On Today's Episode: The spies face off with Lester once again, hoping that they can snap Caitlin and Dominique out of their trances. Even if they can do that, there's still the matter of what exactly Crawley's big scheme is. It can't be just brainwashing Mandy's old friends, right? When the spies reach Crawley's lair to figure that out, they discover that he has much loftier ambitions this time. Can the spies scuttle this diabolical plan?

Act 2: Down Memory Road

7:59 P.M. – Venice Beach

"Jeez, it's chaos over here," Mat remarked when everyone had arrived at Venice Beach.

"No doubt because of all the flying starfish," Blaine stated.

There was a beachside concert going on, and the starfish blobs were wreaking havoc on the people there.

"Stop right there, Crawley!" Clover demanded. "We've got a bone to pick with you!"

Crawley looked up to see the spies had just cornered him and his cronies.

"Oh, look who crawled back out of the dorm room," Lester sneered.

"Oh, real clever, dipwad," Nick taunted back.

"That's got to be the lamest taunt I've ever heard!" Melissa exclaimed.

"As much fun as it would be to play more games with you all, I do have work to be doing," Crawley sneered again. "I'll let my associates have fun with you instead."

That was when Caitlin and Dominique came out of hiding armed with plenty of ammo.

"Heads up, everyone!" Haruka exclaimed.

"Come on, you two, snap out of it!" Mandy demanded.

There was no twitch on their faces or messages being received to their brains.

"Like we'd listen to someone we don't even know!" Caitlin growled.

"Anyone who messes with our teacher is gonna get spanked!" Dominique proclaimed.

"...oh, we'll see who spanks who," Mandy proclaimed to them.

"And if you want to talk spankings, call Ryan Villopoto!" Mat retorted.

Nick and some of the other spies didn't need three guesses to know what Mat was talking about after the last Supercross in Indianapolis.

"And despite these two may not have deserved to be saved, we will so save them!" Clover added.

"Oh, is that what you truly think?" Crawley chuckled. "We shall we, won't we? Get them, ladies."

Crawley made his retreat while Caitlin and Dominique began firing their starfish cannons, forcing the spies to scatter to avoid them.

"That's what you get for disturbing our research, you little freaks!" Caitlin cackled as she turned around and fired at Mandy, a starfish latching onto her face.

Nick acted quickly, telekinetically yanking the starfish off of Mandy's face before throwing it into the air and obliterating it with a Final Shine Attack.

"You okay there, Mandy?" Nick wondered.

"I should be," Mandy replied. "Thanks for the save."

While this was happening, Bridget transformed into Sonic Mode and started blitzing around the concert area to yank off any starfish that were trying to suck on concert-goers' faces.

After taking care of that, Bridget turned back around and charged towards Caitlin and Dominique, grabbing their starfish cannons and throwing them towards Nick so he could destroy them as well.

"Oh, this isn't good," Caitlin noted as she and Dominique began to retreat.

"Hey, I'm not done trying to talk some sense into you two yet!" Mandy exclaimed.

"Sorry, but we don't have time to play games, either," Dominique retorted. "We have better things to be doing with our time."

"Until then, why don't you play with a little friend of ours?" Caitlin taunted as they made their own retreat.

Before any of the spies could question what exactly they were talking about, a much larger blob dropped down from the sky and landed in front of the spies, its large, singular eye glaring in their direction.

"Okay, what's different about this one?" Mandy wondered.

"Wait just a second," May quipped when she got a good look at the slime creature that was slowly slithering towards them. "Is that... is that supposed to be Slime Eyes?!"

"Wait, you mean that one boss from Link's Awakening?" Alex gasped. "Now I'm starting to wonder if Crawley's secretly a Zelda fan, considering this is the second time he's sic'ed a Zelda boss on us..."

"If that's true, then how do we beat this one?" Haruka wondered.

"Start by attacking its eye," Nick answered as he rushed forward, forming a psychic blade on his right hand and slashing at Slime Eyes', well, eye. With each strike, the blob stretched out further and further, revealing that it actually had two eyes.

"Bridget, charge at that little strand between them!" Nick exclaimed.

"Consider that already done," Bridget giggled, blitzing forward to shoulder-barge her way through the already-thin blob strand connecting the two parts, thus severing their connection and forcing them apart to leave just the two separated eyes.

"Now, just go nuts!" May proclaimed as she whacked one of the eyes with her anchor while Melissa waited for the other eye to jump towards her before activating her Helicopter Hand Fan and whacking it with the blades.

It didn't take much longer for the spies to take down both of the eyes, which eventually keeled over and exploded into globs of slime.

"That... was easy," Nozomi quipped.

"Probably because it was just meant to distract us," Haruka answered. "All three of them probably vamoosed while we were dealing with that."

"Um... are my eyes messed up again, or do I see some kind of floating garden way in the air outside the city?" Mandy wondered, pointing towards what she'd seen so that the spies could check it out as well.

Mat took a closer look, and like Mandy said, it appeared to be a floating garden hanging high in the sky just outside of the city limits.

"...okay, I have several questions," Blaine stated.

"I'm pretty sure I have a feeling what that might be," Nick responded.

"And you would be absolutely correct, Nick," RiCO answered from Nick's X-Powder. "That air garden place is where Crawley's holed up, and no doubt where Caitlin and Dominique are as well."

"Then it looks like that's where we're goin'," May stated. "Shall we, everybody?"

With that in mind, after making sure everybody at the beachside concert was all right, the spies took off into the air towards the floating garden, Nick holding Mandy in his telekinetic grasp on the way.

9:04 P.M. – Crawley's Secret Lair

"Oof, this place looks very strange," Mandy quipped once the spies had touched down in Crawley's secret lair. The lair itself resembled a large greenhouse of sorts with multiple computers lined up across the plants, along with what appeared to be rows and rows of glass tubes where Crawley's memory-altering blobs and starfish were being cultivated.

"Trust me, we say that about a lot of villain lairs," Clover chuckled.

"I'm more concerned with all of this overgrowth," Haruka admitted. "Because that's a lot of blobs and fish that he's growing, and it can't be just for us, can it?"

"RiCO, can you figure anything about this place out?" Sam wondered.

"I'm scanning the computers right now, just give me a sec," RiCO responded, closing her eyes and hacking into the nearby computer console. It only took her about ten seconds to have the machine dancing to her tune, and after fifteen more seconds, a diagram displayed itself on everybody's X-Powders (and DS in Mat's case).

"It looks like... this floating garden was designed to... bombard the entire city with those memory-erasing freaks!" Britney gasped once it clicked what this diagram was about.

"If that's true, then we'd better find Crawley and fast," Nick stated.

"Yeah, let's go give him some much-needed lumps," May proclaimed.

The spies all started to explore the floating garden, Mandy still hoping that Caitlin and Dominique could be snapped out of their trances.

"Just an early heads-up, Mandy," Mat pointed out. "Hope you've packed some patience because saving Caitlin and Dominique is not going to be like flicking off a light switch or something."

"Yes," Clover added. "And NO BACKSTABBING US this time..."

Sam and Alex definitely remembered trying to stop Chet on graduation day from Beverly Hills High, and Mandy bailed out of trying to stop him in the gym.

"Noted," Mandy told Clover and Mat.

"We do need a master plan, though," Haruka stated.

"I say we find where the main garden is and short-circuit where the blobs are being created," Britney suggested.

"Best one I've heard since our last mission," Bridget commented.

The rest of the spies kept moving forward, but the more they moved, the more computers and glass tubes full of blobs and starfish they saw.

"These things aren't worth saving," Sam remarked.

"If only there was a way to get these blobs on our side..." Mat commented.

"I think that's beyond our purview," Nick sighed, since that sounded very ideal.

"Are we any closer?" Alex asked. "I feel like we're going in a maze."

"It does feel that way," May admitted.

She then checked her X-Powder to pinpoint where the main control room was for the floating garden.

"He did create it like a maze," May groaned.

"Frustrating, but expected," Blaine remarked.

"My thoughts exactly," Nick added.

"RiCO, are we any closer?" Alex wondered as she got out her X-Powder.

"I'm glad you asked at this designated time," RiCO told them.

"What's up, RiCO?" Melissa asked.

"These paths depend upon the position of where the blobs are in the hallway," RiCO stated.

The spies all looked to their left at the locations of where Crawley's blobs were in the glass tubes. Three were on top, two were in the middle, and another two were at the very bottom. However, the right side of the wall had a different pattern: one on top, three in the middle, and two on the bottom.

"It's two different sequences," Britney remarked.

"Do we split up or try one path and hope for the best?" Mat asked the group.

May still had her anchor out in case of a sneak attack, but some more mooks came out of nowhere, but she was ready for battle.

"Okay, let's rumble!" May exclaimed and wielded her anchor, but it shot up during one of May's twirls and broke some of the glass tubes.

"Oh, crapbaskets!" Dawn exclaimed.

"What the heck do we do with these... monsters?!" Mandy chastised.

"Well, that's pretty simple," Nick chuckled, his psychic aura flaring to life. "We're gonna kick their asses!"

Nick fired a Final Shine Attack from his right palm and swept it across the area to take out a few of the blobs and knock some mooks back at the same time.

"Let's try not to hit any more blobs," Sam stated. "If we let them out, it might change the path on us."

As more of the mooks began to approach them, May looked up to try and figure out what had made her anchor fly upwards to hit one of the glass tubes, and there she saw a large magnet protruding from the ceiling.

"...oh, you sneaky little punk," Haruka quipped as she fired an Electromagnetic Curling Iron to destroy the magnet.

"Okay, so, one question left," Mandy wondered. "How do we get through this maze if the paths are gonna change by whacking the blobs?!"

"...hmmm," Nick hummed.

"You got something cooking, Nick?" Alex chuckled.

"Something to that effect," Nick quipped, making a mental note of how the paths were arranged before shooting a psychic bolt at one of the glass tubes, and this caused that part of the maze to rotate, leaving the mooks stuck behind the other part and opening a new path to follow.

This little game continued for a couple minutes, with the spies sometimes backtracking to try another path that had been opened up where one had closed off, but thankfully they were able to get out of the maze before too long.

"Okay, so, that was annoying as hell," Mandy quipped.

"Tell me about it," Bridget laughed. "So many of our rogues' gallery are really fond of over-elaborate death traps or quirky little challenges for us to solve in order to proceed."

"Trust me, Mandy, that was tame compared to some of the nonsense we've seen," Clover chuckled.

"I guess I'll have to take your word for it," Mandy noted.

As the group continued to make their way through the floating garden, they began to search for ways they could sabotage Crawley's schemes, since he still had what must have been thousands of blobs and starfish being grown here, and they weren't sure if they could destroy them all in time to prevent Crawley from attacking the city.

"Hey, I think I see something over here," RiCO called out, drawing the spies' attention to another row of computer consoles near the location of another garden of blobs. "Let's see what you've got in store, shall we?"

RiCO did her hacking thing and cracked the computer's encryption codes, and inside its files she noticed a peculiar set of commands.

"Hmmm..." RiCO hummed as she doodled with those particular commands for a couple seconds before smiling at the spies from the computer monitor. "Well, that should help you all out. I just redirected the whole garden to start flying away from the city. By the time they realize what's going on, they're probably going to have a heck of a time trying to get through my hacking to reverse it. Key word being 'trying'."

"I know we say this a lot, but sometimes we don't know what we'd do without you, RiCO," Alex chuckled.

"That should buy us all the time we need," Sam quipped. "Let's keep moving and try to find Crawley before he tries to pull something else out on us."

But as the spies all moved through another crossroads, taking the west path at RiCO's suggestion, they suddenly found themselves confronted by Caitlin and Dominique.

"I'm not even going to bother asking why we're veering off course, because I know you freaks had something to do with that," Caitlin sneered.

"Just you wait until teach gets the controls back online, then you'll be sorry!" Dominique retorted.

"Oh, I think that wait's gonna be a long one," RiCO chuckled.

"Well, then, let's see if this shuts that trap of yours!" Caitlin laughed as she brought out another blob cannon and started firing more of the memory-wiping blobs towards the spies.

As the group all split off to dodge the blobs, Dominique equipped something that resembled Rocket Powered Inline Skates and dashed at high speed towards Mandy.

"Oh, please," Bridget taunted. "You wanna see speed, then I'll show you speed! Sonic Mode, online!"

Before Dominique could get close enough to tackle Mandy, Bridget was already over there, blitzing back and forth to knock Dominique around multiple times before jumping back and leg sweeping her as she tried to retaliate, sending Dominique tumbling directly into Caitlin, thus causing them both to crash into a pile.

Nick took this opportunity to destroy Caitlin's starfish cannon with a Final Shine Attack, only for Caitlin to retaliate by equipping a pair of Groovy Gravity Boots in order to jump onto the ceiling.

"Um, lady, you just made yourself an easier target!" May taunted as she threw her anchor into the ceiling just in front of Caitlin, startling her enough to dislodge her from the ceiling and sending her crashing back to the ground.

Nick took flight and started blasting the errant blobs around them to make sure they couldn't try and ambush the spies.

Seemingly out of options at the moment, Caitlin and Dominique decided to make a hasty retreat.

"Maybe we'd better follow 'em," Haruka stated. "They could lead us right to Crawley."

"Sounds like a plan to me, Haruka," Sam answered. "Let's move."

With that, the spies made a break for wherever Caitlin and Dominique retreated to.

Talk about lucky breaks, Nick thought.

Occasionally, Caitlin and Dominique looked behind to see if the spies were following, but they were slick enough to hide on the roof.

"Those spies are done like dinner soon," Caitlin sneered.

"Pretty soon, we might be one-upping what's-her-name, too..." Dominique added.

Mandy looked furious at hearing that, but Clover and Mat were quick to silence her.

"You're going to make an old man proud," Crawley's voice boomed from who-knew-where.

Alex heard that loud and clear since her right ear was next to a loudspeaker. She couldn't say or do anything to relieve her ear for the time being.

"I'm gonna have a busted eardrum soon..." Alex chastised in a whisper.

"We're close to them, though," Melissa pointed out. "Hold on just a bit more, Alex."

The spies still followed the unsuspecting Caitlin and Dominique through hallway after hallway.

"Do we sneak attack?" Clover wondered.

"That's the idea," Nick remarked.

Fortunately, Caitlin and Dominique did not hear them.

"If only it was this easy," Mat commented quietly.

This went on for a bit more until they found a hallway with a revolving door, and Lester Crawley was on the other side of that door. The spies got off the roof and hid in the nearest corner.

"Teach, we need some extra help," Dominique told Crawley when they found him.

"Those meddlesome spies are way tougher than we thought," Caitlin added.

"No worries, ladies," Crawley sneered. "I have plenty of backup plans involving you both..."

He escorted Caitlin and Dominique into the secret room.

"Something's been tickling my brain for the past little while," Mat told the others.

"What's that?" Blaine wondered.

"Dominique said 'one-upping what's-her-name' about Mandy," Mat pointed out. "Maybe that's a sign that some of their memories are coming back?"

"They might be," Sam deduced.

"But we can't wait on memories coming back naturally," Britney added.

"I say we corner 'em now," Mandy told the spies.

"We should really take our time..." Bridget reasoned.

"No chance of that..." Mandy replied, pointing back.

Alex and May looked forward to see Caitlin and Dominique eyeing them with sinister grins on their faces. Lester Crawley was there looking just as confident as ever.

"I guess you've saved us the trouble of eliminating you..." Crawley sneered.

"I think you've got that twisted around, pal," Nozomi remarked.

"And you got about five seconds to put my buddies back on my side!" Mandy demanded.

That was when the spies could see some twitches on Caitlin and Dominique's faces.

"That's rich coming from you when my new pals will eliminate you outside!" Crawley exclaimed.

Caitlin and Dominique both fired what looked like Wind Tunnel 9000s towards a nearby wall, blasting a hole in it to lead to outside.

"Oh, what, you wanna take this to the sky?" Haruka challenged. "All right, then we'll freakin' do that!"

Both Caitlin and Dominique flew through the hole and into the air just outside the floating garden, held aloft by modified Rocket-Powered Inline Boots, while the rest of the spies followed. Mandy could only stay behind and hope for the best, watching the fight intently.

"You know you don't stand a chance against us like this!" Caitlin taunted.

"Oh, way to be original," Clover retorted. "In case you missed that memo in your brain-bleached state, allow me to clue you in. We've taken care of tons of foes in tons of environments, land, sea and sky! You really think this is gonna be any different?!"

"We'll see how long you're flapping those dirty gums of yours once we're through with you!" Dominique exclaimed as she flew forward.

Clover unfurled an Extendable Mascara Brush, unfolded it to its full length, and started using it as a makeshift staff to fend off Dominique while Caitlin flew over to confront the rest of the spies.

Bridget weaved through each of Caitlin's wild punches, still as agile as ever despite knowing that she couldn't really use Sonic Mode in the air (it was meant more for land and sea, where she could use her legs) before blowing her backwards with a Helicopter Hand Fan.

After dodging another few swings from Clover, Dominique ducked backwards before firing a Phase Changer Phaser to liquefy the Extendable Mascara Brush. Clover didn't even have time to gasp in shock as Dominique fired it again, straight for her.

Thankfully, this time, Nick encased Clover inside a psychic bubble so that the Phase Changer Phaser shot harmlessly dissipated upon hitting the bubble.

"Oof, that was too close," Clover sighed in relief. All of the spies knew that the Phase Changer Phaser was never to be used on anything living, as it would be instantly fatal, as demonstrated when the Nick from the Shatterverse had taken a shot from it to save his version of Alex. "Thanks for the save, Nick."

"Yeah, we're not having a repeat of what happened in the Shatterverse, trust me," Nick quipped before destroying Dominique's Phase Changer Phaser with a Final Shine Attack.

"You haven't beaten us yet!" Caitlin exclaimed as she dual-wielded Electromagnetic Curling Irons and started firing them wildly, keeping everyone on the move.

Sam quickly wrapped herself in a Cashmere Deflector Shield to block the shots that came her way, while Nick projected a psychic wall in front of Caitlin to get her to stop firing like a mad cowboy.

"Yeah, doesn't feel so good now, does it?" Nick quipped.

A loud shout caught the spies' attention, and they all turned back to the floating garden to see that Crawley had snuck up behind Mandy and grabbed her while everyone else was busy.

"H-Hey, let me go, you old geezer!" Mandy growled.

"...that's the idea," Crawley cackled.

Before Mandy could ask what he meant by that, Crawley shoved Mandy through the hole in the wall and out of the floating garden, causing her to start rapidly falling.

"Oh, jeez!" Clover shouted, attempting to fly after Mandy only to be nearly grazed by another Wind Tunnel 9000 shot from Dominique.

"You're staying right here," Dominique taunted.

"Um, in case you missed it, your boss just sent your friend flying!" Clover retorted.

That seemingly got through to Caitlin and Dominique for a few brief seconds, as they glanced down in shock before regaining their hardened expressions.

Nick quickly flew down after Mandy, reaching his hands out to catch her in his telekinetic hold before she could get too far away.

"Excuse me, madame, but I believe you're on the wrong flight," Nick teased.

"Oof, tell me about it," Mandy quipped once she knew for sure that she was safe. "Thanks for coming to my rescue, by the way."

"It's kinda what I do," Nick replied.

"Now, can you take me back up to the garden? I wanna pop that geezer for what he did," Mandy proclaimed.

"That was the plan, really," Nick chuckled as he flew back towards the floating garden with Mandy in tow, staying far enough away from the battle so that Caitlin and Dominique wouldn't spot them and try to throw a wrench into that plan.

"Will you just freakin' sit still already?!" Blaine shouted as he continued to fire his Boomerang Bazooka towards Caitlin, only for Dominique to sneak up and kick it out of his hands.

"We'll sit when you and ol' whats-her-name are nothing but a memory," Dominique growled.

Caitlin flew forward and attempted to gut-check Blaine, only for Nozomi to come flying in and whack her across the face with a flying windmill kick that sent her reeling.

"No gut checks at this altitude, lady," Nozomi taunted. "Your stomachs will thank you for it later."

While this melee was continuing, Nick flew back through the hole in the garden wall, setting Mandy down on safe ground.

"Now where is that old jerk?" Mandy wondered.

"I think he went down that way," Nick quipped, pointing to the southwest. "Can all of you handle those two? Mandy and I are going after the bad doc."

"Go and kick what's left of his teeth in, got it?" Alex laughed as she dodged another strike from Caitlin.

"Duly noted," Mandy chuckled as she and Nick set off to find Crawley.

"I swear, our rouges' gallery is really getting much more demented lately if they're constantly resorting to what's essentially cold-blooded murder," Nick noted.

"I'm just glad it doesn't seem to be everybody, huh?" Mandy quipped. "It must be hard dealing with so many nutcases like that on what's gotta be a daily basis, huh?"

"Really, Mandy, it just comes down to experience," Nick admitted. "With how long we've all been working for W.O.O.H.P., we've gained so much experience with our rogues' gallery that nothing really surprises us anymore. The big surprises usually come from other places like alternate dimensions."

"...you've traveled to other dimensions before?" Mandy gasped.

"Oh, trust me, Mandy, we could tell you a lot of stories about our dimensional travels," Nick laughed.

"Well, then, it's too bad you won't be getting the chance to tell those stories, huh?"

("Wake Up Your Hero" by Lyn Inaizumi plays)

Nick and Mandy both turned around to see Caitlin and Dominique approaching them both wearing modified Brute Suits that weren't as bulky, no doubt to allow for greater freedom of movement, but were still armored enough to protect them.

"Our boss simply let loose a bunch of his blob boys on those interlopers to keep them busy," Caitlin laughed.

"And we made our way here to stop you from going any further," Dominique cackled. "You're officially through screwing with our research!"

"Hey, don't you have something that can break through brainwashing?" Mandy asked. "You used it on me one time, right?"

"Yeah, but it looks like there's something in those suits that seems to be trying to interfere with that," Nick quipped. "Basically, we're gonna have to wreck those suits before I can pulse 'em awake."

"You won't be getting that chance!" Caitlin growled as she lunged forward, punching forward to try and knock Mandy for a loop.

Instead, Mandy ducked to the right and grabbed Caitlin by the wrist to flip her over onto her back.

Dominique threw a Boomerang Buzzsaw Barrette towards Mandy, only for Nick to shoot it out of the sky before knocking Dominique down with a Final Shine Attack.

Much to his surprise, Dominique's Brute Suit simply absorbed much of the impact, and she quickly got back up.

"Nice try, but that mind hooey isn't going to do much to me with this on," Dominique laughed.

"...well, then you won't mind if I take it off," Nick chuckled as he rushed in to attack again while Mandy dealt with Caitlin.

"Hey, dumbass, what part of 'that didn't work' didn't register in your ears?!" Dominique laughed.

Nick simply formed a psychic blade on his hand and slashed a few times at Dominique's Brute Suit, actually causing it to fall apart. Nick had remembered their first mission when Bridget had joined the team, when Macker had tried something like that.

"Try registering that," Nick taunted as he pivoted around to go after Caitlin.

"Stay still, you!" Caitlin exclaimed.

"Yeah, how about no?" Mandy retorted as she ducked under another strike from Caitlin and ducked down to leg-sweep her off of her feet.

Nick too this chance to slash at the Brute Suit a few times, causing it to fall off in pieces like earlier.

"Ooh, this isn't good," Caitlin conceded.

"Yeah, we need to find teach," Dominique responded. "He'll know what to do."

Before Caitlin and Dominique could make their retreat, however, Nick raised his hand to project a psychic barrier in front of the only exit from the room.

"Oh, no, no, we're not done yet," Nick retorted. "We've kinda had enough of this dumb runaround, so we need you both to wake up right now."

Caitlin and Dominique only had time to take a step backwards as Nick rushed them both, throwing his hands out to unleash a psychic pulse all around him that floored both girls quickly.

Mandy stared on in hope as both Caitlin and Dominique picked themselves up, shaking their heads as if to clear mental cobwebs from their minds. And that was typically a sign that Nick had broken their brainwashing.

"...ugh, why does my head feel like it's been put through the blender and served with the special sauce?" Caitlin groaned.

"That's... an image," Mandy quipped.

"Oh, you say that, too," Nick chuckled.

"W-wait, is that..." Dominique gasped when she got a good look at Mandy. "Oh my gosh, MANDY!"

With that, both Caitlin and Dominique flung themselves forward to hug Mandy, clearly happy to see her after so long.

"Hehehe, I missed you guys, too," Mandy laughed.

"I just have one question, though," Caitlin wondered. "What, exactly, is this place? Last thing I remember is making our way to Mali-U so we could see you, and..."

"HEEEEEEEEY!"

"Right on schedule," Nick stated as the rest of the spies finally caught up with them.

"Those two gave us the slip, and we had to beat some blobs, so..." Clover gasped, only to see both Caitlin and Dominique standing there.

"No need to worry, ladies and gentlemen," Nick quipped. "Mandy and I got them back to normal."

"Thank goodness," Alex chuckled.

Suddenly, Caitlin and Dominique both looked a little anxious, almost like they were thinking something along the lines of what Mandy had been thinking when she realized her behavior in their high school years.

"Um... Clover, if it's not too much trouble..." Dominique sighed.

"Hey, apology accepted," Clover quipped, catching them both by surprise. "Mandy did the same thing earlier, so we kinda figured it was coming here, too."

"Okay, now that that's been settled, I'd like to repeat my earlier question about what the heck we're doing in a place like this," Caitlin wondered.

"Long story short, someone's been messing with your minds," Sam answered. "And on that note, we should probably go and find Crawley before this gets even more out of hand."

"He's not too far ahead of you," RiCO stated from Nick's X-Powder. "You should still be able to catch up with him."

"Good, because I've still got some lumps of my own to dole out," Mandy proclaimed.

"Shall we, ladies and gentlemen?" May chuckled.

With that in mind, the spies all headed off down the nearby hallway, with Mandy, Caitlin and Dominique not too far behind, ready to settle the score with Crawley once and for all.

To be concluded...

Next time...

Mat: All right, Crawley, this is the end of the line!

Alex: Yeah, why don't you just give yourself up already? We know you're not a fighter, so...

Crawley: True, but that doesn't really mean much, does it? A true scientist doesn't fight with his body, but his mind.

Mandy: Oh, just stuff it down your craw, you wrinkled old goon, we're sick of this runaround already!

Haruka: Yeah, we know you've got something waiting for us, so just bring it out so we can trash it!

Crawley: ...if you insist.

Dominique: ...what in the hell am I looking at?!

Nick: Trust me, Dominique, we've had to face more than our fair share of crap like this.

May:...wait, hold in, is that...?!

Nick: LOOK OUT!

Clover: All right, now you've really crossed a line, buddy, and we've got a beatdown to hand out, next time on the final act of Totally Spies: Mad Memory Mixup, "Path of Remembrance"!

Mandy: I'm still shocked that this thing's mostly practical.

Haruka: Our effects department's one of the best in the business.

Nick: Oh, just you wait until you see what they're cooking up for the next movie.
