Draco watches in delight as his two victims struggle in their classes due to a distinct lack of wand. It's most apparent in transfiguration when they're simply unable to even attempt the exercises due to their wandlessness, and when asked why, both boys just mumble something unintegilible and look down. Draco's smile widens. Good. They've learned. The Thriller in him relishes in their fear, their compliance to his command, and the Draco in him thrives off of their misery and can't help but to poke fun.
"What's wrong Potter? Weasley? Cat got your wand?" The two glare at him for a moment, but quickly fix their glares to incredulous stares once they remember who exactly is speaking. "I hear magic is still possible without one. Why don't you try concentrating really hard? Something may happen if you're lucky. Well…something besides Weasley here hurting himself in confusion." A pokemon joke? Nice. The Draco side is learning.
The two Gryffindors endure a full month of this torture, suffering heavily as they blunder about in transfiguration, charms, and even potions (though stirring isn't as much of a big deal). It seemingly takes the entire month for them to finally build up the courage to confront their bully, their tormentor, their…antagonist for lack of better term, in the hall. Despite being there for moral support, Weasley is a bit too shaken up to do the talking, so Harry Potter instead takes point.
"That's it Malfoy, I've had enough. Give us our wands back—" He demands, keeping the fear and trepidation out of his voice.
"Or what?" He asks menacingly, cutting the boy off. "You'll do nothing, that's what." He sneers, as he thinks it over. "But fine, if you want your wands so bad then…" He strides over to a nearby window that seems to just open as he gets to it. "Go get them." Draco demands as he throws their wands out the window and to the ground.
"Hey!" Harry Protests, and Ron joins him.
"Bloody Hell!"
The two rush forward to look at their wands fall to the ground. Draco's tone becomes more serious and sinister, more quiet as he all but whispers to the two, his next command.
"I did not ask you to get your wands, I told you to." The boys look at him, a bit unsure.
"We…we can't! We'll—" Harry speaks worriedly. Ron finds his backbone and also responds, defiantly.
"I'm not jumping down there!"
"That wasn't a request, Weasley. You don't have an option. Now jump." His voice crackles with power on his last word as an unseen Imperius curse is cast. Suddenly, despite their disagreement with his words, both of the boys mindlessly climb the window's ledge and bend their knees, ready to jump.
"Potter! Weasley! Mr. Malfoy! What is the meaning of this?" Comes the voice of Professor Snape, as he strides over with purpose, demanding an answer. Draco turns to him with an evil grin.
"Oh, Potter and Weasley were just going to get their wands." He signals and both of the boys leap from the window.
"No!" The black-haired professor cries out as he quickly brings out his wand and does…something, a spell no doubt, to stop them in mid-air and float them back into the castle. He lets out a sigh of relief as their feet touch the floor, and the window is closed, locked for now and the threat has passed. Regaining his composure, he turns to his fellow Slytherin. "Mr. Malfoy, cease this at once!" He hisses at the boy. "If it goes further, I cannot protect you." The Malfoy heir chuckles in a way that sends chills up everyone's spines.
"I don't need protection Uncle Sev." There comes the annoying nickname he had to endure, ever since Draco turned 9… "But since you asked so nicely, and are as dear to me as family…sure. Have fun." He then turns and walks away, as the Imperious is clearly broken.
"Mr. Malfoy! MR. MALFOY!" He calls after the boy, intent on having a few more words for the first-year. Unfortunately Draco just keeps walking, ignoring the head of his house. Making a note to follow up on that later, Snape turns to the problem at hand: Potter and Weasley. With some muttering under his breath, a mixture of magic and words expressing his annoyance, Professor Snape has both of the boys back in their right mind (as much as can be expected of them) and back with their wands. However, the Draco problem still persists…
