The Mask Retrieval Squad

After Lincoln, Clyde, Kieran, and Carmine saved Ogerpon, and the Loser Three retreated, they decided to plan their next move.

"What do we do now?" asked Kieran.

"Well, we definitely can't let those three keep those masks!" said Carmine.

"They belong to Ogerpon!" said Lincoln.

"Yeah!" shouted everyone who was watching everything that was happening via Lincoln and Clyde's Rotom Phones.

"We should head back to Mossui Town for now." said Carmine.

"Yeah, we should also see if Grandpa fixed Ogerpon's mask." said Kieran.

"We should also get our Pokemon treated." said Lincoln.

"Good idea." said Clyde. "If we're gonna go after those three, we want our Pokemon to be at full strength."

"Let's go." said Carmine as she and the others start making their way back to Mossui Town; as they near the stone walkway, Kieran turns to see Ogerpon standing near its home.

"Come on, Ogerpon." said Kieran, getting Lincoln, Clyde, Carmine, and the Ogerpon's attention, surprising the Pokemon. "You're coming with us."

"Yeah." said Lincoln.

"You should be with us when we get those masks back." said Clyde.

"That's right!" said Carmine. Ogerpon looked a little nervous.

"What's wrong, Ogerpon?" asked Luan.

"I think it's nervous about going to town because of how it's been treated before." said Clyde.

"Don't worry." said Kieran. "Everyone at Kitakami Hall knows the truth about you and the Loser Three, so they won't treat you badly anymore."

"Yeah; and if they do, then they'll have to mess with me!" said Carmine as she punches the palm of her hand; the group's pokeballs burst open and all their Pokemon came out and started talking with determination in their voices.

"I think our Pokemon are saying that they'll back you up also." said Clyde.

"Let's go, Ogerpon." said Kieran as he holds out his hand to Ogerpon; the Pokemon looks at it for a while before putting its cloak hand onto it and holds it, making everyone smile.

The four make their way to Kitakami Hall where the people there were cleaning up the mess the Loser Three made; some people stop when they see Ogerpon who looks a little nervous at the attention it was getting.

"It's Ogerpon." someone pointed out.

"It looks cuter in person!" said a little girl. Ogerpon was surprised by how nice people were being to it.

"See?" Lincoln said. "People will be nice to you now that they know the truth." Ogerpon smiles and dances around happily, making everyone laugh.

"It's so playful." said a woman.

"I can't believe we thought it was a destructive monster all these years." said another woman.

After a while, the four and Ogerpon start heading through Kitakami Hall to Reveler's Road

"I got a question for Ogerpon." said Lincoln.

"What?" asked Clyde. Lincoln then looks over at Ogerpon.

"Are you a boy or a girl?" Lincoln asked the Pokemon, making it tilt its head in confusion.

"Why do you want to know that?" asked Carmine.

"I don't feel right referring to Ogerpon as an 'it'." said Lincoln.

"Yeah, neither do I." said Clyde.

"Me, neither." said Kieran.

"So, are you a boy, Ogerpon?" asked LIncoln, making Ogerpon shake its head left and right.

"So, you're a girl, are you?" asked Kieran with a smile; Ogerpon nods in response.

"Yeah!" cheered Lincoln's sisters.

"Now we know that Ogerpon's a girl and stop calling her, it." said Lincoln.

"That's so nice of you, Linky." said Carmine before she wraps her arms around Lincoln in a hug, and kisses him on the cheek, making him blush.

"Don't kiss Linky!" said Iono.

"Let's get back to Mossui Town." said Clyde, making Carmine let Lincoln go before the group head down Reveler's Road until they reach their destination.

As the group head through the town to Kieran and Carmine's grandparent's house, they see Kieran and Carmine's grandfather, who had Ogerpon's mask with him, along with a bunch of townspeople.

"Hey, Grandpa!" said Carmine, getting her grandfather and the townspeople's attentions; they all gasp when they see Ogerpon who looked nervous at the looks she was getting.

"Greetings, Ogerpon." said Kieran and Carmine's grandfather as he and the townspeople approach the Pokemon; when they all reach Ogerpon, he holds out her mask to her.

"Wow!" said Kieran. "That mask looks as good as new."

"I worked hard on it." said Kieran and Carmine's grandfather. Ogerpon looks at Kieran and Carmine's grandfather who was smiling at her before she takes the mask back and puts it on.

"Ogerpon." a townsperson says, getting her attention. "We are so sorry for how you've been treated all these years."

"We were wrong." said another townsperson before they all bow in apology, surprising Ogerpon.

"See, Ogerpon?" said Kieran. "You don't have to be lonely anymore." Tears of joy fill Ogerpon's eyes before she starts dancing with joy, making everyone laugh.

After Lincoln, Clyde, Kieran, and Carmine drop their Pokemon off at the small, makeshift, Pokemon Center to get treated, they all discuss the Loser Three.

"What do we do about those thieves?" asked Clyde.

"First we should figure out what types of Pokemon they are." said Lincoln. "Since Fezandipiti had birdlike features, I have to believe it's probably at least part flying type; if that's true; then rock, electric, and ice type moves should be effective against it."

"Seeing how water and flying type moves had moderate effect on Munkidori, it must not be a fire, rock, ground, fighting, and it definitely didn't look like a bug type." said Clyde. "Maybe I should use a different type of Pokemon next time I see it."

"But it used poison and psychic type moves, so it could be at least one of those types." said Kieran.

"And we don't know much about Okidogi." said Carmine.

"But it looked pretty buff, so it could at least be part fighting type." said Lincoln.

"Yeah, it did look like a fighter." said Lynn Jr.

"All that matters is that we have to get Ogerpon's masks back for her." said Kieran.

"Yeah!" shouted Lincoln, Clyde, and Carmine.

"We should also train up our Pokemon for a while before we try getting them back." said Lincoln. "I'm gonna swap Charcadet for my Tinkatuff; if those three are at least part poison types, then she'll be able to handle poison type moves."

"Good idea, buddy." said Clyde.

"Let's see if anyone knows where those three might've gone off to." said Kieran.

"I think I saw Munkidori heading off towards Wistful Fields a few minutes ago." said a townsperson who overheard them.

"Thanks." said Carmine.

"What about the other two?" asked Clyde.

"We'll ask around and find out if anyone saw them after they fled the Dreaded Den." said Lincoln.

"Let's go." said Kieran.

Everyone asked around for about half an hour until they found the information they were looking for.

"Someone at Kitakami Hall said they saw Okidogi heading towards Paradise Barrens." said Carmine.

"And someone else there said they spotted Fezandipiti heading up Oni Mountain." said Kieran.

"We heard that someone spotted Munkidori heading towards a pond in Wistful Fields." said Clyde.

"That must be Wisteria Pond." said Kieran.

"Now we have good ideas of where the Loser Three are at." said Lincoln.

"We should have a name for our group." said Clyde.

"How about the Mask Retrieval Squad?" Carmine suggested.

"Yeah!" replied Lincoln and Clyde before they both strike poses; Carmine and Kieran looked at each other and shrugged before striking poses themselves.

After the four get their Pokemon back, they head off somewhere to do some training; before leaving town, Lincoln heads to the local store.

"What are you doing?" asked Clyde.

"Buying some Ultra Balls." said Lincoln.

"Why?" asked Kieran.

"Look; even if we get those masks back, that won't stop those three thieves from causing trouble around here later on after we do." said Lincoln.

"That makes sense." said Carmine with a sour expression on her face after imagining the Loser Three continuing to be menaces to the Kitakami Region.

"After we take those three down, we should try capturing them so they won't bother the people here in Kitakami ever again." said Lincoln.

"Good idea, cutie!" said Iono.

"Maybe I'll buy some Ultra Balls also." said Clyde.

"Us, too." said Kieran and Carmine.

The four each buy ten Ultra Balls each and got a Premier Ball after they do; they all look at each other before holding their hands out, along with Ogerpon, and placing them on top of one another's, with Carmine putting her hand on top of Lincoln's.

"Mask Retrieval Squad; let's do this!" said Lincoln.

"Yeah!" Clyde, Kieran, and Carmine, along with Ogerpon; cheer out before they raise their hands/cape arm up in the air.

The Mask Retrieval Squad is formed and are preparing to search for the Loser Three and get the masks back. Will they succeed? Wait and find out.
