Chapter 2:
(A.N:I fixed how long the Cullens have been away in this chapter and the description of the story. They left in 2005 and it's now 2022 in the story, so it's seventeen years instead of twenty-seven years)
Even though Bella felt the deep burning hatred radiating off her dad and her practically uncle from behind her, a rage she herself should be respectfully feeling right now. Mostly she felt embarrassment and pity for this walking disco ball.
Edork's lips were trying to be a warm and serene smile while also trying to be a flirtatious knowing smirk. He walked like he was given five wedgies at once but was trying to hide it by walking like a slow motion runway model. It made her wonder why teenage Bella was ever in with this sad emo idiot.
He stopped halfway from where he first appeared then extended his arms out like he was about to sprout some wings. Bella raised a brow at him clearly confused. Edward rolled his eyes at her in a playful way as he motioned with his hands that clearly said, 'come here.'
"Come here to embrace me my love," Edork hummed, "I have returned to be with you once again."
And all the pity and embarrassment was thrown out by deep seated rage. Bella's face held her anger clearly from Edork's sudden confusion. His arm dropped to his sides as he studied the adult Bella.
"Are you not happy to see me Bella?" Edork asked, confused.
"Oh," Bella let out with an angry chuckle, "you have some nerves to come back here after everything you caused."
"Bella I know you're still upset that I broke up with you after your birthday," Edork said with gusto, like a romcom lead actor, "but that was a lie. Everything I said that day were lies to protect you and now that we both here we can-"
"Are you fucking serious?" Bella blurted out feeling the same snapping feeling within her again after Victoria almost killed her dad.
"How dare you swear Bella!" Edork gasped, clearly offended and literally putting a hand over his not beating heart. "You are a lady Bella. Ladies do not swear, especially at their true loves. One who has come back to make you a proper wife."
'Wife?' Bella thought. 'His wife?!'
"This brat better not be serious," Charlie growled out from behind his angry daughter, catching Edork's attention. His offended look morphed into horror at seeing the prosthetic limb instead of flesh.
"Mr. Swan, what happened to your arm?" Edork asked in concern. That made Bella's remaining composure to break.
"What happened was you and your fucking ego!" Bella snapped coldly. She glared at her ex as she explained, "Not only did you leave a human girl that knew about your secret world, but also left a mentally unstable vampiric woman alive."
Edork rolled his eyes in annoyance, clearly remembering that argument.
"Who made a newborn army," Bella continued causing Edork's eyes to widen in horror, "in order to kill me, my family, my friends, and the entirety of Forks for revenge instead of letting Jasper just kill her after he and the others destroyed James."
Edork tried to speak but Bella went on, "You actively let a formerly vampire nomad's mate in on you leaving a human alone with knowledge of your existence, who then went to report it to the Volturi, who decided to kill me since no one in your family decided to turn me. I was fighting for my life, for everyone in Forks lives. Then that red headed bitch almost murdered my dad and took his arm. This is all your fault and do you want to know why Eddie boy?"
The vampire was somehow turning paler by the minute listening to what Bella had to go through since he left.
Bella growled out, "It's because you and YOUR ego couldn't bear the thought of me being turned, to 'damn' my soul while being with you for the rest of eternity. So instead of that you leave while signing the whole town's death certificate."
Edork finally got a chance to speak, "I am so sorry for leaving you to deal with all of that alone while grieving our relationship. but I'm back now and we can finally be together."
"And there's the nerve of yours," Bella said in frustration, "after being gone for almost seventeen years, you just waltz back into town to chastise me for swearing and saying I'm going to be your wife from now on, thinking I would just accept that."
Edork looked stunned as he managed to get out, "What? You don't want to get back together? Why?!"
"Firstly," Bella explained with a groan of annoyance slipping through her, "you broke up with me a decade, six years, and nine months ago. Even though you just admitted that you were lying about what you said, that is a pretty big gap from the breakup."
Edork looked hurt by that.
"Secondly," Bella continued, "speaking about years and gaps; as old as you are, you still look seventeen, while I'm nearly thirty-five, but I haven't aged past twenty-two. If I got back together with you I would be arrested for dating a minor and I don't want that."
"Oh come now Bella," Edork replied with a nervous smile, "no one would arrest you for dating me. Your dad wouldn't let that happen."
"Says who exactly?" Charlie pointed out. Edork flinched as Charlie continued, "I know that you used to break into my home debating whether or not you would kill my daughter."
"Finally," Bella concluded before her dad decided to break his arm from decking Edork in the face, bringing her left hand up to show the ring there, "and most importantly, I'm already someone's wife."
Edork's eye started twitching after hearing that, but as if on cue…
"You married someone other than Edward?" Alice asked, running out from the trees. From the way she spoke, Bella noticed that Alice sounded happy about that. The pixie haircut girl did scowl at Bella's outfit before saying, "and what are you even wearing? We've got to get much more suitable clothes for you while you explain who you married."
"Whoa there," Bella replied back, "you and your family don't get to abandon me and your responsibilities to protect your guys' secret to be stunned that I moved on from Eddie boy here. And don't trash on someone else's outfit, it's very rude."
'Besides my outfit isn't that extreme to cause a commotion,' Bella thought looking down at her outfit.
Bella was wearing a white button down shirt, black slacks, black mid calf hunting boots, a long double breasted black trench coat, and a blood red bracelet on her right wrist. A thoughtful gift from her adoptive sister.
"So is swearing at your mate and pretending that you have a husband," Edork pointed out walking closer to Bella, "but I understand why you're doing so."
"What?" Bella asked. Even Alice looked confused.
"You're trying to hurt my feelings after I hurt yours," Edork explained, with a disgustingly loving tone to his voice, "but you didn't have to make up an imaginary husband to do that."
"What are you saying Edward?" Alice demanded. "I know that you can see the wedding ring on Bella's hand like I do."
Edork spun around as he said an annoyed huff, "It's clearly a fake ring to keep creeps away from her while waiting for me, plus her initials are the same. So go home now Alice! You're not supposed to be past the treaty line."
"You shouldn't be as well!" Both Billy and Alice said in sync.
"Bella please!" Edork said, grabbing Bella's hands in his. "Come back with me, my family and I can help you let go of this imaginary husband you have created."
Bella was about to tear Edork up limb from limb when a voice to her left and Edork's right said in a scarily calm voice, "How about you let go of my wife, boy."
