All right, we're in the second chapter of the story of my new quarantine zone story of peace and safety. I hope you enjoy this little story. I'm not sure how long the story will be, but I hope it will be a fun one more relaxed a little bit not as dramatic I mean, there's a little romance later but more than an adventure than anything else.

we're in for an age characters are going to age now we're jumping big jumps too. We're gonna skip the year the next year. We're gonna skip up to 998 MG there's nothing anything spectacular that happens in 997 so I'm skipping that year, the only thing that happens that I might mention here in this little introduction is that the guy the lieutenant dies of Voran disease he knew he was going to get ill. That's why he gave his little daughter Zoe to the Reeds OK but that's the only thing that happened here. I might give a little short story in one of the characters' perspectives on it but that's it pretty much and then we'll move up to 9998MG OK right then.

Riley

we've been here for now Miss, Scarlet, and Ash Ash have been living. They've been living in this quarantine zone for several years now at least three of them Annelise and Zoe have been living here for a year now and nothing has changed much I was getting sick of Father saying that he's trying to negotiate with them with the people they're ridiculous stupid people like don't ever listen, not just the people here in the quarantine zone but trying to negotiate with Janice to get us our freedom. It's been ridiculous. It's like pulling teeth.

gang peace, safety, and everything we want is hard to get now face. It will never get out. We're stuck in here forever. I'm sick of this, but Mom gave me some news that made me feel better. Came up with a birth certificate. What is this? I asked, I was 77 years old mine was trying to comprehend this too what is this Mrs. Reed? Well, Mom said we can call me Mom you know she said to Annelise yes yes I'm sorry Mom said Elise Annelise well it's OK Annelise you don't know exactly even though you've been living here a year. It's hard to adjust and I did too. Zoe was at our heels well the only thing I got for now we were was this. I went back once with your father to pull teeth from Janice not just our freedom but to get my hands on this cause I had my copy of this. This is your birth certificate, Riley's birth certificate what does that even mean, Janice kid and that's why he abused me for so long I'm not biologically related to Janice the Janice. Well, I guess that explains why I was not so comfortable living in Valder.

that's right my new mother who is my biological mother and my biological father said Riley I smiled blowing that my name now not just by being adopted, but that's my biological last name my birth parents, Helena and Julius adopted sister Scarlet kind of my sister my birth brother, my biological brother Ash, and my two other adopted sisters, Annalise and Zoe.

this is my family well I guess I'll have to take it with that but you will love it. I'm not a princess. I was just a normal girl that I was kidnapped. Mother told me my story. I was born secretly Scarlett and Ash didn't know Janice kidnapped me to be Voran, and I lived with them for a while well, I guess that's good I guess it's good news at least.

then there was some bad news that made Zoe upset her father died of Voran disease. That was sad. I felt sorry for the little girl. Luckily, we had her safe now she won't have to suffer. Well, no one will have to suffer now. My mother also will not yet, but she's gonna die next year I know she is just like Annalisa's mother died last year.

we grieved her father went together with the poor man who's one of the nicest guards in our zone poor Zoe well like I said she's safe now I told Mom and Dad it's getting more and more dangerous and I know Riley we know, but we're having a hard time with the peaceful tactics peace tactics we need to take matters into our own hands and fight back, but we can't revolt. Why not why not can we not just revolt against this?

we can't show them that we're ready to attack back even though we're ready to OK then I won't say any more on the subject good girl I asked her if she was coming up with a solution. No, no I haven't not because I'm complaining and I just don't have any ideas, Riley, I asked Ashli to help but he's just not wanting to help that's just as just to accept it. Her mom wants to have another baby I wonder what good that would do us very help. That's for sure very helpful indeed.

Scarlett looked like she was enjoying this. I wonder what that means I don't know I said looking at at Mom right now. Do you want me to go talk to her mom? She might have an idea of what I meant by this. OK, I said, as I left to speak to Scarlet.

Scarlett

Riley wanted to speak to me. She wanted to tell me that she was biologically related to Miss Lena, which was nice but also she wanted to ask me if I had any ideas and liked the idea that Mama Helena might have another baby soon I smiled another baby maybe they'll be the Timecrest, that could be it and that might be the solution to be born would be the best thing for every one of us I think yes it will be even Ashli agreed to this. He agreed that Timecrest would be the best solution.

Riley asked me if I'd have to die for the new Timecrest to be born. I said no I won't have to be dead for the next time. Chris is birth. I'm just active on Timecrest right now meaning I'm in the place of the next one to be born on the forerunner and it skipped the generation so I have to wait another year, I have to wait until that child is born and smile at me. Do you think they'll figure out a way for us to get out of here? I don't know what he'll be like or what they'll be like. I don't know if they're here she doesn't know we can't get out here and ask Ezra if that is true, but do you think Ezra will visit us? I doubt it he's not our ally. or maybe he might be and he might come I don't know.

well, I'm glad to asked me too. I'm glad you asked me but I know your ideas. then we can work on them together tomorrow I'm gonna go talk to Dr. Crawford or I have already been. How is your practice going? Great I started last year. Remember you started so young Riley well start young. I guess said looking at me, are you thinking about trying to market your Amy? I can't from here. We have to have our freedom for me to sell these things I can make them, but no one gets to have them even though I'm a prodigy of making them. I'm a prodigy around the zones with them. I've been giving them away to people, but I would love to sell them eventually whenever we get our freedom I will do that. I hope you can. I'm thinking about making some things with my flower petals the healing petals that I make Dr. Crawford has made the aura potions. I'm thinking about making something similar with my healing pedals. Oh, that would be great. We're doing such great work even though we can't leave this place. I know right we need to get our little brother to do things for us or do things for us or learn to help us out we're only two girls who can only do so much and Elise doesn't have any special talents, except with her necromancy and that ain't helpful for us.

No, it's not and Zoe is too young. Sadly yes she's only four. Maybe next year will be better for us. Maybe Joy will come back into this family. That would be nice.

has your human given you any ideas? No Riley they haven't. I said they haven't given me any ideas Riley that's why I'm stumped on something. Let me know if you come up with something.

I will that I do promise to you. I will come up with something. Let's not lose hope and faith and lose side of what we need our freedom. Yes, our freedom to our freedom soon.

I overheard the girls talking about this I mean, yes I'm complacent and want to do things and stay here, but I do want to be free too but still, it's chill here so take as long as we need to take to get through this. I saw Miss Scarlet and Riley and Annelise leave, I wondered where they were going. I'm gonna have to go wherever but I'm not interested in going wherever they're going and Zoe is too young to go wherever they're going or you going.

Nadia invited us to her birthday party and we're going to go visit with her for a little while Scarlet Riley and Annalise said all at once but Riley and Elise you're too young to go. It doesn't matter Nadia likes hanging out with us so she wants she invite us and Miss Scarlet is older, but she doesn't mind, she doesn't like that she invited you.

OK, have fun at Nadia's party. I guess I only don't care much.

Even though I do care, I've been trying to get Nadia to notice me, but she's not interested. I wonder why it's not like I'm pretty good-looking I mean, have Sandy Brown hair and violet eyes and am beautiful. Why didn't she like me? Well, it's none of my concern I guess.

but I wanted to hang out with Dylan and I'm guessing he'll probably have me. He probably won't be at the birthday party. I don't know, but we have to sit around and watch as this is Volder with them, but mostly just Naughty and Dylan watched it together, and the mage wars I watched two, even though I can't have magic of my own.

Even though I probably could, if I tried, I'm just not interested in having magic Riley Scarlet and Annalise always spar together. It's fine. It is fun to watch.

Well, I guess that's that. I guess I heard Riley and Scarlet tell Annelise to tell them that we're going over to the stones for a bit. Be back by dinner. We might not be. We might eat dinner there. It's Nadia's birthday party. Well have a great time then, I heard Mother say Send me back by dark then OK? we will be back later. I heard Zoe say rubbing it Riley we back later Annelise will be Elise and I and Miss Scarlet. Your sister kind of is going out for a little while because no, you have to stay here Zoe.

The bigger girl and I'll come back and read your bedtime story Zoe's face lit up I guess OK.

and then they were gone well I guess I'll be here alone myself for a while in the house with Mom and Dad and Zoe. I guess that's fine. I hope they have a great time at Nadia's party.

end of this chapter I know they're short, but this is not one of those being dramatic stories. I mean it is but it's not. It's kind of like an adventure slice-of-life type of story. I might change I might change the things on here family/romance probably will be with the story because it sounds more like a family slice-of-life type of story so I hope you enjoy it
