Chapter 14 memories of simpler days, attack from unknown forces, Luke arrives on Aionios

With the Redguns and Rhodes Island crew the group prepares to leave the destroyed bases after they have buried the bodies of the Agnus forces, Matthew is seen by himself still thinking about his sister Na'el as he is getting very worried about her along with remembering the time she snapped and brutally hurt someone once, there grandfather told them to only be used for self defense not for killing but now Matthew is even more worried about Na'el's mental state now more then ever.

Matthew: …

Jaune: Matthew, it's time to get going… is there something wrong?

Matthew: it's nothing Jaune.

Jaune: I don't believe you, I can tell something is bothering you and has you worried.

Matthew: I'm that easy to read huh… okay I'll tell you. It's Na'el my sister and I'm getting very worried about her.

Jaune: …how long has this war on Aionios been going.

Matthew: I don't know. I would say about 42 years.

Jaune: 42 years!?

Matthew: is there something wrong.

Jaune: … Matthew… what you just told me just now gave me a lot of questions.

Matthew: ?

Jaune didn't say any more because of two things, one, that this war on Aionios got started between the time that Remnant was discovered and conquered by the corporations, then the Coral war getting started and two there appears to be an organization on the planet already does the kingdoms know about this? He doesn't know but both should however they are still fighting against each other which is getting stranger by the minute.

Jaune decided not to jump to conclusions until he has more info and besides Matthew is without a doubt noticed something is very wrong with this war not only that it would give him more problems to worry about since his sister is still out there and judging by the dead bodies they found it tells them enough that his sister is possibly mentally unstable and finding her is very important before she does something very dangerous, the group soon boards there carriers and started crossing the sea to other side.

(Scene change)

Back at the capital of Agnus the commander Cammuravi is seen in the castle where the Queen reside as he bows to her and gives there ruler the report.

Cammuravi: your majesty, general Isurd failed to stop the enemy forces but he is still alive and is resting now.

Queen of Agnus: I see. And the rest of the situation against the invaders?

Cammuravi: … they are attacking all of our bases and out posts there without a doubt on there way here as we speak.

Queen of Agnus: have our forces be close to the border in or to defend the capital.

Cammuravi: !? But your majesty our cities will be in danger if there is no one there to defend them from any danger that may be fall them and many others.

Queen of Agnus: sacrifices must be made to protect our kingdom from the enemy and Keves do you understand.

Cammuravi: yes your majesty…

Queen of Agnus: good you may leave.

Soon the Commander leaves the throne room he was now deeply upset as many of there people are to be sacrifice in order to save there land, he knows this is wrong and that this will only make things worse.

Cammuravi: dammit… how many… how much more must we sacrifice for this pointless war…

(Scene change)

(Casshern Sins – Memory past)

On Shinck and his groups carrier Na'el is seen sleeping and dreaming of peaceful days long past, her family, her friends and home all of them living in peace, as the dream continues it soon turned into a nightmare as she sees many people that she loves are dead in front of her seeing the soldiers who did it and just as she was about to attack them something grabbed her leg.

Na'el: ?

Na'el looks down and saw a hand that is sticking out from the ground then more came out as it is revealed to be the dead soldiers she killed days ago as they all try to drag her down, Na'el soon was woken up by Shinck who notice she was having trouble sleeping.

Shinck: are you okay Na'el?

Na'el: … I'm fine. I don't need you to be bloody worried about me.

Shinck: … I saw you looking up information on our world's.

Na'el: yes … I have. And I want to leave this horrible world once the two kingdoms are gone.

Shinck: … Na'el you do know what we are doing is war crimes along with killing a lot of people not only that you have no idea what the Corporations do to worlds they conquer. Not only that but… this planet is your home.

Na'el : … you don't know what it is like to live here none of you do, fighting and fighting and fighting endlessly for no reason even seeing my own family along with those I love dying in front of me as I'm already close to going insane! But now there's a way to get away from this hell from all of the madness I had to endure my entire life I will do whatever it takes to get it even if it means destroying both Agnus and Keves or this cursed world!

Shinck: …

Na'el: you just do what you do best. You are just a mercenary nothing more nothing less you can never understand what it's like never.

Na'el walks away from Shinck not wanting to talk about anything else, soon Church calls telling Shinck they have another mission to take on from Balam, Shinck heads to the hanger and board his A.C as he does and prepares to head he thinks back to what Na'el said to him.

Shinck: … I do know what you are going through Na'el more then you know.

(Armored Core For Answer – we can see all)

Shinck arrived at the mission area and began attacking the Agnus base, wiping out many of the enemy's solders in the area.

Fatman: great stuff kid. Keep it up.

Shinck: roger.

The A.C pilot continues on destroying the base showing no mercy, many of the soldiers who saw Shinck's A.C calls him the blue demon that brings death where ever he goes, Shinck's group hears what they are calling there Ace pilot such a thing.

Church: okay that was something I didn't see coming.

Fatman: yeah… they really see him as a monster.

Na'el: … the blue demon…

Shinck finishes the rest of the enemy's solders off along with destroying there base and just as the mission was about done Church detected another group of enemies approaching them it two unknown machines that don't belong to any of the other factions.

(Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon – Silent Encounter)

Unknown enemy: target found.

Unknown enemy 2: independent mercenary designated for termination.

Shinck: ?

Church: careful there with the same unknown guys that we fought last time.

Fatman: it looks like we are on there get rid of list. Take them out!

Then Shinck started fighting against the unknown enemies as they try to kill him the enemy attacks with tech from both the Kingdoms and they are powered by ether as they try to eliminate Shinck.

Unknown enemy: sir I've detected one of the escaped targets on that carrier.

Unknown enemy: if that is true once we take care of this one we are going after that carrier.

Shinck: no you won't!

The battle continues on as the three fight on but it would soon be over as one of the unknown enemies are taken out of the picture.

Unknown enemy: impossible…

Unknown enemy 2: no! Your dead mercenary!

But unfortunately for him Shinck made short work of him as he joins his partner in the grave.

Unknown enemy 2: you won't… escape our… reach… we … will… hunt… you… do…wn…

(End of music)

With the last one destroyed the mission is a success, Shinck boards the carrier and they soon leave the area now worried that the unknown forces are hunting them down. Somewhere else a ship comes down from the sky inside is Luke Rhodes has a worried look on his face.

Then everything fades to black.

Another Chapter done. Matthew is getting worried about his sister, the Commander of the Agnus kingdom mourns the death of his men, Na'el slowly want to destroy both kingdoms and Aionios, the unknown enemies attacks the group but are defeated.
