Chapter 21 Like a rock
It's been a few days since the Skull island incident which involved rescuing Team Rocket who finally ended that part of their lives and since Mowgli was brought back since the Merge had killed all her people.
Along with Varrick who was given a major warning not to go anywhere near the island again so he could illegally poach Kong.
That in turn annoyed him and swore he would get the Legion disbanded.
Right now though
Sean was at the Xiaolin Temple.
"Whats going on here?" Sean asked.
"We are training of course. I am the fastest." Omi said.
"You have years more experience." Sean said simply.
"So all I gotta do is get the dog and thats it?" Clay asked.
"Yup." Kimiko said.
"This should be interesting." Sean said leaning on wall.
"Ready...Go!" Kimiko yelled as Clay just walked to the dummy dog and picked it up.
"Here you go." Clay said handing it to Omi. "Think I shaved a few seconds off your record." Clay said making Kimiko and Rai burst out laughing while Omi looked annoyed.
"But...You are supposed to jump and kick!" Omi yelled.
"I didn't really see the point of all that as long as I got the little dog." Clay said.
"In other words you saw a more simple solution rather than a more complicated one." Sean said.
"Yeah." Clay said.
"I do not understand." Omi said.
"What makes more sense. Go through all that? Or just walk behind and get the objective?" Sean said.
"Huh?" Omi asked.
"He's saying that you don't always have to do things the hard way. Sometimes you can just solve anything with simple solutions." Kimiko said.
"Yeah." Rai said.
"Ahh. So if you ever were faced with a large problem you could solve it easier than most would think." Omi said understanding.
"Partially. It all depends on the situation." Sean said.
"Indeed." Master Fung said walking to him.
"Thats why I learned from various people over the years. Both good and Evil." Sean said.
"But...A good leader is supposed to learn from pure good people." Omi argued.
"Not true. Did you know Master Dashi's instructor was also not a good person?" Master Fung said shocking him.
"Yup. That old nut job was a lunatic." Dojo said remembering him before shuddering.
"Whats with you?" Sean asked.
"We got a Live one. A new Shen Gong Wu." Dojo said.
"I've heard about these from an old friend." Sean said.
"Yeah and it's the first one since the Merge. Why is that?" Kimiko asked.
"When the Merge occurred it severally unbalanced the scale of good and evil. It took time for them to find proper balance to awaken." Master Fung said.
Soon they made it to the great hall before Master Fung opened the vault to the Wu.
"So how many you got? 10? 20?" Sean asked.
"3." Kimiko said.
"Three?" Sean asked surprised.
"Shortly before the Merge we had just finished finding the first three." Omi said.
"Oh. So what do you got?" Sean asked.
"The Mantis Flip Coin, The Two ton Tunic and the Eye of Dashi." Kimiko said.
"Not bad." Sean said.
"Dibs on the Eye of Dashi." Rai said.
"You cannot have it. You do not know what it will do." Omi argued.
"Sure I do. It shoots lightning." Raimundo said.
"But I won it in the Showdown. I should be the first to use it." Omi said.
"Are you going to be some child and demand what you want?" Sean asked annoyed.
"Let's let him decide." Kimiko said.
"In that case it should go to the one who won the obstacle course." Sean said.
"HA! In your head Raimundo!" Omi mocked.
"It's called in your face." Sean said making him chuckle sheepishly. "And I wasn't talking about you. Clay was the fastest." Sean said making him grin.
"WHAT! But he..." Omi tried to say as Sean handed it to him.
"Much obliged." Clay said.
"Kimiko gets the Tunic and Raimundo gets the Coin." Sean said.
"Thank you." Kimiko said.
"But...I get nothing?" Omi asked whimpering before yelling as Sean kicked him topside.
"Call it payback for calling me Evil for being trained by those most consider evil and acting like a spoiled child and being selfish." Sean said making him groan seeing his words came to haunt him.
Later
Soon the five arrived at some field.
"Ah I love nature." Sean said as a bird landed on him making him smile.
"You know I just recalled. How come certain animals like your kind and others like them skull crawlers don't? Doesn't seem to make much sense." Clay said.
"Well...Theres a theory on that. Some animals who are blood thirsty like the Skull crawlers are immune to the affects my kind put on animals." Sean said.
"So it works on the more calm ones." Omi said.
"Mostly. Godzilla and the Titans that I know are calm around us while those Skull Crawlers are not." Sean said.
"Ugh. Skull Crawlers. No offense but that name is just creepy. Who came up with that anyway?" Raimundo asked.
"Mowgli did. Thats what her people called them." Sean said before flying robots arrived.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Behold the Evil army of the Boy Genius..."
"Jack?" Sean asked making him blink seeing him.
"Oh hey Sean. Didn't see ya." Jack said.
"You know this goofball?" Raimundo asked.
"HEY! Watch it! Last I checked I got the first Wu pre Merge." Jack said annoyed.
"He and I have a history. What are you doing?" Sean asked.
"Collecting the Wu duh. How else am I supposed to conquer the world?" Jack asked.
"Oh not this shit again." Sean said before his armor appeared on him.
Thats when his robots started attacking.
Sean easily blasted them down while Raimundo used the coin to take them out.
"Bet you wish you had this Wu. Oh but thats right. Your big mouth made sure you didn't." Raimundo mocked making Omi frown seeing this wasn't going away any time soon.
Sean continued blasting the robots before noticing Clay wasn't doing anything.
"Uh you wanna get in this?" Sean asked.
"Just taking my cleansing breath. Now I'm ready to." Clay tried to say before both and Dojo were pushed off a cliff.
"Guys!" Kimiko yelled.
"We're all right. Just get that Fist." Sean said stabbing a blade into the rock while Clay and Dojo held onto a branch.
Soon all of Jack's robots were destroyed.
"You have lost the battle Jack Spicer." Omi said.
"Oh whatever shall we do?" Jack mocked.
"Perhaps we should introduce them to our new friend. Le Mime." Wuya said as a mime came out.
"Oh come on." Raimundo said insulted before it looked like it was putting them in a box. (I find this both annoying and amusing)
"Oh look he's pretending to trap us in a box. Get real. Magic I'll accept easily no matter what merging Universe. But this?" Kimiko asked amused.
"Very silly. I..." Omi tried to say as he walked forward before hitting an invisible wall.
"What the?" Raimundo said before doing the same. "Tell me I'm not seeing this?" Raimundo asked.
"HA! You know Sean used to tell me you can't judge someone based on experience of others. Wise saying." Jack said as they left.
"How do you know the Leader of the Legion anyway?" Wuya asked curious.
"I met him 2 years before the Merge in our universe. Where do you think my inspiration came from for building my robots?" Jack asked.
"Ah." Wuyu said.
Meanwhile
Sean flew up with Clay and Dojo seeing the others.
"What the hell?" Sean asked seeing some barrier around them.
"What is it?" Clay asked.
"Theres some kind of barrier around them. While my eyes are based solely on science I have been learning to detect magic around them. Though I think I can make this easy for them." Sean said taking out the Reality stone.
"Whats that?" Dojo asked.
"It's called the Reality stone. One of the six infinity stones from the Avengers universe." Sean said snapping his fingers before it vanished.
"Whew. Nice work." Kimiko said.
"What is that stone? An ancient Immortal weapon?" Omi asked.
"Nope. This is one of the six infinity stones. The other five are Power, Space, Time, Soul and Mind. Have all six and you could change the universe to your liking. But it's not so easy." Sean said.
"Why?" Omi asked as Sean dropped it in his hand. Only for him to scream as his whole body convulsed before he took it back making him pant regaining his composure.
"Only those with extraordinary power can wield even one." Sean said making Omi depressed that he was not as powerful as he believed.
"Now what in the hell happened here?" Dojo asked.
"A stupid Mime did this." Raimundo said making Sean chuckle.
"Oh brother. Lets go." Sean said as they left.
"I'm serious it was a mime who did that to us." Raimundo said.
"Oh I believe you but I still find it funny since..." Sean tried to say before they saw him again.
"BREAKS!" Dojo yelled as they stopped.
"Don't want no trouble Mime." Clay said before he did the same pose as him.
"Are you guys gonna do something?" Raimundo asked.
"Don't seem like the feller means any harm." Clay said moving to the left as did the Mime.
"Oh no." Sean said as they both charged at each other and slammed into each other before both rubbed their heads. "The Mime is using the Mirror gag." Sean said before they both stuck their tongues out and tipped their hats.
"Can we please move on already?" Raimundo asked annoyed.
"I reckon I got an idea." Clay said holding up his fist. "Fella this is gonna hurt you more than it's gonna hurt me." Clay said before.
BAM
"Holy fuck." Sean said as the Mime went down from punching himself as did Clay leaving a black eye.
"Wow. Talk about taking one for the team." Kimiko said.
"Simple solutions." Clay said as they moved on.
Soon they found Jack and his robots searching for the Fist.
"Hmm." Sean said scanning the area.
"Anything?" Kimiko asked.
"Nothing. Then again my eyes are still adapting to magic." Sean said.
"Lets go down real quiet like." Clay said.
"Don't insult me. I'm all about stealth. And I'm not about to..." Dojo tried to say before yelling as he tripped on a rock. (Really?)
"Oh for the love of." Sean said as he landed...On the first.
"Hey. The Fist of Tebbigong. Check me out with the moves." Dojo said.
"Oh please. Blind luck is what that is." Jack said in front of him.
"Uh oh...SECURITY!" DOjo yelled as Jack grabbed it before Clay did as well making it glow.
"Looks like we're heading for a showdown." Clay said.
"NO CLAY! YOU..." Omi tried to say before Sean grabbed his head and lifted him up with a glare. "Nevermind." Omi said sheepishly.
"Whats the challenge?" Sean asked making Jack look around before smirking.
"That bird. First to catch it wins." Jack said.
"Sounds fair to me."
"XAIOLIN SHOWDOWN!" Both yelled as the whole place changed.
"Yeesh. Chase wasn't wrong when he said these were unique." Sean said shaking his head.
"Who?" Kimiko asked.
"An old friend and another mentor of mine who knows these things." Sean said.
"GONG YE TENPAI" Both yelled as Jack quickly flew after it.
Clay on the other hand just looked around before smirking as he took his hat off.
"Whats he doing?" Kimiko asked.
"He's doing it the smart way. Why chase a bird when you can make it come to you?" Sean asked as Jack yelled crashing into a tree.
Thats when the Bird landed on Clay's arm as it ate Sunflower seeds from his hat.
"See?" Sean asked.
"Oh. Very clever. Simple solutions are easily overlooked." Omi said.
"Says the guy who dismisses everyone but himself." Sean said making him lower his head.
Later
"Thats officially five Wu we got." Raimundo said as they were in the vault.
"And there are more to be gained. If we can find more of them we can easily use them to take down our enemies with ease." Sean said.
"HA! I could take down them all with both hands tied behind my back...AHHH!' Omi screamed as Sean kicked him up topside again making him groan.
"He seriously is full of himself." Sean said annoyed.
"He's been by himself for a long time so it's kinda hard to accept he's not as good as he actually thinks." Kimiko said.
"True. But he better get it through his head soon that I'm not gonna take that crap for much longer." Sean said.
Author's note: Ugh. I can't believe the emails are down again after only a week of coming back up. I'm losing my inspiration to write because of this. Anyway Next Chapter we head to Berk and we come into a few problems. One involving the dragons and the other involving someone who neglected his duty to the current Avatar. Also theres another Poll up for a new story I am working on. It's similar to this but not as large. I'd say about maybe less than a third as large as this. It's mostly going to be a Star Wars Justice League Crossover with other elements added into it. The new poll is for the head girl in that new story.
