It was August 21st, 2016. A car was speeding down a neighborhood road. A sixteen-year-old boy was driving without a license. A girl, two years younger than him, was trying to stop him.
"OAKES I SWEAR TO F-CKING GOD! STOP THE CAR YOUR GONNA KILL US!!"
She yelled at the alleged 'Oakes' to stop. Oakes only said back, his voice raised and his breath smelling of alcohol.
"NO! I….CAN DRI…VE GOOD! BA-ACK OFF LUNA!"
It was obvious he was drunk. One, drinking underage. Two, driving without a license. Three, illegal acts in one if you consider the car stolen. Luna continued to try and grab the wheel away from Oakes but…
《CRASH》
The windows were shattered, and the headlights were blindingly bright. The car they ran into was destroyed in the front, and the owner of the car was knocked out. Plenty of airbags were dispersed for the owner, one hitting his face, another hitting his chest. However… the airbags didn't come out for Oakes and Luna. The car wasn't up to date and was probably going to be trashed because of this problem; it wasn't safe to drive in. Glass was all over the place, and Oakes had some lodged into his eyes. He couldn't see because of that. Oakes lifted his hand to touch his eyes, feeling a wet liquid which he could only guess was blood dripping from his eyes to his cheek. Oakes sat there contemplating his life decisions before ultimately passing out. Luna was sitting beside Oakes in the passenger side of the car. A large glass pane was cutting her mouth. From cheek to cheek. She couldn't speak, that was obvious, and all she could taste was iron. Glass had found its way to Luna's neck, making it hard for her to breathe. She moved her hand to her neck to feel the glass there. The glass was sharp and wet. She looked over at Oakes, already seeing he was passed out and possibly dead. She swore to herself that if she found Oakes in her next life, she would beat the crap out of him. Laughing to herself quietly, she closed her eyes, accepting this was her last and final moments and as her breath slowed, the only sound that could be heard was the distant and muffled sound of sirens.
