It was another peaceful day at Chaldea, and Ritsuka Fujimaru found themselves sitting in the common room, enjoying a brief moment of quiet. They hadn't even managed to take a sip of their tea when the door burst open with a loud bang, nearly making them spill their drink. Standing in the doorway, sword at the ready, was Okita Souji, her sharp eyes scanning the room until they landed on Ritsuka.

"Master!" Okita called out, her expression filled with determination. "I've come to request your assistance on a patrol of Chaldea! As part of the Shinsengumi, it's our duty to ensure everything is in order. Let's go!"

Ritsuka blinked, caught off guard by her sudden entrance. "A patrol? Around Chaldea?"

Okita nodded firmly, walking up to Ritsuka and sheathing her sword with a dramatic flourish. "Exactly! We must be vigilant. Even in peaceful times, there could be unseen threats lurking around every corner. I'll need your keen eyes to help me—together, we'll keep Chaldea safe!"

Ritsuka opened their mouth to respond, but before they could, the door slammed open again, this time with an even louder crash that echoed through the room. In walked Oda Nobunaga—"Nobbu" to her friends—grinning wildly with her signature swagger. She had a cocky gleam in her eyes and her ever-present rifle slung over her shoulder.

"Oi, oi, oi! What's all this about patrols? Master doesn't need to waste their time walking around on some boring duty!" Nobbu announced, walking up to stand next to Okita, much to the latter's irritation.

"Nobbu…" Okita's eyes narrowed, her voice carrying a dangerous edge. "This has nothing to do with you. Master and I are going to carry out an important patrol. You're free to go... amuse yourself elsewhere."

Nobbu snickered, crossing her arms with a wide grin. "Important? Pfft! There's nothing going on in Chaldea that needs 'patrolling.' You're just dragging Master around for your little samurai duty nonsense."

Okita's eyes flashed, and she gripped the hilt of her katana. "How dare you insult the Shinsengumi! This is an important task, and Master would gladly assist!"

Ritsuka looked between the two, feeling a bead of sweat run down the back of their neck. They could already sense where this was heading, and it wasn't going to be pretty.

Before Okita could respond, Nobbu leaned in closer to Ritsuka, her grin widening. "Forget the patrol, Master. Why don't we go shoot off some cannons, huh? A little Nobbu-style fun! It'll be way more exciting than walking around Chaldea doing... whatever she has in mind." She pointed lazily at Okita, who bristled at the gesture.

"Nobbu!" Okita snapped, stepping forward to face her rival directly. "Stop interfering! I asked Master first, and this isn't a competition!"

Nobbu let out a boisterous laugh. "Not a competition? Don't be so naive, Okita! Everything's a competition when it comes to Master's attention!" She jabbed her thumb toward her chest, eyes gleaming with pride. "Besides, who do you think Master would have more fun with? Some stiff, by-the-book patrol, or blasting things to smithereens with me?"

Ritsuka raised their hands, trying to ease the tension. "Uh, guys, maybe we can figure out something we can all do together—"

"Quiet, Master!" Both Okita and Nobbu shouted at the same time, their rivalry now fully ignited.

Okita took a deep breath, her voice low and serious. "Listen here, Nobbu. This is about duty, honor, and protecting Chaldea. I'm not dragging Master into some reckless scheme like you are. This is a chance for Master to prove their dedication to the Shinsengumi!"

"Pffft, please!" Nobbu rolled her eyes, waving her hand dismissively. "You're making it sound so boring! All you want to do is make Master follow you around on some pointless patrol. Admit it, Okita, you just want to show off."

Okita's grip on her katana tightened. "That's rich coming from you! All you ever do is try to drag Master into your ridiculous, over-the-top antics. What part of 'keeping Chaldea safe' don't you understand?"

Nobbu's grin widened, clearly enjoying the argument. "Oh, I understand perfectly! But what's the point of being safe if you can't have some fun along the way? Face it, Master will have more fun with me."

Ritsuka sighed, knowing they were in for a long day. They tried once again to mediate. "Really, you guys, we don't need to fight over this. I'd be happy to—"

"Master, you must choose!" Okita declared, her eyes blazing with conviction as she pointed her sword toward the ceiling. "The Shinsengumi requires your assistance. We'll patrol Chaldea with honor and precision!"

"No way!" Nobbu countered, leaning toward Ritsuka with a cocky smirk. "Master's gonna come with me, and we'll make the day explode with excitement! Literally!"

Ritsuka's eyes darted between the two, feeling like they were caught in the middle of a tug-of-war. Okita's intense sense of duty versus Nobbu's chaotic energy—it was hard to decide.

Suddenly, Okita and Nobbu locked eyes with each other, their tempers rising to the boiling point.

"That's it," Okita hissed. "I've had enough of your interruptions!"

"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?" Nobbu sneered, cracking her knuckles in a not-so-subtle challenge.

Before anyone could blink, the two Servants sprang into action, swords and rifles drawn, sparks flying as their legendary rivalry reached its peak. Okita dashed forward with her quick-draw Iaijutsu, aiming her blade toward Nobbu, who sidestepped at the last second and swung her rifle to deflect the attack.

"Master doesn't need to see this!" Okita snapped, her sword flashing in the light as she went in for another strike.

Nobbu cackled, parrying the blade with the butt of her rifle. "Oh, come on, Okita! Let's give them a show!"

Ritsuka stepped back, watching helplessly as the two clashed. Okita's movements were swift and precise, her footwork impeccable as she pressed forward with her katana. Nobbu, on the other hand, fought with wild, unpredictable energy, using her rifle not just as a gun, but as a bludgeon to counter Okita's swordplay.

The sound of metal against metal echoed through the room, each strike charged with the weight of their rivalry.

"Enough!" Ritsuka finally shouted, stepping between the two, holding out their arms to separate the warring Servants.

Both Okita and Nobbu froze mid-strike, their weapons just inches from each other. They stared at Ritsuka in surprise, then glanced at each other, as if realizing how out of hand things had gotten.

"Guys, this is ridiculous," Ritsuka said, exasperated but firm. "We're all supposed to be a team, right? There's no need to fight over who gets to spend time with me. I appreciate both of you, but I'd rather you didn't tear each other apart in the process."

Okita slowly lowered her sword, her expression softening as she realized what she'd done. "Master... I'm sorry. I got carried away."

Nobbu let out a reluctant sigh, slinging her rifle back over her shoulder. "Tch, fine. Maybe I went a little overboard. But I still say my plan was more fun."

Ritsuka smiled, relieved that the two had finally calmed down. "How about this: we can do both. We'll do the patrol with Okita first, and afterward, we'll join Nobbu for some... controlled chaos?"

Okita's eyes lit up. "Master, I would be honored to lead you on patrol!"

Nobbu grinned, her competitive spirit still intact. "Heh, fine. As long as I get to blow something up later."

Ritsuka chuckled. "Deal. But let's keep the explosions to a minimum, alright?"

With the tension finally diffused, Okita and Nobbu exchanged one last glance, the heat of their rivalry simmering down—for now. As they all headed toward the door, Ritsuka couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. It wasn't easy keeping the peace between two of the most fiery Servants in Chaldea, but they had managed to turn a potential disaster into a balanced day of teamwork... even if that balance involved a little chaos along the way.

"Master's mine next time," Nobbu whispered under her breath, causing Okita to glare.

Ritsuka sighed. It was going to be a long day.
