Chapter 3 Malevolence
Its been a couple weeks since Sean made himself known to the Galaxy and since he tried to find the Space stone not knowing the Separatists had gotten to it first.
So for now Sean waited patiently.
Currently right now Sean was training with Ahsoka with a double bladed weapon before he knocked it out of her hands before it flew into the wall before he aimed at her neck.
"You held back." Sean stated.
"Why wouldn't I? It's a training exercise." Ahsoka said making him chuckle before he removed his helmet as did she.
"Ahsoka you're still thinking like a Jedi. Don't. Think only what is here and now." Sean said before seeing the look on her face. "Something you wish to say? You're free to speak your mind I won't judge your words." Sean said making her sigh.
"I...I keep thinking maybe destroying the force itself is not a good idea." Ahsoka said making him raise an eyebrow.
"Oh? Explain." Sean said curious.
"Master Yoda always told me that the Force binds the Galaxy makes everyone connected. When someone dies they become part of the force. What if...What if we're making a mistake in destroying it." Ahsoka said.
"Hmm. I've rethought that to be honest with you." Sean said sitting down as did she. "My original idea of destroying the force was based on the past actions of Force users. Because of all the harm the Sith have done and the Jedi who became Sith. But lately I keep asking if this is what my mother would do...And I realized no. Destroying something like that could have negative consequences." Sean said.
"So...Does that mean your view of the Jedi has also changed?" Ahsoka asked.
"Not entirely. But I realize that many Jedi in the past have done great things with the Force. Jedi who brought hope and peace. Perhaps...A compromise is not completely out of the question." Sean said making her smile which he noticed. "Your relieved by this." Sean said.
"It's just...There are still other Jedi who I care about. Like the one who found me." Ahsoka said.
"Ah. I see. Tell me who was this Jedi?" Sean asked.
"His name was..." Ahsoka tried to say before an alert came up.
"Later." Sean said putting his helmet on as did she before they rushed off.
Heading to the command center they saw some of Sean's Generals going over something.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"The Separatists do indeed have the Cosmic Cube. You need to see this." A Mandolorian said showing a fleet of Republic Cruisers being attacked by a massive cruiser.
"Holy shit." Sabine said.
"Reznov, Julia." Sean said making his two best friends step up. Reznov was a muscular man who had white skin short brown hair and purple eyes. Julia had white skin brown hair in a short ponytail and brown eyes with glasses.
"Thats some impressive toy." Reznov said before seeing what looked like the primary weapon firing up before it blasted the cruisers and destroyed them with ease.
"Their using the power of the Cosmic cube to power that weapon. One blast is enough to destroy an entire fleet in one go. Killing everyone inside and heavily damaging the cruisers." Julia said. (Thats even worse than the Ion cannon)
"Yikes." Sabine said.
"Hmm? Who's fleet was this exactly?" Sean asked.
"According to intelligence it belonged to a General Plo Koon." Reznov said shocking Ahsoka.
"Doesn't matter he's toast and we don't deal with Jedi." A soldier said.
"Trooper." Sean said making him clear his throat.
"Apologies sir."
"Sean...Maybe we should at least see if someone survived." Ahsoka said.
"Why are you so interested in this Jedi in particular?" Sean asked curious.
"Master Plo was the Jedi who found me took me to the Temple." Ahsoka said.
"Ah. In that case fine. Reznov, Julia, Sabine. You're with me. The rest of you await my orders." Sean said getting them to agree.
Later
What was left of Master Plo's fleet was in ruins.
Currently he and some of his men were in an escape pod.
"This isn't looking good sir." A clone said.
"If those clankers come looking for us we are as good as dead."
"Don't be so hasty to make assumptions Commander. The force works in many strange ways." Plo said before a large ship soon arrived before latching onto their pod. "Need I say more?" Plo asked before they landed inside seeing several other escape pods.
"Master Plo?"
Plo looked behind him seeing Ahsoka.
"Ah Little Soka. I'm surprised you were the one who rescued us." Plo said making her smile as Sean appeared.
"She does still indeed care for those within the order. And I've begun to rethink my originally plans for destroying the force with the stones after some thought." Sean said.
"Have you?" Plo asked before his men reached for their weapons. "Stand down now. It would not be civil to attack our rescuer." Plo said making them do so.
"I am willing to reach a compromise if you will with the Jedi if you are willing to hear me out." Sean said.
"I believe they will at least do that. They will have issues though since you did kill Skywalker." Plo said.
"I did that for a reason. I saw darkness in his future." Sean said.
"You can see through the force?" Plo asked surprised.
"No. On my world I'm whats known as a Mutant. I can see through peoples past, present and Future. And I saw darkness in his. Billions would suffer if I did not act. That is why I killed him." Sean said.
"Hmm. The council always saw his future clouded...Now we know why." Plo said.
"Yes. I am willing to make a deal with the Jedi. If you'll at least hear out my plans." Sean said.
"I believe I can get them to listen. You did save me and my men. That alone might make them listen." Plo said.
Later
Mace Windu and Master Yoda were on a Republic Cruiser when a transmission came through before Master Plo appeared.
"Master Plo? We feared the worst." Mace said happy he was alive.
"My men and I managed to escape certain death by the will of the force. And we were rescued. However I ask you not attack him when we arrive." Plo said ending his transmission.
Arriving at the hanger a large ship landed before Plo and his men got off.
"It is good to see you alive my friend. But who rescued you?" Mace asked.
"That is why I asked you not to attack him." Plo said as Sean and Ahsoka got off making him narrow his eyes.
"Kruger." Mace said.
"We need to talk. There is much you need to hear." Plo said.
Later
"So you have the ability to predict one's future? And you saw darkness in Skywalker's?" Mace asked Sean.
"Indeed. Billions would suffer and many within your order would die by his hands alone. My visions are never wrong." Sean said making him sigh.
"I see. We always felt that his future was clouded for a reason. Now we know why." Mace said.
"I don't approve of killing people so casually but like Thanos said the hardest choices require the strongest wills." Sean said.
"I can't deny that." Mace said.
"Nor can I." Yoda said.
"I am willing to make a compromise if you will just simply hear my plan. That is all I ask." Sean said.
"Hmm. First deal with this mystery weapon we must." Yoda said.
"I already know what it is." Sean said surprising them. "Its a massive warship thats powered by the Cosmic Cube. The Space stone." Sean said.
"That explains why there have never been any survivors until now." Mace said.
"Indeed. I'm willing to have my men fight side by side with yours until we can reach a fair compromise if you are willing to listen." Sean said.
"Very well. We'll alert the fleet on this." Mace said.
"Good." Sean said.
Later
After the fleets were alerted to the cease fire order on Sean's forces he stood in front of a squad of pilots who would be using bombers to attack the Malevolence.
"Capital ships are rather vulnerable to the enemy's attack since it's using the power of the Cosmic Cube. That alone is not only powering the primary weapon but the whole ship as well. Our strategy is simple. We are going to attack the primary weapon first." Sean said.
"With respect, sir. But wouldn't it make more sense to attack the bridge where Grievous is?" A clone asked.
"I understand that logic without question trooper. However our fleets are not safe as long as the primary weapon is online. We need to eliminate it first. Then we can go after Grievous. Do that...And we may see this war over quicker." Sean said.
"Indeed. Get to your ships and prepare." Mace said getting the men to do just that.
"This strategy is sound. Eliminating the primary weapon first before Grievous has strategy to it." Plo said.
"Skywalker would have wanted to attack the bridge first." Mace said.
"For understandable reasons but always go after the bigger threat first. Once we do that we need to get inside and find the Cube. Then we can make a compromise." Sean said.
"Indeed. Now we just need to find out where Grievous plans to strike and why." Plo said.
"He would want to inflect heavy casualties to the Republic. Where would he do that best?" Sean asked.
"Hmm. My best guess would be our medical faculty near Naboo. It is a likely target." Mace said.
"Ahsoka, Tell Garret to contact that station ASAP." Sean said making her rush off.
"If Grievous reaches that station it will deliver a serious blow to the Republic." Plo said.
"You make it sound like they care about the clones. They don't. I've kept a close eye on the senate. It's full of greedy Senators." Sean said.
"There are many who do care." Mace said.
"Some but not enough. And many have blood on their hands. But enough of that for now." Sean said.
Meanwhile
The medical station that the group had just talked about was unprotected from any form of attack.
Currently the head medic known as Nala Se was talking with Garret. (Agents of Shield)
"Even if we had the transporters, It is not possible to evacuate all of our wounded in time." Nale Se said.
"You have to at least try. You won't stand a chance against something using an infinity stone." Garret said before Kenobi appeared.
"Nale Se, I only just received word. I've contacted the Naboo. They are sending ships to help you. And I am on my way." Kenobi said.
"Thank you, Master Jedi." Nale Se said.
Later
On Sean's flagship known as the SanctuaryII was with the Republic Fleet when a large number of bombers soon emerged from said ship along with Plo Koon for Fighter escort.
"Ok lets get this over with. The sooner we find that ship the sooner we get the stone." Sean said.
"Roger that, sir." Matchstick said.
"Kruger, Kenobi is on his way to the Medical station. Hopefully they'll get there when you do and provide support." Mace said.
"Even if he doesn't get there in time we'll continue our attack and destroy the main weapon. We'll meet you there." Sean said as they entered hyperspace.
Soon they came out of hyperspace outside a nebula.
"Why are we coming out here?" A clone asked.
"We gotta go through the nebula in order to reach the station. A shortcut if you will. No other choice." Sean said.
"I'm afraid he's correct. We must go in otherwise we may be too late to stop Grievous. Still I advise caution." Plo said.
"Trust me from experience. All we can do is have faith in our abilities and our comrades." Sean said.
"Indeed." Plo said as they flew in.
Meanwhile
The Medical station was continuing with the evacuation as Medical ships from Naboo as well as Sean's forces were helping to quicken the pace.
"Evacuation is proceeding slow but we should have more than half out before they arrive." Agent Coulson said.
"We will have to move the stable patients first before the more critically injured." Nale Se said.
"What about the Bacta Tank ones? Most of them can't be moved at all." Coulson said.
"I know, agent Coulson. Guide the patients that can be moved first." Nale Se said.
"On it." Coulson said.
Meanwhile
Sean and his men continued to move through the Nebula in order to get to the station first.
"This soup is thick. Can you see anything?" Matchstick asked.
"Just stay next to me now, Matchstick." Sean said as Ahsoka hit the scanners.
"He'll have to. The Scanners are completely useless." Ahsoka said.
"This old fashion flying. You have to feel your way around here." Sean said.
"Kruger is right, Ahsoka. Clear your mind, and you will see the path." Plo said.
"Right now, I can't see anything at all." Ahsoka said making Sean snort.
"Oh but back then so many could see so much of you in that skimpy little outfit of yours before you became my student." Sean said making her blush.
"HEY!" Ahsoka yelled making the men burst out laughing while Plo chuckled in amusement. "I am going to kill you for that, Sean." Ahsoka said.
"Thats Master Kruger to you." Sean said.
"Fuck off." Ahsoka said making him chuckle.
"I'm just kidding. My armor suits you way better." Sean said.
"True." Ahsoka said looking at her gold armor.
Meanwhile
Grievous was on the bridge of his ship as they headed to the Medical station.
"Sir, the nevicomputer indicates we only have one parsec to go." A droid said.
"Good. We was maximize our casualties with this attack." Grievous said.
"General, there's an incoming transmission from Count Dooku." A droid said before he appeared.
"General Grievous, I have received intelligence from Lord Sidious. The Republic has launched a small strike force to attack the malevolence." Dooku said.
"Let the Republic come! With the Cosmic Cube nothing stands in our way." Grievous said.
"Don't be so sure. Kruger is aiding the Republic. I believe he's struck a bargain with the Jedi." Dooku said.
"Why would they work with one who killed one of their own?" Grievous asked.
"That I am unsure. Whatever bargain they've arranged...I can only assume they have great benifits to it." Dooku said.
Meanwhile
The squad continued to move through the Nebula.
"So...How did you know about this place?" Ahsoka asked.
"Oh thats easy. This an old smugglers route. Its well known to many for obvious reasons." Sean said checking the systems.
"Smugglers route? Oh that makes me feel so much better." Ahsoka said making him chuckle.
"It's called Balmorra run." Sean said.
"Balmorra run?" Plo asked in alarm,
"I know. It's a nesting ground for the those Mantis monsters." Sean said.
"Mantis?" Ahsoka asked before noticing they were emanating some kind of pulse. "Whats with the pulse?" Ahsoka asked.
"It's to repel them away from us. You didn't think I would lead this squad into a rather dangerous sector without having a way to keep us safe did ya?" Sean asked making her smile.
"I'm impressed. You planned this well in advance." Plo said.
"You don't get to be in my position without proving yourself in almost every way possible. Thats what my mother taught me." Sean said before they left the Nebula.
"We're clear." Ahsoka said.
Meanwhile
Kenobi was going over the evacuation with Reznov.
"Coulson reports the station has emptied at least 72% of its patients." Reznov said.
"Thats better than originally expected. Still we need to stop Grievous." Kenobi said.
"Kruger is on his way there. He'll stop him." Reznov said.
"You have that much faith in him?" Kenobi asked.
"He's always planning in advance. How do you think he found the Power stone when..." Reznov tried to say when he saw the look on his face. "Sorry...I uh." Reznov said.
"I know. I'll miss Anakin but hearing what he would become in later years...I understand Sean was only doing what he felt was right for the Galaxy." Kenobi said.
"Yeah. Fury and I are on our way to lend support." Reznov said.
Meanwhile
The squad soon arrived at the medical station.
"That was fun." Ahsoka said making Sean chuckle.
"Oh believe me that was just the tip of the iceberg and..." Sean said before an alert came up.
"What?" Ahsoka asked.
"We made it just in time." Sean said just as Grievous and his giant ship came out of hyper space.
Sean looked at the station seeing a few medical ships.
"Medical cruisers. Jump into hyperspace now." Sean said.
"Right away." A clone pilot said before they left.
Grievous saw this and roared in rage.
"Target those bombers." Grievous said.
"Here they come." Sean said as Droid fighters came after them.
However as they were fighting against the droids they noticed the weapon was firing up.
"Uh oh." Ahsoka said.
"Get out the way!" Sean yelled as it fired before the squad moved away from the blast with no casualties.
"Whoa! That was close." Matchstick said.
"Ok I'm not taking another chance. Attack the primary weapon. If that thing hits the medical station everyone on it dies." Sean said.
"Roger that, sir. On you." Matchstick said as they followed him to the primary weapon seeing it powering up again.
"If we cause enough damage we may be able to overload it." Plo said.
"Fire your torpedoes at it." Sean said before he started firing at it along with the others making large explosions.
"FIRE!" Grievous yelled.
When it nearly fired it blew up on both sides.
"Hmph!" Sean said amused before three Republic warships came out of hyperspace before some of Sean's did as well.
"Kruger, Do you copy?" Kenobi asked.
"We're here." Sean said.
"Congratulations. It looks like your plan was a success." Kenobi said.
"Partially. Grievous is still alive but the primary weapons are destroyed. We're heading towards your ship." Sean said.
"Very well." Kenobi said before his fleet began to attack Grievous.
The combined fleet attacked the Malevolence but since it was massive it was difficult to destroy.
"Whats the damage level of the enemy ship?" Kenobi asked.
"Looks like she's lost her primary shields and stabilizers, but since the ship is so massive it can take all this and still function." Agent Ward said.
"We must summon reinforcements." Plo said.
"I already tried that. Luminara was close by but she's dealing with enemy reinforcements at the moment. This is all we have for now. Of course If I got on board I could destroy it with the Power stone after I get the Cube." Sean said.
"We can't risk getting near it right now. We'll wait till it's further damaged." Kenobi said.
"Very well." Sean said as every cruiser they had opened fired at the massive warship.
On said ship Grievous was talking with Dooku.
"It has sustained extensive damage." Grievous said.
"General, I have arranged a trap which will give you an advantage over the Jedi." Dooku said.
"I assure you, that is unnecessary." Grievous said.
"Do no compound your failure this day by allowing our prized warship to fall." Dooku said.
"My lord, they will never capture me or this ship." Grievous said. (Does it look like they want to capture you?)
"Heading towards you is a very important galactic senator. With her as your hostage, they will call off their attack." Dooku said.
Back with the others they continued to attack the massive warship.
"This is gonna take some time. Perhaps it would be best if we sneak on the ship and find the stone and then let the Power stone destroy it from the inside out." Sean said.
"I..." Kenobi tried to say before an alert came up.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"Sir, a Ship has just exited hyperspace." A mandolorian said.
"Enemy reinforcements?" Kenobi asked.
"No...It looks like a...Naboo ship?"
"Tell the gunners to stand down. What in the world would they be doing out here?" Garret asked.
"Contact that ship." Kenobi said very concerned getting Garret to do that.
"Identify yourself." Garret said.
"This is Senator Amidala." Padme said.
"Padme? What in blazes are you doing out here?" Kenobi asked seeing her hologram.
"I was sent...Wait what is he doing there?" Padme asked seeing Sean.
"Our interests align. What are you doing out here?" Sean asked.
"I was sent on a diplomatic mission." Padme said.
"Get the hell out of there." Sean said before her ship stopped.
"I'm caught in a tractor beam. Whatever you do you must continue your attack." Padme said before her transmission ended.
"Cease fire." Sean said getting all ships to end their assault.
"Now what?" Ahsoka asked.
"Now we gotta get on that ship and not only rescue her but find the Cosmic cube. We leave now." Sean said heading to the hanger.
"I agree." Kenobi said.
Soon the three and a group of clones were on Anakin's twilight since it was the only thing they could use to get on the ship.
"What a piece of junk." Sean said.
"It's not that bad." Ahsoka said before a piece of the ceiling came down. "Ok maybe it is." Ahsoka said.
"So whats your plan?" Kenobi asked.
"According to my scans the Malevolence's sensors are down due to the amount of damage it took. That means they won't see us coming. We'll dock with an emergency airlock and get on that ship and find the Senator and the Cosmic Cube and then I use the power stone to destroy the ship from the inside out." Sean said.
"I see. Thats not a bad plan." Kenobi said.
"Lets get moving." Sean said taking control before they flew out.
Arriving at the massive warship they saw all the damage.
"Yikes." Ahsoka said.
"It's just like the Sith to build massive weapons like this." Sean said.
"Is that why you wanted to destroy the force in the beginning? Because of this?" Kenobi asked.
"You can't exactly say my reasons aren't understandable. How much damage have the Sith caused in the past during the days of the Old Republic? How many Sith were once Jedi?" Sean asked.
"Yes...I can't deny that. But destroying the force would have severe consequences." Kenobi said.
"Hence the reason I had change of thought. Now I just need to change the order to one thats more balanced out." Sean said.
"Meaning?" Kenobi asked curious.
"I'll explain later." Sean said as they docked.
"So who goes where?" Kenobi asked.
"You go find the cube. I'm going to find the Senator." Sean said.
"I'm not sure thats a good idea. She and Anakin were very close." Kenobi said concerned.
"Understandable but I need to do this." Sean said as the doors opened up before two droids were seen.
"AH! I KNEW IT ITS THEM!"
"Oh no."
Sean and Kenobi looked at each other before slashing them.
"Lets get this over with." Sean said as they left to find what they came for.
Meanwhile
"A rather bold strategy by our new ally." Luminara said.
"Kruger has proven he thinks his moves in advance before acting. And if this alliance is to work we must have faith in his leadership." Plo said.
"It's not his leadership I doubt. And no I don't hold a grudge against him for killing Skywalker now that we know the truth behind it. But rather that if Grievous gets his hands on the Power stone it will make things more difficult." Luminara said.
"Don't underestimate him. No one alive knows more about those stones than him." Garret said.
"I certainly hope so." Luminara said ending her transmission.
"Have the forward guns ready incase things go south." Garret said.
Meanwhile
Padme and 3PO were in the ship looking for a way off.
"We need to get off this ship." Padme said.
"Pardon me Senator but we do have some different company." 3PO said making her turn before seeing Sean and Ahsoka making her narrow her eyes.
"Senator if you would please." Sean tried to say before she tried to shoot him. "HEY!" Sean yelled dodging her blaster fire before slashing it. "Ok I can clearly tell thats for Skywalker." Sean said annoyed.
"You murdered him in cold blood. Ahsoka, how can you serve him after what he did?" Padme asked.
"Look. I killed Skywalker but I had a good reason after I saw his future." Sean said confusing her.
"What are you talking about? Saw his future?" Padme asked.
"On my world I'm whats known as a Mutant. I have the ability to see into one's past and future. The last one however though only works when someone has a dark future. Like him." Sean said.
"Look Ani did something terrible before the war out of anger but he's not..." Padme tried to say before his eyes glowed before she saw Anakin kill hundreds of Jedi. Even younglings and saw billions of lives suffering because of him.
She gasped when it ended and fell to her knees.
"No...That can't be real." Padme said in denial.
"But it is. Billions would suffer because of him. Including his own fellow Jedi. Something in the future would turn him to Darkness. What that is was unclear. But now that future has been prevented. I did what I had to to save countless lives from that fate." Sean said holding out his hand to her before she took it.
"So why are you willing to work with the Jedi? I thought you were against them." Padme said.
"It's more of the Republic I'm against because of it's corruption if you will. I know there are Good Jedi who do care greatly for the innocents of the Galaxy. They just can't do enough. So I've done some rethinking on my original plans if you will. I can explain later. Right now we need to find the Cosmic cube." Sean said.
"The Space stone. It's here?" Padme asked.
"How do you think they powered this thing?" Ahsoka asked.
"Ok fair point." Padme said before they rushed off with 3PO behind them.
Kenobi was currently fighting against Grievous in the Engine room with his troops pinned down.
Behind him was the Cosmic Cube being used to power the warship and used to power up it's most devastating weapon.
"AHAHAHAHA! You will not get your hands on the Cube Kenobi. It belongs to us!" Grievous yelled before getting blasted away making him yell in pain.
"Need a hand?" Sean asked.
"It would certainly be of use." Kenobi said before Sean blasted the engine before the cube flew to him curtesy of Ahsoka.
"THAT BELONGS TO ME!" Grievous yelled as his body was heavily damaged.
"Your using this for fun in your own twisted cruel way. Fun isn't something one considers when balancing the universe." Sean said before crushing the cube shocking the others before a blue stone was seen in what remained before Sean took it and placed it in the Gauntlet making him glow as he growled before grinning. "But this...Does put a smile on my face." Sean said before powering up the Power Stone before it infected the ship.
"Time to go." Ahsoka said before a blue sphere engulfed them all before they vanished leaving Grievous behind who roared before heading to his ship.
The group appeared back on the Twilight.
"Whoa! What the hell was that?" A clone asked.
"This." Sean said holding up his gauntlet showing the space stone. "Lets get the hell out of here." Sean said as they detached before heading back to the ship.
"Prepare to open fire." Plo said.
"Don't bother wasting energy." Sean said as small explosions occurred all over the massive warship before Grievous got out just as it completely exploded.
This made the men cheer.
"Now that thats out of the way. We can talk about our alliance." Sean said.
Later
The Jedi along with Padme arrived at Earth with a small fleet before they arrived in the chamber that held his mother.
"Who's she?" Mace asked.
"My mother. She's dying from a rare incurable disease. If it wasn't for that she would be the one looking for the stones and not me." Sean said.
"How did she get it?" Kenobi asked.
"It's a Genetic disease if you will. Happens once every 30 generations or so. The only way to cure her is with all six stones." Sean said.
"Thats the main reason you're looking for them?" Fisto asked.
"Yes. I'd rather not but I'm the only one who can wield all six stones since I have the blood of Thanos in my veins. Only I can wield all six now since she's in this position." Sean said.
"What exactly are your plans?" Piel asked.
"I do plan to do things similar to Thanos but unlike in his time I have no interest in doing things at random and having innocents killed. My objective is to wipe out those with blood on their hands for selfish reasons. Slavers, Criminals, Drug dealers and so on. Wipe out entire species that have caused nothing but harm upon the Galaxy. Can you truly say my reasons are unneeded after all the suffering these people have caused?" Sean asked making them look at one another.
"Hmm. A great deal of suffering throughout the ages these people have caused yes. Better the Galaxy would be without and safer yes." Yoda admitted.
"Thats not the only thing I plan to do. Enlarge planets so that they'll have more space for everyone. Create worlds full of vegetation that is endless so that there will actually be unlimited resources in both food and materials the galaxy needs to survive. I plan on fixing every problem." Sean said.
"And us?" Mundi asked.
"My original goals for destroying the force...I've begun to reconsider that one. I am willing to work with the Jedi. But the order itself needs to change as well since its unbalanced." Sean said confusing them all.
"How are we unbalanced exactly?" Mace asked curious.
"You all believe that the light is the perfect balance of the force. Incorrect. Balance requires both light and darkness. Why do you think the Sith keep coming back? One cannot outweigh the other. They must both be equal in both light and darkness." Sean said making them think on that.
They couldn't deny he actually had a good point.
"So you believe the Jedi need to use the light and dark side?" Shaak Ti asked.
"Yes. Think about it. My forces are a mix of light and dark. People who will go to certain lengths to accomplish my goals. And others who will do whatever it takes even using dark tactics. Provided of course Civilians are not harmed since I will not allow that." Sean said.
"Hmm. There is a great truth in what you are saying." Tiin said.
"But the Darkside is not easy to resist." Adi said.
"With proper training and discipline it can be. I can help with that. And the rules of the Order need to change as well. Particularly the no attachment rule since you all have attachments to friends and fellow Jedi and even clones. You just don't want to admit it." Sean said making them see truth in that.
"Perhaps it is indeed time the Code does change." Mace said.
"Yes. So we have a deal? I will help you end this war and in return you will help me find the remaining stones." Sean said.
"Yes. But we will have to bring this to the Senate. Not many will want this alliance." Kenobi said.
"They would be fools to turn down great help. They will agree." Sean said.
"I know most of them will want whatever they can get if it means the war will be won for them." Padme said.
"Indeed." Sean said.
Later
Most of the Senate agreed to the deal since they wanted everything they could get their hands on to win this war. The rest however wanted the stones for themselves.
Currently Palpatine was in his office with Mas.
"You don't seem very concerned about this. He did kill Skywalker and you had plans for him." Mas said.
"Oh I did. But now I have bigger plans for this bloodline of Thanos. Imagine the power of all six infinity stones. Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Time and Mind. With all six stones...Anything is possible. I never once thought the stones would ever surface again. And yet here two stand." Palpatine said.
"In his hands though." Mas said.
"Yes. I will gain his trust and in time...He will see things my way." Palpatine said smirking.
