DJ's pov
Me and Superboy were relaxing and watching some S.W.A.T. TV show when all of a sudden the TV switched to a view from a helicopter.
"And as you can see, we are here over the Metropolis bridge. One of the support lines has snapped and disturbed traffic. A school bus and two cars are hanging over the side as first responders are trying to figure out how they can safely evacuate everyone" the anchorman said as the camera zoomed in on the vehicles that were barely hanging on.
I looked over at Superboy who turned to me and smiled. We both got up and ran to the Zeta-Tube. I already had my costume on, but I didn't have my mask with me. But my uniform did have a hood.
"Lad, we're just heading to Metropolis for a minute!" I yelled to Aqualad as we left. The rest of the team were playing air hockey for four.
"Uh okay, be safe" Aqualad called out as the white light filled my vision. Having a month to myself and another week with no action, I had time to study where the Zeta-Tubes were in different cities.
We entered an alleyway phone booth and for a second Superboy looked confused until I slapped his shoulder slightly.
"This way!" I yelled throwing my hood up. I directed us until we got to the end of the bridge. Superboy then grabbed my collar and jumped to the scene.
We landed with a thud that shook the bride lightly, but it stayed standing. I looked over and seen that one of the cars was right beside the school bus.
"You take that car and the bus. I got this one" I commanded. He nodded and ran to the car.
I ran to mine and dug my claws into the back of the car to stop it from falling any further.
"Come on!" I yelled through the broken back window. I didn't look up because I didn't want them to see my face, but I looked up slightly. Inside were two parents and one baby in the back.
"We can't the door's stuck!" the mother yelled from the passenger seat as to prove that the father slammed his shoulder into the door. I nodded and looked ahead. The large concrete dividers that they use on the edges of the bridge were against the doors.
"Okay, get the baby and get ready to climb out the driver's side!" I yelled as I felt my feet slipping. The two unbuckled and the mother grabbed the baby. They looked at the me and nodded.
I sliced the divider until it was broken enough for me to break it with my foot. However that seemed to be the one of the one things that were holding the car in place the most.
"Come on!" I yelled as the driver opened the door and the wife handed him the baby. He came out and I grabbed him and lifted him onto a sturdy part of the bridge.
I did the same with his wife and then let the car fall into the water below. They were all fine, a little banged up but fine. They thanked me and went over to the EMT.
I looked over to see how Superboy was faring. I seen him talking with Superman but the man of Steel didn't look happy. I knew that they had a strained relationship Superboy being a clone without Superman's permission. I walked over and caught the end of a conversation.
"Well, maybe you could, you know, help me figure that out" Superboy said. I assumed they were talking about his powers. Superman looks away before finally replying.
"Batman's got that covered" he said simply. I held my tongue at that, but it was tough. Like it or not he's here and there's only so much that Batman can do not being a Kryptonian.
"I know, but-" Superboy tries, just as Superman's communicator beeps.
"Superman" he responds instantly, cutting Superboy off. "Wait, Arrow. Slow down. What's attacking?" he asks. he then listens to Arrow's reply.
"No, I'm definitely available. Coordinates?" he says, not even glancing at Superboy.
"Acknowledged; on my way" only then does he turn back to Superboy. "Sorry, Super... boy" he said.
"Duty calls" he then takes off without another word. I walked next to Superboy and put a hand on his shoulder while retracing my claws. He waited for a moment before he shrugged it off and we walked off of the bridge.
Along the way however he gave me a sideways glance.
"Hey, why didn't you retract your claws?" he asked. Confused I looked down and seen my one claw on my left hand was still out halfway.
I gave my hand a shake and tried again, but it still didn't go in. I looked over at Superboy who was looking at me with a concerned look.
I tilted my hand and put the claw on the ground. I then pushed down with all my might and the claw finally retreated into my knuckle. I gave my hand a shake and kept walking. Now that's happened to me... once.
We came through the Zeta as M'gann was about to ask something, but I silenced her with a few gestures.
I heard someone clear their throat behind Wally. We all looked and seen Black Canary and J'onn walking towards us.
"Ready for training?" Black Canary asked as M'gann ran up and hugged her uncle. I walked up and shook Black Canary's hand. She looked a little hurt but shook it. I knew that it hurt her, me keeping her and Green Arrow further away, but it was best for everyone.
Black Canary never told me when she would be training us as to not allow me to have an advantage knowing when she was coming
"Hello M'gann. I was in the neighborhood and figured I'd come see and how you're adjusting" J'onn said. M'gann shrugged and stepped back.
"A few bumps here and there, but I'm learning" she said. I noticed Superboy was trying to sneak away.
"That is all I ask" Manhunter said. I then seen Black Canary see Superboy's attempt at leaving.
"Stick around, class is in session" she said. He stopped and crossed his arms over his chest.
"I consider it an honor to be your teacher. Like I did with Razor, I'll throw a lot at you. Everything I've learned from my own mentors" she said taking off her jacket before wincing. I had a moment of weakness and went to help her. But she just shrugged me off, acting tough.
"And my own bruises" she continued. I stood next to the team as M'gann stepped forwards.
"What happened?" she asked. Black Canary just looked at her with a straight face.
"The job" she answered. "Now, combat is about controlling conflict. Putting the battle on your terms. You should always be acting, never reacting" she tells them, before lightening her tone slightly.
"I'll need a sparring partner" she said. I raised my hand, but she shook her head.
"No, someone who has not sparred with me. Someone who doesn't know my moves" she said as Wally raised his hand.
"Yep, right here" he said eating the rest of his banana and throwing the peel out. "And after this, I'll show you my moves" he said.
I face-palmed as Black Canary just smirked. She throws a quick jab, which he blocks, but finds his feet being taken out from under him, before even he can react. He hits with a thud that causes M'gann to look on worriedly, Kaldur to lean back, me to laugh slightly, Superboy just kept quiet and Robin to frown with confusion.
"Oh that hurts" he said laying on the ground as 'Kid Flash fail' in red letters showed up underneath him.
"Nice block" she commented giving him a hand up. "But did anyone see what he did wrong?" she asked.
"Ooh ooh, he hit on the teacher and got served" Robin guessed. I laughed and high-fived him as Wally groaned.
"Dudes" he complained as Black Canary just smirked.
"He allowed me to dictate the terms of-" she begins, but is cut off as Superboy scoffs.
"Oh please" Canary arches an eyebrow as turns her head to look over her shoulder at annoyed Superboy.
"With my powers, the battle is always on my terms. I'm a living weapon" he said turning away.
"And this is a waste of my time" he said going to walk away. She just smirked yet again and turned to him.
"Prove it" she said. I seen Superboy raise his eyebrow as he smirked and entered the ring. Me and Kaldur helped Wally out of the ring as the two squared off. I walked over to Kaldur and lightly tapped his shoulder.
"If he goes off the rails, you and me gotta restrain him" I said. He looked confused, but nodded as we watched the two.
Both dropped into a fighting stance at the same time. Superboy comes in with a cross, that Canary takes a singular step back from. Giving her plenty of time to reach out with both hands, grab his forearm and throw him across the ring. Where he lands on his butt, then to his back.
Robin points and laughs until Aqualad elbows him in the side. He doesn't stop laughing, but covers his mouth with his gloves. Meanwhile I just cringe, knowing how angry he can get and how fast he can get it.
I heard him snarled as the red letters said 'Superboy fail' underneath him.
"You're angry" she merely states, standing calm. "Good, but don't react. Channel that anger-"
Superboy gets to his feet and charges at her with a yell and another punch. She jumps up and uses his shoulders to flip over him. Landing closely behind him, but still able to see him out of the corner of her eye. As he turns to hit her with a back fist she drops taking his feet out from under him.
I wince, M'gann flinches back, Robin muffles his own laughs, Aqualad looks worried and Kid Flash frowns. She put out her hand to help him out. He just got up without it.
"That's it, I'm done" he said. My Guardian's face went into a scowl.
"Training is mandatory" Canary says as he starts to walk away, placing a hand on his shoulder, which he turns towards her as he shakes it off. His rage flowing in his eyes. But before anything else can happen, the holoscreeen opens up.
"Batman to the Cave" he said as everyone rushed to stand in front of the screen.
"A new menace attack Green Arrow and Black Canary. The attacker was capable of studying, the duplicating the powers and abilities of its opponents" he said as a video started.
The guy was shirtless with orange hair with orange pants. Superman went in for a punch only for the guy to grab his fist. The guy then used him to take out Red Tornado and Flash before throwing Superman away. He then took out two Batarangs before they did any damage to him.
"Arrow called for reinforcements. Which nearly proved disastrous as our foe gained more and more power with each new combatant" Batman added.
"Whoa" Wally said. "One guy with the powers of the entire League" he said in shock. Everyone looked nervous, even Superboy though he tried his best not to show it when I turned to him.
"In the end, it took eight Leaguers four hours to defeat and dismantle the android" Batman said as me and Robin perked up.
"An android? Who made it, T.O. Morrow" Robin guessed. I studied the screen shot of the android.
"Good guess Robin" Batman said. "But Red Tornado doesn't think so."
"The technology bares resemblance to Professor Ivo" Manhunter said.
"Ivo?" Kaldur questioned confused. "But Ivo's dead" he said as Black Canary turned towards him.
"That's what we all thought. Or hoped" she said. turning back to the screen.
"To make certain this threat is permanently neutralized. We're sending two trucks carrying the Android's parts to two separate STAR Labs facilities. One in Boston and one in New York" he said.
"For immediate evaluation. Every precaution is being taken. We'll have four additional trucks to create confusion in case Ivo or anyone tries to recover the remains. You will split into undercover teams to safeguard the two real trucks" Batman said as me, Robin and Wally got exited.
"Sweet road trip" he said as we high-fived. But Black Canary immediately looked at us with a 'really' look.
"So now we take out your trash?" Superboy said glaring. However Batman was better as glares.
"You had something better to do?" he questioned. Superboy looked away as Aqualad's communicator went off.
"Coordinates received. On our way" he said as the team ran off excitedly. Except me and Superboy. Superboy went to walk away when his arm was grabbed by Black Canary.
"When you're ready I'll be here" she said. He shrugged her hand off. I sighed as he walked to the hanger.
"Eh give him time" I said coming to my adopted Guardian's side. "Remember how I was?" I said remembering when she first started training me. She smiled and nodded.
"At least he didn't go through a shed wall" she said as I laughed slightly. When me and her trained it was in the backyard and back then I was exactly like Superboy. Mad that I could be beaten so easily when I was created to be unstoppable. Long story short, we discovered that if I get too angry I fly into a battle mode and try to kill everything in sight that I think is a threat. The good thing is that when I'm like that I can still tell good guys from bad guys
"Well I better catch up" I said only to have my arm grabbed. I looked up and seen her worried face.
"Just be careful out there today. Alright?" she said. I smiled and nodded.
"Don't worry B.C. I already faced an evil android plus a Venom dealing strong man" I said running off. But because of my inhuman hearing I was able to hear her whisper.
"I mean on the bikes" she said as I turned around. I seen Manhunter put an hand on her shoulder, but he had a smile on his face. It took me a minute to process this but then I did. I got a bike!
I ran to the hanger and seen that everyone was on their own bikes. Their's were all Sports bikes. Aqualad's was a deep Violet. M'gann's was a lighter shade of Purple. Kid's was yellow, Robin's was red and Superboy's was red and black
But when I entered Wally shot me a sorry/haha look.
"Sorry man, but we got the good ones" he said. Confused I walked down the line of bikes until I got to the last one next to Superboy's.
It was an older model Harley Davidson. it was black in colour and had ape hanger handlebars. It also had two black bags on each side of the back wheel. I smiled and ran my hand along it. I then turned back to the others still with a smile.
"I guess I'll take it" I said putting on the helmet. While they all had full head helmets mine was a common biker helmet. Only a top helmet where it only covers the top of my head.
We had about fifteen minutes till we roll out so I went over to the place where we kept all the paint and that. I smiled and grabbed the orange paint.
We all now sat beside the side of the road with our bikes. Wally hadn't stopped giving me a glare since we got half way to the coordinates. I painted my bike so that it had orange flames on the gas tank and gave my helmet three claw marks like my suit.
But the reason Wally was mad was that since everyone could see my face and we were in civilian clothes, I got most of the looks from the girls who watched us ride by and the others mostly looked at Superboy.
So when we first got here, he wanted to switch bikes. I told him no and that I would carry the burden of having the out of date bike.
However my smile soon left my face as I seen Superboy looking at Superman who was looking back at him for a brief second. He then looked away as Superboy looked down and put his helmet on.
"STAR Boston is a go" was put over the comms as three trucks close their back-gates.
"STAR Manhattan is go" Green Arrow nods, then looks to Batman who gives the signal.
The trucks pull out in two opposite directions. Robin, me and Superboy following the ones going right, while Kid Flash, Aqualad, and M'gann follow the three going left.
We watched as two of the trucks turned off of the highway, while the one carrying the parts kept going straight. Robin then pulled up next to me and Superboy.
"If dislike is the opposite of like, is disaster the opposite of aster? See, if things are going wrong, they go right" he asked. I shook my head.
"Come on man. I'm not a genius, don't make my head hurt" I said as Superboy just stayed silent.
"Uh, clearly he's not feeling the aster. What's wrong?" he asked Superboy.
"Canary" he said simply. "What business does she have teaching combat skills to a guy with super-strength?" he questions.
''You think that's bad you should see how I... How Black Canary taught me" I quickly said stopping myself from revealing something bad. But luckily they didn't notice.
"Plus taking down stronger guys is part of the gig" Robin states simply. "Canary learned that the hard way. Same with Batman and, well, me" however Superboy just reved his engine and zoomed up closer to the truck. Robin sighed and followed him. I was about to follow until pure pain shot through my hands almost causing me to swerve off the road.
I shook it off and kept on the road. But it was weird. I was used to pain. My claws when they come out, they don't tickle. So I was very used.
I shook it off and sniffed the air like I had done every mile or so. Only this time I smelled something off. Motor oil, metal and some human scent.
"Hey heads up. Something's coming!" I yelled as suddenly green and black robots came out of nowhere and started attacking the truck.
"Robin, Razor, Superboy. Our truck is under attack" Kaldur's voice said through my earpiece.
"Yeah, Razor beat you to the punchline" Robin said as the monkeys continued to attack the truck.
"I hate monkeys" Superboy said as Robin just examined the monkeys.
"Robot monkeys" Robin says, his excitement showing before he laughs and gets serious. "Totally Ivo's tweaked style"
Suddenly a drone came out of Robin's bike and started blasting the monkeys. He laughed.
"Hey, hey switch your bikes to battle mode" he said. But Superboy just kept staring dead ahead.
"No point" he said jumping off his bike and onto the truck. Without a rider his bike crashed and took out Robin's bike as well. I avoided it as Robin used a grappling hook and got onto the truck roof as well.
'Battle mode' I thought looking around the handlebars. Then I seen it a red button. I pressed it and suddenly I had a visor in front of my eyes coming from my helmet.
It then showed the truck in front of me on the green screen as I felt my handlebars driving on their own and the accelerator keeping it's speed.
I then felt the left handlebar go up right on a forty-five degree angle. Almost like a joystick. I then seen a circle crosshairs like a rifle scope had.
"Yes please" I said targeting the robots. I then hit a button on the top of the handle. I felt my seat shift as I blasted a robot out of the sky with an orange beam
"YEAH! WHAT YOU GOT BITCHES? WHAT YOU GOOOOTTT? HAHAHA!!" I yelled shooting like a machine gun. However I seen some monkeys shoot a laser in Superboy's eyes. That has to hurt a guy with super-vision
I then seen several monkeys grab a temporary blinded Superboy and lift him into the air.
I quickly aim my gun and fired at the monkeys blasting them off his shoulders. he then started to fall. I quickly grabbed my accelerator and brought it out of auto.
I turned around and caught Superboy on the back of my bike. I had to fight for control of the fishtail that followed but I eventually got it.
"You alright?" I asked as he nodded and rubbed his eyes. I then floored it getting back to Robin who was alone. Once we were close enough, Superboy jumped off and landed on the roof of the truck. Now mad.
I went to resume shooting but I noticed that the monkeys were blasting the lugnuts on the tires and it was too late for me to do anything.
"TIRES!" I yelled pulling next to Robin, who nodded and looked into the truck through the windshield.
"Get out!" he yelled to the driver. Robin opened the door as I got next to the driver's side of the truck. He pulled the driver out and threw him onto my bike. The driver landed in my lap. Robin then jumped as well just as the tire came off. he landed on the back of my bike.
I quickly put on the brakes as the truck flipped with Superboy still on it. But because he was a Kryptonian he could handle it.
I stopped and let the driver off as me and Robin sped ahead. However we were too late as the robots came out of the truck with the cargo. Superboy came out from underneath the truck and roared. He then took off after the monkeys.
"Robin we lost our cargo did you-" "Yeah us too" Robin said interrupting as we watched Superboy jump in the cornfield after the robots.
"And so is our partner. I'll let you guess which one" he added.
"Superboy radio your location. We'll help you" Kaldur tried.
"Don't need help. Don't want any" he said as I heard the sound of something dropping over the communicator.
"Superboy? Superboy?" Kaldur said as the sound of him jumping got further and further away. I decided to weigh in.
"I think he ditched his comms" I said. We had tracking chips inside the earpieces. So without it on him, we can't track him.
"Super now we can't even track him" Wally said annoyed. I sniffed the air and was able to catch Superboy's scent.
"You can't, I can. I can track him and radio our location as we go" I said as Robin hopped off the bike.
''alright, but be careful'' Kaldur said. I looked over at Robin, who quickly grabbed a downed monkey and hopped back on.
I floored it down the road and turned right, the same direction as Superboy went. Suddenly a thought came to my mind and I quickly stopped.
''Razor, you're tracker says you stopped. Have you located Superboy" Kaldur asked.
"No not exactly, but I just thought of something" I said as Robin kept doing whatever he was doing with the monkey. "This android, if assembled, can take the powers of anyone, who tries to beat it in combat."
''Yeah, but it already has eight League member's powers. Most of whom are our mentors. So it wouldn't do it any good taking them from us. Now can we talk about this later Superboy is probably taking on the guy right now" Wally said interrupting me.
"Okay, well let's circle back to that when we get there and if assembled, this thing steals my healing powers" I said as the others went silent and Robin stopped working on whatever he was doing.
"Oh" Wally said catching on. "It'll be invincible" he said.
"Okay, pursue but don't engage. Hopefully we can secure the parts before Ivo or whoever rebuilds the android" Kaldur said.
"Alright, we're heading south now towards Gothem" I said driving again.
"That far south? M'gann and I will not make it. I'm sending Kid ahead to meet with you" Kaldur said.
"So what are you doing back there?" I asked. Robin smiled as the back of the robot's back was open.
"Well, we'd have heard by now if the decoy trucks had been attacked. The monkeys knew to target these trucks" he paused as I felt my watch buzz. A hologram then appeared as I seen a red blip on the map.
"GPS?" I said guessing. "Don't think that this makes you a backseat driver" I said as we headed to Gothem.
"Whoa, whoa. Stop!" Robin said as I slammed on both breaks. We skidded and stopped near the southern part of Gothem. Just then, Wally, now Kid Flash showed up next to us.
"Hey, no costumes?" he asked. I gestured to the bike.
"No room to get into character" I said dramatically. I looked back at Robin who was watching his wrist hologram
"According to this, the parts are on the move. They were heading through Gotham, but they veered. Wait a minute, they're at my school!" he said. I smiled and sped to the blip on my map.
"First one to find a picture and a name of Robin wins!" I yelled as Kid Flash zoomed next to us, smiled and zoomed ahead of us.
We arrived at Gothem Academy and Kid ran in as did Robin, who was already getting his suit out of his backpack. I sighed and pushed my communicator.
"Aqualad, it's Razor. We're at Gothem Academy. Kid and Robin are making contact along with Superboy. But um, what do I do?" I asked getting my hood up. I didn't have my costume because I wasn't raised a sidekick and didn't have one on me at all times.
"Secure the area. Even the roof, Make sure any and all civilians are out of harm's way" Aqualad said. "Me and M'gann are still seven minutes out. But we are trying" he said. I sighed and looked at the roof before digging my claws into the side and began climbing up. The school was already damaged enough.
Once I got to the top, I noticed that this school had a skylight. I looked in and seen the android was in the gymnasium and so was Superboy, Kid Flash and Robin. While I was watching I sniffed the air and smelled another scent with me on the roof.
It was feminine and it was close. I went to turn around, but immediately found a pointy object slightly pushing into the back of my neck.
"You so much as fart and I will drop you" a feminine voice said behind me. I raised my hands slowly and kept them there.
Third person view
Artemis, dressed in a grey hooded sweater, looked over the hooded guy. She had just been sitting on top of her building as she did most nights ever since she started fighting crime. Then she heard loud crashes coming from the school. Not her school, but the fancy one across town
Once she got to the school, she expected to find a few teenagers from her school vandalizing the rivals. Which she was okay with, but still it was a crime.
"No spray paint, crowbar, bat? What kind of vandalizing are you doing?" she asked. DJ looked down to see how they were doing only to see them being thrown around like rag dolls.
Ivo was sitting on the benches watching his creation play with the heroes like a dog with several toys. Suddenly he looked up and seen a figure through the skylight.
"Ah at least someone is smart enough to avoid my amazing Amazo" he said before looking at his MONQI bots.
"MONQIS, destroy him" he said pointing up. The bots looked up and laughed before activating their jet packs.
"Uh we need to move" DJ said seeing the incoming bots. Artemis didn't say anything, but she did dig the arrow slightly more into his neck, wordlessly telling him not to move.
'Why do they always make me do this' DJ thought before drop-kicking Artemis in the gut knocking her back. When he did she fired the arrow and it went into his neck. Luckily she missed his spine so it wouldn't take that long to heal.
He then threw himself on the downed girl to protect her from the shattering glass that erupted not seconds after his feet left the ground.
Meanwhile, Artemis was in shock. This guy wasn't vandalizing the school and he even protected her. And she killed him!
'Oh my god, what if it's Robin' she thought going to pull his hood back. Suddenly DJ stood up and wrenched the arrow from his neck. He then threw it onto the ground and unsheathed his claws.
'Okay, so this guy can survive an arrow to the throat and had claws that come out of his skin' Artemis thought as a MONQI shot a laser at DJ only to have him shoot it back at the robot as it reflected off of his claws.
'Oh and he can bounce lasers off said claws' she added before quickly getting up and back-flipping away from a laser. She shot an arrow at a MONQI which exploded on impact.
DJ smiled. Now that he didn't have to worry about her, he can focus on destroying the bots. He then began slashing and slicing every bot that came near him.
Artemis shot as many bots as she could but it wasn't hard to get overwhelmed with only a bow. A bot came up behind Artemis and prepared it's laser eyes. She turned around and closed her eyes, deciding that she was too slow to do anything.
Suddenly the bot found itself with three claws in it's head, shorting out the laser. DJ then threw the bot into another bot before slashing the others.
Artemis tried to help him and shot a bot. But it was too close to her and the explosion knocked her back to the skylight.
She looked inside and seen that there was Kid Flash, Robin and some guy in a black shirt that she didn't know. They were all fighting an android, who kept repeating the names of a few superheroes and then using their powers.
Attempting to catch him off-guard, Kid Flash ran at Amazo, who turns and uses his large hands to easily grasp Kid Flash's upper arms.
"Superman" Amazo says, grabbing the ginger in a bone crushing hug. Artemis reach into her quiver, but found she only had one arrow left.
'Better make it count' she thought shooting the arrow. The android looked up at the sound of the bowstring snapping.
"Martian Manhunter" he said as he went intangible and the arrow went through him, dropping Kid Flash as he did. Artemis smiled before turning to the other guy.
He seemed to be doing okay fighting the bots. He only had about a dozen left. She then left and jumped off the building into the trees on the other side.
"Oh yawn" Ivo said doing a fake yawn. "Normally Amazo would study and mimic your abilities during battle, but what's the point? You're all such poor copies of the originals" he said, his remaining MONQIS laughing, rubbing salt in the wound. Superboy got up from rubble that once was a bench and looked at Ivo then at Amazo.
"Access Black Canary" he said before turning his smile into a snarl.
"So everyone keeps saying. It makes me ANGRY!" he said jumping at Ivo who moved out of the way just in time. Superboy landed on the bleachers, smashing the spot that Ivo was.
"Wanna see me channel that anger!" he yelled at Ivo. Kid Flash and Robin looked up from their downed position and seen what was happening.
"Great. He's gone ballistic again" Kid said. Robin however was catching on to what the clone was doing.
"Maybe not" Robin said smiling.
"Amazo, protect your master. Priority Alpha" Ivo commands, diving further down the bleachers to avoid getting crushed by Superboy.
"Captain Atom" Amazo dictates, pointing a hand in Superboy's direction. Hitting Superboy once more, sending him flying back. As the remaining MONQIs help Ivo back to his feet.
"Anyone want to play keep-away?" Robin questions, before kicking Ivo in the back and sending him pitching forward since his feet weren't on the ground.
Amazo's attention turns to Robin.
"Oh oh, me, me!" Kid Flash yells, running on the other side of Amazo and catching its attention.
"Access Superman" the android says just as Kid Flash gets in front of him. Lifting his left foot and stomping it to catch underneath Kid Flash's last step towards Ivo. Sending the speedster up and high into the bleachers, upside down.
Robin stands from a crouch, throwing a diskat Amazo's head. Reacting Amazo dictates.
"Martian Manhunter" turning intangible, just as he does Superboy jumps down and aiming a punch at Amazo.
"Superman" the android dictates. Though he turns tangible just as Superboy's hand goes through his head. His face begins to spark and zap blue electricity before exploding and knocking Superboy back.
The headless body falls flat to the ground with a clanging thud. Robin runs up to the body.
"Help me disassemble him now!" Though out of the three, he's in the best shape, Kid being unsteady on his feet and Superboy not even being back on his yet from the explosion.
"Dude he has no head" Kid said. Just then the doors swung open and Aqualad and M'gann ran into the gym.
"Do not take any chances" Aqualad said. M'gann landed beside Superboy to steady him if necessary.
"Superboy, are you alright?" she questions, noting the amount of damage done to his skin. However, Superboy smiles.
"Fine" he assures, then looks to Robin. "Feeling the aster" Robin smiles right back.
"Hey." Kid Flash says, gaining their attention. "Where's Ivo?" he said around them the gym is still smoking in some places from the battle, but Ivo is nowhere to be seen.
"Um where's Razor?" M'gann said noticing the razor-clawed teen's absence. Suddenly another part of the skylight was shattered and a MONQI head was thrown through and landed next to Amazo.
"Hey, did we win?" DJ asked looking down.

"The Amazo android is in again safely being analyzed at the two separate STAR Labs but Ivo escaped, and since he originated the tech, he's arguably more dangerous than the Android" Aqualad informs the leaguers who were present.
"Capturing the professor will a League priority" Canary informs.
"But we understand that your mission encountered other complications" Martian Manhunter states, crossing his arms. Aqualad, Robin, and Kid Flash glare at Superboy, who has the decency to look away. Razor however stood in front of him and glared back, letting his team know that he would defend his actions. Batman decided to step up before a fight broke out.
"Complications come with the job. Your ability to handle them has impressed the League" this caught Superboy's attention.
"The whole League?" Superboy asks, knowing the answer.
"Given time, yes" Batman assures instantly. "Kryptonians, as you know, have very hard heads" Superboy can't stop the small smile that crept onto his face as DJ put him in a headlock.
"Of course, there's no shame in asking for help. That's why the League exists. Because there's some problems even we can't handle individually" he added as the Robin and Kid Flash remembered something.
"Please" Robin draws. "If we needed help, we'd never get the chance to ask" Kid Flash closes his eyes, knowing exactly what he means. Robin pulls out the arrow.
"Look familiar?" he lets Batman take it from him. "You were following us" he accuses "Babysitting! YOU STILL DON'T TRUST US!" Ignoring Robin's accusations, Batman passes the arrow to Green Arrow.
"We didn't follow you" Green Arrow pulls an arrow out of his quiver, holding them side by side. The tip and shaft are noticeably different than the one Robin handed over. Robin's eyes widen.
"And that's not your arrow…" Looking between the two again and smiling. "But that means-" Kid Flash, smiling brightly, cuts off the Boy Wonder.
"Speedy!" he said excitedly.
"He has our backs" Aqualad agrees as Kid Flash runs and takes the arrow from Green Arrow.
"Souvenir!" he said as Batman and Green Arrow share a look, but don't comment. DJ however chose to now step in.
"Sorry, but it wasn't Speedy" he said shocking the the team as well as the leaguers.
"It was some girl. Didn't really get a good look at her face, but I did see her fire that arrow into the gym" he said as the three sidekicks faces seemed to drop. DJ sighed before rubbing the back of his head.
"Look Roy... Me and him ain't always seen eye to eye on things. But I did get to know him. He's stubborn, arrogant and his ego needs a punch. But he always talked about you guys like you were brothers. He'll come round and even if he doesn't, he'll always have your backs" DJ said as Canary and Green Arrow cracked a smile.
Superboy clears his throat and steps up to Black Canary. Catching her slightly off-guard as she turns to him curiously.
"I'm ready" he said. She smiled.
"Good. Because I'm here" Black Canary assures, placing her hand on her hip as she looks him in the eye.

DJ snored slightly as he slept in his bed. suddenly in his sleep his nose picked up a scent. It was close. Very close.
He forced himself awake and immediately swung his leg off the bed, only to have it blocked by a forearm. He unsheathed his claws and prepared for a heavy attack.
"Razor" a dark voice said before the young hero could act. DJ dropped his defensive stance and relaxed.
"You know I have a communicator, right?" he asked putting his claws away. Batman and Green Arrow both in costumes stepped out of the darkness. Green Arrow was further back than the Dark Knight.
"Told ya Dinah wasn't kidding when she said he nearly cut her in half" Arrow said. Batman ignored this and stepped forwards.
"Back in June, at the Hall. You said you could track the sidekicks and all you needed was their scent, was that correct?" Batman asked. DJ sat up on his bed.
"Yeah, I was tracking Superboy on the way to Gothem until Robin got the part's GPS working" he said. Batman just opened the closet and threw DJ his suit, which landed on his head.
"Suit up" he said exiting the room with Green Arrow.
Gothem Academy 1:56 am august 5th
DJ looked around the school roof. It was closed for a few weeks due to the damage to... well everywhere. DJ found where the girl was standing when he first encountered her. He put his hand on the ground and wiped the area. He then brought his hand up to his nose and breathed in deeply. Her scent was still there, faintly. But it was enough for him to get what he needed.
"Female, age 15. Half-Caucasian and half-Vietnamese. One hundred and thirty eight pounds" DJ paused to blow a blonde strand of hair out of his nose.
"Glossy hair, too much conditioner" he said standing up and taking another whiff. He then jumped off the roof and into the trees, tracking her like a dog on a rabbit. Meanwhile the two Leaguers were behind him. Green Arrow looking shocked and Batman looking well normal.
"I'll never understand how he does that" Green Arrow said looking at Batman. "What does Vietnamese even smell like?" he asked. Batman just looked at him before taking off the same way. Green Arrow sighed and rushed after him.
They found Razor on a roof looking at a building. They walked next to him as he pointed to a building.
"That one" he said as Batman nodded.
"Thank you Razor. Normally I would've used cameras to find her, but she is very skilled in avoiding them. That'll be all" Batman said. but DJ didn't move.
"No" he said. he then stood and crossed his arms over his chest as the Dark Knight stood up tall and met his gaze.
"Not until I know what you're gonna do with her" he said worried for the young heroine's safety. Green Arrow decided to help Bats out and placed a hand on his adopted son's shoulder.
"I promise you Razor. she will be fine. We just need to talk with her mother about something" he said. DJ sighed but went to leave the roof of the building.
"I'll be checking on her in a few days from the rooftops. If she ain't fine, I'm coming to you for some answers" he said jumping down the fire escape. Batman looked at Green Arrow.
"Don't look at me, he gets that from Dinah" Green Arrow said as the two looked back at the house.
