Chapter 45: The Power of a Water Elemental
Dylan Riley and his group of girls were facing across from Gray Fullbuster and Juvia Lockser. Dylan was in shock to see the two Fairy Tail members in his sights.
"I can't believe it, Juvia and Gray," Dylan thought as he taps the right temple on his glasses as it scans them.
After ten seconds, the scan was complete as it was indeed Juvia and beside her was definitely Gray.
"Oh my god, I can't believe it," Dylan said as Nami looks on.
"Dylan, what's going on?" Nami asked Dylan.
"You know how Beth and Meredy are from the same world," Dylan said to Nami.
"Yeah," Nami said.
"These two are from the same world as them," Dylan said as the girls were in shock.
"Oh shit," Ristarte said in shock.
"Who are they?" Secre Swallowtail asked Dylan.
"The guy is Gray Fullbuster and the girl is Juvia Lockser, Gray has ice magic and Juvia is a water elemental," Dylan said.
Dylan then sees a red glowing "40" on Juvia's left thigh and then it disappears soon after. Then he sees a silver line connecting Gray and Juvia and then it disappears soon after.
"That would explain the two readings," Dylan said.
"So Juvia definitely has a card in her, but what about Gray?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Juvia must have an ability from a card to link her and Gray together," Dylan said.
"So if we beat Juvia, the link is gone?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Maybe," Dylan said.
"So you ready to face the best pair from Fairy Tail?" Gray asked the group in a cocky tone and then he removes his shirt.
"Does Gray always remove his shirt?" Ristarte asked Dylan.
"Yes, he has a stripping habit that kicks in a lot, thank god he still has on his pants," Dylan said.
"Let me take them out, I want to show Juvia that I'm a true master of the water," Aqua said to Dylan.
"Ha you have to be joking, Juvia is the best water girl ever," Juvia said to Aqua as she throws a water ball at Aqua.
Aqua then extends her arms forward, hoping she would able to control the ball to stop.
"Come on you stupid powers, stop this ball," Aqua said angrily to herself.
Then, the water ball hits Aqua's ribs and sends Aqua crashing into the wall, leaving a nice dent in the wall.
"Oh shit," Kinoko Komori said in shock.
"Aqua," Nami said in horror to Aqua as she rushes over to Aqua.
"Meredy, I think your idea is backfiring on us," Dylan thought as Nami helps Aqua to her feet.
"God that hurts," Aqua said in pain as the water balls disappears.
"I'm not letting this water mage get the better of us," Secre said as she holds her hands out.
"Eternal Prison," Secre said as a clear prison was about to close in on Juvia.
"Secre don't," Dylan said to Secre.
"Why not?" Secre asked Dylan.
Then, Juvia turns her body into water and slithers out of the prison before it closes in on her.
"That's why, Juvia is literally made of water, she can turn into water to avoid attacks," Dylan said.
"Fuck," Secre said angrily as Nefertari Vivi looks over at Gray.
"Juvia maybe hard to beat, but not Gray," Vivi said as she pulls out her Peacock Slashers.
Vivi then sway her hips sensually as she walks over to Gray, swinging her slashers.
"Vivi I don't think you should do that," Dylan said to Vivi in a scared tone.
"Gray won't hurt me," Vivi said.
"It's not Gray you should worry about, it's-," Dylan said to Vivi.
"DON'T YOU GO NEAR MY BELOVED YOU HUSSY," Juvia shouted in anger at Vivi, interrupting Dylan in the process.
Juvia was in her water body as she was fuming over her thinking someone would steal her Gray.
"That's what you should worry about," Dylan said to Vivi.
"Take this," Juvia said to Vivi and shoots out a stream of boiling hot water.
Unfortunately, the water hits Vivi in the eyes. Vivi screams in horrible pain as she drops her slashers and falls to the floor, covering her face.
"VIVI," Nami shouted in horror to Vivi as she races over to her.
"Nami it hurts, I can't see," Vivi said to Nami in horrible pain.
"I got to get you away from here," Nami said to Vivi as she drags Vivi away from the area.
Juvia then returns to her normal form as Dylan was nervous and terrified over what happened to Vivi.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Dylan said in a very scared tone.
"You all can't attack Gray and Juvia like this, we need a plan," Dylan said to the girls as he was trying to think of a game plan.
After a minute of thinking, Dylan got an idea.
"Okay this might be crazy but, Secre and Nami, go and try to take out Juvia," Dylan said to Nami and Secre.
"You are crazy," Nami said in a slightly angry tone to Dylan.
"You saw what she did to Vivi," Secre said to Dylan.
"Yeah but what other choice we have," Dylan said to Nami and Secre.
"Fine," Nami said angrily.
"Vivi, I'm going to help Secre," Nami said to Vivi.
"Alright," Vivi said as Nami rushes over to Secre.
Then, Nami and Secre stand side by side as Nami pulls out pieces of her Clima-Tact. Nami then spins her pieces around as hot and cold bubbles float up into the air.
Then, Secre coats her body in mana as her power levels were increased.
"Okay Juvia, prepare to face your maker," Secre said to Juvia.
"Juvia is ready, but you will face defeat at Juvia's hands," Juvia said to Secre.
Nami and Secre then rush over to Juvia, hoping they would take her out. But then, Gray rushes over and tackles Nami to the ground as the other girls were in shock.
"Oh god," Aqua said in horror.
"Gray just tackled Nami," Botan said as Nami gets back on her feet as she puts her Clima-Tact together.
"Oh so you want to play that way huh," Nami said to Gray.
"Okay, let's play," Nami said to Gray as she readies her Clima-Tact.
Nami then swings her Clima-Tact at Gray, but Gray was dodging each swing Nami was doing.
After ten swings, Gray catches the Clima-Tact and pushes Nami to the ground.
"So pathetic," Gray said in a cocky tone as Nami sees an opportunity.
Nami then uses her Clima-Tact and sweeps at Gray's legs, knocking him down onto his back.
"I have taken on way worse and I have felt way worse pain than you'll ever feel," Nami said to Gray as she gets on her feet and raises her Clima-Tact into the air.
Nami then swings her Clima-Tact and it strikes something hard. She looks to see Gray summoned a shield of ice to block the attack.
"What the?" Nami asked in shock as Gray had an evil smile on his face.
"Never underestimate the power of Ice-Make," Gray said to Nami as he stands on his feet.
Gray then uses his shield and pushes Nami to the ground. Then the shield disappears soon after that push.
Gray then puts his hands together, ready to use his Ice-Make abilities at full power.
"Ice-Make: Sword," Gray said as he summons a sword made of ice.
"Ooh a weapons match, I like that," Nami said as she gets back on her feet.
Meanwhile, Secre was trying to punch Juvia, but Juvia was quickly dodging each attack.
"Damn it, this girl is faster than I thought," Secre said quietly as she was trying so hard to punch Juvia.
After twelve punches, Secre tries for another punch to Juvia's ribs. But Juvia turns into water as Secre was trying to find the water elemental.
"Where did you go?" Secre asked Juvia as she was trying to find her.
Then, Juvia turns back to normal and stands behind Secre. Juvia then gets Secre in a full nelson lock as Dylan watches on.
"Shit, Juvia has got a hold of Secre in a full nelson," Dylan said.
"Don't some wrestlers use that hold?" Kinoko asked Dylan.
"Yeah Chris Masters, but more notably Bobby Lashley," Dylan said.
"Secre has watched some of Raw with me, hopefully she knows how to counter a move like that," Dylan thought as he watches on.
"I think I know a way to get out of it," Secre thought as she sees the wall in front of her.
Secre then swings around and then she backs up at a fast speed. Then, Juvia slams her back into the wall, knocking her hat off in the process. But unfortunately for Secre, Juvia still had the hold lock in on her.
"If one time couldn't do it, several more times will," Secre thought and then she continues to slam Juvia into the wall.
"Way to go Secre," Dylan said to Secre.
After eight slams, Juvia lets go of Secre and then Secre turns around to face Juvia.
"Okay my turn," Secre said and then she nails a punch to Juvia's ribs.
Secre then nails a series of stiff forearms to Juvia's forehead.
"Oh Secre is going at it," Botan said.
"Those forearms look hard as hell, that's going to do some damage," Dylan said as he watches what is happening.
After thirteen forearms, Secre stops as she sees blood leaking down near the middle of Juvia's face.
"Not so tough now," Secre said to Juvia and then she nails a knee to Juvia's ribs.
Secre then grabs Juvia by her jacket and tosses her five feet away from the wall.
Secre then rushes over to Juvia, hoping to take her out with a stiff running knee. But Juvia rolls out of the way and Secre misses the attack.
"Damn it," Secre said as she turns around to see Juvia was on her feet.
"Water Cane," Juvia said as she summons a whip made of water.
Juvia then swings her cane as Secre puts her hands out, hoping she would stop the attack. Unfortunately, the cane strikes Secre on her palms and leaves her with a long gash across both of her hands.
"Oh god, fuck, fuck," Secre said in intense pain as she looks at her wounded palms.
"That doesn't sound good," Ristarte said.
"No way," Vivi said.
"This could be very bad for Secre," Dylan said.
The water cane then disappears as Juvia was looking to take advantage of this situation.
"Water Slicer," Juvia said and then several blades of water were heading to Secre.
Then, the water blades hits all over Secre's body which cause Secre to scream in pain and knock over to Nami and Gray.
"Oh god Secre," Nami said in horror to Secre as she sees six four inch long gashes all over Secre's body and blood leaking out from the wounds.
"Out of my way," Gray said to Nami and then he kicks her in the ribs.
Gray then pushes Nami to the ground as the Clima-Tact knocks out of Nami's hands.
Secre then slowly gets on her feet as Gray and Juvia were standing in between her. Gray then raises his ice sword as Dylan knew they needed to stop Gray.
"Oh hell, Gray is going to stab Secre," Dylan said as Kinoko steps forward.
"I'll stop it," Kinoko said.
Then, Kinoko uses her Quirk to sprout out numerous large mushrooms as she hopes this would keep Gray away from Secre.
After a minute, Kinoko stops as Gray could see all the mushrooms surrounding him.
"What the hell?" Gray asked in shock as Nami gets up and sees a perfect opportunity in front of her.
Nami then rushes forward and tackles Gray into one of the mushrooms, knocking the ice sword out of his hands.
"You forgot about me ice stripper," Nami said to Gray and then she jumps away from him.
"This looks bad, they need more help," Dylan said as he felt worried that this won't help the girls.
"Kinoko and Rista, head into the pile of mushrooms," Dylan said to Kinoko and Ristarte.
"Got it," Ristarte said.
"On it," Kinoko said as she rushes into the mushroom pile, while Ristarte summons her wings and flies above the mushroom pile.
"What do you want me to do Dylan?" Botan asked Dylan.
"Hold back, we might need your power," Dylan said to Botan as Botan puts on her Concentration Ring.
Back in the mushroom pile, Nami and Gray try to take each other out with punches and kicks, but they were deflecting their shots with their hands.
Thirty seconds later, Nami tries to nail another kick to Gray, but Gray catches her right foot in time. Gray then slams the foot down and then he nails Nami with a punch to the ribs. The punch was hard enough for Nami to cough up blood.
Gray then nails punches and kicks to all over Nami's body. He then stops after twelve attacks as Nami had some blood leaking from her stomach, forearms, and chest.
"That's all you got, I was a slave to a Fishman, punches like that can't take me down," Nami said to Gray.
"No it's not," Gray said as Kinoko quietly sneaks up behind him.
Kinoko then hops onto Gray's back and wraps her legs around his waist, then she gets Gray in a sleeper hold.
"Oh shit, Kinoko," Nami said to Kinoko in surprise.
"Nami, get the Clima-Tact and take down Gray," Kinoko said to Nami and then Nami picks up her Clima-Tact.
Nami then points her Clima-Tact at Gray as she was nervous to take Kinoko down along with Gray.
"I can't do it," Nami said.
"You have to, this is your perfect chance," Kinoko said to Nami.
"Fine," Nami said as she points her Clima-Tact in the air and lightning is put inside it.
Nami then points the Clima-Tact back at Gray again. She then starts to cough a bit as this prove a perfect moment for Gray.
Gray then puts his hands together as he was about to give Nami some pain.
"Ice-Make: Lance," Gray said as he shoots out some ice lances at Nami.
Once Nami opens her eyes, the lances pierce through her body as Kinoko looks on in horror.
"NAMI," Kinoko shouted in horror to Nami.
Outside the pile, Dylan, Aqua, and Botan sees Nami break through the mushrooms and skid along the cold floor.
"Oh fuck Nami," Dylan said to Nami as he rushes over to her.
Dylan then stands over her as he sees some stab wounds all over her stomach and arms, there was also blood seeping out of those wounds.
"Nami, are you okay?" Dylan asked Nami in concern.
"I don't feel too hot," Nami said weakly.
Dylan then carries Nami in his arms as she still had a hold of her Clima-Tact. He then rushes her back over to Botan and Aqua.
"Aqua, see if you can heal Nami," Dylan said to Aqua.
"I'm on it," Aqua said and then she tries to heal Nami a bit.
Meanwhile, Juvia then uses her Water Slicer attack to slice at the mushrooms, knocking them down.
Gray then tries to escape Kinoko's grasp as Juvia notices.
"Hey get your hands off my beloved," Juvia said angrily to Kinoko.
"Water Slicer," Juvia said as she launches out three more blades towards Gray and Kinoko.
Gray then turns around as the blades hits Kinoko in the back. Kinoko then gasps a bit as she let go of Gray and falls onto the floor as there was three seven inch long, two inch wide gashes on her back and blood seeping out from her wounds.
"Kinoko," Secre said to Kinoko as she was nervous over the damage Kinoko suffered.
"You are going to pay for that bitch," Secre said to Juvia angrily and then she punches Juvia in her left kneecap.
"Ah goddamn it," Juvia said in pain as there was a small gash on her left knee and was dripping out blood.
Secre then tackles Juvia to the floor and gets on top of her. She then starts to nail Juvia with some stiff punches to the face.
When Secre was about to land the tenth punch, she could feel something sharp hit her back.
"Oh god," Botan said in horror as she and Dylan see thirteen arrows sticking into Secre's back as Gray used Ice-Make: Arrows to hit Secre.
Juvia manages to escape Secre's grasp and stands on her feet. She then turns her body into water form and forms this twister.
Juvia then rushes forward and tackles Secre into a wall as Secre could feel the attacks along her body.
Forty seconds later, Juvia stops spinning and returns to normal as Secre had this glazed look in her eyes and blood dripping out of her mouth. Secre then falls onto her stomach as she was convulsing in pain.
"Fuck, Secre," Dylan said in horror to Secre.
"Okay, no more nice goddess," Ristarte said as she flies down towards Gray.
"Rista, don't," Dylan said to Ristarte.
"Big mistake," Gray said as he puts his hands together.
"Ice-Make: Arrows," Gray said as he creates a bow of ice and then he shoots out dozens of ice arrows.
Ristarte tries to dodge the arrows, but unfortunately sixteen arrows hit Ristarte's arms, stomach, and legs, as Ristarte crashes to the floor, face first. After she lands, Ristarte's wings disappear as blood was leaking out of her wounds.
"Oh fuck," Dylan said as he knew this was bad.
"Botan, go," Dylan said to Botan.
"You got it Dylan," Botan said to Dylan as she points her right index finger at Gray.
"Spirit Gun," Botan said as she fires off numerous energy beams at Gray, striking him all over his body.
"Alright, go get him Botan," Dylan said to Botan as Botan continues to fire off Spirit Gun attacks.
After forty Spirit Gun attacks, Botan stops to see Gray had scuff marks all over his body as those attacks took out a good chunk of his energy.
"Alright Botan, finish off Gray so we can take out Juvia," Dylan said to Botan.
"Got it Dylan," Botan said as she charges up her energy.
"Spirit Gun Barrage," Botan said as she fires off a large barrage of energy beams at both Gray and Juvia.
Soon, the beams hit the target as a large puff of smoke was formed from that attack as Dylan and Botan look on.
"Alright Botan, that was so fucking awesome," Dylan said to Botan in an excited tone as Botan smiles a bit over Dylan's compliment.
Botan could feel her energy drop to zero as she felt her head spinning.
"You okay?" Dylan asked Botan as Botan holds her head.
"Yeah, that was one huge attack," Botan said.
Once the smoke clears as they see Gray and Juvia covered by this water dome that Juvia summoned as Dylan was in shock.
"Fuck, fuck," Dylan said angrily as Botan was almost speechless.
"Impossible," Botan said in complete shock as the dome disappears.
"Nope it's possible," Gray said as he and Juvia were ready for the attack.
"Water Rays," Juvia said.
"Ice-Make: Lance," Gray said as he shoots out two ice lances while Juvia shoots out two rays of water towards Botan.
Then the lances hit Botan's stomach, while the rays hits the right side of Botan's chest. Botan then collapses onto the floor as blood was just seeping out of her wounds as Dylan looks on in horror.
"Shit, Botan," Dylan said in horror to Botan as he kneels next to her.
Botan then starts to cough up blood as Dylan lifts her head up.
"You'll be okay, you'll be fucking okay," Dylan said to Botan as he was worried about Botan.
Aqua soon healed Nami enough that her wounds weren't life threatening. She then stands on her feet to see Dylan holding Botan.
"I have to help Dylan," Aqua thought.
Aqua then rushes over to Gray and Juvia as Dylan watches this.
"Aqua stop, this is suicide," Dylan said to Aqua.
"I want to do this, to get you to like me again," Aqua said to Dylan.
"Not like this, you are going to get killed," Dylan said to Aqua.
"Oh you are so foolish," Gray said to Aqua and then these ice blades jutted out from the back of his forearms.
Gray then runs forward and slashes seven times on Aqua, but it didn't seem to effect her. Aqua then stops when she was two inches away from Juvia as Aqua looked beat.
Then, Aqua could feel this sharp pain going throughout her body as she felt like she got slashed by seven swords.
"AHHHHH," Aqua screamed in pain as seven nine inch long, three inch wide gashes appeared along her stomach, arms, thighs, and chest.
Aqua then falls onto her stomach as blood was seeping out from her gashes.
"Oh fuck, no, no, no," Dylan said in a panicked tone as he was left standing.
"Hey fat fuck, take your best shot," Gray said to Dylan in a cocky tone as Dylan was stepping back a bit.
"I can't do this, I can't fight Gray," Dylan said quietly as he stops and was nervous as hell.
"Dylan you must fight Gray," Nami said weakly to Dylan.
"I can't, I'm not a fighter, I don't want to hurt anyone," Dylan said.
"You must Dylan, otherwise we are going to die," Vivi said to Dylan as her eyes were still in pain.
"I'm afraid of getting hurt," Dylan said.
"You survived a model train crash, if you could survive that, you could survive a fight," Vivi said to Dylan.
"I just can't," Dylan said.
"You got to do it Dylan for us, show him you are tough like those Deathmatch guys you love or that idiotic crew from MTV that you enjoy watching," Nami said weakly to Dylan.
"Nami is right, I can't just stand to the side, I need to fight for the girls in my group. Plus showing them that I'm tough like my favorite Deathmatch wrestlers and Johnny Knoxville and crew would be awesome," Dylan thought.
After being nervous for so long, Dylan shakes off the nerves and then he starts to look angry as he knew he needed to fight.
Dylan then takes off his glasses and tosses them to Nami. He then cracks his neck as he was ready to fight with the sound of "Wild Thing" by X playing in his head.
Dylan then walks over to Gray as he was standing a few inches away from him.
"Alright Fullbuster, you want a fight, you got one," Dylan said to Gray as the two guys were in an intense stare down as the fight was about to begin.

Oh things are about to go down in the next chapter. The girls got taken out by Gray and Juvia and it shows that this pair is one not to mess with. Now we have Dylan getting into his first fight and it is with Gray Fullbuster, oh this is going to be nuts.
