Cody could hardly believe what he was hearing. His own big brother, Tommy Laurent, is going to get hitched by this beautiful French woman that he had known for a good long time, and a good girlfriend that she had stayed with for a few good years.
The human boy was certainly caught by surprise after being given the news. Cody was happy that his own big brother was getting married to the greatest girlfriend his brother has ever had in his life, but it all felt so sudden. Alas, he was happy nonetheless. "You guys are getting married?" the boy asked
"Yep." said Tommy proudly. "Me and Celeste known each other for a long time now, and we decided that it was time to make our relationship official." he pulled his lovely fiancé close to him gently.
"Oh Tommy," said Celeste before hugging and kissing her lovely husband to show more affection.
Loona then said: "Wow, i kinda had a feeling you lovebirds would get together one day." she even smirked. "So when is the wedding?"
"Three weeks." Celeste replied.
"We already told our friends about it." Tommy pointed. "Just need to tell grandma and grandpa about it, and i would like to invite you guys to the wedding, too."
"I never really was one for weddings. They sound boring to me." Loona pointed.
"Come on, Loona." said Cody. "Please, can you be supportive? My brother is getting married. Isn't it exciting?"
"And it's not gonna have boring music or boring speeches." Tommy said.
"Zis is a big deal to me and Tommy. We are both destined to be together till ze very end of time." Celeste smiled. "In fact, we have a very important task for you, Cody." she knelt down. "How would you like to be..." Cody's eyes widened just dying to here what Celeste had to say. "Tommy's First man?" Cody's excitement skyrocketed with his eyes as wide as a pair of cow eyes. "Hehe, i knew you would be excited for zis job." Celeste gave him a kiss on the forehead. "So what do you say, Cody?"
"Wanna be my first man?" Tommy smirked
"Yeah! I would love to!" the boy bounced for joy. He was even more excited that the kind and beautiful Celeste is going to be his new sister-in-law
"I knew you would agree to this, baby brother." Tommy then gave him a gentle pat on the back. "And Loona, do you wanna be a bridesmaid for Celeste?"
"What? Hell no. Just wearing a stupid pink that makes me look like Bo Peep? I would rather shave my hair off." Loona brushed off, "And I would mean all of my hair."
"Without your fur extension?" Said Celestia
"Exactly."
"Come on, Loona, it was just an offer." Tommy pointed. "I'm not forcing you to do anything."
"You better not." The disguised hellhound gave him a mild threat. "I hate being forced into any kind of shit."
"yeah, we can see that." Said Cody. "Everyone knows better not to mess with you."
"Ain't zat the truth." Celeste chuckled.
"You guys don't really have to worry about anything yet. It's still only twenty-one days until the actual wedding reception starts. Me and Celeste will let you know when the time comes."
"OK, Tommy."
"Tommy," said Celeste. "About my parents, I know my mère will love you, but what about my père? He's the most stubborn person I have known in my life."
"What are you talking about, baby?"
"Before he met you, he had suspicions and doubts about you." Celeste admitted
Loona couldn't help but laugh before saying: "oh yeah? Is it because he's American?"
"What? No! It's nothing like that." The French woman pointed. "A father-daughter relationship is complicated. Even when his princess grows up, he still doesn't want to fully let her go her own way."
Letting out a small frown, Loona said: "shit, I know how that feels." then her demeanor changed into a bloodthirsty look. "I can take care of him for you." she made an evil grin and pulled out a 357 magnum revolver from behind her. "I'll just have a little... chat with him for you."
"Loona!" Tommy said. "You're not going to blow her dad's head off with that mini cannon!"
"No, i'm just gonna have a talk with him, that's all." Loona fibbed
"We zat kind of face." said Celeste. "Zat's your... i'm going to maul someone to shreds face."
"No it's not." Loona fibbed again with an innocent smile. "It's my 'i'm going to politely talk to someone' face."
Cody, Celeste, and Tommy looked at the disguised Hellhound, clearly looking unamused and unconvinced. "You don't have any of those, Loona." Cody crossed his arms.
"OK, OK" Loona put her large handgun away. "If i can't do anything to convince him to accept the marriage, how can we convince him?"
"Leave him to me." said Celeste. "I've known my father longer than anyone else in this family. I mean, he does like Tommy, and..." she looked at her fiancé. "You are the greatest brother a little brother can ever ask for."
"Oh stop it." Tommy flustered. "If you can't convince him, maybe i can help you."
"Merci, Tom." they both began making out once again.
"Can you guys take it outside?" Loona said. They broke off their kiss after hearing her say that.
"Look, how would you guys like a little tour of Paris?" said Tommy. "It's beautiful this time of year."
"Yeah!" Cody said
"And, Loona," said Celeste, "there is something very interesting that you might like."
"Caberet de l'enfer." Tommy said. "Or Hell's cafe. There was an old one but it got demolished a long time ago, and now they made a new one for popular demand."
"What?" Loona said. "That's... actually pretty cool."
