Writer's block is a curse. Should I do Season Six of Ninjago, Skybound next? Or should I skip it? Cause that one seems to be an off-season. Let me know in the comments.
The ninja had finally reached the Cloud Kingdom, a beautiful city in the sky. Morro was behind since he couldn't get through the Blind Man's Eye. The others took Ghoultar prisoner to figure out what Morro's plan was. As the ninja walked on the clouds, they reached the gate entrance of the city. And walking down the steps was a man who seemed very friendly. He greeted the ninja with a smile and stated that the Cloud Kingdom was expecting them. Jay was confused about how they were standing on the clouds, but the man answered Jay's question before he could finish it.
Other realms have different realms that match their realm. "I'm Fenwick. I've been asked to show you around." Fenwick stated.
"Mr. Fenwick, we're…" Tina spoke.
"Here on a quest. Yes, we all know. Up here, we see everything that goes on in Ninjago." Fenwick said.
"Then you know…" Cole spoke.
"You've traveled far for the Sword of Sanctuary. A powerful weapon that can foresee your opponent's next attack. It's also the second clue to finding the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Fenwick finished saying.
"Blimey! But how be you…?" Zane asked still in a pirate accent.
"Finishing your sentences? I know it's rather annoying, but up here we know, let's just say, we know what's going to come next." Fenwick stated.
Fenwick asked the ninja to follow him into the kingdom while he explained everything. But there was something about Fenwick that Tina seemed to be suspicious of. But she wanted to find the sword fast and rescue Lloyd before it was too late.
Meanwhile, on the Bounty, Ghoultar was imprisoned in a cell with Deepstone bars to prevent him from escaping. Nya, Ronin, and Sensei Garmadon were trying to get answers out of Ghoultar but the guy was stubborn. "Now tell us, what's in the tomb that's so important?" Nya ordered.
But Ghoultar refused to answer; Garmadon was losing his patience, "I'll ask you again. What does Morro want with my son?!" Garamdon shouted.
"Ghoultar never talk," Ghoultar said.
Garamdon was fueled with rage, "Oh I'll get him talkin'." Ronin said.
"No. Let me handle him. I'll get answers out of him one way or another." Garmadon threatened.
Before he could do anything to Ghoultar, Wu came in at that moment and stopped Garmadon from doing anything rash. Garmadon stormed out of the room, leaving Ronin to watch over Ghoultar while Wu and Nya went after Garmadon. Wu tried to talk to his brother but Garmadon refused to listen to him. He was getting more and more worried about Lloyd. Ever since Morro possessed Lloyd, Sensei Garmadon had been hiding his worry but he couldn't help worry about what Morro would do to Lloyd. Misako could tell that Garmadon was slowly turning into a panic parent. "Come yourself brother. The ninja are already in the Cloud Kingdom and well ahead of Morro. Let's just hope they can find the Sword of Sanctuary before it's too late." Wu stated.
Back at the Cloud Kingdom, the ninja were led by Fedwick to one of the buildings. As they walked inside, all of the monks stopped looking at their scrolls for a moment to gaze at the ninjas' arrival. The monks went back to their scrolls. Fenwick explained that the Cloud Kingdom was one of the sixteen realms parallel to Ninjago. In the Cloud Kingdom, they don't have distractions like TV or video games but their words matter. The monks in the Cloud Kingdom are the writers of destiny. The monks were the ones that decided that Lloyd was destined to be the Green Ninja. Zane even had his voice back to normal without any repairs.
"Aw! He doesn't talk like a pirate anymore." Jay complained.
"It's a good thing. The pirate voice was getting old." Tina said.
Jay accidentally messed with a scroll one of the monks was writing about Darreth. Tina asked Fenwick about the sword which he knew about and the promise the ninja made to save Lloyd. But he couldn't ensure promises because the people of Cloud Kingdom weren't allowed to choose sides. Just then, Fenwick lowered his voice so only the ninja could hear him. He revealed that the monks had intended for Morro to stay in the Cursed Realm. Morro was never supposed to escape; he defied destiny and now things have been happening outside of their control such as Cole becoming a ghost. Now they're not even sure how things with Morro will end.
Kai asked Fenwick again for the sword but Fenwick told them that the Master Writer wanted to meet with them first before the sword was given to them. While the others followed Fenwick, Tina decided to stay back since something told her that Fenwick was lying. One of the monks stopped writing when he saw Tina looking around the scrolls. He got up from his desk and went over to talk to her. "Master Tina? Shouldn't you join the ninja?" the monk asked.
"Sorry. I just can't shake this feeling that Fenwick is up to something. We need to sword to find the Tomb. The only thing is, we don't know what Morro wants in the tomb or why he possessed Lloyd." Tina spoke to the monk.
The monk looked around in case anyone was looking at him and Tina then gestured for Tina to follow him to the archives. The archives hold many scrolls that were written years and years ago on every event that happened in Ninjago. The monk searched the scrolls until he found the right one and handed it to Tina. She read in the scroll that buried in the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master was a powerful relic called the Realm Crystal. The crystal had the power to travel through the sixteen realms. When the First Spinjitzu Master created the crystal, he knew that the power to freely cross realms was too dangerous.
So when he passed, he buried it with him in his final resting place. The Tomb was protected by three deadly tests that only a Master of Spinjitzu could get through with the aid of the Sword of Sanctuary. "That explains why Morro possessed Lloyd. He doesn't just want to be the Green Ninja, he needs Lloyd to get through the traps." Tina stated.
"And I'm afraid what Morro has planned for the crystal means the end of Ninjago." The monk said.
Tina sighed, "When I used a spell to see into Lloyd's mind, I saw what Morro had planned. All of Ninjago was cursed, ghosts everywhere, and in the middle of it all was Morro."
"Morro seeks to use the Realm Crystal to free his master, The Preeminate. The queen of the cursed, an evil so powerful, she cannot cross over by any magical means." The monk answered.
"Except the Realm Crystal. If Morro uses it to free her, once she'd cursed Ninjago, she'll spread her reign to the other realms." Tina stated. "I need to see the Master Writer."
"That's the thing, Fenwick is the Master Writer. But I'm not sure why he took your friends." The monk stated.
Both Tina and the monk went back to the main room but Tina saw something that shook her world, Morro and his ghost were here. Fenwick made a deal with Morro, he would give Morro the sword in exchange for his destiny being secured. Tina hid behind one of the desks so Fenwick or Morro didn't see her. She overheard Fenwick telling the monk that he locked the ninja with someone named Nimbus who would enjoy them as his playthings. Fenwick took Morro and his ghosts to the sword. Tina came out of hiding from behind the desk. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help. But as a writer of destiny, I can not…"
"It's okay. You've already helped so much. I'll take it from here." Tina spoke.
Tina asked the monk where the sword was so she could beat Morro to the sword. The monk told her that he didn't know where the sword was. Tina decided to follow Fenwick from a safe distance. She followed them to a tall building where Fenwick mentioned that it was where the sword was. She watched Moro and his ghosts enter the building as Fenwick left. Just as she was about to follow Moro, she heard something over the edge. She looked down and found the others climbing up. "You're all ok!" Tina exclaimed.
They climbed up to the wall. "No thanks to you." Kai complained, "Fenwick nearly got us killed and you just left us."
"I had a bad feeling about him. So I asked one of the monks to fill me in. Fenwick agreed to help Moro only to help himself. The swords in the tallest tower. But Moro's already heading there." Tina explained.
The boys had an idea to get to the top first, Airjitzu. The Ninja uses Airjitzu or Cyclondo as Jay calls it, to get to the top, jumping off the skiffs that are floating. Some monks are frightened that five Ninja are jumping off the boats and heading upwards to get aboard the other skiffs. At the same moment, Morro reaches the top of the temple. After a flight of stairs, he's eager to get the sword. Two guards open the door and let Morro in. He then approaches the sword, looking at the reflective blade of the sword with satisfaction on his smile."The Sword of Sanctuary" Morro whispered with delight.
The blade showed him the Ninja coming out of the window with a surprise attack but when he turned around, no one was there. He looks back at the blade and sees the same reflection and he soon realizes how it works. The Ninja arrived at the top soon after and attacked Morro. But Morro dodges the moves they attack. "Too late. I know your every move." Morro taunted them and laughed, looking at its blade, he soon saw the moves.
"We'll see about that" Kai grumbled.
Jay attacked first but Moro easily dodged Jay's attack. He did the same with Kai, Cole, and Tina's attacks. Moro jumped onto the window rim, and then he jumped out the window just as Zane and Jay threw their Aeroblades. "I think he saw that too" Jay stated.
"You think?!" Tina shouted.
They jumped out the window but the boys slipped and nearly fell off the roof. Jay, Zane, Cole, and Kai were hanging from their feet, trying to support themselves. Kai spotted Morro on a nearby roof. "There he is!" Kai shouted.
"Get him!" Cole exclaimed.
Jay was able to swing them back onto the roof. The five of them scurried across the rooftop and jumped over to land on the roof Morro stood upon. As soon as Tina landed on the roof, she shot another blast of her magic at Morro. The boys all charged at him at the same moment. Morro, of course, easily leaped away to another rooftop and out of harm's way. The boys landed in a pile at the edge of the roof where Morro had been standing a moment before. "I hate that sword," Kai grumbled.
"Why fight?" Morro taunted from the other roof, clearly enjoying this. "I'll win every time."
"Doesn't mean we can't try," Tina argued.
Morro raised his arms, unleashing a large gust of wind. It made several of the old roof tiles around him come loose, and he propelled them at us at rapid speed. Tina used her powers to deflect the tiles from them no matter how strong Moro's wind powers were. By the time I was done dealing with them, Morro was already fleeing, madly cackling his head off again as he used Airjitzu to fly away.
"Argh!" Tina immediately leaped off the roof and activated her Airjitzu.
Jay cried "Cyclondo!" as he and the others shot into the sky with her. They flew through the clouds and landed on yet another roof. Across the way, Morro had landed on the gilded dome of another roof and turned back to wave at them. "Bye-bye, ninja!" he yelled, leaping off the dome.
He landed on a skiff that was sailing below, one that was very different than the others, It'd been possessed by one of his ghosts. He turned to the ghost woman from before, who floated on the skiff. Not long after, she was unleashing another one of her fatal shrieks, sending powerful shock waves of sound right at the ninja. It sent even more roof tiles and the five of them flying. Tina quickly summoned her wings, stopping her from falling. But the boy fell through thin air, down and away from the tower. But thankfully, a monk's skiff broke their fall.
Cole asked the monk if they could borrow the skiff he was using. The monk, thankfully, didn't seem to mind hopping off at the nearest floating island. Cole grabbed ahold of the steering, and we sailed through the sky as fast as they could go in pursuit of Morro. Unfortunately, it turned out that Cole wasn't too skilled when it came to steering a skiff, so instead of sailing in a straight line, the skiff dived and zigzagged every which way as they slowly caught up to Morro's skiff. The skiff was suddenly yanked to a halt. The boys whirled around to see the strange monster from before, standing on the edge of a cliff as he held onto the end of their skiff.
Tina saw the strange monster and then looked back at Moro. She groaned then she flew quickly towards the monster and used her magic to get it to release the ninja. Suddenly the monster stopped, turning to where Fenwick was standing nearby. He suddenly decided to chase him instead, allowing them to fly away free. Tina quickly landed on the skiff and put her wings away. When the Ninja was able to control the boat, Kai noticed the boat heading towards the Blind Man's eye."Look! There!" Kai pointed at the boat.
"Hold on to your buckets, gang. Looks like the ride ain't over yet!" Cole warned.
They went to the Blind Man's Eye, heading down with Morro's boat. Both skiffs leave the Cloud Kingdom through the Blind Man's Eye, emerging back onto the Wailing Alps. The skiff landed on the snow, heading straight down at full speed. Still intact. Soon enough, the Ninja's skiff was able to catch up with Morro's. Their skiff came up alongside his as they were all rapidly propelled through the snow. "Aha! Got you now!" Kai exclaimed.
"You really think so?" Morro quipped.
He raises both of his arms, controlling the wind and making the skiff go in another direction. The Ninja still went down after being moved by Morro, but the direction they were going had trees all over. On Zane's visual, he's detecting multiple obstacles ahead. P.I.X.A.L. notified him that the collision certainty is 100 %. Zane was able to detect an upcoming obstacle ahead. He screamed at them to abandon the ship. But before they were able to jump off, the skiff hit the tree. Breaking it into a million pieces. Morro and the ghost cheered when they witnessed the Ninja hit the tree, but soon stopped when they saw Ninja.
The Ninja were able to catch up with Morro at a faster pace. Zane and Tina used a single debris as snowboards while Kai and Cole used two boards as skis. Morro growls at the sight of the Ninja, "Don't they ever quit?"
"Your ride is kind of slow, huh?" Kai teased but hit a tree.
Unfortunately for Jay, he got the end of the broken skiff as a shed, "Oh, why do I get the uncontrollable sled!?"
"Hold on, Jay" Cole reassured as he and the others tried to help him.
Soul Archer aims an arrow at Jay as he's having a hard time controlling the sled. The archer released the arrow to hit Jay but he ducked, "Haha, missed!" Jay cackles.
"I never miss" Soul Archer mumbled.
The arrow turned around and started to chase Jay while it screamed, eager to hit Jay. Tina jumped in with a spell that she used to destroy the ghost arrow. "Thanks, Tina!" Jay exclaimed.
Tina got closer to Moro's skiff; Moro saw her and he got annoyed. Morro growls and orders Soul Archer, "Do something about her!"
"My pleasure" Soul Archer said.
Once again, the Soul Archer took an arrow and aimed it at the master of magic. Tina saw the arrow then she used her magic to create a blast that destroyed the arrow. Tina saw the bounty joining in on the action. Nya armed the cannons with water balloons. Just then, Ghoultar had escaped from the jail. He jumped off the bounty and landed on Moro's skiff but something happened. Ghoultars' weight had somehow weighed the entire thing down. That was when the anchor from the Bounty plummeted down toward the ninja, carrying Sensei Wu with it. He stood on it as it crashed into the snow. "Need a lift?" he greeted.
Only the boys jumped onto the anchor; Tina told them that she could catch up to Moro. Tina was behind the skiff and took out her aeroblade, aiming at the boat. Moro looked at the blade and saw her next move. He ducked just as the aeroblade knocked off the mast and the ghost jumped off the skiff. The aeroblade made it back to Tina as she made her board head next to the skiff, "You again" Morro hissed.
"You say that as if it's a bad thing," Tina stated with a smirk.
She then jumped off her board and got onto the skiff. Both she and Moro fought against each other but she couldn't land a hit on Moro. Moro ended up disarming her and he was about to strike her down with the sword. Suddenly, Moro felt someone inside stopping him from striking Tina, it was Lloyd. "Take the sword, Kai! I can't hold him much longer!" Lloyd grunted as he handed her the sword.
"Yes, you can Lloyd. You're stronger than him!" Tina stated.
Lloyd struggled to keep control; he could feel Moro fighting back. Tina looked at the blade for a moment then she did the craziest thing possible. She grabbed Lloyd or Moro and then she kissed him on the lips. Once that was done, she whispered to Lloyd that she'd save him then she used Airjituz just as the skiff fell off a cliff. She rejoined the others on the bounty who were all surprised that she had gotten the sword. "You got the sword, but how?" Master Wu asked.
"How else? Working together. Lloyd fought Morro like a true hero." Tina answered
"If Morro defied destiny, then why not us?" Cole cheered.
"He may have gotten Airjitzu first—" Zane was interrupted.
"Uh-uh, you mean Cyclondo?" Jay corrected. Zane only sighs.
"But we got the sword!" Kai finished and the team cheered.
"Now all we have to do is find the tomb, then it's smooth sailing," Master Wu said.
"But who here knows where the tomb is?" Ronin questioned and the guys groaned. "Come on, you all seemed so confident!"
"Ugh, you ruin everything!" Nya stated.
