all right here we are. It's time to get back into this story, peace and safety. It's been a while since I've worked on this story. I know I love Scarlett's stories and it takes me a while to get around to them because I have to tell these stories around like as in chapters done one at a time unless they're sure not that I can do several in a day, it takes me a while to do one chapter. After all, I have so many books that I'm working on at once and it's not easy to do and keep up with all the books. I'm working on you think I should do one book at a time and focus on it that should've been my priority right off, but that's difficult to do sometimes takes me a while to get to the stories but I hope you enjoy this one anyway I think it's fine. All right let's get started into this chapter. Shall we I'll tell you what this chapter is gonna be about.

now finally chapter 6 this chapter will be about the soul becoming the new guard. Also, I don't know if this will be one of just sold by himself, but I don't think so not like we do in Friend and we won't split it up for Soul to have a chapter 2 self, we never did none of the other chapters were. It's gonna be a chapter himself, but this chapter will be about him becoming a guard in the quarantine zone and Scarlet. Everyone's ages and the ages are messed up right now especially because Luther is the baby instead of Ash so everything is messed up move up Scarlet will be 18 and will be 15. Everyone will get an age up or two ages. I mean one year enough so actually she'll be 19. Sorry Scarlett will be 19. Ashli will be 15. Ignore that other part so will be 20 all right then the Voran sisters also age 2 years each, Riley will be 10 Annise 10 Zoe six I mean not 67 and Luther Luther will be too all right then let's get going right We got all their ages and everyone's ages up so let's get going now and I told you what the story is about. Soul becomes a guard but not just any guard a guard of their quarantine zone. He said he'd make their lives miserable for several years trying to get his hands on Scarlet, but we'll get to that when we get into the actual story itself all right see you in the story. This will be mostly the Scarlet chapter, all right then see you in the chapter.

Scarlett

it's been two years since the party two years since the baby was born I can't train him yet. He's too young, but he was so cute and so innocent, I would play with him and he would play back. He was old enough to not quite feed himself, but almost, Helena and I would feed him. We were the oldest woman in the group as a full-grown adult now 1919 Luther would be 15 if he was born first oh well Ash was 15. I told him now that he's older he needs to step up a bit like he said and he did he did when he was told he helped around the house more how to help Annelise Riley and Zoe. They were all his younger siblings now and sometimes he'd help with the baby mostly he left me in Helena which was fine.

also, Helena also did education for the younger ones and finished up ashes education he was 15 after all and he still had to have education I would help but I didn't have much help and Zoe Riley and Annalise still had education too. They were all 10 so they all had different ages and different levels they had to work on. Zoe was seven. She still had a ways to go to all of them did hell I finished my education when I was 17 and 18 last year in the year before education was complete. I still communicated with the watch as well telling the counterpart that my Timecrest would be ready soon. It'll take some time he has to grow and he has to learn, and I have to teach him and stay, patient. Patience is a virtue for a reason I said.

he'll figure out how to get the watch activated but for now, I have to be in charge I heard Helen say girls Ash you need to be educated even though we're stuck here we need to be educated and do the best we can we need to stay hopeful that we'll get out of here soon. She said I knew that everyone knew that our whole group knew that we knew we needed to stay patient, but that doesn't mean the kids have to slack in their education.

so we would do our best and I would do my best to help as much as I can I was the oldest after all. The oldest child also the Timecrest I had so many responsibilities. I had to make sure everyone was safe. He decided to go out with me not out with me, but outside with Riley and Annalise Zoe was too little and we sparred for a bit. We did an abandoned alleyway that was all right.

after everyone's schooling, that's what we did. We were taking an afternoon and we'd go out and spa together Ash, Riley, and Elise were a site. Helena would watch the baby and Zoe. They weren't old enough to come out and do it yet. We will train Zoe eventually, but she's not old enough, even if she would not allow her to grow up too quickly she said and learned to fight she at least was not even wait a little longer than that. She said we were just not the baby. She said I want him to grow up, but I don't want him to fight too early either, we agreed I don't want my time to get for a while. Wait till he's at least thought for a moment. Oh wait she said we spar for a while. Our fighting was great. Riley was pleased with all of us even Ash, even though Ash didn't want to fight. She was very pleased with him too.

I wanna wait till he gets magic. Riley said as we continued fighting I wanna wait till he can get magic. That'll help him some. We agreed we wanted him to have magic. We want him to be able to fight. Ash doesn't have magic so we need at least another member of our group that can use magic I have fire and the others have others. Riley has healing and her lance and Lease have her dark magic, but that's not enough for us, and we don't know what Zoe will have or we do not know what they will wheel when they get older we have no idea.

I guess we'll have to find out when the time comes and when it does, then we hear a noise. Our group skirted into a corner all of us poured, pulled deeper in Annelise's hand we don't want you to be seen. The guards are making their rounds. I nodded. I know the rounds we dipped into the alleyway. Should we just go back inside the house I whispered, I don't know if that's a good idea. I think we should send it. I think we should all go back inside the house and watch from there, but we need to go up to the elevator. We don't wanna be seen inside this big foyer of the library, as agreed, let us up the elevator he said, putting in the key York key. I was the first one who release it. He said I took my key out faster than you he said, Miss Scarlet, everyone agreed.

we went out of the elevator, and now we went back inside the house.

Back inside the building

I felt the pressure of them, pulling me, not pulling me, but kind of gently pulling me back inside the building, jumping back in the elevator, putting the key in it getting inside, and riding up to the living quarters we were finally upstairs we didn't wanna be on the ground floor obviously with the library there wasn't door there so we couldn't just linger in the doorway area why are you sudden coming inside? I heard Miss Helena say because mom Ash said we saw the guards but that's not a cost for alarm. They always know you go outside and spar it. Oh yes, but Riley said guard patrols where we can go to the library, but I don't think it's safe for us to go outside especially Scarlet said, Annalise.

The others, Riley and Ash nodded. We can't go outside with right with Scarlet right now or any of us should be spotted. The new shifts are starting. They're adding new guards more tightly guards miss Helena said bouncing the baby on her hip. He was only two now when he went down oh, come on Helena, I said can you put him down but as soon as she put him down, he ran to me, swoop him up, my baby. I said, holding him down from your mama to come to me softly he touched my face. I know I'm too old for you I said, kissing him on the head, and snuggling him close to me Scarlet said I want him in my arms and he getting too big for that. Riley asked. I think he went down so he could come to me. I said Baby Luther snuggled closer. I heard him say softly into my ear yes OK I said laughing, I am yours I said or is it the watch you want he didn't want to watch right now he wasn't ready for that but he knew what was he imported thought watch yes it's the watch I said and I'll be your watch soon, I said he smiled he didn't quite understand but I helped him now I said, shifting him over to my shoulders shifting his weight a bit you know you're getting heavy time where I cannot pick you up and it'll be inappropriate. I want to enjoy it for a while. OK, he says he is so cute, if you want down, I'll let you down. Where will you go? He did point did he want it down? He did he did he pointed down again.

so I did I put him down. We wanted to see what he was looking at. We got him a little stool to sit on so he could look out the window he wanted up, but not in our arms he wanted a stool we put him on the window and frowned at the guards besides our normal guards some new guards were in the trials two years ago found it one guard I didn't see him obviously cause I couldn't see but Ash and the others described it. I think he's looking at Riley said I think he sees your brother, Scarlett, my face was ashen for a moment what do you mean? I mean he sees outside of course he started to cry. No, don't cry. I said I'm not out there. I'm in here where it's safe. His face brightened for a moment and remembered, what Riley said to him, and Annelise and Ashli said that we would keep Scarlet safe. He smiled, knowing that his way we would be safe inside this building.

the brilliant blue light came from him surrounding his family and keeping us safe he said yes I said safe good job. He knows what these words mean that's incredible. Helena said yes Mom said Riley knows what it means that's good. That is very good indeed.

but he kept frowning so turned and saw our building. I think he saw Luther's face. The brat is too he thought. Well, then he's getting bigger strikes until some time. He thought since they're stuck in that building there's no way I can get Scarlet alone.

But I can't wait to flirt with her and bring her to my bed. I have to figure out how I have a house inside a folder now I'm not a prince yet, but I am a guard if I can get her in my bed for a little while at least I have to figure out how my little one is still little and Ashli ain't strong enough and neither of the others. They're all children. Well, I will get Scarlet to be mine soon away.

Soul

I walked by their building. I could tell that they were watching as they took Scarlet inside. I was so disappointed that they did that right away, but there'll be a time. I'll catch them all outside. Once I do I will grab her. She won't always have the baby brat with her when she's practicing and sparring she's always only with Riley Elise and Ash they're not very strong and if they were, they probably won't pull in eventually and I can sneak out. I'm hungry for a feast of her. I've been missing her. I can taste her just to get the right food chocolate probably be the best that I can roast her, oh my Scarlet I can't wait to have you.

I told you when I became a guard your troubles will be just beginning sister and now I'm in power kind of. I'm not a prince yet, but I am a guard. I will convince Janice to make me a prince and you'll be my princess Scarlet. You will not be able to get away.

and one day I did catch them. They were out sparring and they were about to go in. I saw them during my shift the 15-year-old Ash and his little group Scarlet Riley Annalise they fought as hard as they could and even tried, but they were not strong enough against me, the baby wasn't with them he was inside. He wasn't big enough to come outside. That was good. It'll be more difficult to act now. Maybe I can do it in the dark alleyway. I won't have to take her to another room or a bedroom and they might be able to stop me, but if they'll be able to chase me.

I became a guard so I can have this moment that that's that now from my rounds as I dressed in the alleyway and bothered to clean up maybe I did. I teleported back to my quarters showered, cleaned up, and went back to the guild. I mean back to the quarantine zone that they didn't want to be just the guild. It was part of my guild training actually to be part of this guild to be part of the guild folder. I wasn't fooling guard yet which is fine with me. They gave me the quarantine alone so I can learn the ropes of it and then I will be in charge of this one. I am even more dangerous.

Scarlett

in the alleyway

laid on the street after my brother was done with me. I didn't know what to do next and he said he'll be after me again no, I will not let that happen and I will not carry a baby if I am I hope not. I wanna Julius to toss the ugly thing out if I did.

finally, Riley found me she snuck out and Annalise Ash stayed back in the building for the time being only took two people to carry me Ashli Ash was there too, but not there. He was waiting at the building. He was opening an elevator for us. I was wrapped in the blanket, so I wouldn't even though it was dirty, I threw out the blanket when they got inside and redressed my clothes there the girls dressed inside washed, and dressed again even though I was clean the baby reached for me little hands out I took them mine. He said I am yours. I said, whispering into his ear to kiss his little cheeks he giggled. Maybe I should snuggle with you. I said he smiled. Maybe we could take a nap if it wasn't appropriate. He was still a baby mama agreed Helena agreed on this. I cleaned up. Got clean and got the soul smell off of my clothes clean putting new clothes went to my room and the little one was brought there to play next to me. I wrapped my arms around him and snuggled his head against me. I felt his warm blue glow around me, and I felt safe and safe. He said safe. I whispered back mine he said again, my sweet little one he knows that was injured. He touched them. No, he said, he whimpered don't cry. I said, holding him closer.

I kissed his little head and his little cheeky hands Luther I said smiling to himself when I said his name one day this would be inappropriate. I am older than you. You know that he knows understanding when you get to be a teenager. I cannot do this, at least until we marry it'll be very inappropriate. I knew this more than anyone so let's take good advantage of this while we can. I said we fell asleep in a nap my arms wrapped around his little body.

I love you. I whispered love you. He said again to me softly you'll save us Hards good boy I said I save you. He says safe. He said again. I kissed his head and we fell asleep and took ourselves a good nap.

It took him a while to fall asleep. His valid eyes still were open watching then satisfied he laid down against me and fell asleep. How sweet I thought little thing.

I slept too dreaming of our future, where we'd be safe. He'll be older and we'll be together. That'll be a while, though. I guess we'll have to deal with it.

Then we had to get up nap time was over we ate dinner. I didn't want the little one to sleep without me tonight either, but it would be appropriate. I told him he had to sleep in his bed tonight as I talked to him I smiled at him, touching his little face, and his big eyes looked at me you'll get bigger. I said bigger he said big enough that could take care of you. He says I know but now I gotta take care of you and train you. OK, he says you need to sleep without you. he says yes, you have a bad dream without me. I'll be OK, next door smiles OK Scarlett says my name saying it for the first time I love you he says I do you. I love you back you sweet little thing you

now get rid of the monster that hurts you he says I want you to try to run away. He says to run away far away once we get our freedom. Yes, we run far away I said, and you will take care of it knowing his destiny I kissed just forehead and left the room.

he started to cry don't cry. I said turning back you need to sleep by yourself. He pointed at me no I can't. Your bed. Ain't big enough and I can't sleep with you tonight. Nap time is one thing. Bedtime is another. I said now sleep OK. He smiled started crying and went to sleep.

I hated this too, but I had to sleep in my bed as well sleeping alone was scary but what else could I do now that my brother had done what he wanted I could dream about it and him doing it again and again and again this time I was older and he was older now he told her told soul to keep his hands off or do you think you're gonna do a little one? I heard my brother say you're just a child I'm a teenager. I heard him say yeah but one no I will defeat you and I will save my Scarlet he said, hand come on let's go. He said you mean more to me than you know he said Scarlet I smiled, knowing that the Timecrest himself loves me who told you to come watch he said the watch told me to come very well I said, I've activated it. I smiled in my dream. I smiled that he activated the watch I have to destroy it soon. He said maybe your brother will die in the destruction. Hopefully, a smile, knowing that my brother might die in this well, we made it back to the building my dream, and we went back to my room and he got me cleaned up. I need to sleep too or be safe now I know that and we went to sleep in the dream and I went to sleep about the future. dreaming about my Timecrest.

smiling, knowing that he'll be there to save me one day but I'll have to stay inside no more sparring. The others can go out, but I have to stay and that's what I did for the rest of my time. I never went outside again much at all inside with Miss Helena and Zoe and Luther. well, Ash, the other sparrow outside was fine.

it is better for me if the other come in all sweaty and dirty, and they would clean up and that would be our day.

and that was fine with me fine fine fine and soul never bothered me for a while and that was good.
