Summary: Finding out Tohru can be jealous of an idol is unexpected, but he was there to reassure her anyways.

"Uh…" The blond sophomore university student looked at everyone surrounding him – his younger sister, Momo, his girlfriend of three years, Tohru, cousins Hatsuharu and Rin, and their new friends Ayase Chihaya and Mashima Taichi, both of whom were also looking at him with interest written all over their faces. "Do I have to answer that?"

"Aww come on, oniichan. You're killing us with the suspense here." Momo whined, sipping on her drink impatiently. "Just tell us who you would be interested in, if ever."

"I don't even know them." He was frustrated, glancing for help from Tohru, who merely waved a hand, as if to say 'go ahead.'

They were in one of the university's hangout spots, where students could choose to eat in if they wished to or even study if they want to, their background full of large trees and just pure nature. It was lunch period and they were having fun talking about anything under the sun.

"We already gave you a run down." Rin piped in, also impatient. "It's not that hard; just pick one personality you think you like and boom, you have someone you'll be interested in."

"Not to be cheesy or anything, but I have Tohru and that's kinda the whole point she's my girlfriend."

"You're not getting out of this, Sohma." Taichi laughed. "Just name one girl so you can be done with this already."

He sighed a long suffering, sigh. "I don't need to." He grasped Tohru's hand and kissed it as she giggled patiently beside him.

Haru elbowed him in the ribs which made him relinquish his hold on Tohru's hand as he rubbed the offended part. "You have to, to even me and Mashima out. Go on, rabbit."

He gave them the side eye, holding Tohru's hand again in his. "Fine. I think – heavy emphasis there, folks – I think I would be interested to know the uh… who's the funny one again?"

"Dahyun?" Chihaya helpfully supplied, much to the gasps of the other girls around her. "You would like to know Dahyun?"

Taichi and Haru were laughing, much to his embarrassment. "I don't see any issue with her." He raised an eyebrow at the boys.

"I mean," Momo was grinning as Rin giggled beside her. "I thought you'd go for Momo."

"Who's she?"

"The main dancer. One of the Japanese girls, remember? The sexy one."

"Great. Stereotyping. Nope." The blond took a sip of his own drink. "I find Dahyun funny and I think that's enough. Not to mention, Momo… she has the same name as you. No thank you."

"Well, Tohru-chan," Chihaya turned to the brunette. "There you have it. At least you know his type."

Momiji rubbed his head, feeling the beginnings of a headache. He couldn't even remember how they reached this topic about… what was the girl group's name again? Once? Twice? Was it Momo who brought them up? His sister was fascinated with kpop music nowadays, so it must be her.

"So that's one for Jihyo, one for Sana and one for Dahyun." Momo tallied everything up. "Interesting, to say the least. Thought you guys would also go for Tzuyu seeing as she's the visual…" She looked up, a huge smile on her face. "Well, it's the girls' turn. Time for us to choose who we would like to go out with!"

The boys all groaned in unison.

~~**o**~~

Later in the evening, when he and Tohru were studying together, he noticed that Tohru was quite distracted. She wasn't really moving the pages of her notes and kind of had a blank look on her face.

"Hey," he asked, softly, trying not to startle her. "You okay, Princess?"

She glanced at him, the slight creasing on her forehead indicating that she was deep in thought but was unsure if she should tell him.

Seeing this, he placed his pen down from marking the pages of the music score he was studying and faced her, giving her his utmost attention. "What is it? You know you could tell me anything, right?"

He didn't know if it was intentional, as her lips formed a soft pout which made his stomach somersault. Tohru seldom pouts, and when she does she just looked absolutely adorable. He resisted the urge to grab her and kiss the living daylights out of her.

She still looked hesitant, but her facial expression changed to one of determination. "Is… is Dahyun really your type?"

He was startled at the question. Is this what she was actually thinking about all along? He noticed her expression was serious, so he didn't want to be a jerk and make a joke of his response. "Dahyun could be someone I'm interested to get to know more, if she weren't an idol."

"Because she's funny?" She asked, still hesitant.

"Yes. If the videos Momo showed us were enough of an indication, she carries herself well in variety shows. It would be fun to hang out with her… at least that's what I think. I wouldn't know, I don't even know enough about her." He said, watching her expression closely.

Tohru, at the moment, looked doubtful. "Um, Momiji…"

Just then something clicked inside him. "Wait. Tohru… are you… are you actually worried about Dahyun?"

She bit her lip and averted her gaze from him, and he resisted the urge to laugh. It was ridiculous, to be honest, at least for him. He wasn't even remotely interested in dating an idol who doesn't even know he exists, let alone look at a woman who wasn't Tohru. The whole idea was absurd.

"My. Someone's jealous." He couldn't stop the chuckle escaping him. The brunette blushed, and he wrapped his arms around her, carrying her with him as he sat up on the couch, cradling her as he sat her on his lap.

"Not really." She leaned against his chest, probably wanting to hide her expression. "It's just… I'm not funny. What if you get bored with me?"

"What are you even talking about?" He put a finger under her chin to lift it up and make her look at him. "I have fun every time I'm with you. Every time you allow me to eat your food, play music for you, see you smile and hear you laugh… every single moment I have with you is fun. Unless… unless you're not having fun being with me?" Now it was his turn to be worried.

"Of course not." She shook her head vehemently. "I can survive every day because you're here with me. You taught me not to take life too seriously, when to draw the line. I'm grateful for you."

"And that goes both ways. The reason I can laugh is because of you." He was looking at her fondly. "So, don't worry about an idol or anyone else because there is no one else for me but you. If it isn't you, I'm not interested."

"Really?"

"Really."

She smiled angelically at him, his heart stopping and restarting as he took in everything. If he could be blinded by such a smile he would have probably lost his eyesight by now.

Tohru started playing with the collar of his shirt making him gulp, his adam's apple bobbing up and down as she looked up to him through her eyelashes.

"Show me?"

He couldn't stop his body's response to her invitation.

"Yes mam."

He stood up, sharing a kiss with her as she wrapped her arms around his neck, trudging towards their bedroom.
