Chapter 83 The Terror Within
Its been a couple weeks since Diana gave birth to twins with the first being Sean's the second being Korra's.
And since Lin and Suyin finally made up after trashing the City.
That one alone made people afraid of both of them. (You know I kinda wish that happened in the show since it would have proven the Family is terrifying when royally pissed off.)
And since Sean learned the Blade of Death was missing.
He suspected Grendel took it but no solid evidence.
Right now.
Diana smiled as she was breast feeding Donna as Kyoshi slept in her crib.
Sean was leaning against a wall smirking.
"Motherhood suits you." Sean said making her giggle.
"Yeah. I may not have been expecting twins but I don't mind." Diana said as Donna finished before yawning making her smile putting her next to her sister who snored.
Soon enough Sean was outside seeing everyone was enjoying themselves.
"I can't help but feel a little worried things are only going to get worse. CADMUS is gone but Grendel is still out there and now someone has the one thing that can kill you for good." Korra said.
"We'll find out whats going on in that subject soon enough. For now lets just relax." Sean said before an explosion went off shocking them as they rushed off.
Arriving at Varrick's quarters they found him covered in soot.
"That...Didn't go right." Varrick said.
"What...Have you done?" Suyin asked in shock seeing part of her home destroyed.
"I was mixing some explosive powders together trying to make a big bomb to sell to the highest bidder...Which unfortunately blew up in my face and destroyed my room...I'm gonna need another one." Varrick said expecting it making her glare.
"I got something better...GET OUT!" Suyin roared shocking him.
"Finally. Now she sees reason." Sean said making Korra giggle.
"OUT? Where am I supposed to live? I got nothing left!" Varrick yelled.
"PUT IT IN THE I DON'T FUCKING CARE PILE! GET OUT OUT BEFORE YOU DESTROY WHATS LEFT OF MY HOME!" Suyin roared.
"I'm thinking she's definitely pregnant." Korra said as Varrick bolted making her sigh before he held her close.
"Easy Suyin." Sean said making her smile.
"Sorry. But I draw the line at blowing up my house. Wherever he goes now is not my problem. And not my baby's." Suyin said grinning.
"I figured as much." Korra said amused.
"Never too old to be a loving mother." Suyin said.
Later
Sean was in his room about to head to bed while Korra was with Diana.
"Oh brother. I need a serious vacation before I take office." Sean said.
"How bout two more kids before that."
Sean looked seeing Ikki and Jinora in the nude grinning at him.
"Oh brother. I knew this was coming sooner or later." Sean said making them grin.
"It's time for us to have our own babies. And this time nothing is going to stop us." Ikki said.
"And like I said I like planning things so I'm ready for one." Jinora said making him scoff.
Removing his clothes they pushed him down on the bed before Jinora kissed him.
Thats when she sat on his face making him smirk as he licked her sex making her moan loudly before bending down to her prize making her grin as she and Ikki pressed their breasts together on him.

Ikki groaned as her ass turned bright red from the double teamed spanking.
This went on for another hour before Jinora groaned as she came in her sister's mouth who also came as Sean erupted in her womb making her tear up lightly as she held her stomach.

Later
Sean was in bed with Jinora and Ikki in his arms after having a long few hours of fun.
As Sean slept however his eyes widened as sensed someone making him narrow his eyes getting out of their grasp as he got his gear on.
Outside Zaheer and his group arrived.
"We take the Avatar and we end this." Zaheer said.
"Will you now?" Beowulf asked shocking them. "So...Your Zaheer. Not really impressed...But I'll enjoy taking your head and adding it to my collection. It's honestly no different than when man kills an animal and does the same thing." Beowulf said.
"Who are you?" Zaheer asked as he took his mask off. "You." Zaheer said.
"I'm not some defenseless child who can barely control my abilities anymore old man. And I'm not gonna have history repeat itself. You caused enough trouble in every other universe where you were involved." Sean said.
"What are you talking about?" Zaheer asked before images of his counterparts were revealed shocking them.
"What the hell is this?" Ghazan asked.
"That is all of you throughout the Multiverse of known universes in this alliance. In each one you caused nothing but harm. The God Slayer universe was the worst. You almost destroyed the world down to the core. And you didn't even care. If anything it excited you." Sean said shocking them.
"I assure you our goals are not destruction nor chaos." Zaheer said.
"I don't care. I'm not taking chances of you causing trouble. After all your goals in one only caused suffering and death. Not this time." Sean said.
Thats when he got hit with Heat vision making him yell in shock as he fell over.
"What the?" Beowulf asked before looking up seeing Superman. "Kal? What the hell was that for?" Beowulf asked before he started attacking him making him dodge each strike.
"Oh what the hell is going on?" Deadshot asked before someone punched him back making him look seeing Flash.
"Ok what the hell is going on?" Motoko asked as Lantern showed up and used his ring on them.
Beowulf growled as his scarab armor appeared before blasting him back and had his head come right off.
Only when it did his whole body turned to goo.
"Huh?" Beowulf asked in surprise before seeing the Flash running at him before doing the same thing getting the same results.
"What the hell?" Anakin asked before seeing Zaheer and his team were gone.
"That was...unexpected." Kenobi said.
"What the hell just happened?" Regina asked making him frown.
Later
"Whatever this goo is has the DNA of Superman and Flash. But they're flawed. They don't have emotions or any free will. They just follow mindless programing." Sean said having studied it.
"So who sent it though?" Deadshot asked.
"I got a better question. How did Zaheer and his group get in the place when the domes were shut?" Motoko asked.
"In our universe they got in using fake IDs to get past security during a celebration of when this place was founded." Anakin said.
"But I doubt they did that here." Kenobi said.
"Was there any place Varrick went to?" Sean asked Suyin making her frown.
Soon they arrived outside his shop seeing a hole in the ground.
"Looks like Zaheer came in through here. I think I can see what he was planning. He was gonna steal from Suyin priceless artifacts." Sean said.
"He's just as bad as the Mutant version." Anakin said.
"What exactly happened there?" Motoko asked.
"He wanted to sell Mutants as living weapons to the highest bidders thinking it would make him more rich. Sadly it ended up being his downfall." Kenobi said.
"We need to find Varrick." Deadshot said.
"For what? The guy is long gone by now." Atomic Skull said.
"Who's gone?" Varrick asked walking in. "Hey my mine. I almost forgot about that." Varrick said.
"Mine?" Kenobi asked.
"Sure. Theres a lot of rare metals there. I was gonna sell it to get back some of my fortune back...What?" Varrick asked seeing the looks on them.
"Hold that thought." Motoko said jumping down.
"Well?" Eda asked.
"This doesn't go that deep or far. This isn't how they got in." Motoko said.
Sean glared at Varrick.
"What? What I do now. I had to beg on my knees to let Suyin let me stay...Provided I do my experiments outside her home now." Varrick said not happy about that.
Only to scream as his wrist blade was at his neck.
"Did you help Zaheer and his group get inside or have anything to do with those replicas of the League?" Sean asked.
"I don't even know who that even is! I told you after CADMUS I wanted nothing to do with stuff like that." Varrick said.
"You expect me to believe you after you killed hundreds with that Volcano of yours." Sean said not believing him for a second.
"Ok I admit I went way over the line on that one since everyone every day calls me a murderer. But I swear I..." Varrick tried to say.
"Lets just round everyone for questioning. That Aiwei guy is a truth seer right? So he should be able to clear up who's a traitor." Anakin said.
"Fair enough." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"What do you mean you got attacked by some replicas of the League?" Grendel asked confused.
"I mean the League as you call them attacked us. Or at least they looked like them." Zaheer said.
"Right before they turned to goo when their heads came off." Ghazan said.
"That didn't happen in the original timeline. History is being altered to events that are beyond my knowledge." Grendel said.
"So you have no idea who's behind this?" Grodd asked.
"Not even a little...Although...There might be one person who has the skills to pull this off. I knew she was unstable back then but she never did anything significant during the original time line...With the alterations to time it may have given her a boost in confidence to go through with plans she had. Out of necessity...Or hatred." Grendel said.
"Who?" Malgus asked.
Meanwhile
Sean and the others were interrogating the guards to see if any of them had anything to do with what happened last night.
So far no one was found Guilty due to Aiwei's truth seeking abilities.
Then they cam to Varrick.
"What was I doing last night?" Varrick asked. "I had to sleep outside the city for the night since someone convinced her I was bad for business." Varrick said frowning at Sean who almost shot him making him scream in shock.
"Did you or did you not sell out our location for money. You tried to dissect me during the civil war for money." Sean said glaring at him.
"Look I learned my lesson in all that nonsense." Varrick said.
"Yeah thats a lie but clearly he had nothing to do with what happened." Aiwei said as he and Zhu-Li left.
"Man this is getting us nowhere." Sean said as the next guard arrived. He was at least a year younger than Korra was.
"Give me your name and tell me where you are from." Aiwei said.
"I'm Hong Li. I was born and raised here in Zaofu." Li said.
"Do you have any knowledge of the people who attempted to kidnap Kruger's wife?" Aiwei said.
"No." Li said making him frown leaning forward.
"Did you help the attackers enter Zaofu last night?" Aiwei asked.
"No, of course not." Li said making him narrow his eyes.
"You're lying." Aiwei said shocking him.
"What? No, I'm not!" Li yelled before Suyin slammed her hands down.
"How did they get in and out! I want answers!" Suyin yelled.
"I don't know! I'm telling you, I didn't help them." Li said.
"You're a traitor to the entire clan." Suyin said before Sean knocked him out.
"I suggest we search his place." Aiwei said.
When they arrived they searched the place while Bolin was in the kitchen.
"I got something." Mako said finding a note.
"What?" Bolin asked with cookies in his mouth.
"It looks like it's from them. Team Assembled. Ready to rendezvous." Mako said.
"And look at this." Asami said with a book in hand before Aiwei read it.
"These are the Guards log books. All their schedules and routes are in here." Aiwei said.
"That guard knows everything. We have to get him to talk." Korra said.
"I can do that." Anakin said.
"No. Let's give him time to sweat it out." Aiwei said leaving.
Later
"Does something about this seem...Strange?" Anakin asked.
"Very." Kenobi said.
"I don't understand why we're not talking to the guard right now. Every minute we waste here, those guys get further away. I mean, how does a random guard get involved with a group of super criminals, anyway?" Mako asked.
"Meaning?" Sean said.
"That guard is only 18 years old, and has lived in Zaofu his entire life. Zaheer and his gang have been in prison for 17 years." Mako said.
"Well...He could be part of a larger group and Zaheer and his group were the leaders. Maybe he was recruited some time ago." Kenobi said.
"We all saw the evidence. It's pretty overwhelming." Korra said holding Sean close before Varrick appeared.
"Maybe a little too overwhelming." Varrick said.
"What do you want now?" Sean asked annoyed.
"Collecting pumice stones with Zhu-Li. That battle last night did a lot of damage. But it made some nice exfoliating rocks. And when you got calluses like mine, You take all the pumice stones you can get your hands on. Or in my case...Feet!" Varrick said as Zhu-li rubbed them on his feet.
This made the group groan in disgust.
"You are a waste of flesh." Sean said with his eyes twitching.
"What were you saying about the evidence?" Anakin asked changing the subject.
"I was saying that I can smell a conspiracy when I see one. Look, if I was trying to set someone up, I would tell everyone he's guilty, and then plant the evidence in his apartment as proof." Varrick said.
"Oh. You mean like you did to Mako?" Asami asked glaring at him.
"Yes! Just like that. Remember how great that worked?" Varrick asked.
"You know." Sean said gaining their attention. "As much as I wanna gag on this Varrick may have a point. The evidence is overwhelming. But Aiwei is the only truth seeker we know in this city." Sean said.
"What are you saying?" Korra asked.
"What if he's the one who let Zaheer and his group in and used this kid as a fall guy?" Sean asked.
"You think he set him up?" Asami asked.
"No solid evidence but it would make it harder to believe someone who can tell who's lying and not and not question him." Sean said.
"I can answer that one for ya." God Slayer Sean said walking to them.
"What are you doing here?" Kenobi asked.
"The second I heard Zaheer was set free I had to come here. Seems you guys had a run in with him last night like I did." God Slayer Sean said.
"So is Aiwei the traitor?" Korra asked.
"Oh yeah. He works with Zaheer in an organization called the Red Lotus. A former member of the White Lotus splintered off to make his own group that was to bring Chaos to everywhere and everything. And they wanted me to unleash all the power I had inside me at the time to do just that. And nearly succeeded. Though I don't know the plans for the ones in this universe." God Slayer Sean said.
"When I mentioned your's he said that wasn't his intention. He could have been truthful. If that is the case what are they up to?" Sean asked.
"Ask Aiwei and find out." Anakin said.
Later
Aiwei grunted as he was against a wall.
"What is the meaning of this?" Aiwei asked.
"Cut the garbage. We know you let Zaheer in the place. That kid was just to throw us off." Motoko said making him frown.
"And your proof is?" Aiwei asked as God Slayer Sean walked in making him gasp.
"You did the same bullshit back in my universe and I have ways of making you talk." God Slayer Sean said.
"All right! Yes...I helped Zaheer get inside. But I swear Our intentions are not sinister." Aiwei said.
"What are your intentions. Are you part of the Red Lotus?" God Slayer Sean asked.
"That is our group name. Our intentions are to end corrupt leadership. By removing them the same way you removed the Earth Queen not long ago." Aiwei said.
"And then what? Take over yourselves?" Roberta asked.
"No. We wish for the world to be led by the Avatar since with all the past lives she's lived she could call upon them for guidance." Aiwei said.
"Oh I get it now. You guys are basically like the Mutant Universe group the Vanguard." Anakin said.
"And what happened to them?" Deadshot asked.
"Dead. Magneto led them to their deaths." Kenobi said.
"We only want a better future for this world." Aiwei said.
"Well, I don't want to lead anyone. Besides I've spoken with my past lives and none of them even considered leading the world." Korra said.
"And yet you must. How many corrupt leaders have you dealt with in this world. How many more have always led the world to countless wars that had no true meaning?" Aiwei said making her frown looking away. "I rest my case." Aiwei said.
"Those days are fast approaching to an end." Sean said knocking him out.
Later
Korra picked her daughter up who cooed at her.
"Whats the matter?" Diana asked.
"I don't know...Do you think if we tried the Avatars could have led this would better?" Korra asked.
"You're asking this because of Aiwei aren't you?" Diana asked making her nod. "I think...The world needs to decide what it wants and not some group of people who in other universes caused nothing but pain." Diana said.
"I know. But at the same time I can't help but feel maybe they're right. I mean...If Roku was in charge of the world during his time...The Hundred year war never would have happened." Korra said.
"And then Aang wouldn't have been born the Avatar got Frozen and met Katara and later end the war and made Republic City." Diana said making her blink. "Even though what happened was horrible it also led to something good later on. Sometimes bad things need to happen for something good to happen." Diana said making her smile kissing her making her smile as she took Kyoshi who yawned making them giggle.
Thats when Sean walked in.
"We have a serious problem." Sean said.
Later
Korra looked at the image of Ba Sing Se seeing the whole place was burned to the ground.
"What the hell happened?" Lantern asked.
"Those replicas did this. The entire city was destroyed. There were no survivors." Sean said.
"Our family?" Mako asked.
"Fortunately it looks like they left days after we left so they're still alive." Sean said making Bolin sigh in relief.
"Who the hell is doing this and why? Is this Hayley's end game?" Eda asked.
"No. This has nothing to do with Hayley or CADMUS. It has to do with Luthor." Sean said.
"Lex is dead though. His skull is right next to Joker's." Korra said.
"I'm not talking about Lex." Sean said confusing them.
"What are you talking about?" Superman asked.
"Lena Luthor. This Goo...Was something she made to mimic people years ago. But it got turned down since people were afraid it might be misused. As your now just seeing. She's using it to wipe out world leaders in both our universe and this one." Sean said.
"Why?" Flash asked.
"Lena has always said free will was always a curse since it makes people make the wrong choices. She came to me at one point saying we need to take that free will away. I flat out refused her and she went into Rant. Never saw her again." Sean said.
"So why is she making these clones? Trying to make the League into villains?" Anakin asked.
"No. Someone that intelligent wouldn't waste her time. I think she plans to replace them with her version to control people her way. And anyone who doesn't follow her vision will pay the price." Kenobi said.
"That sounds like her." Sean said.
"We need to alert the others about this. If she came here she'll most likely try in the other universes as well." Kenobi said.
"Oh come on. Theres no way she could make Titans in her own image." Anakin said.
"And yet she made the League in her own image. If she can do that we can't take chances." Kenobi said.
"I'm afraid he's right." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"I should have known sending in just two wouldn't be enough to stop him." Lena said as she observed the whole thing.
Ever since her brother was killed she had been plotting to take control of the multiverse to remake each universe in her image.
Taking away everyones free will and make them do what she wanted and what she wanted alone.
Of course she knew she had to remove the obstacles that stood in her way.
"I guess I'm gonna have to postpone my plans till all of them are officially ready." Lena said as she looked at a box in the corner. "And that will help me if all this somehow unlikely fails." Lena said.
