Chapter 8:

"I shouldn't be so surprise that he was so stupid," Bella groaned as she relaxed with Mina and Orlando, "but then he keeps pulling them out like a magician."

"Well, I like to apologize for not fully believing you on this before," Orlando said, as she brought over a box of pizza, "I thought you were holding onto some petty teenage drama, but now I understand."

Mina glared at her as Bella said, "As long as you do now then it's fine."

"What do you think the guys are doing right now?" Orlando asked. She was still confused when everyone left Charlie's house after Billy explained how the location was set as well.

"Tom, Allan, Charlie, and Billy are shooting at old cans," Mina replied, "while Edward and Utterson blow off some steam with the wolves as Skinner and Griffin take bets on who will win. As for Nemo and Arronax, they had some things to discuss."

Bella laughed as she turned her attention to the tv on whatever sappy romance movie was on. Until Orlando got up and ran out of the house. The sound of Bella's motorcycle leaving the driveway made Mina sighed. Bella boxed up the pizza and called the number to the pizza place.

"I'll start the truck then," Mina said, grabbing Bella's keys.

-At Billy's house-

"Go Hyde!" Griffin hollored. "I have a ten on the line if you lose."

As Hyde threw one of the wolves back, he looked over Griffin with a huff.

"Really Griffin?" Hyde asked. "I'm worthy of a ten to you?"

"Hey!" Griffin said defensively. "I might lose a 150 on you against Utterson."

As if on cue a blur flew past Hyde's head making his left shoulder sting.

"I think you mean Ripper there Griffin," Skinner's voice said as Hyde looked behind him.

Jack Ripper, also known as Utterson's version of Hyde, was a bit taller than the lawyer with a paler skin tone, long white hair and yellow eyes. As Ripper grinned at him, he could see Ripper's sharp teeth from where he was. This was so exciting to Hyde.

In fact when Hyde heard that Arronax and Utterson were coming he got giddy at the thought of Ripper and him causing chaos.

The wolves made a big circle as they knew what was about to go down. Even the sound of guns stopped firing followed by sound of three feet and a wheelchair going right next to the invisible duo, however Hyde didn't care about that right now, he fully turned to fight. Ripper was crouching until he stood up suddenly and looked behind Hyde and Billy's house. Everyone turned to follow his gaze to see one of Nemo's cars, Bella's truck and motorcycle driving up, followed by the scent of pizza.

"Did I miss the fight?!" Orlando yelled out.

"To watch or join in?" Allan asked as he and Charlie walked to the truck to help.

"Both," Orlando said in the most serious tone Allan has ever heard.

"Well Hyde and I were about to brawl it out right now," Ripper replied suddenly next to them, "but I want to see how Isabella is doing."

Orlando didn't reply, unless what she yelped as she jumped was that. Bella sighed as Ripper studied her with concern.

"¿Cómo estás Isabella?" He asked worriedly.

"Estoy bien," Bella replied, "solo que frustrado es todo."

"¿Quieres que lo mate por ti?" Ripper asked seriously.

Bella laughed as she replied, "No, don't."

"Alright," Ripper said, grabbing a box of pizza and walking back towards the back of the house. Hyde was smiling at him as Ripper sat down next to him.

"Shut up Hyde."

"Hmm?" Hyde hummed. "I didn't say anything."

"No," Ripper replied, grabbing a slice of pizza, "but your look implied it."

Hyde laughed as he grabbed a slice as well.

After that they didn't fight at all since the air was filled with funny stories and laughter. It was very late when everyone went back to their homes to sleep.
