Adrien stared at himself in the mirror. "I look so preppy!" the other Adrien laughed, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "No, you don't. You kinda look like that guy in the painting "The Scream." "I would scream now, but there are ladies present."
The two Marinette's and Adrien's were all hanging out, and Adrien has suggested an outfit swap, just for fun.
"Just because you two are behind the screen, doesn't mean we can't hear you!" Marinette called. Adrien walked out from behind the screen, fumbling at his friend's jacket.
"Be honest, Marinette. How do I look?" Adrien gulped. "Your the model, you look good in everything," she giggled, getting up and brushing a lock of hair from his face, then they gazed into each other's eyes. "Look at them, yuk! This preppy outfit makes me itch! Plagg, Daggers Out!"
The other Marinette gave Claw an evil eye. "You couldn't handle an outfit swap for five minutes?" "You haven't even changed!" "So impatient," she teased, grabbing the clothes and ruffling Claw's hair as she passed by. It was Claw's turn to blush.
Marinette headed back to, and the boys sat on the chaise. "I vote we show off our outfits," Adrien said. "And get ice cream." "Ice cream? I'm so in!" Claw bumped fists with his buddy.
"You can only get ice cream if you change back and no pouting!" his partner called, and Claw mimicked her talking.
It was Marinette's turn to be shy as she walked out a minute later. "What do you think, Claw?" Claw eyed the outfit up and down. "Flowers, yuk!" "What is it with you and yuk today? Oh, does someone want a belly rub?"
Marinette walked over to Adrien. "They may be good now, but Claw still loves to argue!" Adrien snorted. "I wouldn't mind a belly rub." "No, no, and absolute no! I'm not giving you a belly rub cat suit or not!" "But you give chin scritches," he pouted. "That's different. Now, what's this I hear about ice cream?"
"Fine. Daggers In."
The group left, both couples holding hands. Andre the ice cream man was usually located on Padlock Bridge, a short walk from the bakery.
However, they passed the stone wall that conveniently held a large concentrate of catnip, and Adrien froze. Marinette saw the gleam in his eye. "Don't you think about it!" "But it makes me happy….Plagg, Claws Out!"
Soon, both only Cat and Claw's tails could be seen wandering among the vegetation. Marinette flopped down on the bench next to her friend. "How do you get Claw to behave so well?"
"Like this. Cat, Claw, you get your tails over here, or Marinette and I will eat it." Two tails froze, a green light flashing.
"Looks like someone is in for a bath we get home," Marinette sighed, wrapping her arms around Adrien's waist.
When they got to the ice cream cart, Andre asked if he was seeing double.
"Nope, just a outfit swap!" Marinette grinned. The boys looked hopefully from a sudden game of rock, paper scissors.
We're all so different, in and out of our suits, Marinette thought. But we're all best friends, and that's what matters, outfit swap or not.
