Despite the play being the strangest rendition of Snow White the school has ever seen, it turned out to be more entertaining than anyone expected. Many of the actors gathered in the lobby to greet family and friends who came to the show. Apple and Raven, who were still in costume, were posing together as people took pictures on their phones. The two princesses laughed and smiled like they were best friends forever after!

When Greenly walked into the lobby, she couldn't help but notice people staring at her strangely. Instead of wearing her royal clothes, Greenly was dressed in her casual clothes; a green tank top, black compression shorts, and gold sneakers. Her long, red hair was messily pulled back with a gold crown hair claw clip.

But Greenly saw people stepping out of her way. Almost as if they were...frightened by her. She could even see the fear in some of their eyes. Were they alarmed to see Greenly's lean and muscular figure in that outfit? Greenly sneered off their stares and walked off. Those people were probably just like Briar and the other snooty royals; people who think that being athletic wasn't ladylike. But Greenly enjoyed fitness and believes that women can excel at any sport they put their mind to.

As Greenly walked straight through the crowd hat made a path for her, she stopped when she spotted Ian and Cedar leaving the lobby together. And they looked...happy?

Ian and Cedar? Together? Greenly was grateful to Ian for his idea of having Apple play the Evil Queen and Raven as Snow White. But why would a boy who always lie be hanging out with a girl who always tells the truth? They make a more odd pair than Raven and Apple. But Greenly knew Ian was harmless. So she shrugged off her suspicions. After all, she had bigger things to worry about, like her new roommate; Briar Beauty.

Inside Headmaster Grimm's office, Justine sat across the headmaster's desk. "So, how'd you like the show, Headmaster?" she asked with a proud smile.

"What in the kingdom was that?!" Headmaster Grimm roared. "I told you to cast Raven as the Evil Queen for the play!"

But Justine wasn't fazed by the adult's anger. "No, you didn't."

"What?!" Headmaster Grimm growled.

"You said, and I quote; 'to cast Apple and Raven the lead roles'. But you didn't say which lead roles."

A grandfather clock chimed and a mouse tried to run up the clock, but he slipped and fell. Luckily, he opened the parachute he was wearing and safely landed on the floor. But Headmaster Grimm didn't even notice the clumsy mouse. He was too stunned by what Justine had said.

"The whole point of this play was to inspire Raven to follow her evil destiny, right? Well, if you want to inspire someone, you need to catch them completely off-guard, that's why I had Raven play Snow White and Apple play the Evil Queen. It's all part of my vision." Justine explained.

When the Headmaster's shock died down, he cleared his throat to speak. "I see...and how does your 'vision' inspire Ms. Queen?"

"It's simple. Raven wants to be a do-gooder. But being a do-gooder has it's price; you'll be an easy target for villains. That's why I had her play Snow White, to help her understand being good isn't all it's cracked up to be. As for Apple, I know she would be great to play Snow White. But for Raven to be inspired, she needs to understand that being the villain isn't all bad. So, who better than Apple to play the Evil Queen? Even she could make the drab Evil Queen more hexciting."

Justine's words made Headmaster Grimm think. "Hmm..." He stroked his mustache and finally cracked a smile. "Well done, Miss Dancer. You and the whole cast did well and everyone else certainly earned your hextra credit. You may go now."

Justine stood up. "Thank you, sir." And the princess left the room. Soon as the door slammed, Headmaster Grimm's smile dipped to a frown and slammed his fists on his desk, dipping his head in defeat.

"Curses! I was so close! Raven Queen must have found that loophole in my words and used it to finesse playing a villain!" He seethed in rage. "Why must that girl deny her destiny?! Don't these kids understand the consequences of their actions?! If Raven won't become the Evil Queen, then the school and the world of Ever After is doomed!"

"Well, we can't have that. Now, can we?"

Headmaster Grimm looked up and saw a slender man with short black hair that was slicked back, a pencil-thinned mustache, and fair skin. He wore a black tuxedo with an orange tie and glasses. The man seemed to smile at the headmaster's anguish.

Headmaster Grimm gasped in shock. "You! How did you get in my office?!"

"Using a school play to inspire Raven Queen to be evil?" The man raised his glasses to reveal his dark eyes. "Wow, Milton. I knew you were a desperate man. But that plan was nothing more than a cry for help."

"So, you came all this way back to school just to mock me?" Headmaster Grimm sneered. "Maybe I should have Mr. Badwolf escort you out! He'll be thrilled to see you again."

But the mystery man was unfazed. "If you throw me out, who's going to help you get Raven to accept her destiny once and for all?"

The headmaster paused, then folded his arms. "I'm listening."

"It's simple. I help you, you help me." The man reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a rolled up parchment that glowed yellow. "All you have to do is sign this magically binding permit that allows me to do a certain chore. In exchange, I hook you up with a foolproof plan to have Raven sign the Storybook of Legends."

The man gave Milton the contract. He unrolled it and read it carefully. Very carefully.

"So, do we have a deal?" The man offered his writing quill.

And Milton took the quill. "Deal." He wrote his name on the parchment. The parchment glowed and vanished into sparkles.

The mystery man chuckled. "Alright, now, here's what you need to do..."

As the sun was setting, Greenly had finally finished unpacking her belongings into her new dorm with help from Raven and Raoul. "Thanks for helping me move in, guys." She looked up at her bed of many mattresses. After the day she's had, the princess was looking forward to a good night's sleep.

"No problem." Raven said. She used her magic to carry Greenly's luggage while Raoul used his enhanced strength. "I still can't believe Headmaster Grimm is making you move in with Briar."

"I know, right? Wasn't that stupid play punishment enough?" Greenly let out a groan. "I don't think I'll be able to survive the rest of the school year like this!"

"Um...hello?" A meek voice spoke.

Greenly, Raven, and Raoul looked around to see Ashlynn Ella holding a shoe box. "Hey, Greenly." Ashlynn said as she walked in. "I have a little welcome-home present for you. It's a new pair of shoes."

The princess was surprised by the gesture. "Uh, thanks." Greenly took the box, then blinked. "Wait. How do you even know my shoe size?"

Ashlynn smiled. "It's a Cinderella thing. All I need is one look at a person's feet and I know their shoe size."

"Really? Just one look?!" Greenly questioned.

"Yep. One look, that's all I need." Ashlynn started bouncing on her toes. "Well, are you going to open it?!" Another trait of being Cinderella's daughter was an obsession with shoes.

Greenly opened the box and everyone, even Greenly was amazed. Inside was a pair of emerald green velvet high heels. Greenly set the heels on the floor, removed her sneakers and socks, and slipped her feet in the new shoes. "It's been a while since I've worn heels. I hope I can make them work..."

At that moment, Blondie Lockes came rushing into the room with her MirrorPad. "This is Blondie Lockes with this episode of, 'Just Right'!" She held her device right up to Greenly's face. "Greenly Pea! The word is all over the school that you're now roommates with Ashlynn Ella and Briar Beauty! Even though Briar is one of the most popular princesses at school, rumor has it, that you have some of grudge against her! Is this true?!"

Greenly scowled. "It's none of your business, you muckraking loser!" She jumped back and kicked the MirrorPad out of Blondie's hands. As the device flew in mid-air, Greenly jumped high and grabbed it. She landed safely and ran to the balcony window, kicked it open, then threw the MirrorPad out the window like a frisbee.

It took a moment for everyone to collect themselves after seeing Greenly's amazing display of athleticism. Finally, Raven spoke. "Whoa! Greenly! That was not cool!" she chided.

Before Greenly could retort, a girl's scream shot out through the window. Reacting fast, Greenly ran out to the balcony and saw Holly O'Hair being restrained by two masked thugs wearing white and blue varsity jackets.

A third masked thug stood before Holly wielding a giant pair of scissors! "Hold her down while I cut her hair!"

"LET ME GO!" Holly screamed.

"Shut up!" One of her captors snapped as he and his partner pinned the princess down.

As the scissor-wielding attacker was about to clip Holly's hair, Raoul Sapphire dropped down from the balcony and behind the would-be hair clipper. In Raoul's arms were Greenly and Raven. As the girls were set to the ground, the two attackers pulled out magic wands from their belt holsters.

Raoul swung his mighty left arm and smacked the scissor wielder aside, knocking out cold to the ground. Greenly skillfully front-flipped all the way up to the first wand wilder and side-kicked the weapon out of his hand. Then she grabbed the stunned thug by the arm and threw him over her shoulder.

The other attacker aimed his wand at Raven and fired a blast of green magic. Angered, Raven gathered her own magic in her palms and fired full blast at the stranger. He tried to make a magic shield, but Raven's power was too strong. The magic shield broke, the wand broke, and the attacker was blown up in a purple mushroom cloud!

"Whoa! Raven! That was sick!" Raoul said. "How'd you do that?!"

Raven looked at her hands. "I-I don't know." She breathed out. "It just came out of me!"

"Holly!" Greenly rushed to her friend and helped her up. "Holly! Are you alright?!"

"I am now!" Holly hugged Greenly. "You guys saved my hair! And my life!"

"What was that all about?!" Raven asked. Before Holly could answer, the attacker Greenly tossed staggered up and tried to grab his wand, but he was zapped by a blast of blue magic. He fell to the ground and started snoring loudly. Everyone gasped as Faybelle Thorn landed on the scene.

"Faybelle?! What are you doing here?!" Greenly asked.

Faybelle frowned. "My mom blew me off so she could have a 'private family talk' with Amber. So, I flew off and saw this firework show going on." She used her foot to roll over her sleeping victim. She reached down and pulled off his ski mask, revealing a teenage boy with curly brown hair and a chubby face. Upon seeing his varsity jacket, she sneered. "These dorks are from Merlin Academy!"

Everyone gasped. Merlin Academy was the rival school of Ever After High. Founded by the famous Merlin, it's where young witches and wizards hone their magic skills. And they've been known for their magical pranks on Ever After High.

"But why would they want to steal Holly's hair?" Raven wondered out loud.

"Duh! Because she's the daughter of Rapunzel!" Faybelle rolled her eyes at Raven. "Her hair costs a fortune! And who knows? Maybe they'd use that hair for some kind of ingredient for a weird school project!"

"Well, we better tell Headmaster Grimm about these guys and quick!" Raoul said.

Ashlynn and Blondie popped out of the bushes. Ashlynn was holding up her MirrorPad. "No need! I broadcasted the whole thing!"

"What the hex?!" Raven said, startled. "How did you guys get down here?!"

Blondie smiled and gave a wink. "A good reporter never reveals her secrets."

Ashlynn frowned. "Blondie, you didn't even do anything. I called in a griffon to give us a lift down here." she chided

Faybelle reached into her teal purse and pulled out Blondie's MirrorPad. "By the way, who's MirrorPad is this? I found it in the woods and it still works."

"That's mine!" Blondie happily bounced over to the dark fairy. "Thank goodness!"

Faybelle raised an eyebrow. "This is yours?"

Blondie nodded. "Yeah! Thanks for finding it, Fay-"

Faybelle's eyes flashed and the MirrorPad turned grey, crumbling into a pile of ashes that landed in front of Blondie's feet. Faybelle smiled at Blondie's shocked face, which quickly turned to anger. Faybelle shrugged. "Oops, my bad." she said with a snort.

Everyone else frowned at Faybelle and walked away. But Faybelle tapped Greenly on the shoulder. "Hey, Pea." She checked to make sure everyone else was gone and they were.

Greenly turned to Faybelle. "What?" Her eyes shot up with alarm as Faybelle raised her hands and chanted a spell.

I cast this incantation, soundproof our conversation!

Light blue magic formed above the girls' heads and grew into a dome around them! Greenly looked around, frantic with fear and worry.

Faybelle raised a hand. "Relax. I just cast a silent spell around us." She pointed to the magic dome. "Under this soundproof field, any noise we make can't be heard and no outside noises can get in. I just don't want Blondie or anyone else eavesdropping on what I'm about to say."

Greenly couldn't help but take a step back. "Well, what is it?!"

Faybelle hesitated, but managed to speak. "Look, I'm not the kind of villain who thanks people all whilly-nilly. But...I want to thank you for saving Holly."

"You're thanking me for saving someone?! Alright, what are you up to?!" With a fierce look in her eyes, Greenly raised her fists and took a fighting stance. She looked ready to rumble!

"Calm down, Greenly! Geez, you're more paranoid than I am! And I'm not up to anything!" Faybelle retorted. "Holly's a part of my cheer squad and we have a pep rally coming up! So, I'm thanking you for saving her! I mean, as head cheerleader, Holly is basically my property."

Greenly blinked. "Wait, Holly's part of the cheer squad?!"

"Uh, yeah. You didn't know?" Faybelle asked incredulously. "Don't you ever come to our games?"

"No." Despite being athletic, Greenly did not do sports, especially school sports. She thought they were nothing but a waste of students' time and energy while the system milks their talent for everything it's worth. And cheerleading was the worst because it's about hapless teens loudly vocalizing their support for the crooked system that is Ever After High. But Greenly kept her words inside because Faybelle was a cheerleader and Greenly did NOT want to have a curse put on her. At that moment, a new thought entered Greenly's mind. "Faybelle, why are you even a cheerleader in the first place?"

"Head cheerleader." Faybelle corrected.

"Head cheerleader." Greenly repeated. "I mean, it doesn't make sense. You're obviously the baddest villain in school. But you're in a sport that's all about being cheerful and providing pep. So, what's the deal?"

Faybelle shrugged. "It's no big deal. I just like cheerleading." she simply answered. "In fact, cheerleading makes me a better dark fairy!" She smiled proudly. "Whenever I cheer a spell, it makes it stronger!"

Greenly's jaw dropped. "Really?"

Faybelle tossed her ponytail with sass. "You know it. I also know that you got some serious moves! You took down that big goon like he was nothing! And in those heels too! You're a natural! Have you ever considered being a cheerleader?"

"Me?! A cheerleader?!" Greenly couldn't believe her ears! Was Faybelle joking?! She couldn't be. Faybelle never jokes when it comes to cheerleading!

"Look, I know about your new living arrangements with Briar because Headmaster Grimm wants you to be a joiner, a people person or whatever after. Right?" asked the dark fairy.

"Right..."

"Then what better way to show him than joining my squad? And, hex, if you pull this off, maybe the headmaster will move you out of Briar's dorm!" Faybelle grinned and raised a brow. "Unless you want to spend the rest of the school year making bracelets with Briar and playing spin the bottle with Ashlynn's smelly animal friends. So, what do you say?"

Greenly's phone pinged. She looked at it and saw a text message from Raven. With it was a picture of Briar and her mom fast asleep in Greenly's bed.

Came back to to find this. Somehow, they managed to climb all the way to the top of your bed and fell asleep. We'll have Briar moved to her bed while Headmaster Grimm moves Sleeping Beauty to a private room to spend the night.

Greenly sighed. She saw the knowing smile on Faybelle's face. "See you at tryouts tomorrow?" asked the dark fairy.

"Count on it."
