Chapter 6 Rookies
Its been a week since Sean and Shaak Ti returned from their little vacation away from the other Jedi who had issues with Sean and the Empire.
Since then the Malevolence was fully repaired and now serving the imperial fleet ready to take down the Regime and the Separatists.
Right now Sean was on his main flagship known as the Spirit of Fire which was three times as large as the Malevolence.
"It never ceases to amaze me that the empire has ships this size." Ahsoka said as she walked to Sean on the Observation deck up tup.
"This is nothing. My Grandfather's flagship is 3 times this size. Thats one of the benefits the empire has to the galaxy. Anything is possible in both science and Magic." Sean said before an alert came up before he answered it. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"Theres an inspection phase of Republic installations about to start. The Council feels it would be wise if you joined it to give suggestions for improvements both in defense and structure." Tarkin said.
"Somehow I can't say I'm surprised. Very well. I'll be right there." Sean said ending his transmission.
"Your leaving already?" Ahsoka asked.
"What are you gonna miss me?" Sean teased making her grin.
The two had become real close since she was placed under both him and Anakin as her masters.
"I have to make sure everything goes accordingly to make sure these places are ready for the Regime. Theres good chance the Separatists will strike an alliance with them sooner or later once they realize we outmatch them and outnumber them a hundred to one. We have Billions of soldiers in the empire Either enlisted, Cloned, Created, Built, Paid, Bargained or some other methods that don't include force or blackmail. So Naturally they would want to even the odds." Sean said before leaving.
Ahsoka walked through the halls before bumping into Shaak Ti.
"Oh Sorry, Master. My mind was somewhere else." Ahsoka said making her grin.
"Oh you mean about your imperial master?" Shaak Ti asked making her blush.
"Um...Well." Ahsoka said making her giggle.
"In all honesty I'm not surprised since he has a way of gaining the affections of others in a short time with his actions." Shaak Ti said.
"How did you two meet exactly?" Ahsoka asked making her smile.
"He saved my life from an enemy of the Empire shortly before the clone wars began. Took me to his home planet in another galaxy. I've been in love with him ever since...Along with several others." Shaak Ti said making her blink.
"You mean he's got more than just you?" Ahsoka asked.
"A lot more. But I was ok with it since he makes time for all of us when he gets the chance." Shaak Ti said.
Later
Everyone on the Spirit of Fire were going over the latest intel.
"So far we've had the most success in dealing with the Separatists. Our victories over them are all over the place and they have none over us." Sportsmaster said.
"Which is a good thing. But this only pushes them more forward to joining the Regime. We need to be prepared for when that happens since they could use Dooku to train a new Generation Sith warriors to their ranks." Mace said.
"I wouldn't worry too much. The empire does have force wielders in its ranks that aren't Jedi. Their in the what the Empire refers to the Enhanced section of their military ranks." Tarkin said.
"I assume they also use dark abilities like Sean and David?" Mace asked.
"Very much so and trained to perfect these abilities without losing their will to Darkness. The empire prepares for all case scenarios." Tarkin said before an Alert came up showing Sean in hologram form. "How goes the inspection?" Tarkin asked.
"Let me put it to you this way. You guys are in way over your heads if you think these facilities will stop the Regime. I had to order in new facilities with more advanced defenses and detection systems to prepare for them if they Regime shows up." Sean said.
"That bad?" Anakin asked.
"I've seen low level facilities in places that make the ones I just went to look like a safe haven." Sean said.
"We'll upgrade those in time. Right now you have one last facility to check before returning." Tarkin said ending his transmission.
"That was kinda an exaggeration. Don't you think?" Kenobi asked.
"When it comes to Security no. The Regime will attack these facilities either for information or for the sake of simply attacking them. And we can't give them a reason to if they find out they are so easily destroyed." Tarkin said.
Meanwhile
At the Rishi Moon outpost everything was completely calm.
Thats when the Deck officer looked around before sighing.
"All clear...As per usual."
Inside was non other than the recent graduated of Domino squad with Hevy arm wrestling with Cutup before he won and laughed.
"Who's next? Fives?" Hevy asked.
"Shouldn't you be on your scope?" Echo asked.
"Oh yeah sure, lets see." Hevy said looking at it. "Oh what do you know? All clear...Just like the last million times I've looked at it." Hevy said.
"Personally I like the peace and quiet. Catch up on reg manuals." Echo said.
"Echo what the hell is wrong with you?" Hevy asked. "We should be on the front lines blasting droids." Hevy said.
"Ah leave him alone. They left him in his jar for too long." Cutup said making him laugh.
"You may not realize it yet, fives, but you landed on one of the boring outposts in the outer rim." Hevy said before the Sargent appeared.
"And one of the most important." The Sargent said.
"Attention Sargent on Deck!" Hevy said getting the others attention.
"At ease. I would like to remind you all that our Supreme Commander and top level officers are coming here for an inspection. With the Regime out there and the Separatists we must be prepared for all threats. And I don't need to remind you if either faction gains control of this sector they'll be able to launch a surprise attack on our home planet Kamino. Is that understood?" The Sargent asked.
"Sir, yes, sir." The clones said.
Meanwhile
On Sean's flagship everyone was going over everything thats happened at of late.
"The Separatists are being unusually quiet as of late." Kenobi said stroking his beard.
"This may prove they've joined up with the Regime." Anakin said.
"In which case they'll make even more dangerous droids with the technology they have. While the Empire has the most advanced technology in the universe the Regime does indeed rival us. That also gives them more reason to join them." Tarkin said.
"How did the Regime become so powerful anyway?" Ahsoka asked.
"The Regime was created during the beginning of the clone wars. I wasn't there when it happened. Before the Regime it was multiple factions that stood against the Empire because they caused nothing but chaos and needless destruction. But alone they were no Match for the Empire and constantly failed. Together however they proved more difficult to handle." Tarkin said.
"So they joined up to have a better chance of fighting the empire." Kenobi said.
"Indeed. And there will be more factions like them in the future unless we can locate the final Infinity stone to wipe out any and all possible threats. This way no more enemies of the empire can be found." Tarkin said.
"So where is it?" Ahsoka asked.
"That I'm afraid is unknown. It took a hundred thousand years to locate five of the six. Their spread out all over the universe." Tarkin said.
"In which case we need to find the sixth in order to end the Regime for good." Kenobi said.
Meanwhile
Everything was quiet at the Rishi station.
That is until a large Meteor shower came down.
"Raise the shields." The Sargent said getting one of the clones do that.
"You wanted excitement Hevy." Cutup said.
"Right...Oooh Meteor shower." Hevy said sarcastically
The Meteor shower hit the shields and some of the land before it was over.
The deck officer looked out to see what remained but when he did he saw small landing craft where the meteors hit.
"What the?" The Deck officer said before a Gordanian appeared in front of him before a Commando droid came from behind appeared and slashed his throat killing him.
The landing craft suddenly opened up revealing more Droids and Regime soldiers .
"Report in trooper." The Sargent said on the comms but got nothing.
"I don't see him down there Sarge." 5's said.
"Go find him." The Sargent said to two clones making them rush down.
Getting down the stairs they got to the entrance they saw the Regime.
"It's the Regime!" One of the clones yelled before getting blasted. The Sarge and other clones rushed down but quickly got pined down.
"Sound the alarm!" The Sarge said getting Hevy to try to do that but couldn't.
"They've disabled the signal." Hevy said.
"Get a massage to the fleet we have to warn...AHHH!" Sarge yelled as he got blasted.
"Sarge!" Echo said before Cutup shut the door.
"We gotta get out of here! Theres too many." 5's said making them get into the air vent and escaped. The Regime soon barged into the room seeing no one.
"No sign of the clones." One of the Droids said.
"They do not matter. Wire the all clear signal and contact General Grievous." The Leader said.
Meanwhile
The Separatist fleet along with the Regime were heading for the station when the leader of the mission appeared.
"The Outpost is secure. Prepare the fleet for invasion." The Leader said.
"Good. It will deliver a massive blow to the Empire with the loss of the clones." Grievous said.
Meanwhile
Hevy and his squad came outside from the vents from the facility.
"Now what?" Hevy asked.
"We need to find a way to contact..." Fives tried to say before a drop ship soon arrived.
"That must be Commander Kruger and his officers. We have to warn them. Get the com-link Chanel." Hevy said.
Sean, Cody and Rex got off the drop ship with the former scoffing.
"This is pathetic. This place has no defenses or a deck officer." Sean said annoyed.
"To be fair the Separatists are nowhere near as much a threat as the Regime. So we didn't have as much defense at the time until they showed up." Cody said.
"True. Now where are these guys?" Sean asked not seeing Regime troops hiding before one of them in disguise showed up trying to tell them the faciltiy was in good condition to turn them away.
Down below the remains of Domino squad were trying to get on the channel.
"It's no good. They must be using a different channel." Echo said.
"I'll signal them with this flare." Hevy said.
"Take us to the Sargent in Command you dumbass." Sean said getting increasingly annoyed.
"Uh, Yes sir." The trooper said before a flare came up.
"Attack flare?" Rex asked before Sean snapped the neck of the trooper.
"Whoa! Kruger! What was that for?" Cody asked.
"Relax." Sean said pulling off the helmet. "I knew it. A Zin. The Regime is here." Sean said.
"That flare must have come from the survivors." Cody said before they took heavy fire. "AMBUSH!" Sean yelled before spotting droids coming at them before using force lighting on some. "Now we got droids. Looks like they joined up." Sean said before they threw grenades. "OFF THE PLATFORM!" Sean yelled as the place exploded.
The Regime and Droids looked around but found nothing.
"No sign of them. Resume defensive posts."
Down below Sean, Rex and Cody used grappling hooks to descend down.
"That sure complicates things." Rex said.
"Hold up." Sean said seeing four figures approaching them before he pulled out his star Saber. "Hands above your heads! Take your helmets off!" Sean yelled.
"Sir?" Fives asked.
"NOW!" Sean yelled.
"Sir, it's us." Hevy said taking off their helmets.
"Domino squad?" Sean asked surprised before A giant Worm showed up and roared before Sean blasted it to near nothing as what we left fell down.
"Whoa. Never seen you do that before." Hevy said.
"Theres a lot you guys don't know about me." Sean said placing his hand on the remains covered it in blood. "Now what are you guys doing here? I placed you in the 501st." Sean said.
"Well, we got placed here by someone else." Echo said as Sean placed his hand on his harm leaving the blood mark.
"And who was that?" Sean asked.
"Some Colonel. Norris I think." Hevy said making him snarl.
"This Norris?" Sean asked showing his hologram. (Call of Duty one as usual)
"Yup." Cutup said making him growl.
"I'll deal with him later. Wheres your sergeant and Droidbait?" Sean asked.
"Dead sir. We're all thats left. The Regime caught us by surprise." Fives said.
"I told you this was gonna happen. Never mind that now. We're gonna take this station back and find out what they want with it." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Tarkin frowned as he waited for a report from Sean and the others but nothing came through.
"Whats with you?" Forge asked.
"Sean and the others should have reported in." Tarkin said.
"What about the all clear signal?" Forge asked.
"It's still up. But I worry that may be a smokescreen to keep us from checking in." Tarkin said.
"All right. If we don't hear anything in 30 minutes I'll get my squad and go check things out." Forge said.
"Good idea. Bring along Jacob's family along incase the Regime is involved." Tarkin said. (From Twilight)
"I will." Forge said walking off.
Meanwhile
Back at the facility was a group of Camando droids and Incurisans by the door inside.
"What is that?"
What they saw was Rex approaching the door like a droid would.
"Unit 2-6, is that you?"
"Roger, Roger." Rex said.
"You sound strange. Is something wrong with your vocabulator?"
"Roger, Roger." Rex said messing with his throat .
"Take off your helmet. Let me see your face plate."
"Roger, Roger." Rex said ducking before pulling out a droid head.
Sean and the others were outside the door with the first snickering.
"This is never gonna work." Cody said.
"Oh on the contrary." Sean said as the door opened before Sean was in front of them with a grind
"KRUGER!" A Zin yelled in shock.
"Hello." Sean said before pulling out his Star Saber and slashed them all to pieces.
"Nice work." Hevy said as they rushed in before Sean took out the leader easily and used force lightning on the rest killing them instantly.
"You could have left a few for us." Rex said making him chuckle.
"I'll remember that next time." Sean said before activating the sensors. "Uh oh." Sean said in alarm.
"Whats wrong?" Fives asked before they went to the glass before using scopes to check out in space seeing a fleet numbered in the hundreds.
"Fucking hell. Thats what this is about. Their mounting a complete invasion of Kamino." Sean said.
"We have to warn the fleet." Rex said.
"We tried. They've disabled the beacon." Echo said.
"No choice. We got to destroy this place. When it goes the all clear signal goes with it." Sean said.
"How we gonna do that? You gonna blast it?" Hevy asked.
"Nothing so wasteful of power." Sean said before pulling out some device from his wrist before pressing a few buttons before it started beeping. "Lets go." Sean said as they rushed off.
Up above Grievous was approaching one of the Techs.
"What is the Status of the base?" Grievous asked.
"We're still getting the all clear signal. But for some reason..." That was as far as the droid got before the whole place exploded.
Meanwhile
"The clear signal has been disabled? The Rishi station has stopped transmitting." Tarkin said in alarm.
"Grievous." Anakin said.
"Sound the Alarm. Get the Fleet under way." Forge said.
Back at the station Grievous growled in rage.
"I didn't tell them to blow up the base!" Grievous yelled before the Spirit of Fire and several other Cruisers arrived. "Ah Kruger's flagship. We're out gunned. Get us out of here." Grievous said before he noticed his old flagship. "MY SHIP!" Grievous roared as the Empire started firing on them before they left.
Later
"Once again I'll say it. I'm baffled by the low security measures you all put into place. And there of all places. The one spot you don't want to lose." Sean said to the Jedi council.
"The security measures were standard for the Separatists. The Regime took us off guard." Kenobi said.
"Maybe. Nevertheless I'm giving the order to put in higher security systems since I can't afford this happening again." Sean said.
"We don't need your pathetic requests." Koth said before Sean blasted him with lightning making him groan in pain.
"You shut up." Sean said.
"Enough. We'll make sure these requests are put in. And Koth and Piel won't have a say in the matter." Mace said making them glare.
"Good. Now I need to take care of someone who thinks his authority is superior to my own." Sean said leaving.
Sean was walking to the command room when he spotted who he was looking for.
"Norris." Sean said gaining his attention making him glare.
"Well, if it isn't the Emperor's spoiled grandson." Norris said.
"I'm not spoiled. I earned my position through hardwork and tactics. You had no right to change my orders about Domino squad being in the 501st." Sean said.
"Actually I did. I'm recommending all clones be pulled out of the empire and be put down immediately. And I'm gonna make it happen. I don't care if your the Emperor's grandson." Norris said.
"Is that so?" Thanos asked making him gasp in shock seeing him, Darkseid and the Fourth highest ranking council member. Vilgax. (From the Original Ben 10 series after he got himself upgraded since he looked way cooler in that)
"Um...My Lord...I can explain." Norris said.
"Explain what? That you altered troop placements against your supreme commander because of your arrogance?" Darkseid asked.
"No. Not exactly...You see..." Norris tried to say before Vilgax smashed the wall.
"DO NOT TAKE IS FOR FOOLS COLONEL!" Vilgax roared making him gulp.
"You had no authority nor good enough reason to make those requests. Which is why you are no longer part of the Empire...Nor worthy enough to live." Thanos said.
"What are you..." Norris tried to say before Sean's metal fist punched through his chest holding his beating heart making him gasp in shock before dying off.
"Thats what they mean. The punishment for those who misuse their position for their own gains." Sean said before two droids took the body away.
"Any others who disobey or disrespect your command...You are free to do what you see fit." Thanos said.
"With pleasure." Sean said as they left.
"That was rather harsh."
Sean looked seeing Jedi Knight Aayla Secura.
"Harsh maybe. But those who misuse their authority for their own reasons face the same fate. It's how we keep everyone in line from doing this consistently." Sean said.
"I suppose so." Aayla said.
"Since you had the misfortune of seeing that why don't I make it up to you by taking you somewhere to eat." Sean said making her smile lightly.
"I suppose that would be fine." Aayla said as they left.
Authors Note: And with that Domino squad is in the 501st and Norris is dead. Now Next Chapter is going to be where Gunray gets captured and I have some nice surprises in store for all of you. Now my main focus is on Return of the Ancients with is a Legend of Korra Yugioh crossover. And theres a poll up for which crossover of Legend of Korra is next. Star Wars is currently in second place.
