Total Drama X: Hotel Rockies
The rest of 'em.
Since, you know, I don't have that much better to do.
thenewsubwayguy here, back from the hyperbolic time chamber that I apparently reside in, because as much as there was a good massive cast with the 70 that was already there in the first draft of the roster. (Denji, Roxanne, Broly, Katie, Jam, Mob, Parvana and Yor being some of them.), and new ones (
You had your 30 players, now you get almost another 30 more to deal with and there's not going to be any more.
Yes, Mirabel and Eda are in, I just wanted to say that.
More importantly, there's really no definitive release date other than this thing coming in 2023, due to me being stuck with Ultimate islands and more importantly, me trying to think of a way how this ain't just Ultimate Islands 2: Displaced in Time (which it is.)
And here's the faces that showed up in the previous chapter:
#1: Denji (Chainsaw Man, Mr. Zero)
#2: Goldilocks (Puss In Boots: The Last Wish)
#3: Kaiji Itou (Kaiji)
#4: Reagan Ridley (Inside Job, Neon-Trainer03)
#5: He Dachun (Scissor Seven)
#6: Roxanne Wolf (FNAF: Security Breach, UnchartedCoast2)
#7: Lusamine (Pokemon: Sun & Moon, ChaosBlade327)
#8: Snively Robotnik (Sonic SATAM. G-man 2.0)
#9: Broly (Dragon Ball Super, ChaosBlade327)
#10: Jam Kuradoberi (Guilty Gear, Ginrai12)
#11: Katie Mitchell (The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Mr. Zero)
#12: Dark Pit (Kid Icarus: Uprising, that guy)
#13: Isabella Shapiro (Phineas & Ferb)
#14: Asahi Kobe (Happy Sugar Life, 1602jaw)
#15: Silver The Hedgehog (Sonic, EpicNinjaFWRY)
#16: Roll (Megaman, must have been deleted...)
#17: Cinnamon J. Scudworth (Clone High, G-man 2.0.)
#18: Yor Briar (SPY x FAMILY, That guy)
#19: Shrek (Shrek, Mr. Zero)
#20: Angelia Avalone (Aracana Heart, kaindol51)
#21: Spamton S. Spamton (Deltarune, yet another guest)
#22: Parvana (The Breadwinner, 1602jaw)
#23: Mr. Gar (OK K.O., G-man 2.0)
#24: Shigeo Kageyama (Mob Psycho 100, JMeowstick)
#25: Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk (Marvel Comics, Neon-Trainer03)
#26: Pannacotta Fugo (Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, G-man 2.0)
#27: Trevor Belmont (Castlevania)
#28: Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit)
#29: Captain Amelia (Treasure Plant, from Ultimate Islands, extra, wishofalifetime)
#30: Papyrus (Undertale, from Ultimate Islands, extra, JMeowstick)
And here's the new arrivals on the block...including numbers 31 to 48 (at least)
#31: Meilin Lee (Turning Red, 2022)
Hey, we need a Canadian contestants and if no-one from the Total Drama franchise gets requested..., she's a great stand-in for a bunch of the smarter contestants.
Being a 13 year old that can turn into a red panda and well, she's your typical 13 year old in 2002, being a boyband fan, slightly boy-crazy, well-meaning, but desperate to win.
For the record, Ming just wants her to win once she finds out.
#32: Gru (Despicable Me, 2010)
The bad guy that actually has become good, Gru's the main dude in a bunch of movies that started sucking in 2013, as the original movie's actually quite fine and so is he, especially at the end of the movie.
As much as he is predictable, there's no way that he is that in the context of a reality show thanks to his nature of a former bad guy and since he has a ton of evil inventions, he's ridiculously smart coming only barely being beaten by Reagan and Cinnamon Scudworth and potentially tying Fugo in that.
Also, he's a dad, which we kinda have Mr. Gar for, but he's very different from Gar with him adopting three daughters, which he loves very dearly and also a secret agent wife.
#33: Doctor Livesey (Treasure Island, 1988)
You'd think that a doctor would not be crazy, but in comes Doctor Livesey in the 18th century...never mind, this makes sense, in this season full of serious people and comedically normal ladies, we need a crazy guy in here.
Doctor Livesey despite the name, the actual knowledge of medicine and the fact that he hates rum (specifically why, who knows?), he is very much a crazy man with his absurd swordplay skills and you know, fighting way too damn much.
Seriously, a wildcard to end all wildcards.
#34: Eda Clawthorne (The Owl House, 2020)
A very different kind of wildcard, the witch scammer turned into a straight up hero of sorts, Eda Clawthorne was just your ordinary fugitive on the run from the fascist empire that Emperor Belos has set up and then she met Luz.
From there on, she kinda got her act together, especially when Luz went to Hexside and more importantly, got a girlfriend and that was until...she got betrayed by her sister (for the several-th time in a row) and ended up in jail due to her curse that turns her into a beast...and thanks to her sister's scarifice of taking half the curse for herself.
Now being stuck with her sister and a curse, she's (through Luz attempting to teach her) getting her magic back and as always, bad at learning stuff and sure of her ways in the competition.
#35: Rebecca (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, 2022)
The third wildcard (that replaced Mirabel for arc reasons and tone reasons.) Rebecca's a relatively short 20-year old mercenary with green skin and generally likes to shoot before asking and when you live job to job, she can wait until you can guns blazing in there. She just doesn't half the time.
Also, she's really loud and thanks to being really short, she gets mistaken as a child and...her generally being like a GTA character doesn't help here in a social game.
#36: Kitty Katswell (TUFF Puppy, 2010)
There was a lot of good picks for this specific spot, as there's a whole bunch of ladies that could fit well like Master Tigress , Larry, Seth, Bowser, Mirabel Madrigal, Nine from Sonic Prime and Android 21 to say only a few cut campers.
Yor may be an secret assassin, but Kitty Katswell's a secret agent stuck dealing with the epic dumbassery that is Dudley Puppy and if the rest of the roster's any indication, she's got experience working around people like these.
Her mom did want her to go on this show, but she kinda didn't until all of T.U.F.F basically forced her in, courtesy of the villains that are trying to isolate her...and she can handle them easily, along with maybe the show.
She's still a walking talking cat, so expect some cat attributes.
#37: Eris Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei, 2021)
Here's a bratty princess that isn't that powerful, but can definitely throw a good swordfight or two in this season...Eris Greyrat may be both of those especially when she first shows up when Rudeus (her cousin) needs her to learn another language in her world,
Thanks to some sword-training, she knows a bit of sword fighting and it does show and let's just say that from that point onwards, she really needs that sword and Rudeus
(For the record, Mushoku Tensei is goated from 2021 and it's only 24 episodes, so you got eight hours worth of amazing anime.)
#38: Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland, 1950)
Speaking of fat women-wildcards, here's one literally from the 1950s (or 1850s-shut up), she's quite the mean queen from Wonderland, literally getting enjoyment from torturing her subjects and just like anyone in Wonderland, it is both perfectly logical for her to be this and complete nonsense.
Thanks to...some people existing, she could go stupid far if she tries hard enough to not be an asshole, but she's a Disney Villain, so it ain't that likely.
#39: The Scout (Team Fortress 2, 2006, GrayestLobster7)
You know what he does? He gets in, beats the other guys to a crisp, probably with a fair few amount of BONKs in the process and then just takes the money to probably help his team.
He's a simple dude, being a Bostonian kid with a gun, a fast run and a bat and making it work...spectacularly when he gets real close and real personal, even if he's not the smartest man in the world.
That's not a problem with him, though.
#40: Tangle The Lemur (Sonic IDW, 2017, a guest)
Being one of Sonic's biggest fans, Tangle was inspired to be a hometow hero when the robots invaded using her stretchy tail to help out the war effort and while the war's over, she's got a lot of things to do like help beat up Sonic's new enemies, keep her hometown heroes safe and be a positive force in the most literal sense.
She's got the positive attitude, at least, and a really dang stretchy tail.
#41: Sora (Kingdom Hearts, 2002, Neon-Trainer03)
One day, Sora, Kairi and Riku decided to play swords on their home on the Destiny Islands and then darkness showed up and more importantly, the infinite copies of Xehanort that decided that his life was all about beating the darkness wherever in Arendelle, Africa (twice), China and more importantly, from his friend Riku.
Long story short, not only did he beat 13 villains that were apparently all part-Xehanort and wanted to regain hearts, but he also beat the copies of Xehanort and the real deal too...and also he managed to turn a bunch of them to the good side along with reviving some of the dead-ish good guys into being good guys.
...Somewhere along the way, Riku becomes a cool guy, Kairi starts using her keyblade and this guy gets himself into a sticky situation.
#42: Satsuki (Ghost Stories, 2002, Memeking The Third)
The true mystery pick.
Being a chaotic lady does come with the territory and because I haven't watched the dub, I'm not going to elaborate besides her being a lesbian and her breaking the fourth wall.
#43: Mermista (She-Ra and The Princesses of Power)
If there's one thing that is very notable about Mermista, she's got the sarcastic attitude down to a fine art, even if she's a good person and a good friend in spite of all of that and willing to throw down with her bootleg Waterbending and power over general fish.
Also, she's a total mood (if you can figure out what that means, I'll give you nothing but the promise that I'm working on this.)
#44: Cuphead (Cuphead Show, 2022, UnchartedCoast2)
Speaking of playing games, Cuphead is all about having a good time wherever that means annoying the heck out of Elder Kettle or annoying the heck out of the devil himself (who is very not gay.), especially since he doesn't think half of the time.
Which is gonna be a problem here, but he's at least a fun problem.
#45: Eijro Kirishima (My Hero Academia, 2017, EpicNinjaFWRY)
The manliest first year hero course student, this teenager with red hair and the ability to harden (in only the literal sense) decided to be the manliest hero that he could and thanks to his training from Mr. Aizawa (being a justified hardass), a lot of villain experience and work experience from following along side Fat Gum to be a total badass.
Overally, he is that and maybe a bit less, but he managed to calm down Bakugo and is probably his only friend in Class 1-A with Kaminari...and if you know Bakugo, that's impressive.
#46: Luigi (Super Mario, 1983, back from Ultimate Island by another guest's request)
...
...another guy from Ultimate Islands that's here by request? Weird thing that's happened three times in a row and surprisingly, despite going 21 episodes without any elimination, the least equipped to handle this.
Sure he has a ton of bravery that's somehow combined with his scaredy cat nature, does have a stupid high jump and pulls out some crazy moves from time to time, but he's not really intimidation-proof.
#47: Izzy Moonbow (My Little Pony: A New Generation, 2022, StartletWhiteWolf)
I'm only picking her because I've seen the movie and also, she's probably the closest to Pinkie Pie (not very, actually.).
Anyways, Izzy Moonbow was the first unicorn to come to Maretime Bay, being a friend of Sunny Starscout and a victim of prejudice in the place and together, the two of them find out why unicorns don't have magic and through an adventure of investigation and beating prejudice, they both find out that Pegasi can't fly, the other races are prejudiced against each other and there's three crystals (thanks to Sunny) needed to get the magic back and meet three new friends in Pipp, Zipp and Hitch.
There's also a whole war potentially happening, friends seperating and you know, that kind of stuff before the real magic (of friendship) comes back and uh, prejudice didn't go away overnight, so she's helping to beat prejudice.
For the record, she's quite the excitable, friendly pony (all of the time, even when shit's going down.) and just wanted to be in a whole new world which is the reason she's here. Ooh, what a bad introduction.
#48: King Dedede (Kirby, 1992, that guy)
The greedy king that both needs no introduction and needs one, as this penguin is probably the fattest penguin that you'll probably see and he's the king of Planet Popstar and he's generally a selfish shitty king in that he wants all of the food and has quite the ego.
That being said, when he has to defend his kingdom (and fellow citizens like Gooey, Rick, Waddle Dee and a whole other bunch.) alongside Kirby and Meta Knight, he'll step up to the plate and do a ton of stuff.
#49: Fred Jones (Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated, 2010)
A trap himbo, being a man who loves traps and Daphne in almost equal measure and sure he's not the smartest man on the show, but he does have is...a stupid amount of traps that might not work all of the time, but works a whole lot of into bringing his ideas into realization.
Also, did you know he got forced into a conspiracy along with the whole gang? Crazy, I know.
#50: Chika Fujiwara (Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, 2018)
Chaos apparently packed into one single girl with natural pink hair, Chika Fujiwara is definitely one of the people on Shuchiin's student council, naturally being the Lindsay of this season (mostly relative to the rest of the cast) and trying to be the fun gal in this season of strategy and attempting to make it further.
The problem is, she's quite the shady gal to boot.
#51: Okuyasu Nijimura (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, 1993)
We needed somebody from Part 4 and honestly, Fugo and Okuyasu do share the general loyalty and violence and that's really about it...because Okuyasu is not a genius (not by any stretch), but he is a good guy.
Okuyasu and his brother just wanted to a stand to kill their father, who was disfigured to an extreme thanks to his selfishness, and initially, they were kinda bad guys...and the turn around come when his brother died due to some cruel guy named Akira.
And from that moment on, Okuyasu and Josuke were friends, taking revenge against the guy who killed his brother, winning the lottery, beating a serial killer and generally hanging out together.
Put it this way, if he doesn't like you, he's gonna swing with his fists and maybe, his stand that erases everything with a slap and if he likes you...be prepared to have the best teammate of all time.
#52: Speedy Gonzales (Looney Tunes, 1955)
Mexican badassery packed into a guy that you can't even really see properly if you're tall enough, but he's a suave man and a hopeless romantic at heart and overall, he might not steal your gal, but he's gonna be one hell of a mouse.
Sure, he's definitely a good friend to have around, but he's also a strategic fella,
#53: Vinny Santorini (Atlantis: The Lost Empire, 2002)
Being a mercenary who deals with explosives, you'd think he would be boring with his generally monotone voice and witty remarks...which is a lie, because he's a bit more than that.
He got his passion for explosions and unlike Rebecca, he's got a cool head on his shoulders and sure, you can tempt him with an impressive amount of money, but he's a good guy...just a strategy guy as well.
#54: Shermie (King of Fighters '97, 1997)
She's in Infinite: Bon Voyage and thanks to that fic's cancellation, I guess this is technically her debut in the game and oh man, she will really have one in the game.
Shermie may seem like your average gal with her bangs covering her eyes, being a fashion designer and being real friendly, flirty towards guys, hates noisy people...and also doesn't take fights that seriously despite her fighting like a wrestler.
And that's it.
She totally doesn't have a villain persona that shoots lightning, and is generally quite judgy towards humans, strangely serious, destructive and sadistic at all and she is also not hinting.
#55: Princess Jasmine (Aladdin, 1990)
If there's one thing that you can't say about Jasmine is that, she's always in control of her own destiny and doing her own thing maybe messing up along the way and understanding a bit, but she's the first of several Disney Princesses to always be in the middle of the action that her boyfriend's in. (Aladdin, in case you couldn't tell.)
She might not be the most strategic player and heck, she's probably going to make a ton of friends during this shebang.
#56: Glendale (Centaurworld, 2021)
She's quite the unique centaur, being half LA influencer, half gerenuk (look her on Google and tell me she doesn't look a bit freaky.) and she's a generally empathetic friend and all around kleptomaniac due to her anxiety (which makes her voice annoying as heck.) and she's definitely more than that.
She's also a good singer and quite the motivator to deal with anxiety, being one that suffers from it strongly and when she gets pushed, she doesn't play around...so, she's quite the complicated centaur.
#57: Master Tigress (Kung Fu Panda, 2008, awishoflifetime)
She is far from the only seasoned warrior in this season and she's very seasoned, serious and being from ancient China, being part of the Furious Five that fought and protected many people within the region and by far, she was the most skeptical of Po's claim to being a Dragon Warrior, practically bullying him for good reason. (He didn't believe himself either!)
Po trained to prove that claim (first as a joke) and one dead Tai Lung later, she really respects him...which isn't going to be the same being displaced in a new world with a whole bunch of new people, especially being the last to be picked.
Expect more than a few callouts for the lacking teammates, considering she's essentially a superhero.
#58: Banjo & Kazooie (Banjo & Kazooie, 1998)
Requested for Smash and forced into this season through Kazooie's own grit and determination to prove that Gruntilda's overrated (which since she's mostly dead, shouldn't be that hard to figure out) and since they have absurd powers of transformation that are only limited by time, Mumbo-Jumbo's magic and whatever else these two are packing.
With Kazooie's willing to fight anyone and Banjo's willing to nip that shit in the bud, these two are going to have a rough time in these mountains.
#59: Mirabel Madrigal (Encanto, 2021)
Mirabel isn't an miserable person by nature and honestly, she won't be that even when trying to deal with her Abuela (who doesn't care about her solely because of her lack of gift.), as the rest of her family has her back into doing this competition or camping.
Why is she doing this?
She just wants to prove to her abuela and the other villagers (they don't hate her, by the way.) that she's worthy of being important to the family, but that might shift slightly for obvious reasons.
Also, she can play the damn accordion without missing a beat and definitely can sing, so there's that and she's Colombian as all hell.
#60: Leorio Padaknight (Hunter x Hunter, 2011)
Leorio's got a lot on his plate, as he's planning to be a doctor that makes a lot of money...seemingly being a dick, except he wants to be a doctor with a lot of money because his friend with an incurable disease die from not having enough money, now understanding that money makes the world go round.
That's the best way to sup him all up, he's definitely a good guy, a great upcoming doctor and an amazing friend, even if a bit brash and like Denji, his weakness is being peverted to women.
Unlike Denji, who can turn into Chainsaw Man (who is OP), all he can do is put his limbs into portals...which is still ridculously useful in so many places.
And that's the lot of characters doing things around the home base in British Columbia's rockier areas, chock full of stuff to do, challenges to be done and more importantly, senses to be tested for no reason.
60 campers (I forgot Leorio and Mirabel, goddamit and no, no-one's going to be added at the merge, why are you asking, bruh?)
30 episodes worth of content and a whole different style of uploading content to this story!
Every chapter should generally be a new episode of dealing with things and honestly, the rest of the newcomers including Rashid, Bowser, Android 21, Brian Griffin, Mr. Snake, Morrigan and Garou should be coming in future seasons, wherever that happens.
Honourable Mentions from requested players and also, notably good characters cut from the previous roster:
Android 21 (Dragon Ball FighterZ) - The Hungry Scientist
Seth (Street Fighter V) - The Move-Stealing Android
Larry (Pokemon Scarlet & Violet) - The Salaryman Gym Leader
Bowser (Super Mario) - The Big and Mean King
"Nine" Miles Prower (Sonic Prime) - The Loner Inventor
Mr. Snake (The Bad Guys) - The Good-ish Snake
Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers) - The Fun-Loving Succubus
Undyne (Undertale) - The Gung-Ho Fish Lady
Rashid (Street Fighter 5) - The Arabian Influencer
Cammy (Super Street Fighter 2) - The Good Mercenary Girl
Leona Heidern (King of Fighters '96) - The Stoic Soldier
Brian Griffin (Family Guy) - The Pretentious Writer
Frank West (Dead Rising) - The Zombie-Fighting Journalist
Schnitzel (Chowder) - The Rock Cook
Manjiro Sano/Mikey (Tokyo Revengers) - The Gangster Kid
Casey Anne (Super Cooks) - The Retired Villain
Popeye (Popeye) - The Tough Sailor
Olivia Octavius (Into The Spider-Verse) - The Dimensional Scientist (she's in Homespun, that's all I gotta say!)
That being said, there's a very good reason that Happy Chaos, Mr. Snake, Cammy, Entrapta and are interns...to protect the integrity of the show and also, Schnitzel, Soma and Chef Hatchet are the three fighting chefs!
