"Cool." Alex said before looking outside seeing the streets were so empty. "You know I lived in Beverly hills for so long that I've gotten used to the place being loud and crowded in places. Now...It's like it's not Beverly Hills anymore." Alex said as he held her close.
"I know. We'll get used to eventually." Sean said before leading her to downstairs showing a large theater room making her smile.

"So how you holding up after all this? The Funerals and all." Sean said.

"Yeah." Sean said sitting down with her. "I lost a few friends outside of work who died from the Virus. But I also like to think of this as a new beginning. With so much loss of life it also means all the problems we faced have just left us." Sean said.
"Like what?" Alex asked.
"Overpopulation, World hunger, Global crime is gone. Hell it also means theres no more need for other things that have led to species being near extinction. This will help out in the long run. It'll take a long time for the world to regain half of the number the human race once had." Sean said.
"Oh yeah. I guess thats true." Alex said before grinning at him. "Does that also mean theres gonna be less rules?" Alex asked.
"Like what?" Sean asked.

"You know Honey now that the population has gone down there are gonna be a lot less rules in the world." Carmen said.
"Like what?" Alex asked.

Arriving at the beach they enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sounds of the waves.

"I'm ok. I've finally accepted what happened last month. What about you?" Alex asked.
"Still pissed but thankful I still have you and the others." Sean said making her smile as she held him.
"Oh Handsome." Mandy said making them growl.
"Of all the fucking people to survive how does she and her mother?" Sean asked.
"Maybe the Virus didn't want to touch her." Alex joked making him snort.
"So tell me. When are you gonna dump this pathetic loser and date a real woman like me?" Mandy asked.
"Oh you're a Woman? I thought you were a man." Sean said making her gasp in shock while Alex burst out laughing as Mandy growled.
"What does she have that I don't?" Mandy asked.
"One she's actually attractive. She's not self centered. She cares about others. She's not some spoiled bitch. Wanna keep going?" Sean asked.
"Hmph! One day you'll see I'm the only woman for you." Mandy said.
"Oh I disagree since A Alex isn't the only woman I'm with since the laws are changing. Two." Sean said pulling some little black box out and got on his knee making Alex gasp in shock while Mandy looked in horror seeing him with a ring that had the 12 most valuable gems in the world on it. "Will you Marry me Alex?" Sean asked making her tear up.
"Yes." Alex cried out as she kissed him.
"GRRRRR!" Mandy growled in rage as she tried to slug her but she moved back and Mandy screamed as she fell face first into the sand making them laugh.
Sean put the ring on her as Alex smiled holding him close.
"Is that why you were really gone?" Alex asked.
"Mostly. I did have a meeting but I stopped by to an old friend who survived and had this special made." Sean said making her smile softly enjoying the moment.
Authors Note: And with that Sean and Alex are now engaged. Others will follow soon enough but this was to add something special to look forward to in a distant future. Now Next Chapter is gonna be a surprise. This was also part of a massive update to introduce my new Legend of Korra Story which is a Justice League crossover. The Avatar of justice.
