Chapter 13 Viking for hire
Sean sighed as he was getting out of bed.
Its been a month since the whole Zilla incident with the original and 99% of the nest being killed off with only one that remained.
This one on the other hand was not aggressive and couldn't reproduce like it's father downsizing concerns.
Already it was growing big with it now double the size of a T-Rex.
And then there was the fact that Sean decided to create a council of sorts of certain members of the Legion to help lighten the load of his responsibilities.
It actually worked better than he expected since it helped him with plans and projects.
Right now there were three councils being built. The High council which involved it's important members.
The Millitary council which control the entire military operations.
And then there the civilian council which handles the operations for the people which was short at the moment.
Sighing he got out of bed before being pulled back down.
"Going somewhere?"
Sean smirked seeing April in bed with him in only a black thong flashing her bare breasts at him.
"I got some things to do." Sean said.
"Aww. More important than me?" April asked pouting sexually.
"Don't give me that bullshit. My Sister does that better." Sean said making her giggle.
"Thats because she's five. So whats up?" April asked.
"I gotta head to Berk since Stoick is part of the council I need to go over some things." Sean said.
"Oh. Well, I'll be waiting." April said making him chuckle as he left.
Later
Sean smiled seeing things were looking better than last time when Mildew tried to get the dragons off the island.
"Hey Sean." Thrud said walking to him.
"Theres my favorite viking girl." Sean said making her grin. "Hows the old Fart?" Sean asked making her roll her eyes.
"Annoying as ever. So what brings you back to Berk?" Thrud asked.
"Making sure Stoick knows the procedures since he's part of the new council." Sean said.
"How does this council work anyway?" Thrud asked as they walked to the dragon academy.
"Basically we are in charge of everything. I run everything though in all three councils. But they help lighten the load of responsibilities. Theres a high council which is comprised of our strongest, Smartest and most strategic members. Stoick is in that section. Then theres a military council which runs the military section. And then finally a civilian council which handles day to day things like jobs, Food, Energy and so on. It's easy with the tech we have. And soon money will be long forgotten since it causes more problems than it's worth." Sean said.
"I guess it kinda does. Except here. Everyone works together so well...Save for one." Thrud said.
"How the hell are you related to him anyway?" Sean asked.
"Grandma got drunk had Dad and then he had me with Mom and both died during one Dragon raid almost ten years ago." Thrud said.
"The Flightmare?" Sean asked.
"You've seen it?" Thrud asked surprised.
"Sure. Never attacked me though. Then again no animal attacks my kind. I can never explain it to be brutally honest" Sean said as they made it to the Academy before Stormfly shot her spine shots at the twins and Snotlout making him laugh. "Never gets old." Sean said as she giggled.
"Hey Sean. What are you doing here?" Hiccup asked.
"Just looking for your dad to go over his responsibilities." Sean said.
"Because he's part of the council now?" Astrid asked.
"Yup." Sean said.
"Oh please. I'm a better choice." Snotlout said making everyone deadpan at him. "What? I'll be taking his job soon anyway." Snotlout said before screaming as Sean grabbed him and spun around real fast before he let go and he flew into the wall out cold making Hookfang laugh.
"Dumbass." Sean said as they left.
Soon coming into town they spotted Gobber trying to sell his once used dragon killing weapons as other appliances.
"Oh no." Thrud said.
"Bravo Hiccup. You ruined his life by making peace with the dragons. Now all his weapons are worthless." Mildew said as Sean grabbed him making him yell.
"Hey Gobber? I got an idea. Use an Axe to slice off the head of an annoying bitter old man who can't accept change." Sean said making him scream in shock.
"Good idea." Gobber said grabbing one.
"AHHHHHHH!" Mildew yelled in fear before passing out as everyone else laughed.
"Nice." Sean said kicking him away. "So whats going on?" Sean asked.
"Ah, Ever since we made peace with the dragons there hasn't been much need for these old weapons anymore." Gobber said sighing.
"You could always just send them to the Legion." Sean said.
"Ah, This kind is old fashioned compared to the more high tech stuff you kids got." Gobber said.
"Mmm." Sean said as he walked to the others.
"I feel bad for Gobber. It's because of me he's out of business." Hiccup said.
"Oh please. Even he would agree you changed things for the better." Sean said.
"Come on Hiccup give yourself some credit. You helped us see Dragons aren't the Vicious blood thirst monsters we always believed. And you took down the Red Death with Toothless. That alone proved they aren't since it isn't controlling them anymore." Astrid said.
"I know...But now Gobber is out of job and he taught me everything which is how I made Toothless's replacement tail before Sarah gave it back." Hiccup said.
"Speaking of which how come Sarah hasn't given his old foot back?" Thrud asked making them think the same.
"I...Didn't ask. Guess I got so used to it that it didn't even occur to me." Hiccup said making them laugh.
Later
"So let me get this straight? You asked Gobber to do half the things you do so it'll make the work load easier?" Sean asked Stoick.
"Sure. After all you did the same thing for that council to lighten the work load for you." Stoick said.
"True...But theres one major difference between that and this." Sean said.
"And that is?" Stoick asked before seeing Mulch and Bucket fighting each other with weapons Gobber made.
"You actually know what you're doing." Sean said.
"Oh." Stoick said before sighing just as Gobber sent an ironed up ship down the ocean. "Ok...Clearly this is not gonna work." Stoick said. (I laughed so hard when Gobber tried to help Stoick in the village but gave him an even bigger headache)
Later
Stoick placed two large ice blocks on his head in his home before Sean gave him a pill.
"I know your still getting used to tech but this will help way better." Sean said making him take it and downed his entire mug.
"Thanks." Stoick said.
"I know it was a rough day but it was his first." Hiccup said.
"And his last...Gobber has no idea how to delegate or solve something without making it worse. Son...I know you're feeling guilty about what happened to his business but the fact is thats all he's good at doing." Stoick said.
"Yeah...But we can't just not help him." Hiccup said.
"We'll find something he's good at doing eventually." Sean said as he left.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the man who ruins the lives of others." Mildew said making him glare.
"At least I don't lie to the people about something I did like you." Sean said getting in his face.
"Bah. You immortals claim you care about others...But in truth you only cause nothing but suffering. Just look at Poor Gobber." Mildew said.
"You know what? I'm too tired to deal with you. So I'm going to bed. But I won't be in bed alone. I'll ask Thrud if she'd like to join me." Sean said walking away as he gasped in shock.
"YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY GRANDDAUGHTER! YOU HEAR ME KRUGER!" Mildew yelled making him smirk before seeing said girl walking to him.
"Hey Thrud I'm heading off to bed. Like to join me?" Sean asked making her blush before seeing Mildew and smirked.
"Sure...I don't mind at all." Thrud said.
"THRUD! THRUD!" Mildew screamed as they were out of sight.
"So where exactly do you sleep when you're here?" Thrud asked before a portal opened up to his home in DC. "Oh figures." Thrud said.
"You realize I'm not actually talking about Sex right?" Sean asked making her giggle punching his arm.
"I know. I figured it was to screw with him. Besides. I like you sure. But I don't know you that much just yet." Thrud said as she got out of her clothes till she was only in a pair of panties that was a thong making him smirk. She had very large breasts on her with wide hips and some Norse tattoos on her. "What? Korra got me these." Thrud said grinning making him smirk as he got out of his clothes till he was in boxers making her look at his muscled body loving the 12 pack. "And I thought I like to train a lot." Thrud said since she had her own muscles with a 6 pack on her.
Getting into bed She smiled as she laid her head on his chest making him grin holding her close.
Next day
"Ok." Sean said chuckling seeing Saddles for the Dragon riders Gobber made...In the worst way possible for each dragon.
"Like them? I feel like they do wonders for these dragons." Gobber said.
"Gobber...May I have a word?" Sean asked leading him away.
"Sean wait." Hiccup said but Thrud stopped him.
"Let him handle this. He's better at breaking something more gently." Thrud said.
"Look I know your trying to help but this is not what Hiccup had in mind. He just wants regular saddles." Sean said.
"Oh." Gobber said looking back.
"You know he feels beyond guilty about what happened to your business. And Mildew is making it worse." Sean said.
"Guilty? For what? Because of him it's no longer kill or be killed here anymore. Theres nothing to feel guilty about at all." Gobber said.
"But you're not doing what you used to love doing as much anymore. And you built your life on that. Thats why he feels so guilty." Sean said making him frown.
"Oh." Gobber said before walking to said viking.
"I think it's nice he cares so much but he's gotta speak his mind more since it's not fair to either of them." Thrud said.
"Hiccup is more considerate than most on this island. More so than the old fart." Sean said making her giggle as they left.
Later
"Feel better?" Sean asked Hiccup.
"Like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders." Hiccup said.
"Sometimes it's better to be brutally honest than lie and suffer. Thats why my people never lie." Sean said.
"I never understood that. How can they not lie?" Thrud asked.
"It's against our nature. Not even my Aunt's and uncles would lie since despite what they do they still believe in our ways. But in their minds you guys are a threat to us because of that invasion Eons ago." Sean said.
"But we had nothing to do with it though." Astrid said.
"You really think it matters to them?" Thrud asked.
"I know they suffered the loss of their parents back then but blaming everyone not from their universe is unfair." Sean said before they heard Hookfang roar making them look seeing him go nuts.
"What the hell is going on with him?" Thrud asked as Snotlout ran to them.
"What did you do now?" Sean asked annoyed.
"I don't know. All I did was pet him on the cheek and then this happened." Snotlout said making Sean frown.
"SEE! This is proof Dragons are a menace! Put them all down I say!" Mildew yelled. (I'm surprised he didn't try to pull this in the episode since this would have been something he would do)
"Wait." Gobber said seeing him rub his mouth on the ground. "Ah. Now I get it." Gobber said rushing off with a pair of pliers for a hand before opening his mouth wide and pulled a tooth out showing it was damaged.
"Oh so thats what was wrong. I forgot Dragons have similar problems like any other animal." Hiccup said.
"BAH! So what if it was a bad tooth. I say." Mildew tried to say.
"WILL YOU SHUT UP!" Thrud yelled at him making him look at her in shock. "You claim Dragons are a menace I don't see them lying and killing each other for dumb reasons like you do!" Thrud yelled making him stutter knowing her couldn't retort. "Dumbass." Thrud said walking to Sean who held her close as they walked off.
"Gobber...I got an idea for ya." Sean said making him grin.
Next morning
Sean smiled seeing Gobber had his shop opened that could take care of Dragons teeth and other needs.
"Aw. Thats nice. At least he's got something to do on his spare time now." Thrud said as they walked off.
"So...I assume your looking for a place to live since your tired of living with the bitter old man?" Sean asked making her grin
"Yeah. Not a lot of places though since it will take time to build a place I want from the ground up." Thrud said.
"And that is where your wrong." Sean said leading her to a large and decent house that had a wooden bull dragon head making her gasp in surprise. "Since I'm gonna be coming here every now and then I decided to build a place for me. And I'd like you to move in since that way you won't have to deal with the old man." Sean said as they went inside before finding it full of furniture.
"Sean. I don't know what to say." Thrud said.
"Say nothing. I." Sean tried to say before she kissed him much to his surprise before kissing back as she pulled back and smiled.
