Ash had barely settled back into his chair, trying to shake off the lingering discomfort left by Orochimaru's unsettling visit. He'd faced so many bizarre challengers recently, and each one brought their own weird energy into his home. Now, as he tried to relax, his mind was still buzzing with questions about what the next day would bring.

Surely this is it for a while, Ash thought, hopeful that he could finally catch a break.

But his hopes were quickly dashed as a sudden gust of wind blew through the open window, rustling the curtains and sending Pikachu tumbling off the couch in surprise.

"Pika!" Pikachu yelped, scrambling to his feet and shaking his head.

Ash stood up, his body tensing. "What now?" he muttered. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of wild character would show up this time.

He didn't have to wait long for the answer. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a figure perched on the windowsill, balanced effortlessly on one , reddish-pink hair in a ponytail, red eyes and a slightly above-average bust. She wears a fuchsia camisole that leaves her belly button and stomach visible, a light pink jacket with fuchsia flowers at the end and on the ends of the sleeves that hang on her shoulders, white-bright blue skinny jeans that are unzipped and unbuttoned with a unbuckled belt and Black High Heeled Sandals.

"Yo!" she called out cheerfully, hopping into the room with a fluid motion that reminded Ash of a dancer. She landed gracefully, the tip of her sword barely brushing the ground as she straightened up and grinned at him. "Ash Ketchum, right? The Monarch?"

Ash blinked, his mouth opening slightly in surprise. "Uh… yeah, that's me."

The young woman laughed, resting her sword against her shoulder as she approached him. "I knew it! I've heard all about you and your achievements. Super impressive for someone so young."

Ash rubbed the back of his neck, a slight blush creeping onto his face. He wasn't used to getting so many compliments, especially from someone as confident and cool as this girl. "Thanks, I guess. But who are you?"

"Oh, right, my bad!" She tapped the hilt of her katana with a light flick of her wrist. "I'm Yuzuriha, from the Kanzakai district. I roam around during something called the Hollow Night, keeping the peace. I heard about your title as Monarch and thought, 'Wow, this guy must be pretty strong!' So, I came to see for myself."

Ash smiled awkwardly, still a little flustered. "You, uh, think I'm strong?"

Yuzuriha nodded enthusiastically. "Totally! But, I gotta admit, you're also pretty cute!" She winked at him, causing Ash's face to flush even more. Pikachu chuckled to himself at Ash's reaction.

"W-wait, what?" Ash stammered, his brain struggling to process the sudden compliment. Cute? Was she serious?

Yuzuriha laughed again, waving her hand dismissively. "Relax, kiddo, I'm just teasing. You're like a little brother type, you know? Someone who could really use an older sister to help him get even stronger. What do you say? Need a big sis to watch your back?"

Ash blinked, completely baffled by the turn this conversation was taking. "Uh… I mean, I've got plenty of friends and teammates to help me, but I'm not really looking for, uh… an older sister?"

Yuzuriha grinned, clearly enjoying his confusion. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Just throwing it out there." She stepped back, giving her katana a twirl before pointing it toward Ash. "Anyway, I didn't come here just to chat. How about a friendly sparring match?"

Ash let out a sigh of relief. Now this was something he could understand. "A sparring match, huh? Well, I don't usually fight with swords, but I can give it a try."

Yuzuriha smiled brightly. "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you. Just show me what you've got."

Ash stepped forward, giving Pikachu a nod. "You ready for this, buddy?"

"Pika-pi!" Pikachu replied, sparks already crackling around his cheeks.

Yuzuriha's eyes lit up as she watched Pikachu prepare. "Whoa! You've got some serious teamwork with your Pokémon, huh? This is gonna be fun!"

Ash grinned, feeling his confidence returning. "You bet! Let's see if you can keep up."

Without warning, Yuzuriha dashed forward, moving with a speed that caught Ash off guard. Her katana sliced through the air, but it wasn't aimed to hit; instead, it was more like a test, probing Ash's reactions.

"Lucario, Aura Sphere!" Ash called out.

Lucario materialized beside him, conjuring a bright blue orb of energy in his paw. He launched it toward Yuzuriha, who sidestepped effortlessly, her body twisting and bending with the grace of a seasoned fighter.

"Nice one, but you'll have to be quicker than that!" she teased, spinning her katana around and deflecting Lucario's follow-up attack with a swift motion.

Ash's eyes widened. Yuzuriha wasn't just fast—she was really fast.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded.

Pikachu unleashed a powerful surge of electricity, aiming directly for Yuzuriha. But with a single leap, she vaulted into the air, flipping gracefully and landing behind them. "Close, but not quite!" she said with a playful grin.

"Wow, she's good," Ash muttered under his breath. "Okay, new strategy. Lucario, close combat! Pikachu, quick attack!"

Lucario charged forward with blinding speed, while Pikachu darted alongside him, the two moving in perfect sync. Yuzuriha's eyes gleamed with excitement as she faced their combined assault.

"Now this is what I'm talking about!" she said, parrying Lucario's blows with swift, precise movements. But Pikachu came in low, surprising her with a quick dash that grazed her leg.

"Gotcha!" Ash shouted.

Yuzuriha laughed, hopping back with a graceful spin. "You're quick learners, I'll give you that." She sheathed her katana and held up a hand. "Alright, alright, I think I've seen enough."

Ash, Pikachu, and Lucario stopped, breathing heavily but smiling. "That was fun!" Ash said, impressed by Yuzuriha's skill and speed.

Yuzuriha walked over to him, giving him a light pat on the shoulder. "You've got some serious potential, Ash. You and your Pokémon are a great team. I can see why you're the Monarch."

Ash rubbed the back of his head, smiling sheepishly. "Thanks. You're pretty amazing yourself."

Yuzuriha gave him a thumbs-up. "Well, if you ever need a sparring partner—or a big sister—you know where to find me."

Ash laughed, still a little confused by the big sister thing, but he appreciated the sentiment. "I'll keep that in mind."

With a final wave, Yuzuriha turned and hopped back onto the windowsill. "Until next time, Ash Ketchum. Stay sharp!"

And with that, she disappeared into the night, leaving Ash feeling a strange mix of relief and amusement. As Pikachu and Lucario settled down, Ash leaned back in his chair.

"Well, that was… different," he muttered, smiling to himself.

One thing was for sure—he never knew what to expect next.
