know is that you'd be in a place where you don't feel comfortable. As such you need someone to have your back. In this case, us." Towa smiles with her idea. Setsuna shows the uncertainty in her indigo eyes while Towa's magenta ones are full of positivity.

"I don't know, you guys. I have until the end of the week to give Mr. Totosai my answer." Moroha said as she eats the rest of her lunch in quiet.

The school bell rings to dismiss the students for the day. Towa and Setsuna go in a different direction to go home from school. It's a good thing that it's a good walking distance. They reach the town's outskirts to the dense forest. They both look around themselves to make sure that they're not seen, they leaped in high speed and ran fast that no one would spot them. They always want to see which twin can beat the other when they get home.

"Ha, I win!" Setsuna smiles in triumph. Towa was a second late behind. "Oh come, Setsuna, you had a head start." She whines with a pout. Setsuna shakes her head. "Honestly, you wanted to let me win this one, sis." She said as they enter the manor through the garage door.

Rin is in the kitchen making tonight's dinner. "Mom we're home." Towa said as she and Setsuna enter the kitchen. "Oh they you are. I missed you." Rin embraces the both of them at once. "Anything interesting at school today?" She asks before resuming the task on the counter.

Towa and Setsuna have their routine for when they returned home, they settled themselves at the kitchen counter and sit in their assigned stool and begin their homework. "Nothing with the both of us. But there's something that involves Moroha?" Towa said as she focuses on her math homework.

"Please don't tell me that she's in trouble." Rin asks in an uneasy tone. Sure she loves the girl as much as her twin daughters, but she knew that Moroha has a rebellious side.

"No, she's been informed about going to a different school." Setsuna said this time. Rin puts the knife into the sink to clean the chips of the vegetables from the cutting board. "A different school? Which one?" She asks in curiosity.

"It's called Sakura Hills Academy." Towa took a picture of the brochure Moroha showed her earlier and have ever page taken.

Rin looks through the photos of the place. "Why would that place want Moroha to attend there?" She asks her older twin. She can see how worried they are about her.

"From what Moroha said is that the school we go to doesn't have the required methods to help her out." Setsuna answers her. Rin didn't see that coming. "You don't think that she's one of those special kids?"

"No way. She's bright and great at what she does. There wasn't a moment that she wanted anyone to help her out with anything." Towa reassures her mother.

The door opens and closed in the distance from the kitchen. "Sesshomaru." Rin smiles to see her husband to enter the kitchen. She immediately goes into the fridge to get his require drink, iced water from the brita picture. She fills it up in a drinking glass and hands it to him.

"Welcome home, father." The twins said simultaneously.

Sesshomaru noticed that the girls are in the middle of their homework. He then spots the phone that has the picture of Sakura Hills Academy front cover.

"What's going on with the pictures of Sakura Hills Academy?" He asks his daughters in a cold voice despite it was full of intrigue.

"Moroha told us that school wants her to attend there." Setsuna tells him first. "So the two of you have not been chosen?" He asks them.

Setsuna and Towa looked at each other before turning their full attention to their father. "No. We just found out today. I don't think that place is meant for us." Towa said to him.

"I see. Who told Moroha about this place? Was is Totosai?" Sesshomaru asks them as he takes his spot at the head of the dinning room table.

"I believe so. According to Moroha, the school we go to doesn't have the requirements that she needs to further her education." Setsuna tells him calmly.

Sesshomaru sets the glass onto the coaster on the table. "Why would your school not have the requirements?"

Towa turns her stool completely around. "We don't know father. I thought that our school had everything for the students. This just came out of the blue."

Sesshomaru hn's at that part. Rin speaks up

"Well for starters, there are most schools that have those features, and the more advanced schools that focus on the skills for the students that have potential. Like the for the culinary arts, performing arts, etc. What exactly does Sakura Hills Academy have to offer?"

Sesshomaru goes to his laptop he has out for work and types in the school's purpose. "It doesn't have those qualities. It's just like your school. It's no different." He tells them. He projects it to the screen for the family to see it too instead of the laptop. From what the brochure Moroha shows has the same things of the school's purpose.

"So it would be pointless for Moroha to go there?" Towa asks him. Sesshomaru closed the laptop and goes to the kitchen. "From what we know so far is that this academy is hiding something. We're just making assumptions because we don't really know what goes on at that school."

"But what about us? Can we go there?" Setsuna asks him. That made the kitchen fall silent. "If what you said is true, Moroha is going to be all alone there. We want to make sure that she's ok." She reasons.

"I'll talk to Totosai about this. You just started the semester. And there's no telling if Totosai would let you attend Sakura Hills Academy." He said before leaving to do the remaining work in his office with his laptop in his one hand.
