Remus groaned, feeling strangely well rested. He smiled, catching Harry's Scent nearby... Then sat up with a start as he registered something, truly horrific about that smell.
Looking around. He found himself in a strange bedroom. Well, maybe "Strange" wasn't the right word, but it certainly wasn't his.
"You're awake!" Harry was sitting in the chair next to him. Looking fairly worse for wear. He looked like he had been through an ordeal... and Remus didn't need to guess to know the cause. His sent, something only a lychan had the nose to detect, spoke of the horror inflicted on the boy.
"Those CRETINS!!!" Remus raged. "They're supposed to HELP magicals!!!"
Harry stiffened, gulping, and now smelling of worry. It was similar to his scent, when he was little, and gotten into something he shouldn't have.
"This is serious, Harry." Remus chided.
"The temple did nothing wrong," Harry insisted. "It was my choice."
Remus' brain glitched, for a moment. "Your choice..."
Harry nodded, "The temple gave me some herbs, and used their magics to make my First transformation run smoothly."
"There is no such thing as 'smoothly' for werewolves!" Remus snapped.
"Trust me," Harry dared to give his cheeky grin. "I'm now fully versed in THAT."
"This isn't something to laugh about!" Remus glared. "Do you realize what this means. How serious this is!" he wasn't really asking. "Just what you've done!"
Harry looked at his adoptive father. A determined look on his face. "I saved the country," he calmly informed.
"Bloody well damn this country!" Remus roared.
"And that's why I did it," Harry still looked determined. "Because you would have refused. Because you would have let thousands die... because your the best kind of father. One that would literally damn the world to save their son... unfortunately..." Harry looked away. His determination finally waning. "I'm not a good enough son to allow that."
Remus sighed, getting out of bed. He reached for his child. Thinking of the hell the boy just damned himself to. He didn't need a lecture, not now. "You're a fine son Harry," Remus assured. Before sighing again, "I just wish you weren't such a bloody martyr." Resting Harry's head on his torso. Hugging the boy, as the teen sat in his chair.
Harry hugged his father back, his facade cracking at the man's gentle touch. "I... I thought I knew what I was agreeing to... but even with the Priestess help..."
"I know," Remus hugged his child, just a little tighter.
They stayed like that for several minutes. Until the door cracked open. It immediately began to close. Only for Remus to call, "You can come in Albus."
The old wizard walked in... sharing a similar sent to Harry's. It wasn't exact. The venom was in his veins, but not yet rooted. He hadn't gone through his first full moon, yet... that would change, next month.
"Et Tu Albus," Remus sighed.
"I'm afraid so, my boy," Dumbledore nodded. "I regret, the temple staff had to keep you under, for near over a day, as they harvested the Venom they needed to turn everyone."
Remus blinked, that would explain why his jaw was more sore then usual. If the Temple spent the night milking his fangs, it would be a given. Still, "It shouldn't have required that much, to turn two people."
"I'm afraid," Albus sighed. "It was a great many more then 2."
Remus groaned, " Albus, I realize you probably would have wanted to spare me the pain, of physically turning 10 wizards myself, but I would have at least liked to have MET the people who's lives I ruined."
"You still can," Albus informed. "They have taken up residence, here. At the former Sohma lake house. I quickly acquired the deed, and the house elves have been adding a number of extension charms. As well as a private floo, to your shop. And wards to keep the Lupin pack, and the magical creatures we brought, within our borders. Well simultaneously of course, keeping the muggles out. We are completely safe here, and all are safe from us."
"Grampa," Harry glared. "Aren't you forgetting, a rather important bit?"
Albus sighed, "I'm afraid, I accidentally recruited a good deal more then 10 individuals. Some of whom are muggles."
Remus stiffened, "How many more?"
"They have all agreed to acknowledge you as 'Alpha', and assist you in your business. The better educated ones, wish to expand your business, with there own shops around the country. Of which they will give you a percentage of their profits."
"Albus," Remus couldn't help but growl. The wolf in him, becoming truly irritated.
"Including ourselves," Albus smiled, "And some last minute additions... 42."
Remus grew strangely quiet, before looking at Harry. "Go help the others."
Harry quickly nodded. Suddenly not wanting to be here. The boy all but bolted out of the room.
The yelling, and a surprising amount of cursing, could be heard, the moment the door closed. Harry didn't even realize, his father was capable of such language.
Draco sighed, as he collected all the furniture, from the various Bedrooms. The Lord Sohma, had left them the house, fully furnished... much to the wizards' annoyance.
It was a simple matter, of shrinking everything, then mass floating them into a bag... There were only 10 bedrooms. So this would be a bit of a nightmare.
In the end, the headmaster... guess he wasn't the headmaster anymore. Anyway, Dumbledore had suggested they have the elves use extension charms on all but the master bedrooms. Which they would use for the Luxury travel trunks.
He had used the army of Hogwarts Elves, to fold space. Placing each family estate, into their own Trunk... the ones that didn't HAVE family Estates, Dumbledore just bought the Luxury Travel Cases. Which where nearly as big as an estate, anyway. Each trunk was a different color, and bore a different family crest on the lid.
The Master bedroom, was then emptied, and had all the Trunks placed in rows. With the ceiling charmed to look like the Sky, and family portraits on the walls. That could move into other frames, and talk.
Those paintings were being placed all over the property, and would even travel between the trunks. Just in case someone sneaked passed the wards.
Not everything was finished. They hadn't even been here a full day yet. However, thanks to the various families' house elves. The lake house would be finished within the week.
They were turning the other bedrooms, through extension charms, into a large: library, ballroom, dueling arena, potions lab, Dungeon, 2 green houses (as one was for magical ingredients, and the other food), a classroom (as the adults expected the kids to continue their education), and a game room (filled with all kinds of techno magic, illegal in Britain).
Draco busied himself, removing the repulsive muggle furniture. While all the families' house elves, warded the property, and set up extension Charms. Meanwhile, the adult wizards were setting up floos, and various other enchantments.
"Hi-hi," Draco turned to a boy, about his age, setting over to him. It was the Potter spawn.
"Finally decided to get off your lazy ass, and help?" Draco snorted.
Potter blushed, "Oi! My dad went through one hell of a time, last night. Someone had to ease him through this."
Draco rolled his eyes, before saying the obvious. "You know, everyone thinks your living in some forest, running around half naked, and howling at the moon. I mean, when a werewolf kidnaps someone, they usually don't wait 14 years before turning them."
Having heard Potter's story, when Dumbledore was explaining what was going on. Draco was given the choice to follow his mother, and godfather, out here... to live as a monster in the woods... or stay in England, and never seeing his family again. Draco was 15 now, and had just completed his owls. His mother thought he was ready to make adult decisions... but it really wasn't much of a choice.
Draco blinked, seeing the look of horror on Potter's face.
The boy gulped, but forced himself to ask. "K-Kidnapped?"
