Chapter 16 In the Web
It's been about a month since the attack on London due to Klarion wanting to cause nothing but Chaos. And since Korra became part of Monarch to learn her new abilities.
Right now Sean was out in the ocean swimming to clear his head since once more Eiling was at it again saying the Titans were a threat that needed to be put down.
Only this time around he was also targeting the Proxies as well saying they should also be put down or risk poisoning the human race's pure DNA.
'That guy is seriously started to piss me off something fierce.' Sean thought as she swam into a trench as Zilla passed him.
Korra saw all this from inside the station.
"You ok?" Diana asked walking to him.
"Yeah I'm fine. I can't believe this Eiling guy had the nerve to say all that crap about us." Korra said.
"He's been running his mouth like that since Godzilla first arrived. He, General Lane and Luthor can't see the good they do for the world." Diana said.
"So why aren't they in jail?" Korra asked.
"Luthor got Eiling off the hook when he helped unleashed the MUTO's and Eiling got Luthor out of jail as thanks. Lane on the other hand hasn't really done anything at the moment but everyone can see he's in the same boat with them." Diana said.
"Great." Korra said annoyed before Diana smiled.
"So you two have gotten pretty close in the last month." Diana said making her blush lightly before giggling.
"Well...He's been very supportive and comforting to me when I came here after my family was killed. It's kinda hard not to fall for someone like that. I honestly feel jealous you get him." Korra said making her grin.
"Oh it's not just me." Diana said confusing her making her giggle. "He didn't tell you did he? He's on a special program. You see the UN wants to speed things up to have more people like him. More proxies. But rather than do it by science...They want it done the old fashioned way." Diana said making her eyes widen.
"You mean?" Korra asked.
"Yup. Their given him permission to have a harem to help speed things along. So far it's just me, Cheetah and Volcana. I know Livewire, Barbara, Black Canary and Hawkgirl feel the same but they want to wait for the right moment. And considering how you clearly feel about him. Are you interested?" Diana asked as Sean swam up from the entrance before she smiled.
"Well...I guess I don't mind sharing." Korra said making them both laugh before an alert came up.
"Figures. Right when I get out of the water." Sean said.
Soon everyone was gathered.
"So whats up this time?" Flash asked.
"We have reason to believe a new proxy has been spotted. In Las Vegas." Emma said.
"Already?" Korra asked surprised.
"With the Rise of the Titans a lot of new surprises await. Anyway we don't know what the Titan there does look like but we do know people have reported strange sightings in the area. And our satellites have traced radiation in the area." Graham said.
"We want a small team to find and locate this new proxy and bring him or her back." Serizawa said.
"Before Eiling or Lane can." Sean said.
"Yes." Emma said.
"All right lets move. Diana, Korra, Cheetah, David and Turok are with me. We'll find our new proxy." Sean said as they left.
Later
"Ah Las Vages. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Let's go get laid with strippers." Turok said making Sean and David snicker while Korra and Diana giggled.
"Your 13 aren't you?" Cheetah asked giggling.
"It was a joke." Turok said laughing his ass off.
"Oh brother." Sean said chuckling before clearing his throat. "Ok so anyway we're gonna go and scout out the area. Wherever our new proxy is will most likely be in the more abandoned areas." Sean said.
"So we split up." David said.
"Yeah. Lets move out the sooner we find the new blood before Lane or Eiling the sooner we can head home." Sean said as they split off.
Unknown to them however though someone was watching them from above.
"So...How did you become a proxy?" Korra asked David.
"No different than my brother. Only the titan that gave me my powers is still asleep." David said.
"How powerful is yours?" Korra asked making him grin.
"Now wheres the fun in telling?" David asked making her giggle. "Finally getting used to your powers?" David asked.
"Yeah. Learning to use four elements like that took a while. But it's fun though." Korra said making him chuckle.
Sean went into the more abandoned warehouse areas before walking into one of them.
"Hmm. Now I wonder what our new proxy looks like." Sean said to himself before feeling a shadow over him making him look before dodging as a few webs nearly hit him.
"Looking for me!"
Sean dodged more webs before his back glowed before unleashing atomic breath into the ceiling making a large hole before whoever attacked him screamed as the place came down.
"Whoa what was that!" Korra yelled.
"Go check that out. I'm gonna see if someone is making a run for it." David said as they both ran off.
Sean groaned as he pulled the rubble off him before something else came out.
Sean shook his head before getting a better look.
It was a woman but only half of her looked human. The human half you could see she had white skin lavender hair and six red eyes. The other half however had the complete body of a spider. She was also completely naked.
"DON'T LOOK AT ME!" She screamed.
"Whoa easy now. I'm not gonna hurt you." Sean said trying to calm her down.
"I see the looks! You see me as a freak like everyone else! I'm a monster now!" She cried out.
"Calm down. You're not a monster." Sean said as Korra and Cheetah arrived.
"Whoa." Korra said
"SEE! Even they see me like a freak!"
"Hang on a second now. None of us are judging you. Let's just calm down." Cheetah said.
"Why don't we just take it easy. Whats your name?" Sean asked trying to calm her down.
"You'll just laugh because of my current looks."
"Try me." Sean said.
"It's Rachnera." Rachnera said. (From Monster Musume)
Korra snickered lightly making her glare.
"Sorry...I couldn't help it." Korra apologized.
"My mother was one of those scientists that studied spiders every day. So she gave me that name. I got made a lot in school for that name." Rachnera said.
"I think it actually sounds cute." Sean said making her look at him before looking away. "Now why don't you start from the beginning." Sean said. "Who you were before hand." Sean said.
"I was...A dancer back then. The more erotic kind. Wasn't exactly my preferred choice but I did enjoy the attention and got paid more than enough. I had a simple life. Then last week...I woke up...Looking like this...A monster." Rachnera said.
"Your not a monster. You're a proxy." Sean said making her blink all six eyes.
"Wait...You mean one of those people who have the powers of Titans?" Rachnera asked.
"Yup." Korra said grinning.
"Clearly you were chosen and I can clearly now guess what kind of Titan we have here." Sean said.
"I didn't ask to be this!" Rachnera yelled.
"Neither did me or Korra. But we don't our powers or physical looks." Sean said taking off his shirt showing the spikes on his back making her blink before Korra turned around before lifting the back of her shirt showing seven colored stones on her spinal section like the Rainbow dragon before lowering her shirt.
"We get it. This is a lot to take in. And in your new appearance it's clearly scary for you. But we can help you. Monarch specializes in helping people like us. We can help you control your new powers...And perhaps help you turn from your human form to this at will with enough training." Sean said making her look away.
"What if...I want the cure?" Rachnera asked.
"There is no cure." Sean said making her frown. "Look you were chosen for a reason. Let us help you. Besides there are those who would hunt you down and kill you because they hate anything to do with the Titans. They'll kill you." Sean said making her look away.
"Well...I guess it beats the alternative. Fine." Rachnera said before Sean pulled out his communicator.
"Emma we got our new proxy. But we're gonna need to get her inside privately...And some new clothes of course." Sean said.
"Clothes?" Emma asked.
"We'll explain when we get there." Sean said.
Later
Rachnera was dressed in some clothes that would fit her new appearance as she was scanned.
"So you three found her like this?" Serizawa asked.
"Yup. She was terrified thinking we would see her as a monster. I don't blame her though. Most people would. But once they see what she can do for the people that thought will vanish." Sean said making him nod.
"Anyway we got some more good news. A second proxy was located in Egypt." Graham said.
"Already?" Diana asked.
"Traces of Radiation were found there. We need to move before Luthor and Eiling make a move." Serizawa said.
"I always wanted to go to Egypt." Korra said.
"Ok let's go." Sean said.
Later
"Whoa!" Korra yelled seeing all of Egypt was a lush land now and no longer had so much sand all over the place.
Currently Obelisk sat on one of the Pyramids almost like a throne.
"Heh. With him around it was expected for this place to change. Now then." Sean said pulling out a device.
"So that thing can help us locate other Proxies?" Korra asked.
"It helped us when we found out Barbara and Livewire were proxies." Sean said before they arrived at some club.
"This is an entertainment club." Korra said.
"Oh boy." Sean said as they went inside.
Walking inside they saw a large number of people gathered before the next performer walked out.
She had white skin Long crimson hair and blueish green eyes.
Currently she was dressed in a revealing outfit that was Egyptian design.
"According to this thing says her name is Rias Gremory." Sean said. (Rias from High School DxD and in the outfit from that Ova episode where she danced)
As Rias danced she took a quick look seeing Sean out in the crowd before winking at him.
"Looks like you got an admirer." Korra teased making him chuckle as Rias continued to dance before her performance ended.
Rias arrived in her changing room before Sean and Korra arrived.
"So. The Famous proxy of Godzilla comes to see me." Rias said grinning at him.
"I get the feeling you know why we're here." Sean said.
"You mean this?" Rias asked as blue wings appeared on her back similar to Obelisk. "I woke up with these three days ago. Shocked the hell out of me and then I could do this." Rias said as Energy came into her hands.
"Thats impressive." Korra said.
"You don't sound so shocked about your new abilities." Sean said.
"I kinda figured someone here would be the proxy of Obelisk. Didn't think it would be me but I'm not against it." Rias said.
"And yet you haven't told anyone and just work as entertainment." Sean said making her grin.
"Oh I knew eventually someone would be looking looking for me. I just decided to wait and enjoy what remains of my normal life here." Rias said.
"How can you enjoy being put on display like that? Are you that desperate?" Korra asked.
"Not at all. Unlike most places in the world like this my job actually pays well. It's not like I'm getting naked. Just dancing nothing more." Rias said before they heard gunfire.
"The fuck?" Sean asked before he looked outside seeing heavily armed men with US standard weapons outside. "Eiling." Sean said.
"Guess he found out about you and wants you dead." Korra said as Sean's mouth started to glow before hitting some with Atomic breath.
Thats when they aimed at them before Korra used her air abilities to blow them away before Rias blasted them down.
"If we can get them to talk we can expose Eiling." Korra said.
"Not a bad idea." Sean said making her grin before the men started convulsing before their heads blew up which shocked them.
"What just happened?" Rias asked as Sean got a closer look before seeing they weren't people but machines.
"Hmm. So Luthor and Eiling want to keep their operations secret. We can't prove they did this but clearly this is the first attempt they've made to attack a proxy." Sean said.
"They really hate that bad?" Rias asked.
"Oh yeah." Korra said.
Later
Rias was getting examined by Emma and her staff on her abilities.
"Another already?" Rachnera asked. She was dressed in clothes that fit her new form while she trained to find a way to revert to her more human form and back since Emma believed she could.
"Obelisk awakened some time ago. It's no surprise he picked out a proxy." Batman said.
"Why do they all feel random though?" Rachnera asked.
"The Selection is anything but random. They chose us for a reason." Sean said.
"Anything on the bots?" Korra asked.
"Nothing. Anything inside them was wiped clean when they exploded. Luthor is making sure to cover their tracks." Batman said.
"We should just confront them and be done with it." Turok said.
"We can't exactly assault them without a cause. They'll use that against us." Sean said.
"Oh come on." Korra said annoyed.
"There are rules Korra. We have to follow them even if they don't. They'll slip up eventually." Diana said.
"I guess." Korra said.
"As long as we stay on top and find the new proxies thats good enough for me." Sean said.
"Agreed." Batman said.
Meanwhile
Back in Las Vegas everything was very calm.
From the skies was a drone observing everything.
And the one controlling the drone was none other than Luthor who grins.
"You sure this is gonna work?" Eiling asked.
"Of course. I can now manually open the breach using sophisticated energy surges to anywhere I choose. And what better place than Vegas where there are no Titans. We knew about the girl since her radiation reading was the same as that blue freak. But Vegas does not have one." Luthor said before activating a device.
Inside the city a breach opened up before three Kaiju came out an roared loudly making the people scream in terror.
Meanwhile
"HEY!" Rachnera yelled pissed off seeing her home was being attacked by Kaiju.
"I don't get it. It just came out of nowhere. The Breach shouldn't have opened there." Cisco said.
"Luthor. He has to be behind this. No other explanation." Sean said.
"We gotta do something." Rias said.
Meanwhile
As the Kaiju continued to attack a large leg suddenly came out of the ground followed by seven more.
"Oh this should be interesting." Reznov said.
Coming out of the ground was a large spider Titan who made strange calling sounds.
"Kumonga." Sean said. (From Godzilla Final Wars)
"Thats where my powers came from?" Rachnera asked.
"Oh yeah. This is an Alpha level titan." Sean said.
Kumonga looked at the Titans before jumping on one of them before bitting into it making it roar in pain as poison coursed through it's veins before Kumonga jumped off as the Kaiju suddenly died from the poison.
Another tried to attack before Kumonga shot webs at it making it crash down as it tried to get free.
Meanwhile
"NOOO! You gotta be kidding me! It's one lousy spider!" Luthor yelled.
"You said there were no Titans in Vegas." Eiling said glaring at him.
"I didn't think there were any to begin with. Every time the Kaiju show up more of these things come out of the woodwork." Luthor said.
"Then send more." Eiling said.
"Can't. The Power in the device is too low. I need to increase it to keep sending them through." Luthor said making him frown.
Meanwhile
Kumonga slashed at the last Titan who roared before the neck started expanding before spitting a blue liquid at him but he jumped away as it landed revealing it to be acid.
The Kaiju roared loudly before a familiar screeching sound was heard making it look and saw Mothra who flew into it making it crash down before Kumonga bites down injecting poison into it making it roar in pain before it died before Kumonga approached the one in his webs before stabbing his front right leg into the head killing it.
Later
"This is over the line. Luthor is sending Kaiju into cities he thinks don't have Titans." Superman said.
"We know it was him but we don't have proof." Batman said.
"What do we need? A written confession?" Korra asked.
"Solid evidence. The courts aren't gonna just believe us just because we say so. Thats not how this works." Sean said.
"So what we just wait for the next attack?" Rias asked not happy.
"No. We try our best to prevent them from doing this again." Batman said.
"All we can do is wait. Until we have solid evidence we can't make a move against them." Emma said.
"I'm afraid she's right." Serizawa said.
"This blows." Korra said.
"I know but for now we have to wait. We'll get them soon enough." Sean said.
Authors Note: And with that we have yet another Titan and two more proxies. Now Next Chapter is gonna be Fury with another Proxy and a lemon. Now This Chapter and the update in Total Drama Goddess are gonna be the last updates until Next Monday when I make the massive update to introduce my new Legend of Korra story next week.
