Chapter 4 Lyoko
It's been a week since Dom and his crew joined the Legion and since their System was hacked by someone who accessed every file on enemies everyone in the Legion has faced before and After the Merge.
"I still don't understand why someone would hack our systems just to gain access to those specific files." Wasp said.
"While there are some theories the most likely is Darkseid is trying to gain more allies from Earth." Batman said.
"Then why was the Hack found in France in this area?" Duke asked.
"That is what we are gonna find out." Sean said walking in with Rogue making Korra frown. "We have strong reason to believe someone as the Kadic Academy is responsible for this." Sean said.
"Oh come on. It's full of kids. Who could pull that off?" Brian asked.
"Your team is full of what most would call common criminals and yet you managed to pull off a heist for a hundred million. Nothing is as it seems." Sean said.
"Ok thats fair." Brian said.
"Besides theres another reason we're going there. As I've said before the Legion is still new. Full of people from each universe that was merged into one. That being said." Sean said.
"We're looking for potential recruits." Dom said.
"Bingo." Sean said.
"The School has had unique individuals in the past that have become important figures across the world. And those are people who could prove beneficial to us in years to come." Amanda said.
"So while we're looking for our little hacker...We'll also be recruiting." Sean said.
"Well, hopefully we'll find what we're looking for with little problems." Lantern said.
"We will." Sean said as they left.
Kretea looked at Korra seeing her glare at Rogue making her raise an eyebrow as they walked off.
"Is there something wrong?" Kretea asked.
"Huh?" Korra asked.
"I see you glaring at Rogue. Do you have some problem with her?" Kretea asked.
"It's nothing." Korra said walking away.
"Hmm." Kretea said.
"I think I know what her issues are." Diana said.
"Oh?" Kretea asked.
"She has feelings for him." Diana said.
"Ah, I should have known." Kretea said.
"I'm disappointed that Rogue got to him first but theres no point in wondering what could have been." Diana said.
"Hmm." Kretea said.
"Do you also have feelings for him?" Diana asked making her smile lightly.
"He is...Unique. He understands people more than most. Sees more good in them than any other and knows how to balance out everything. Between light and Dark. Good and Evil. Never judges those whose lives were led down a path of darkness due to circumstances or when they are trying to make amends for what they've done. Including myself." Kretea said.
"Because of what your Ares tricked you into doing?" Diana asked.
"I may have left my family behind to follow Ares's will...But I always loved my husband and my daughter Calliope. Ares took that away from me. I was hoping perhaps he could give back what I lost." Kretea said.
Later
The School of Kadic Acedemy was assembled in the Gym.
"Attention please. I am very pleased to welcome to all of you Members of the Legion who have decided to come to our school." Principle Delmas said as Sean stepped forward.
"I'm very pleased to meet some young and talented minds here. Theres two reasons we're here. First of all we've come to see and observe everyone here. As everyone here knows the Legion is still a new group thats been established to bring order and peace not just for one world but this entire new Universe my Great Grandfather made when he Merged every universe he created together into one." Sean said surprising them by that since some still didn't know that.
"Whats the other reason?" A kid asked.
"I'll be very blunt." Sean said.
"We're looking for a hacker here who hacked into our network last week." Hobbs said shocking them all.
"Last week someone hacked into our network and copied files on every enemy we've faced both before and After the Merge." Motoko said.
"Our Mission here is to find out who and why. Last thing we need is someone working with our top enemies. Darkseid, Thanos and Vilgax." Sean said.
"Why do you think it's here?" Delmas asked.
"Because the source of the Hack originated in this area. And all we have to go on...Is this symbol." Price said as it appeared on the screen.
Gat Looked out seeing four kids a girl and three boys looking shocked.
"Whoever we're looking for used this as a calling card one would say." Sean said.
"We're not interrogating anyone here. We're just looking for answers. But if anyone has any information we'd appreciate it if you'd step forward." Chun li said.
Soon the studnets began to leave.
"There was a group of kids who looked real shocked when that symbol showed up." Gat said pointing to them as Sean eyed the girl.
"Well, Theres a face I haven't in a few years." Sean said.
Outside the Group of young adults Jeramy, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi talked about this.
"I don't believe this. XANA actually hacked into the Legion and led them right back to here." Jeramy said.
"But why though? Why does he want the files on every enemy members of the Legion have?" Ulrich asked.
"Maybe he wants to know more about the Legion to sabotage them." Odd said.
"I don't think so." Yumi said.
"Well, well." Sean said shocking them as he walked to them. "It's been a long time Yumi." Sean said as she lightly smiled at him.
"Wait you know each other?" Jeramy asked.
"We met a few years back." Yumi said as the two walked off.
"So...I see you've finally made some friends considering you considered yourself a loner." Sean said making her smile softly.
"Yeah. It was an interesting way we all met. So how long you gonna be here?" Yumi asked.
"Until we find out who hacked us and bring him or her in to find out why. Why? Trying to get rid of me?" Sean asked amused making her giggle.
"Hardly. Finally find a girl yet?" Yumi asked making him smirk pointing behind her making her look seeing Rogue talking with Motoko. "Oh. I kinda figured you were into the Gothic type of girls." Yumi said.
"And look what you are." Sean said making her grin. "You know I actually cared about her so much I even offered to take her back home with me." Sean said surprising her.
"What happened?" Yumi asked.
"Ah, she never showed because of her insecurities and felt like she would be an outcast which wouldn't have been true. My dad found me and brought me back after that." Sean said.
Unknown to them was that Korra was listening in and frowned at this.
Later
Rogue was talking with Gat as the others inspected the place.
"Those Kids clearly know something." Gat said.
"Oh yeah?" Rogue asked.
"Hey." Korra said walking to them.
"Find anything?" Gat asked.
"No but from the looks of things no has a grudge or anything against us. So I don't think it was anyone in the school." Korra said.
"Gat seems to think some students know. One of which Sean knows personally." Rogue said.
"What could they know?" Korra asked.
"Thats what we're gonna find out." Gat said as he left.
"I hope he ends up wrong. I don't want Sean to end up going up against a friend of his." Rogue said looking at him from a distance.
"You care about him?" Korra asked.
"More than anything. I wished I wasn't so insecure or I Would have gone with him. But it's not easy being an outcast." Rogue said making her eyes widen.
"Is that what you consider yourself?" Korra asked.
"It's easy for you not to understand. Your adored by millions from where you come from. I was abandoned when I was a baby by my own parents. My Adoptive mother didn't understand me much. Sean was the only one before I joined the X men who understood me for me." Rogue said making her frown.
Realizing now why Sean and Rogue were so close because they were the same. Rogue was an outcast because of her personality and Sean felt like that because he was different from his people.
"Is that why you've been giving me the glares because your Jealous?" Rogue asked shocking her making her smirk. "I'm not blind. I saw the clear looks the second they started." Rogue said making her sigh.
"Well, he's been helping me since day one he showed up. It's hard not to fall for someone like that." Korra said making her grin.
"What if...I told you there was a way we could both be with him?" Rogue asked shocking her.
"Huh?" Korra asked.
"Little thing he told me about his people they have harems." Rogue said making her blink.
"Your joking right? Thats actually a thing for them?" Korra asked.
"Hey they live for the largest number of years and his Great Grandfather is 5 Centillion years old and that is one of the highest numbers people can think of. You really think they don't have more than one lover or wife or whatever?" Rogue asked making her think on that.
"Ok good point but..." Korra tried to say till they spotted Yumi and her friends running off.
"Oh boy." Rogue said.
Later
Yumi and the others were at an abandoned factory in what was known as the Super Computer room.
"The Legion is asking all around about what happened. It's not gonna be long till they start looking here." Ulrich said.
"Maybe they'll just give up and go home." Odd said.
"No, I know Sean. He never gives up. Eventually he's gonna come here and find the Super Computer." Yumi said.
"What worries me is if they do they may shut it down...And we lose Aelita in the process." Jeremy said.
"And who's Aelita?" Sean asked shocking them seeing Sean, Hobbs and Dom.
"If you're gonna go somewhere make sure you're not being followed." Dom said.
Jeremy tried to go to the keyboard but Mikey jumped down.
"BOOGA BOOGA!" Mikey yelled.
"AHHHH!" Jeremy screamed making Sean chuckle.
"Everyone is scared of your face Mikey." Raph said as the other Turtles jumped down.
"Oh boy." Odd said.
"So...Care to tell me whats going on? Clearly you know." Sean said.
The group looked at each other uncertain.
"We can do this the easy way." Leo said.
"Or the hard way." Raph said.
"All right. We know who hacked into your systems. He's called XANA." Jeremy said.
"Who's that?" Sean asked.
"A powerful AI on the computer who has a vendetta against humans and has tried before to hurt the City and take us out." Jeremy said.
"So shut it down. Simple as that." Hobbs said.
"Not so simple. Yes we could shut it down and stop him for good...But we'd lose Aelita." Jeremy said.
"Who?" Sean asked.
"She Lives on Lyoko which is a virtual world. We met her a couple months before the Merge." Jeremy said.
"Ok...So what are you trying to do?" Donny asked.
"We're trying to bring her into the real world with the scanners down below. I can virtualize Yumi and the others onto Lyoko and they always come back. And if they can come back." Jeremy said.
"You believe you can bring her into our world. I get it." Sean said.
"Where is she?" Dom asked as she appeared on the screen showing she had white skin and pink hair.
"Hello." Aelita said.
"Interesting. Ok...Let me see this Lyoko for myself." Sean said.
Yumi led him and Gat down to the Scanners.
"Who built all this anyway?" Gat asked.
"We have no idea." Yumi said.
"Ok get to the scanners." Jeremy said as they went in before they were scanned and virtualized.
Sean, Yumi and Gat appeared on Lyoko in what was the Forest Sector before the first and third dropped down hard.
"OW!" Sean yelled before seeing he was in unique armor. (Picture Experimental Jedi Armor from Force Unleashed 2)
"Nice look." Yumi said making him look at her seeing she looked like a Japanese Geisha
"Not bad." Gat said in purple combat gear. (The Gear he gets in saints row 4 after he gets super Powers)
Sean looked around the Area.
"Wow. This is impressive." Sean said taking his helmet off.
"How's it look?" Hobbs asked.
"Like I'm in a Video game." Sean said.
"Hi." Aelita said stepping out from a tree.
"Ah, So your Aelita. Nice to meet you." Sean said.
"Likewise." Aelita said.
"So how does this XANA jackass attack Earth?" Gat asked.
"Through those." Aelita said pointing to a tower that was blue.
"Towers?" Sean asked.
"He uses those to gain access to the real world. Aelita enters them and deactivates them and she only she can." Yumi said.
"And you've been doing this for months?" Sean asked.
"With next to no real problems." Jeremy said.
"Theres no way you guys have been doing this for months without raising some serious questions." Gat said.
"Well, there actually is a way. I don't know how but the Super Computer also can jump back in time by at least 2 days. Thats how no one raises any concerns when he attacks because..." Jeremy said.
"He never did. I'm impressed." Sean said.
"Uh oh." Jeremy said in alarm.
"What is it?" Sean asked before some crab like machines appeared.
"Uh oh." Yumi said pulling out a fan.
"Oh this is easy." Gat said before a gun appeared in his hand. "Hey I just pictured it and it appeared." Gat said.
"You also have unique abilities when on Lyoko." Jeremy said.
"Nice." Sean said as his palms glowed before blasting them back into the Digital sea while Gat shot the rest easily.
"That was easy." Yumi said impressed.
"Hang on a second." Jeremy said.
"What more? Bring them on." Gat said.
"Thats weird. I can't tell what they are." Jeremy said.
What sounded like rolling was heard making them look seeing something Sean and Gat knew.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me." Gat said.
"Droidekas!" Sean yelled seeing droids that unballed as Sean got Yumi to cover while Gat did the same for Aelita as they started blasting them.
"What are those?" Aelita asked.
"Droids." Sean said as he blasted them back before regular droids appeared and started blasting them.
"I think we just found out why XANA hacked our network. Get us some help here!" Sean yelled as Gat started firing at them.
"I don't believe this." Jeremy said.
"Send us in." Hobbs said as he and Dom rushed down.
"Right I'm starting the Transfer." Jeremy said.
Soon the two appeared on Lyoko.
"Whoa." Hobbs said seeing himself in advanced armor with a Chain gun in hand.
"Not bad." Dom said seeing the same thing. (Picture Dom in his Riddick outfit while Hobbs is his GI JOE Retaliation gear)
"You can admire yourselves later. Get a move on." Jeremy said.
"On it kid." Hobbs said as they rushed off.
Sean growled as he blasted some more droids before something new showed up.
"OH YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!" Gat yelled as Vilgax of all things showed up but had XANA's symbol on his chest.
"So this is why XANA took the files. So he could recreate them to fight all of us." Yumi said avoiding getting hit.
Thats when the droids got gunned down by Dom and Hobbs.
"Incoming more." Jeramy said as Leo, Raph and Donny came down.
"Whoa." Raph said inspecitng himself as Mikey came in last.
"Radicule dudes." Mikey said excited. (Picture them in their Cyber Gear)
Vilgax roared as he and Sean fought before grabbing his arm and slammed him down hard.
"COWABUNGA!" Mikey yelled as he slammed right into him.
"Ok this is getting out of hand." Yumi said as she led Aelita to the tower.
"What are you doing?" Donny asked.
"Aelita can't fight. The Tower is the only thing to keep her safe." Yumi said.
"GO!" Hobbs yelled as they blasted the enemy back.
Sean roared before throwing Vilgax into the Digital sea.
"We're clear." Dom said.
"Awesome." Mikey said before Raph hit him in the head. "OW!" Mikey yelled.
"Not awesome." Leo said.
"Well, that just complicated things." Yumi said as they were brought back.
Later
"Ok so XANA clearly stole the files so he could make them there so he could have a new edge." Sean said.
"Looks that way." Jeremy said.
"So what do we do?" Dom asked.
"I'm not shutting down the Super Computer knowing it would deny Aelita a chance in the real world. But at the same time I can't let them go at this alone like they have for months since now they're at a major disadvantage." Sean said.
"So what do we do?" Leo asked.
"We'll be taking control of this operation and they'll do their part. Jeremy will continue to try making a Materialization Program. Once thats done and She's in the real world...We shut this thing down and destroy it so no one will ever get their hands on it ever again to awaken him." Sean said.
"I can help with that." Donny said.
"So can I." Tej said.
"Good." Sean said.
"Hold it." Hobbs said getting their attention. "The only way I'll agree to this is if we tell the Public about this completely. Like you said we don't keep secretes. This way it doesn't send them into a panic and cause more problems than it's worth." Hobbs said.
"But if people know about this they might try to destroy it and Aelita with it." Jeremy said.
"They won't We'll place heavy security around here." Hobbs said.
"I agree. Sorry guys it's the only way." Sean said making them sigh.
"Ok you win." Jeremy said. "But how are the three of us gonna work on this together. Theres only one computer." Jeremy said.
"Oh thats easy." Sean said touching the Computer before it started upgrading shocking them all but Yumi as it turned into extremely advanced tech with multiple computers appearing. "I can upgrade any technology just by touching it." Sean said as the whole place began to change along with the scanners and Super Calculator.
"Oh this just got a whole lot better." Ulrich said.
Later
"So how are your folks?" Sean asked Yumi as they walked the streets.
"Dead. The Merger." Yumi said making him stop.
"Ah, Damnit Yumi...I didn't..." Sean tried to say.
"It's ok. I know it wasn't your fault. Just random like everyone else. I got put in the Post Merger thing where your provided everything you need afterwards. I live on Campus now." Yumi said.
"You know I'm building a large Estate not far from it. You could move into it so you have more space." Sean said making her smile.
"I'll think about it." Yumi said as he led her back to the school. "It was nice seeing you again after three years." Yumi said making him smirk as he left.
"So you have feelings for him?" Korra asked making her jump in surprise.
"Don't do that!" Yumi yelled making her chuckle.
"Sorry. But you didn't answer the question." Korra said making her smile lightly.
"When I met him three years ago he was this Strong and confident person. Not afraid to speak his mind and wanted to do something useful with his life. It's hard not to fall for someone like that." Yumi said making her grin. "I'm disappointed he's with someone now but I can live with it." Yumi said.
"What if I told you theres a way we could all have him." Korra said confusing her.
"What are you talking about? He's already with Rogue." Yumi asked.
"As it so happens. His people have harems so it's not difficult for all of us to be with him." Korra said shocking her.
"You realize you're talking about sharing one guy." Yumi said.
"Oh I know. Besides theres another reason too." Korra said.
"And that is?" Yumi asked.
"Right now the Immortals numbers have gone down from populating an entire universe to just a little over a hundred thousand. So their numbers are extremely low compared to before the Merge and the poison that infected their energy supply to breathe." Korra said.
"Oooh. I get where you're going with this." Yumi said.
"So how bout it?" Korra asked making her grin.
"Well, why not." Yumi said.
Meanwhile
"So this XANA is going to be a problem?" Amanda asked.
"Seems that way. At least until we can materialize Aelita." Sean said.
"Wouldn't it make more sense to simply shut it down and avoid the threat. To keep it on for just one person seems...Illogical." Tarkin said.
"I understand that but if they've been able to do this for four months with little to no difficulty and no fatalities I say it's worth the risk. Besides we also need to figure out who made that thing. Otherwise that mystery will remain unsolved and lead to future issues." Sean said.
"I see. I suppose that is true." Tarkin said.
"And if we can destroy XANA in the process this Lyoko place could lead to some benefits as well." Sean said.
"Like what?" Amanda asked.
"Unknown for now but in time we can figure it out." Sean said.
Author's note: And now we got Lyoko added in. Personally I really love adding this in since this was my favorite series as a kid. And it was the first story series I finished years ago in less than one month. The updated date on Lyoko Warrior from the future is from Author's notes I added in. It took me one month to finish that story. Not my best but I still did it. Anyway next Chapter is based on a favorite series..
