Chapter 23 Home sweet Home
Sean sighed as he laid back in his chair as Logan flew the X Jet to his home country with a majority of the others.
"Man how cool is this. We get to see the main country that accepts Mutants so easily." Kurt said making Sean chuckle.
"I'll believe that when I see it." Scott said.
"And you wonder why you're still single." Sean said making most of the others laugh.
"Real funny." Scott said.
"Dude chill out. Sparta is the main place that accepts them more than others. Theron was the only one who had a different view for his own selfish reasons." Sean said.
"What was like his problem anyway?" Kitty asked.
"I know. He told me when we went looking for Angel. Theron only saw us as weapons and hated everyone who was different. He and Sean's dad got into a lot of fights because of this." Rogue said holding her stomach.
"Mmhmm." Sean said.
"So what did he even use on you anyway?" Evan asked.
"Oh it was an abandoned project to get certain prisoners to give up information freely depending on their crimes. My dad however felt that it could have some negative consequences. And he was right." Sean said.
"What kind of consequences?" Kurt asked.
"Brain damage depending on how long it was put on. I only had it on for a few minutes and my healing powers stopped that from happening. Thats why it was shut down but Theron didn't care and tried to continue it but the others shut it down despite his protests." Sean said.
"Why wasn't he ever thrown in jail?" Jean asked.
"You'll find people in high positions are more difficult to put away. At best you can limit their power and influence until they commit a more serious crime like the one he did against me." Sean said.
"Oh I guess that makes sense." Jean said.
After a couple more hours they finally arrived at a military base before landing.
"Are we allowed to land here?" Scott asked.
"Relax. They know who we are." Logan said.
Soon everyone got off the X jet before heading to garage seeing several cars ready for them.
"Always prepared." Sean said as they got in before driving off.
Soon they arrived in Sparta city.
"Wow." Kitty said admiring the buildings before seeing a few statues of Greek Gods.
"Home sweet home." Sean said smiling before they arrived at a hotel.
"And a five star Hotel?" Kurt asked.
"Actually not so much." Charles said as they went in before they all got into a large Elevator.
"Uh not to say I'm cramped but why are we all in here?" Korra asked making Sean smirk as they went down.
"You are about to find out." Sean said.
Soon they came to a stop before it opened up showing to the students surprise minus Sean and those from other countries minus Kurt other Mutants who had thier own unique appearances talking with either regular people or other Mutants.
"Whoa." Scott said.
"Welcome to the institute for Mutants of Sparta." Sean said as they walked in.
"Theres an institute here?" Jean asked.
"Of course. Theres one in almost Every country thanks to Tom and the friends he had. The larger ones are either here or in London or Russia. But most come here since it's more open in Greece." Charles said.
Sean smiled as he walked to a bar before getting a drink.
"I was wondering when you'd finally come back."
"Hmm?" Sean said turning seeing a woman his age with long white hair white skin and Red eyes grinning at him.
"Hello Moka." Sean said seeing one of the strongest Mutants here who could give Logan a run for his money and got stronger by sucking on someone's blood like a vampire. (List in the last chapter)
"So what made you decide to finally come home after all these years?" Moka asked sitting next to him.
"Ah. I was feeling home sick. How bout you? How you been?" Sean asked making her grin.
"I've been good. Kinda boring without you and Revy around." Moka said making him smirk before spotting Dutch and Benny talking to Revy and the others.
"Have you heard about what the higher ups are gonna do with Theron?" Sean asked making her frown.
"Oh yeah I heard. They're giving him the old hangman's noose." Moka said.
"Thats it?" Sean asked.
"We could use more brutal methods but the higher ups don't want people in the states getting suspicious as to why he got something a little extreme." Moka said.
"Fair enough. So how are the others?" Sean asked.
"Doing ok. Most of them will be anxious to see you after so long." Moka said.
"I'll bet. Might as well go see the new upgrades this place has." Sean said walking off with her.
Soon the X men came to the Danger room here seeing it ten times as large as the one back home and more advanced.
"Whoa. Look at this place." Rogue said amazed.
"You'll be surprised by how far we've come."
Sean turned seeing a girl with white skin long orange hair and eyes grinning at him.
"Hello Matsu." Sean said making her grin.
"Another Mutant?" Scott asked.
"One with enormous scientific potential. She's the reason all this is possible. Anything involving Technology or computers she can do anything to make it better." Sean said.
Sean and the others were exploring around the area while Charles was meeting with the higher ups regarding new Mutant Activity.
Right now Sean was showing the girls to his room which was very spacious.
"Nice pad." Tabitha said jumping on the large bed.
Before they could say anything else however Sean left.
"Hey." Jean said stopping him. "Where you going?" Jean asked.
"Where do you think?" Sean asked leaving.
"Oh I forgot." Jean said.
"What? Wheres he going?" Tabitha asked.
"His old home. Hasn't been there in years since someone killed his parents." Jean said.
"Oh." Tabitha said.
Later
Sean soon arrived at his old home seeing it the same as when he left 4 years ago when the Mutant who took his parents away from him.
"Been 4 long years." Sean said to himself as he walked inside moving around the rubble.
Arriving in the old family living room he saw everything as it was that day before looking at an old family photo making him smile as he held it in his hands.
Walking upstairs next he soon found his old room before seeing some movie posters on the walls.
Scoffing in amusement he remembered something.
Flashback 5 years ago
Sean was in his room reading some book when his father walked in.
"Can't you seriously have something more Greek in here?" Tom asked making him scoff in amusement.
"Yeah sure. Tell me when they make an actual good movie and I'll put it right in." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Clash of the Titans counts." Tom said.
"That is an American Movie not Greek." Sean said.
"Greek Story though." Tom said leaving.
"Oy. You are so old fashioned." Sean said.
"I heard that." Tom said making him chuckle.
End Flashback
Sean sighed as he sat on his bed making it creek before it fell making him cough up some dust.
"Well...Shit." Sean said annoyed.
"Figured I'd find you here." Logan said walking in.
"Ah. I knew when we got here I'd had to come here and face what happened. Place looks exactly the same as I remember on that day." Sean said.
"I'll bet. Story is no one has been in here since they got the bodies." Logan said.
"Clearly." Sean said standing up.
Later
After visiting his old home everyone was in the larger Danger Room going through a more advanced training session with one of the more experienced trainers known as Motoko Kusanagi. She had white skin purple hair and red eyes.
Sean and Alex were running from explosions before taking cover.
"Like the old days huh?" Alex asked.
"Yup." Sean said as they ran off to avoid more explosions.
Above them watching from a viewing screen was Charles and the others.
"Man I can't believe all this." Rogue said.
"You mean the fact that all of this is bigger and more advanced or the training in general?" Jean asked.
"Both. I know Sean said they had everything but I thought he was exaggerating a little." Rogue said making Charles chuckle.
"You'll find the government here spares no expense." Charles said.
Sean met up with Scott and Reznov.
"This thing is gonna tear us to pieces." Scott said before it got even closer.
"Ok I've had enough. Alex how's your throwing arm?" Sean asked.
"Hold it thats not the point of all this." Motoko said.
"I say it is. Throw me." Sean said making Alex do so.
"Sean wait!" Motoko yelled as Sean roared charging at the thing before slicing could be heard before a robot head was thrown at them before Sean appeared behind it.
"Game over." Sean said as the simulation ended.
"Nice work." Alex said as they left.
"What the hell was that?" Motoko asked.
"Advanced Danger room." Sean said.
"You know what I meant." Motoko said.
"Oh lighten up Motoko. I came here to visit not go through something I've done a hundred times before." Sean said before her arm turned into some advanced laser and aimed at him making him sigh. "It's amazing you have a Mutant ability that actually makes you a living weapon." Sean said as she stood down.
"I don't see you in four years and you act like an ass." Motoko said making him smirk.
"Is this your way of saying you missed me?" Sean asked making her grin at him. "You know why I left. I couldn't stand being here after what happened." Sean said.
"I know. So how long you staying for?" Motoko asked.
"Oh...About a week or so but I plan to move back after graduation or until Mutants become known in the States. You know how it is." Sean said.
"True enough." Motoko said as he left.
Later
"I'm really starting to like this place. Mutants are more accepted here and a lot of other things. No wonder you love it here." Rogue said to Sean as they and Jean were outside a restaurant.
"Yeah. It's home." Sean said smiling.
"Are you wanting the babies born here?" Jean asked.
"Is there a reason I shouldn't?" Sean asked making her smile. "Add to the fact Rogue's condition would make is somewhat difficult for her to deliver anywhere but here." Sean said.
"True." Rogue said holding her growing stomach.
"Besides soon enough the States are going to find out about Mutants and then things are going to get difficult." Sean said.
"You always do think on these things."
Sean turned seeing a woman with long red hair blue eyes and white skin grinning at him.
"Hello Rias." Sean said as she sat down with them.
"Who's she?" Jean asked.
"Her name is Rias Gremory. She's a powerful mutant with destructive abilities." Sean said as a red ball of energy appeared in her hand. "Not to mention she's from one of the more royal families around here." Sean said.
"Royal families?" Rogue asked making Rias Giggle.
"Greece has a few who are still around. Since the country doesn't have kings and queens any more we're more of the rich family types now but still have some pull." Rias said.
"Oh I get it." Jean said.
"Isn't your family one of them?" Rogue asked Sean.
"Kinda. Our entire family has always been military. Long line of Military leaders since the days of Kings and queens. Always had the largest pull when it came to military matters. My Grandfather was one of the only few who retired early on since he had seen his fair share of war and just wanted a more simple life." Sean said.
"Is that where most of your family's money comes from?" Jean asked.
"Mostly. So how are the others like Akeno and Xenovia?" Sean asked making her grin.
"Akeno is her old self as usual. Xenovia is waiting for you." Rias said.
"Oh boy." Sean said making Jean and Rogue giggle.
"Let me guess. Major crush?" Rogue asked.
"That and she wants kids early on so they can't call her old. Not that it would matter with my immortal transfer." Sean said making her grin remembering the mark she got when they were in New York.
"Oh yeah? Whats stopping you?" Jean teased.
"You two are already pregnant with Rogue's the only one of you two that planned it. Last thing I need is another right now when Erik is still against us. He would use that against me and I can't risk him learning about a third." Sean said.
"Oh I get it. But do you really think he would plan that?" Jean asked.
"Clearly you don't know him like the rest of us."
Sean turned seeing a woman in a revealing outfit with white skin very long brown hair and light brown eyes.
"Hello Mai." Sean said.
"Who's she?" Rogue asked.
"Mai Shiranui. She's a Mutant with advanced hand to hand combat abilities." Sean said.
"Believe me when I tell you we all know what Magneto is capable of doing. He's tried on more occasions than you could realize to recruit everyone here to his cause and other countries." Mai said.
"But he always failed because everyone doesn't share that view."
"Oh hell." Sean said seeing a girl with white skin black hair and purple eyes. "Hello Juri." Sean said as she jumped on his lap.
"Now is that anyway to say hello to me love?" Juri asked tracing her fingers on his face making him roll his eyes in amusement.
"Another one?" Rogue asked.
"One who has a lust for fighting. She has abilities similar to Mai but has more destructive abilities when her fists and feet connect to someone hard." Sean said.
"Even though I love fighting I dislike him since he's a dick. Do anything to get what he wants." Juri said.
Later
Sean was back in the compound below the hotel watching the others fight in the danger room.
"I assume you're glad you came back after all these years?" Charles asked rolling to him.
"Yeah and seeing old friends again. Tempted to stay but I know where I belong." Sean said.
"Indeed. Though I imagine many of them will come back with us." Charles said.
"Yeah. So...I assume you also got some new technology here for back home and some new instructors?" Sean asked making him grin.
"Indeed. Not only to help our danger room but also teach the new students some new skills." Charles said.
"I figured as much." Sean said.
"And I also asked around if they had any success finding your target. Sadly no new information has come up." Charles said.
"I get the feeling he will soon enough." Sean said.
Days later
After a nice relaxing vacation everyone was back on the X jet heading back home.
Also with them were Rias, Akeno, Juri, Mai, Motoko and Moka.
"This is gonna be fun." Juri said grinning.
"Just please don't do anything stupid." Sean said making her smile as they took off and headed back to the states.
Authors Note: And with that Sean's trip back home has come to an end and confronted his past. Now Next Chapter I got something special planned out.
