The Yule ball is soon, and Draco needs a partner, as the champions are expected to dance. Of course, he has his pick of any girl in Slytherin and many in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, but his eye is on a particular firecracker, a Gryffindor.
Grinning wide as he strides down the hallway, he quickly finds his target and approaches her stealthily and privately.
"I know you went to Dumbledore." He all but whispers in her ear, in a quiet yet dangerous tone. Her breath catches in her throat and there's a look of fear in her eyes. "None of that." He dismisses her feeling of fear. "I'm not here to punish you." He assures her, his eyes roaming her body. "But I do want you to make it right." Ginny swallows and breathes shakily.
"Wh-what do you want?" She questions.
"Be my date." He demands softly. "To the Yule Ball. I need a dance partner—"
"Isn't that for fourth years and older?" She inquires, finding enough confidence to interrupt him. He nods in response.
"It is." He answers. "But younger students can attend if they're invited, and you're being invited by the main attraction." He all but whispers in her ear once more. She turns away, face red with a heavy blush as she stutters out her next words.
"I-I can't." She barely gets out. With a growing urgency to flee, she pushes past him and almost runs down the hall to escape the jaws of the vicious Dragon. He watches on with a predator's eyes, taking in her every move.

Draco and Fleur hold each other's hands lovingly as they enter the ball. Draco has on the finest of dress robes, while Fleur has on some enticing wear that accentuates her beauty without showing too much. There is shock in the eyes of almost every student and professor, outside of Snape of course, as they watch the much younger champion court the older beauty with a wide grin on his face. Just to make a show of it, Draco turns and captures his partner's lips, and her tongue, as he looks to devour her hungrily and display his dominance. She's shocked at first, but as always, she rolls with it, matching him in his efforts. As they part, she looks upon him with questioning eyes, but she finds no answers.
They mingle among Draco's friends, Blaise and Nott, with the occasional visit and word from some of Fleur's associates at Beauxbaton. It isn't long before it's time for the dance, only…something annoying has come up, straight from the mouth of two headmasters: Dumbledore and the giant woman from the France-based school. As it's never happened before, the professors and the headmasters failed to mention in their speech that each of the champions must have a partner, a non-champion partner, with whom to dance with. The purpose is to represent each school in full, and thus it cannot be two champions dancing together. This means that not only does Draco need to find a date, but he needs to watch another man with his arms around his own.
Immediately he gestures to Blaise, the dark-skinned boy sitting with his own date in Angelina Johnson, the chocolate beauty of Gryffindor that he himself once pursued, and despite the roll of his eyes, he obliges his king in Draco. They exchange a nod.
"Dance with Fleur." He says simply, commands really and Blaise raises an eyebrow and looks at the part-Veela girl standing before him, a giant fount of temptation and seduction. He opens his mouth to question, but the Slytherin King cuts him off. "It's a stupid rule, champions can't dance together for the official dance, and I don't want someone I can't trust with her." Blaise tilts his head at the implication of the words, but finds that he rather enjoys them.
"Alright."
"Good." They exchange another nod.
"Who will you—?" Before he can finish his question, Draco is off, moving in stride, the spitting image of his father as he glides across the room to who else, but Ginny Weasley, his original target.
"Of course." Blaise remarks, shaking his head. Ginny stares up at Draco, frozen in shock as he looks her over thoroughly before scoffing in disgust at her date.
"I need a partner Ginny, so come along." He commands rather forcefully. She hesitates, looking back at Neville, her date for the night, and the chubby boy appears ready to move, to do something in her defense. "I wasn't asking." Draco says softly, meeting her eyes, and then moving his gaze not just to her date, but to her brothers, one by one for only a brief moment. She nods, understanding immediately the threat, as she gives her date an apologetic look.
Despite how he got her there, the dance itself is majestic, and she finds herself surprised at just how good the demon king of Slytherin (patent pending) is. He's so good, so enticing, that she finds herself lost in his movements, in his eyes, and at times when she feels like she's going to stumble or stall, her body somehow corrects itself to match his pace. He too is fully engulfed in their dance, fully enchanted by the fire-haired beauty standing before him, and with every step, the distance between them closes. Soon the dance is over, ended with an exclamation point as Draco leans down and captures the lips of his new partner, in full view of the entire school, in full view of his own date, and in full view of her brothers.

Draco looks down at the lake that sits before him with a scoff on his face. Even if he lacked the help that the other champions received, he had himself and he had Nott, and that was more than enough for a task like this.
Catching Fleur's eye, Draco winks at her, causing his fellow champion and newest lover to flush at his attention. This elicits a genuine smile from the little demon, as he continues to look around the arena, his sharp eye catching any and all people of interest in the crowd. He can see his parents, nervous in anticipation, but here for support. He can see Blaise, brow furrowed as he sits by Nott and the two have a subdued yet spirited discussion. He can see the Weasley family, confused at the absence of their daughter and their son, and he can only shake his head and chuckle at what is to be, as he turns back to the lake and the test begins.
Calmly he walks forward, not doing much outwardly, as the water parts itself for him. With the water parted and the mermen held within their depths, it is a simple task for Draco to find his "most precious thing", the young fire-haired girl, and retrieve her without an ounce of effort. He can see the shock on his parents' face, the despair and the realization on the face of the Weasley family, and the exasperation on his dark-skinned friend's visage, as he holds the girl in hand.
He glances back at the others held in captivity: Granger, held for Krum, the youngest male Weasley held for Potter, and a young girl with a striking resemblance to Fleur, who is no doubt her sister. Perhaps if this were under normal circumstances, he would rescue her as well, as a favor to his lover, but this is a competition, and he intended to dominate.
With a sudden taste for flair, Draco releases his spell, allowing the water to rush in on himself and his prize, much to the horror of all who watch on. Seconds later, he emerges from the waters, his woman still in hand, as they both ride the back of a dragon.
