Chapter 14: Dylan and Nami's Mushroom Takedown
Inside the Mall of America, Dylan Riley was still messed in the mind from the mushrooms as he was taunted and bad mouthed by hallucinations of Peggy Hill, Glenn Quagmire, Lila Rossi, Jeff McCallister, Darius Parker, and Ethan Murphy. Dylan was in the fetal position and covering his ears, trying to ignore them.
Meanwhile, Nami, Aqua, and Ristarte were watching as they were helpless due to being trapped in mushrooms.
"We need to help Dylan," Ristarte said to Nami and Aqua.
"We can't from this position," Aqua said.
"We need to help him somehow," Nami said and then she realize something.
"We can't help him physically, but maybe our words can help him," Nami said to Aqua and Ristarte as the two nodded "yes".
"Please stop, please stop, get these fucking voices out of my head," Dylan said as this was tearing him apart emotionally.
"Dylan," Nami said to Dylan as Dylan could hear her voice and moves his hands off his ears.
"Nami," Dylan said to Nami as he gets on his knees.
"Don't listen to those voices, you are not loser," Nami said to Dylan.
"I'm not?" Dylan asked Nami.
"No you're not, you are one of the kindest guys I met," Nami said to Dylan.
"Even though you are quiet and look like you could skin someone alive, you are so gentle with us," Aqua said to Dylan.
"And even though you are so weird, I like that about you, you and the weird things you love," Ristarte said to Dylan.
"Don't listen to those bitches, they mean nothing, just like the woman and baby I killed," Darius said to Dylan.
Before Darius could speak even further, he ends up getting stabbed in the throat with a bowie knife, which shocks the other hallucinations.
"Darius," Jeff said in shock as the knife slices through Darius' neck.
Darius' head falls onto the ground and then his body falls onto the ground with blood squirting out.
"What the, who did this?" Dylan asked and then he sees Nami with knife in hand.
"Nami," Dylan said.
"So you got one of your bitches to help you, just like the spoiled brat you are," Ethan said to Dylan.
"Don't call him a spoiled brat," Nami said to Ethan and then she starts to stab all over Ethan's body.
Nami stabs Ethan forty times as blood was seeping all over his chest. Then, she stabs Ethan in the throat as Ethan holds it, trying so hard to breathe. Ethan then falls onto the ground and bleeds out from the wounds.
"Great, I thought one disease was bad enough," Jeff said as Nami drops the knife.
"You like calling people disease," Nami said to Jeff and then she picks up a bucket from the ground.
"We then you can become one," Nami said to Jeff and then she throws this liquid out of the bucket and onto Jeff.
What was in the bucket was hydrofluoric acid as this severely burned a good chunk of Jeff's skin. Jeff just screams in pain as he collapses onto the floor as he dies from shock.
Nami then drops the bucket and picks up the knife. She then walks over to Lila with knife in hand.
"You like to ruin people's lives with your lies, well you won't be able to do that anymore," Nami said to Lila then she stabs Lila's throat.
Nami then reaches into the wound and pulls out Lila's vocal chords. She then stuffs the cords into Lila's mouth as it was blocking her airway.
Thirty seconds later, Lila falls onto the ground and chokes to death on her own vocal cords.
Nami then walks over to Glenn as he had his usual seductive smirk on his face.
"Hey babe, want to ditch that fat loser and be with a real man?" Glenn asked Nami.
"No thanks, I want something more," Nami said to Glenn and then she grabs onto Glenn's junk.
Then, Nami starts to squeeze on Glenn's junk as he notices that Nami was squeezing it very hard.
"Okay you can let go now," Glenn said to Nami.
Fifteen seconds later, Nami crushes Glenn's cock and balls as blood was pouring out from below his belt.
"Ahhh, what the hell did you do you stupid bitch?" Glenn asked Nami angrily.
Nami then slashes Glenn's eyes as he screams in intense pain. She then plunges the knife into Glenn's head as Glenn falls onto the ground and dies from his wounds.
There was only one left, Peggy Hill, so Nami walks over to her.
"You can't do anything to me, I'm the smartest, prettiest, and greatest substitute teacher that ever lived," Peggy said with a huge ego to her.
Nami then grabs Peggy's lower jaw as she was getting tired of Peggy's know it all and no nothing attitude.
"Oh shut the fuck up," Nami said angrily to Peggy and then she rips off Peggy's lower jaw with ease.
Peggy was screaming in pain as Nami drops Peggy's lower jaw.
Nami then nails an uppercut to Peggy as the force knocks Peggy's small brain out of her head and onto the ground. Peggy then falls onto the ground as her death was instant.
Nami then extends her right hand out to Dylan and then Dylan grabs onto it. Nami then helps him onto his feet and then Dylan lets go of her hand.
"Nami," Dylan said to Nami.
"Dylan, don't listen to what they say, you are the best guy I ever met," Nami said to Dylan.
"Even better than Luffy?" Dylan asked Nami as Nami wraps her arms around his neck.
"I wouldn't go so far," Nami said as Dylan laughs a little.
"Oh Nami," Dylan said to Nami.
Then, Dylan leans in and press his lips onto Nami's lips as they were sharing a kiss. Their tongues were swirling around together as it was getting passionate.
Meanwhile, the other girls were seeing Dylan caressing and tongue kissing the air. Apparently, Nami and him kissing her was all a figment of Dylan's mushroom induced imagination.
"Why the hell is he tongue kissing the air?" Ristarte asked in shock.
"I think those mushrooms are doing more to his mind than we thought," Aqua said as she knew she needed to snap Dylan out of this trance.
"I got to get Dylan to his normal self," Aqua said as she concentrates on her water powers.
Then, Aqua notices some water in her sights as she looks over to Kinoko Komori. Using her powers, Aqua sends the stream of water towards Kinoko, hoping to knock her out.
Kinoko sees the water coming her way and jumps out of the way, just in the nick of time.
"Ha, you missed," Kinoko said to Aqua.
"I don't think so," Aqua said.
Dylan then gets blasted with the stream of water and it sends him smashing through a cluster of mushrooms.
"DYLAN," Ristarte shouted in horror to Dylan and then she hears some wincing as Dylan was okay.
"Oh thank god," Ristarte said as she breathed a sigh of relief.
Dylan then gets on his feet as he brushes the dirt off his body. He then holds his head after taking that wild bump.
"Oh god, it's like someone sprayed me with a Super Soaker that was at full power," Dylan said as he moves his left hand off his head.
Dylan could see his hallucinations were gone and that he was able to see everything around him.
"Okay, I think my trip is done," Dylan said.
"I don't think so, there is plenty of mushrooms here, I could just get you high again," Kinoko said to Dylan.
Then, Kinoko could feel someone kick her back as she drops down onto one knee.
"What the?" Kinoko asked in shock.
Then, Kinoko gets kicked in the face as she gets sent into a pile of mushrooms hard. The force knocks the Clima-Tact out of her hands and rolls along the ground.
Then, someone picks up the Clima-Tact as it was Nami and she manage to get out of the mushroom.
"Nami," Dylan said to Nami as he runs over to her.
"Nami, how did you get out?" Dylan asked Nami as he stands a few inches from her.
"With this," Nami said and then she pulls out a switchblade from her pocket.
"Where did you get a switchblade?" Dylan asked Nami.
"Oh I found it under a pillow in our motel room, by the way, we are never going back to that motel ever again," Nami said to Dylan.
"Oh you are so smart," Dylan said to Nami.
"How are we going to take down Kinoko?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Oh god, oh god, how do you take down someone who is able to create drug inducing mushrooms?" Dylan asked as he was starting to panic a little.
Then, Dylan has an idea in mind as he sees the control panels on the rides.
"I got an idea," Dylan said.
"What is it?" Nami asked Dylan.
"I want you to create storm clouds at Pepsi Orange Streak, Fairly Odd Coaster, Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge, BrainSurge, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock," Dylan said to Nami.
"Okay," Nami said.
"When I give the signal, activate your Thunderbolt Tempo on all the rides at once," Dylan said to Nami.
"This is crazy, it won't work," Nami said as she couldn't believe what Dylan was saying.
"It might or it might not, but you got to trust me," Dylan said to Nami and then Nami nods at him.
"Okay, I believe you," Nami said as she hands Dylan the switchblade.
Nami then takes apart her Clima-Tact and then she starts to twirl her pieces. She then runs all over the amusement park as hot and cold bubbles float into the air and they form these very threatening storm clouds.
After three minutes, Nami comes back as there was five big storm clouds over the five rides as their plan was ready to be put into motion.
"So is everything in place?" Dylan asked Nami.
"Yes, the clouds are where you told me to put them," Nami said to Dylan.
"Good," Dylan said as Kinoko gets on her feet.
Kinoko had some bruising on her left cheek and scuff marks along her face.
"You think you take down Shemage, well it is impossible to take me down motherfuckers," Kinoko said to Dylan and Nami.
"Well this mushroom is about to get cooked," Dylan said and then he nods over to Nami.
Nami then raises her Clima-Tact up in the air, ready to take Kinoko out.
"Thunderbolt Tempo Times Five," Nami said as bolts of lightning hits the control panels on the rides.
During that move, Kinoko jumps out of the way as she was near Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock ride.
"Ha, you miss me," Kinoko said to Nami as Nami had a smile on her face.
"Why are you smiling?" Kinoko asked Nami as the gondola comes down near Kinoko.
Kinoko then grabs onto the gondola and then it shoots straight up like a rocket. When it reaches the top, Kinoko lets go and she goes straight up into the air.
Ten seconds later, Kinoko notice she was falling down and heading for the Fairly Odd Coaster.
"SHIT, SHIT, SHITTTTT," Kinoko shouted in horror as she was heading for the track.
Lucky for Kinoko, she lands in one of the cars as it was spinning around like a top.
"Oh god, I feel like I'm going to fucking throw up," Kinoko said as the inside of her head was spinning.
Twenty seconds later, Kinoko gets launched out of the car and was heading towards Pepsi Orange Streak.
"AHHHHH," Kinoko screams and then she lands on the track of Pepsi Orange Streak.
"Okay, I'm good, I'm fucking good," Kinoko said as she gets back on her feet.
Then, the cars for Pepsi Orange Streak come rushing at Kinoko at high speeds. The front car hits Kinoko hard and she is sent flying in the air.
"CRAPPPP," Kinoko shouted as she was heading for BrainSurge.
Then, one of the cars on BrainSurge strikes Kinoko really hard as she sent flying over a different direction.
"This is not fun anymore," Kinoko said as she was heading over to the Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge.
Kinoko then lands on the track as she was slowly getting back on her feet, her body covered in bruises from getting hit with ride cars at high speeds.
"No cars are going to keep me down," Kinoko said as she looked like she was about to pass out from the pain she was feeling.
Suddenly, the coaster car comes rushing down the track and straight for Kinoko.
"Oh fuck," Kinoko said as she knew this was going to be very bad.
Then, the car hits Kinoko at full speed as she is sent flying towards a wall.
"Ouch," Nami said.
"I feel like we might have a dead girl on our hands," Dylan said as he and Nami were watching Kinoko getting hit by all the riding cars.
Then, Kinoko hits the wall really hard as it did some damage on it. Kinoko then falls off the wall and bounces off several mushrooms during it.
Soon, Kinoko bounces off the last mushroom and lands hard on the ground, knocking herself out and landing right in front of Dylan and Nami.
"Is she breathing?" Nami asked Dylan and then Dylan sees that Kinoko was breathing.
"Yes she is," Dylan said.
"Nami, can I give you a hug?" Dylan asked Nami.
"Sure why?" Nami asked Dylan and then Dylan gives her a soft hug.
"Because you were so awesome using your Thunderbolt Tempo like that," Dylan said to Nami as the clouds disappear.
"Aw thanks," Nami said to Dylan as Dylan breaks off the hug.
"Let's get Aqua and Rista out," Dylan said to Nami as Nami nods "yes" to Dylan.
They rush over to Aqua as Nami grabs the switchblade from Dylan's pocket. She then uses the blade to cut open the mushroom and then Aqua falls out of the mushroom and onto the floor.
"Are you okay Aqua?" Nami asked Aqua as Aqua gets on her feet.
"I am," Aqua said.
"Thanks for snapping me out of that trip," Dylan said to Aqua and then he gives her a kiss on the forehead.
That kiss cause Aqua to have this heart look in her eyes and was in a trance. Ten seconds later, Nami shakes Aqua a bit, getting her back to normal.
"Come on, let's get to Rista," Nami said to Dylan and Aqua as they rush over to Ristarte.
Nami then cuts into the other mushroom and Ristarte falls out of it and onto the floor. Ristarte then gets on her feet and brushes the dirt off her dress.
"Aww, it fucking sucks I didn't get to fight," Ristarte said in a disappointed tone.
"Don't worry Rista, you'll get to fight soon enough," Dylan said to Ristarte as this made her a little bit happy hearing Dylan's words.
"Alright Dylan, time for you to get the card out of Kinoko," Nami said to Dylan.
"Okay," Dylan said as he and the girls walk over to the unconscious Kinoko.
Dylan then places his right hand near Kinoko's chest and then his hand starts to glow a bit. Kinoko then flinches a little as the number disappears off her body. Then a card floats out of Kinoko's body and then Dylan grabs hold of it. Dylan's hand stops glowing as he gets a look at the card, which was similar to Ristarte's card.
"Kinoko Komori, stars: three, special ability: Mushroom, daily income: $80 per day," Dylan said what was on the card.
"Okay, we got to get out of here," Ristarte said to the others.
"Who's going to carry her?" Dylan asked the girls as they look at him.
"Of course," Dylan said.
Dylan then carries Kinoko in his arms as they try to find a way out of this mall.
"Where's an exit that no one will spot us?" Dylan asked as he and the girls were looking around.
After ten minutes, Nami spots an exit not too far from where they are.
"Over there," Nami said and then she and the others rush to that exit.
Meanwhile outside the mall, fire and police were trying to figure what to do because they never experience something like this before.
Then, the mushrooms disappear from outside and inside the mall as they were ready to go in.
"Alright, let's move, move, move," the fire chief said as fire crews and police officers break down the entrance and enter the mall.
Meanwhile, Dylan and the girls sneak past the scene and head to their rental car. They open the doors as Ristarte and Aqua hop into the back seat, then Dylan sets the unconscious Kinoko on their laps.
Then, Dylan gets in the front passenger seat and Nami gets in the driver's seat as Dylan puts the card away.
"Okay Nami, get us out of here before everyone suspects us of this mess," Dylan said to Nami as they close the doors.
"Got it," Nami said and as soon as they got their seatbelts on, Nami turns on the car and drives away from the mall.
Several hours later, Kinoko manages to open her eyes (even though they were covered by her hair) and they were back to her normal brown color. She looks around to see she was laying on a bed, in a motel room that had seen it's better days, and her body was completely healed (thanks to Aqua and Ristarte's powers).
"Where am I?" Kinoko asked and then she feels her hat was gone.
"What happened to my hat?" Kinoko asked and then she sees Nami, Ristarte, and Aqua with Aqua wearing her hat.
"Look at me, I'm a human sized mushroom," Aqua said as she was acting goofy.
"Take it off, this thing is precious," Kinoko said to Aqua as she yanks her hat off of Aqua's head.
"Who are you girls, are you going to kill me?" Kinoko asked the girls as she puts the hat on her head.
"I'm Nami, this is Aqua and Ristarte, we were the ones to take you down," Nami said to Kinoko as she introduces her to the others girls.
"Well I'm Kinoko Komori and what do you mean take me down?" Kinoko asked the girls.
"Oh you were possessed by a card and me and Dylan took you down with the help of some rides," Nami said to Kinoko.
"Tell me this isn't some dream," Kinoko said to Nami.
"Nope it's real," Nami said.
"Where's this Dylan?" Kinoko asked Nami.
"He's outside, sitting on a chair," Nami said.
Kinoko then gets off the bed, walks over to the door, and opens it. She then walks out of the room and closes the door behind her.
"I'm glad we are leaving this shithole tomorrow," Nami said to Aqua and Ristarte.
"Yeah, I could feel the bedbugs crawling all over me just thinking about it," Ristarte said.
Outside the room, Dylan sits down on a lawn chair as Kinoko sits down beside him.
"Hey there, Dylan right?" Kinoko asked Dylan.
"Yes, Dylan Riley," Dylan said.
"Nice to meet you," Kinoko said to Dylan as she looked nervous.
"Say, are you shy?" Dylan asked Kinoko as Kinoko nods "yes".
"Don't worry Kinoko, you are in good hands, I'm not much of a talker," Dylan said to Kinoko.
Then, Kinoko lightly puts her left hand on top of Dylan's right hand as Dylan notices this. Dylan then lightly holds Kinoko's hand as Kinoko blushes a bit.
"Looks like someone has fallen for me," Dylan thought.
"Say how did you get here?" Dylan asked Kinoko.
"Oh, well me and Class 1-B were about to take on Class 1-A in our Joint Training Battle when an earthquake hit the area," Kinoko said as Dylan knew what happened to her.
"Then, you got separated from the group and landed in the U.S.A.," Dylan said to Kinoko as Kinoko was surprised to hear that.
"How did you know?" Kinoko asked Dylan.
"Because the similar thing happened to the other girls as well," Dylan said.
"Wow," Kinoko said in amazement.
"Listen I'm sorry for what I did to you, the girls told me what happened and I feel awful," Kinoko said to Dylan.
"That's alright, you were not being yourself," Dylan said to Kinoko.
"But that experience brought back some memories of being bullied and seeing characters I detest with a passion," Dylan said as Kinoko felt awful for using her mushrooms on Dylan.
"I promise to never do that to you again," Kinoko said to Dylan with sincerity in her voice.
"I really hope so," Dylan said and then he let go of Kinoko's hand.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back inside and pack my things, we are heading back to my home tomorrow," Dylan said to Kinoko as he gets up from the chair and walks back into the motel room.
"I'm heading back to Dylan's home, I hope everything goes well after that fight we had," Kinoko thought as all she could think of was living at Dylan's home.
Holy shit, that was one crazy battle and one brutal beating for Kinoko Komori. But now Dylan has got the fourth card for the collection and a girl from a universe full of people with Quirks, hopefully this will be a big help for them. Also, I won't add the stats after getting a fourth card, I will add it next chapter once the card gets scanned.
