Hey everyone, hope you enjoyed last chapter and are looking forward to this one. We have Poof's birth and the reveal of some secrets.
Sorry, I have been away, but anyone that followed me for a while knows that is true that I take a while between anything, Saga of a Phantom duology not withstanding . Been working on some other things that need to get posted soon.
Enjoy.

"I wish that Cosmo and Wanda would have a baby." That would be the wish that changed his life forever, which is how they ended up in the current situation: with the fairy family at the fairy hospital, Wanda having gone into labor, and seemingly no one knew how to deliver a fairy baby.

"This is the worst moment of my life," Wanda screamed in pain.

"Don't worry, Wanda, Everything is looking fantastic," Dr. Studwell said, "On me." He fingergunned the mirror he was looking in, then floated over. "You on the other hand, sound like you are in a lot of pain."

"What gave that away?" Wanda said in-between gasps of pain.

"Can't you do something about this, Dr. Studwell?" Cosmo asked, hoping that the Doctor was going to deliver their child.

"I have just the thing," Studwell poofed some earmuffs onto himself, Cosmo, and Timmy.

"Well, that is a bit better," Not the solution Cosmo was looking for.

"Get it out," Wanda poofed the earmuffs away, "GET IT OUT!"

"Fear not, Wanda. Dr. Rip Studwell is on the case," he put on some medical gloves. "Now, does anyone here know how to deliver a fairy baby?"

"You mean, you don't know how?" Timmy asked flabbergasted.

"Timmy, a fairy baby hasn't been born in thousands of years. Nobody knows how anymore." Studwell explained.

Jorgen burst into the room, "That is not Dr. Studwell, It is actually…" Jorgen grabbed the top of the other fairy's hair, and pulled up, revealing the ruse. "Anti-Cosmo, as I thought." Timmy and Cosmo were shocked, Wanda was barely paying attention.

"Oh poo," Anti-Cosmo said, his plan foiled.

"Good thing I was here to stop you from kidnapping the baby once it was born," Jorgen said.

"Oh really, Jorgen? Or should I say, Pixies in a Jorgen suit?" Anti-Cosmo did the same thing to them as they did to him. Pulling the top of the disguise off to reveal HP and Sanderson.

"Darn, I thought the Jorgen suit would work this time," HP remarked.

"Well it did get us into that club in Rio," Sanderson said.

"I wish for the real Dr. Rip Studwell, and Jorgen to be here," It was all up to Cosmo to see it through. Cosmo raised his wand and it glowed bright.

With a poof, the real Dr. Studwell, Jorgen, and unfortunately Momma Cosma showed up. That last one was unplanned as Cosmo did not intend to bring her as well.

"Thanks for getting me out of that closet, Timmy," Dr. Studwell took stock of the situation, washed his hands, and put medical gloves on. Jorgen eyed the Anti-Fairy and Pixies in the room with scorn.

"Mama, why are you here?" Cosmo asked.

"I brought her, against my will," Jorgen said.

Once he was ready, Dr. Studwell floated over to the hospital bed. "Right, on the off chance that someone knows this, does anyone know how to deliver a fairy baby?" Dr. Studwell said.

"You mean you actually don't know how? I thought that was just Anti-Cosmo pretending to be you that didn't know how," Timmy said, incredulous that the real Dr. Studwell didn't know.

"Despite being a fairy doctor, and having all the training to be one, the one thing I was never trained on was how to deliver a fairy baby. After your godfather was born, all fairies were barred from having children." Studwell flicked his head toward Cosmo as he said it. "It has been thousands, nearly 30 millennia ago. I don't know how to do it, in fact nobody does."

"There is one who does," Wanda said, and all heads turned to her for explanation. Wanda, though in immense pain, turned her head to her husband. "Cosmo, please do something. I don't care about keeping the secret right now, help me."

Cosmo nodded, any and all silliness gone from his face. He knew what he had to do, despite the potential consequences of their secret becoming known. He let go of his wife's hand, rolled up his sleeves, washed his hands, put medical gloves on, and floated over to the birthing end. Everyone else looked at the green haired fairy with surprise, confusion, and concern. "Timmy, be your mother's moral support through this. I want you to grab her hands tightly, don't let go, and give her verbal support through this."

"Okay Cosmo, but she isn't-" Timmy started to say before getting cut off.

"Just do as I say, and don't pay attention to my word choice," Cosmo slightly snapped at Timmy, showing that he was all serious. It was odd for everyone to see Cosmo act like this.

"Wanda, dear, listen to me. When I tell you to push, do so, okay?" Wanda whimpered in agreement.

"Everyone else, except for Dr. Studwell, get out of the room. That includes you too, Mama," Cosmo ordered.

"Cosmo, no offense, but you are an idiot. What could you possibly know about delivering a fairy baby?" Studwell asked the green haired fairy.

"I have experience, and let us leave it at that for now. There will be time for explanations later," Cosmo said. Everyone else decided that at the moment, it was a better idea to just listen to Cosmo and not question it at this time.

Couple hours later

"One more push, Wanda. Alright, push," Cosmo told Wanda. Despite her crying in pain, it was Timmy's support and holding her hands tight that got her through it.

"You got this, Wanda," Timmy said. With a final push, Cosmo had successfully helped his wife deliver their baby into this world. Dr. Rip Studwell took the child and wrapped a purple cloth around the newborn. He raised his wand and cleaned the infant off. After Cosmo cleaned his hands and arms off, Studwell placed the baby back into his arms. Cosmo floated over next to Wanda. When Wanda had regained some control of herself as the pain was starting to subside, thanks to the fact that fairies heal quickly, Cosmo then handed their new child to her to hold. Dr. Studwell then went and got everyone that had been sent away earlier.

"It's a boy," Cosmo placed the bundle of joy in Wanda's arms, proud of himself for his actions the past few hours. He slumped into the chair that was next to Wanda's hospital bed, almost as exhausted as Wanda was. After sitting for a moment, Cosmo sat on the edge of the bed facing his family.

"He is beautiful, Cosmo. Just like his older brother was when he was born." Wanda may have been slightly loopy, but she was also fully aware of what she just said, as she quickly glanced over at Timmy.

Cosmo also briefly glanced at Timmy, "Yes, just like his older brother."

"What do you mean by that?" Jorgen's booming, but respectfully soft voice rang out asking the question that everyone was thinking. The Cosma family had forgotten that anyone else had entered back into the room.

Cosmo sighed, taking a seat back in the chair. "It is said that this is the first fairy baby born in thousands of years. That isn't exactly correct. There was one other fairy baby born, to us." There were several gasps of shock, "twelve years ago, in a cottage on the quiet, northern side of Fairy World. He is in this room, right now." All heads turned to the only other child in the room, Timmy Turner.

"What? I can't be a fairy, could I? I have human parents. I mean, there are times that I think of Cosmo and Wanda as being my parents, over my real ones, or had them fill in, but this doesn't make any sense." Timmy began to ramble as his world turned upside down at this information. Cosmo poofed Timmy over to him and held him in his lap, having turned into his more human looking disguise to make it more comfortable for Timmy, then looked at the rest of the people in the room.

"To keep it secret, to keep him safe, we did not tell a single soul. In fact, we wiped our memories. It was out of fear that he would be taken from us," Cosmo explained.

"That would also explain why you knew how to deliver a fairy baby," Dr. Studwell remarked.

"Yeah, I made Cosmo learn how humans delivered their children, cause I knew we couldn't come here for it." Wanda explained as she propped herself up a bit, with the infant in one arm as she did so.

"Wait a minute, hold the phone." Cosmo's lip twitched at the voice of his Anti-fairy counterpart. "If Timothy is your son, then where is the Anti-Timmy?" It was a fair question.

Wanda answered, "Either that is a question for Anti-Me or it's a case of the fact that we turned him human as quick we did that caused a disruption in the process. Speaking of which, the Anti-Fairy of this little one," she gestured to the still unnamed infant in her arms, "will be along in some amount of time."

"Oh yeah, what are we naming him?" Timmy asked, realizing that they had yet to do so.

"Poof," the baby said.

"That settles it for me," Timmy said. Cosmo and Wanda looked at each other, it was a better idea than any they had.

"I think Timmy just made the decision for us, Poof," Wanda agreed. Cosmo nodded his approval.

"Very well, little baby Poof Cosma, it is then." Dr Studwell filled out the birth certificate and both parents signed the paperwork.

"Now, do you mind filling us in on how your godchild is your son?" Jorgen asked.

"First, Mama, I will explain this to you at a later date. As no doubt, Big Daddy and Blonda need to be informed as well." Cosmo told his mother to leave. Wanda's eyes widened a bit in realization. Her father and sister were going to be issues. For one, she never invited them to the Baby Shower, second, she had to explain that she not only had one son, but two with Cosmo. Well, Blonda may be easier to handle than their father, considering they once swapped places.

"No, you tell me here and now," Mama Cosma demanded.

For perhaps the first time in his immortal life, Cosmo looked his mother dead in the eye and told her to leave. "I will not say it again, Mama. Leave now and we will discuss everything privately as a family." Cosmo's eyes flicked over to Jorgen. "Jorgen, if you could remove her…" Jorgen's wand lit up and sent Mama Cosma away, and erecting an invisible 'keep away' barrier around the hospital. "Them too," Cosmo pointed at the two pixies, and Jorgen sent them away too.

"Anti-me, as evil as you are, you can stay, as this affects your side too." Cosmo let his Anti-fairy counterpart stay, as with Jorgen there, there was nothing he could do. "Now where do we begin?"

"From the beginning," Jorgen said as he pooffed up chairs for himself and Anti-Cosmo.
