Chapter 78: Raining Acid?
Dylan Riley and the girls were looking at Mina Ashido as Mina had an evil smile on her face.
"No way," Dylan said quietly as he taps the right temple on his glasses as it starts to scan Mina.
"You sure that's her?" Nami asked Itsuka Kendo.
"Yes, I recognize that pink skin of hers anywhere," Itsuka said.
Five seconds later, the scan on Dylan's glasses was complete as it was indeed Mina Ashido.
"Oh my god, it really is Mina," Dylan said in shock.
"Oh my god, I can't believe I'm seeing Mina Ashido in the flesh, she's my second favorite girl in Class 1-A, but I can't let my love for her get to me," Dylan thought.
"Her skin is pink, I thought she got a bad sunburn," Nami said to Itsuka.
"I thought the same thing, until I slapped her back and she didn't flinch," Itsuka said.
"Are you all going to gawk and talk at me, or are you all going to face the wrath of Pinky?" Mina asked the group in a cocky tone.
"Is Pinky her hero name?" Secre asked Itsuka.
"Yes, she said she wanted Alien Queen, but it was turned down," Itsuka said.
"Maybe if I talk to Ashido it will snap her out of it," Itsuka said as she steps forward a little.
"That's not a good idea Itsuka," Nami said to Itsuka.
"Yeah this isn't the Mina you know and love," Dylan said to Itsuka but Itsuka was ignoring the comments.
"Ashido it is me Kendo, remember we hanged out together, we are very good friends, despite the rivalry between 1-A and 1-B," Itsuka said to Mina.
"They have a rivalry?" Téa asked Dylan.
"It's a very petty rivalry," Dylan said.
"Please Ashido, snap out of it," Itsuka begged to Mina.
Mina then summons this basketball sized ball of goo.
"Sorry, but you're talking to a wall," Mina said to Itsuka and then she throws the goo ball at Itsuka.
"Itsuka, get back," Dylan said to Itsuka.
Itsuka then hops back as the ball lands in the road, right at the spot where Itsuka was previously standing.
Then, the ball dissolves as a part of the road was destroyed and a crater was left to the shock of the girls.
"What?" Shampoo asked in shock.
"What the hell did she shoot out?" Nami asked in utter shock.
"That's acid," Dylan said as Nami and Téa were a little bit scared.
"Acid," Téa said in a scared tone.
"That's insane," Secre said.
"That's Mina's Quirk, she can shoot out acid from her body and she can control how acidic it can be," Dylan said.
"And apparently it was strong enough to leave that in the road," Nami said as she looks at the crater.
"That's why we have to be careful," Dylan said to the girls.
"What's the plan?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Since your Clima-Tact is upgraded, I want you to use it to take out Mina," Dylan said to Nami.
"Really?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Yes, it should be powerful enough to take down Mina," Dylan said to Nami.
"Already, whatever you say," Nami said to Dylan.
"Not so fast," Mina said as she raises her hands in the air.
"Acid Rain Strike," Mina said as she fires a barrage of rain droplet shaped acid up in the air.
Then, the droplets come rushing down to Dylan and the girls.
"Oh my god run," Dylan said to the girls in a panicked tone.
Dylan and the girls then start to run away as five droplets hits Nami's back.
Soon, Itsuka, Dylan, and Nami were hiding behind a 2000s Ford Mustang, while Secre, Téa, and Shampoo hide behind a mid 2000s Chevy Corvette.
"Did you expect that?" Dylan asked Itsuka.
"No way," Itsuka said in shock.
"Is it bad?" Nami asked Dylan as she shows him five burn marks on her back.
Dylan then shivers a bit as he looks away, which Itsuka notices.
"Dylan what's the matter?" Itsuka asked Dylan.
"I can handle seeing a lot of blood loss, decapitations, disembowelments, and limbs getting chopped off, but seeing burns or flesh eating viruses give me the creeps," Dylan said.
"Oh really, the guy that watches all of that dark shit can't stand this," Nami said to Dylan.
"Well I'm sorry I can't handle it," Dylan said.
Dylan then looks over to Shampoo and the car and he got an idea.
"Shampoo, flip the car over and push it towards Mina, then launch it like a javelin at her, maybe it will cause some damage," Dylan said to Shampoo.
"Shampoo will do it," Shampoo said as she puts her hands on the car she was behind.
Shampoo then flips the car over and still has her hands on it. She then pushes the car forward and towards Mina.
"Oh that car won't protect you," Mina said to Shampoo.
Mina then throws several baseball sized acid orbs at Shampoo, but each shot was hitting the car, luckily it didn't hit any important parts of the car.
Once Shampoo was about ten feet away from Mina, she pushes the car forward as it was heading towards Mina at a fast rate of speed.
"A car won't stop me," Mina said.
"Acid Wall," Mina said and then she summons a small wall of acid in front of her.
The car hits the acid wall as it splits into two pieces. Afterwards, the wall disappears as Dylan and the girls were in shock.
"Holy shit," Téa said in shock.
"Did I just see that?" Nami asked in shock.
"Yeah," Dylan said.
Shampoo couldn't believe what just happened as Mina stood there, looking very confident.
"Lucky Shampoo brought back up," Shampoo said and then she races over to the truck.
"Oh no you don't," Mina said to Shampoo and then she throws several acid balls at Shampoo.
Using her impressive reflexes, Shampoo jumps out of the way of the acid balls.
"Woah, Shampoo has some skills," Téa said in amazement over Shampoo's dodging skills.
"Yeah Shampoo is one agile girl," Dylan said.
Once she was close to the truck, Shampoo leaps over the bed and does a flip. Using her fast reflexes, Shampoo grabs her pair of chúi and lands on her feet with ease.
"When did she bring those?" Itsuka asked Dylan.
"I have no idea," Dylan said in shock.
Shampoo then walks back over to Mina with chúi in hand.
"Nice weapons, too bad they can't handle the power of acid," Mina said to Shampoo as Shampoo was standing four feet away from her.
"Shampoo not afraid of acid," Shampoo said.
Shampoo then rushes over to Mina and swings her chúis at her. But Mina manages to slide, duck, dodge, or do the splits to avoid the attacks.
"I can't believe how fast Mina's reflexes are," Nami said in shock.
"Those dancing skills of hers pay off here," Itsuka said.
"She's a dancer?" Nami asked Itsuka.
"Yeah, it's mostly hip hop and break," Itsuka said.
"That's my type of dancing there," Dylan said.
Shampoo then swings her chúis at Mina again. But then Mina secretes acid from her boots as she slides away from Shampoo.
"What?" Shampoo asked in shock.
Shampoo then jumps out of the way once the acid was getting close to her.
"You want me, try to catch me," Mina said to Shampoo and then she glides along the acid like a skater.
Shampoo then runs towards Mina and continues to swing her chúis at her. But Mina continues to dodge or jump out of the way of the weapons.
"Come on Shampoo, she ain't got shit on you," Secre said to Shampoo.
"Yeah you can't let that alien girl get to you," Nami said to Shampoo.
After nearly two minutes of attacking, Mina sees an opportunity and nails a kick to Shampoo's ribs, causing Shampoo to stumble back.
"Ahh," Shampoo said in pain from the kick.
"Now to show you my special skills," Mina said to Shampoo.
Mina then spins around very fast as dozens of bullet shaped acid projectiles were heading towards Shampoo, Dylan, and the other girls.
Using her fast reflexes, Shampoo manages to dodge the incoming projectiles. Meanwhile, Dylan and the girls see the projectiles coming towards them.
"Oh shit, hit the deck," Dylan said to the girls.
Dylan and the girls duck down as the projectiles hit the car and the buildings behind them.
After the attack, there was several holes in the car and two flat tires, while the buildings were covered in numerous holes.
"Oh thank god," Dylan said as he breathed a sigh of relief.
Itsuka looks over to see the street lamp next to her had several holes and it was starting to tip towards her, Dylan, and Nami.
"Oh god, look out," Itsuka said as she pushes Dylan and Nami back.
Then, the street lamp comes down as it lands on the sidewalk, narrowly hitting Dylan, Itsuka, and Nami.
"Oh fuck," Nami said in shock.
"Oh god that was close, thanks Itsuka," Dylan said to Itsuka.
"No big deal," Itsuka said.
Shampoo then looks at Mina as she wasn't pleased by that attack.
"No one hurt friends," Shampoo said in anger.
Shampoo then rushes over to Mina as she was looking for a big attack to take her out. But Mina was planning an attack of her own.
"That's it, right into my trap," Mina thought as she coats her palms in her acid.
Shampoo then swings her chúis at Mina, but then Mina slaps the top of Shampoo's hands.
"GAHH," Shampoo screams in pain as she feels a burning sensation in her hands.
Shampoo then drops her chúis as she knew her hands were damaged.
"What happened?" Secre asked.
"Mina must have coated her hands in her acid and inflicted some damage to Shampoo's hands," Dylan said.
Shampoo then looks at the top of her hands as she sees they were burned a bit.
"It hurts," Shampoo said in pain.
"Well this will hurt you as well," Mina said to Shampoo as she rushes over to her.
Mina then slaps her acid coated hands on Shampoo's knees, causing Shampoo to scream in pain.
Shampoo then feels a burning sensation in her knees as she knew they were burned as well.
"Now you're done," Mina said to Shampoo and then she nails a spinning kick to Shampoo's face.
The force of the kick sends Shampoo back and she smacks into a window. The window breaks apart as Shampoo flies into an abandoned building.
"Oh my god," Téa said in horror.
"Shampoo," Dylan said to Shampoo in concern.
"Is this normal?" Téa asked in shock.
"Yes," Nami said.
"Alright then, Nami go and use your Clima-Tact to take down Mina," Dylan said to Nami.
"Got it Dylan," Nami said to Dylan as she pulls out her Clima-Tact.
"Hopefully this new and improved Clima-Tact will take down Mina in no time flat," Nami said.
Nami then steps forward and onto the road, looking at Mina.
"Okay Pinky, your skin will become a darker shade of pink when I'm done with you," Nami said to Mina.
"You won't get me down," Mina said to Nami.
Nami then runs around and spins her new Clima-Tact around as several dark clouds were being sent up into the sky.
"Oh so you summoned storm clouds, big deal, that's not going to scare me," Mina said to Nami as the acid was gone from her palms.
"Oh you will be scared," Nami said to Mina as she raises her Clima-Tact in the air.
"Multi-Thunderbolt Tempo," Nami said.
Then, several thunderbolts rain down on Mina. But lucky for Mina, she manages to jump and slide out of the way of the thunderbolts.
"Ha, no thunderbolts can take me down," Mina said in a cocky tone.
Mina then summons a medium size ball of acid and chucks it at Nami.
"Oh shit," Nami said in a scared tone.
Nami was panicking as she was about to get hit by acid. But then, she squeezes the handle as her Clima-Tact and it was now longer, almost the same length as her old Clima-Tact when assembled.
"Oh my god, Usopp you genius," Nami said and then she gets into position, like a batter at a baseball game.
When the acid ball gets close, Nami swings her Clima-Tact and it hits the acid ball. Then the acid ball goes flying into the air and out of the area.
"Oh yeah, home run," Nami said in an excited tone.
Nami then looks at her Clima-Tact as it didn't sustain any damage from the acid.
"Wow I guess Usopp must have made this acid proof," Nami said as she shrinks the Clima-Tact back to normal size.
"Holy shit Nami, that was amazing, those Detroit Tigers ain't got nothing on you," Dylan said to Nami in an excited tone.
"Thanks," Nami said to Dylan and then she sees that Mina was getting pissed off.
"You thought I was done, well I still got more in me," Mina said to Nami and then she summons two medium acid balls.
"Take this," Mina said to Nami and then she throws the acid balls at her.
Nami then ducks down as the acid balls miss her.
"Oh god, that was close," Nami said as she puts away her Clima-Tact.
"Nami needs help, Itsuka and Secre, go and take out Mina, please," Dylan said to Itsuka and Secre.
"Got it," Itsuka said.
"On it," Secre said.
"Mana Skin," Secre said as she uses her spell to coat her body in mana.
"Ooh I feel so powerful," Secre said and then she and Itsuka step forward.
"Ah I see I got some new competition, no matter, I will still defeat the both of you," Mina said to Itsuka and Secre.
"I know you are in there Ashido and I'll get it out of you, even I have to beat your face in," Itsuka said to Mina.
"Bring it on Kendo," Mina said to Itsuka.
Itsuka then rushes over to Mina as she was ready to take her out. She then swings her fists, hoping to knock out Mina.
"Acid Wall," Mina said as she summons a small wall of acid in front of her.
Itsuka then repeatedly punches the acid wall as she hoping her power could break it.
After twenty punches, Itsuka backs up as her knuckles were burned and bleeding a bit.
"Oh damn, such a stupid fucking move," Itsuka said in pain as the acid wall disappears.
"Stand back Itsuka, I got this," Secre said to Itsuka as she races over to Mina.
"Eat acid," Mina said to Secre as she throws six medium sized acid balls at her.
Secre sees the acid balls coming at her as she dodges them at quick speed.
Once she was close to Mina, Secre swings her right leg at her. But Mina ducks down and avoids the kick.
Mina then swings her left fist at Secre, but Secre dodges it as well.
Mina and Secre continue to nail punches and kicks at each other, but they both dodge their attacks.
"My god, these two are dodging at fast speed," Téa said in shock.
"That Mana Skin is highly effective," Dylan said.
Sixty-five seconds later, Secre nails an open palm strike to Mina's stomach, causing the alien girl to get stunned a bit.
"Alright, now is my chance," Secre thought.
Secre then nails four punches to Mina's face, and three punches to Mina's stomach.
Secre then lifts her right leg up and lowers it onto the back of Mina's head, sending Mina face first into the road.
"Oh god," Nami said in shock.
"Yeah, nice one Secre," Dylan said to Secre.
Mina then gets back to her feet, a little bit weaken as some blood was trickling down the middle of her face.
"That's the best you got?" Mina asked Secre as Itsuka was standing behind Mina, her right hand at gigantic size and up in the air.
"Nope," Secre said as she steps back a bit.
Itsuka then swings her right hand down towards Mina. But Mina sees it coming and jumps out of the way as the giant hand slams onto the road.
"Ha, those gigantic hands of yours are no match for my quick speed," Mina said to Itsuka.
Suddenly, a giant dragon claw slams onto Mina, pinning her against the road.
"Holy crap," Itsuka said in shock.
"What just happened?" Secre asked in shock.
Then, Itsuka and Secre look to see Téa standing up and holding her Stone Dragon card. Apparently when Mina dodged Itsuka's attack, Téa somehow summoned a monster to help in this situation.
"Oh my god, I can't believe it, I can't believe I summoned a monster and it wasn't during a duel," Téa said in shock.
"See I told you can do it," Dylan said to Téa as he told her before the attack to summon a monster to help in this situation.
"It did, maybe I'm more useful than I thought," Téa said.
"You are, don't doubt yourself," Dylan said to Téa.
Dylan and Téa then join the girls as Stone Dragon lifts it's claw up as Mina looked like she was down and out.
"I think she is out cold," Téa said.
"Dylan, go over and get that card out of Mina," Nami said to Dylan.
Dylan then takes a few steps forward and then he sees Mina stirring, which means she wasn't out of it yet.
"Oh she's not out cold," Dylan said in shock as he backs up a little.
Mina then gets back on her feet as she looked very beat. There was five small gashes on her back, three medium gashes on her left arm, a long gash on her left arm, and medium gashes on her knees as blood was leaking out of her wounds.
"You can't take down a Pro-Hero in training," Mina said to the group.
"Maybe yes, but not in this case," Nami said as she points her Clima-Tact to the sky.
Then a lightning bolt shoots down into the Clima-Tact.
"Say goodbye Pinky," Nami said to Mina as she points her Clima-Tact at Mina.
"Thunder Lance Tempo," Nami said and then she fires off a lightning bolt at Mina, unlike the previous Thunder Lance Tempo, this one was way more powerful.
The bolt was coming at Mina at a fast rate of speed as this looked like this was going to finish off Mina.
"I'm not going down like this," Mina said quietly as she crosses her arms in an "X" shape.
"Acidman," Mina said.
Then the bolt hits Mina with so much force as it was knocking her back a bit.
After twenty seconds, the attack stops as Mina was covered in a cloud of dust.
"Yes," Nami said in an excited tone as it looked like that attack finished off Mina for good.
Fifteen seconds later, the dust clears as Nami was in utter shock over what she saw next.
"What the hell?" Nami asked in shock over the scene.
What Nami saw was that Mina was standing and knocked seven feet back. What made this even more shocking was that Mina's body was covered in acid, protecting her from the attack.
"Are you kidding me?" Téa asked in complete shock.
"It can't be," Itsuka said in shock.
"Behold my new move, Acidman, all your attacks are no match against this new form," Mina said to the group.
"Dylan, what do we do now?" Nami asked Dylan.
"I have no idea, but I think we need to go all out if we want to get that card out of Mina," Dylan said.
Dylan and the girls look on at Mina as they know this new technique Mina had summoned was going to be difficult for them.

It seems this battle isn't looking good for Dylan and the girls, knowing of Mina's Acidman technique. But then again, they faced worse and it shouldn't faze them too much.
Oh by the way, at the end of the next chapter I will make an announcement regarding the story, it is nothing bad just a little update.
