Chapter 17 Fury
Its been a month since Rachnera and Rias were discovered as the new proxies of Kumonga and Obelisk and since Luthor and Eiling launched an attack on Vegas.
While everyone in Monrach knew it was them they had no solid evidence to prove it in court.
So for now they waited for said evidence to appear and expose them.
Right now Sean was in the ocean swimming around as usual.
"Does he always do that?" Rias asked Korra who giggled.
"Every day. It helps keep his mind off current events. With Eiling trying to convince the world we're a threat that needs to be put down and trying to kill the titans...You can understand why he does this a lot." Korra said.
Currently Rias was dressed a Green Camouflage sports bra and Camouflage booty shorts.
"I guess that makes sense. I don't understand why we don't just expose them." Rias said.
"Because we don't have enough solid evidence to prove what they're doing." Diana said.
"But we do know it since Luthor and Eiling are the only ones who hate the Titans the most." Rias said.
"What about Lane?" Korra asked.
"He may hate them but he won't do anything without orders or he'll risk his rank and career." Diana said. (Of the two I think we can all agree Eiling is more dangerous since he turned into a monster and proved himself a hypocrite)
As this was going on however Sean came back up from the water before rubbing his face.
"Enjoy the swim?" Rachnera asked making him look up.
Rachnera now having her old human body back after learning to switch between forms stood on human legs wearing a pair of black jeans with a black shirt and jacket and heels on but still had the six red eyes.
"Wow." Sean said making her giggle as she pulled him up. "All that training finally paid off." Sean said shaking his head to get the rest of the water off.
"It feels good to have my old body back. The eyes are still a little much but I'll get used to it." Rachnera said before an alert came up.
"What is it now?" Sean asked.
"Another Titan just showed up." Emma said making them rush up to the screens. (Sora Emma is from the Monsterverse series...PAY ATTENTION!)
Appearing in one of the more remote Regions of Japan was a large Titan that stood on two legs looking between a mix of Dog and Lion with a tail in the back and roared in the air.
"Got a catchy name for this one?" Korra asked.
"Japanese legends call him King Caesar. The Guardian of the Mountains. Supposedly he protected the local villages and kept them in line from attacking one another during ancient times." Sean said.
"And...Apparently has just chosen a proxy." Emma said getting a reading.
"Already?" Rias asked.
"This is proof the Titans are trying to evolve mankind. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps when more wake up they start also effecting other humans in different ways." Sean said.
"Like what?" Rias asked.
"Only time can tell. Anyway go find this Titan before Luthor and Eiling try to kill him or her." Emma said.
"Rias with me." Sean said as the two left.
Later
Sean and Rias were in a small village where Caesar was seen resting with the children playing.
"They seem lively." Rias said smiling.
"I'll bet. A giant Monster thats said to protect the village? I'm surprised people aren't doing some kind of worshiping ceremony." Sean said before they heard chanting making them look around the corner seeing a group of villagers bowing and chanting.
"You were saying?" Rias teased making him roll his eyes before he pulled out the device to track their latest proxy.
"Lets find our proxy before..." Sean said before gunfire went off making the villagers scream.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me." Rias said seeing soldiers shooting up the place.
"Lets get..." Sean tried to say before a blur went past them and destroyed them all with ease.
"What the?" Rias said before someone stood over the dead robots while holding up one of the heads.
"Hmm?" Sean said seeing it was a woman around his age. She had blonde hair white skin and gold eyes.
"Weird looking things." She said.
"I think we just found our proxy." Rias said as they approached her.
"Hi there."
"Hello back. So you're the proxy for King Caesar. You already got a handle on your gifts." Sean said.
"Actually I've had these powers for a few years now. Just woke up one day and could do all this. But since our village was isolated no one said anything."
"I guess that makes sense. Volcana and Livewire have been proxies before the Titans began to emerge again so it's not unexpected for there to be more before hand." Sean said.
"Names Leone." Leone said. (from Akame Ga Kill. Even her cannon abilities fit into this story)
"Sean and this is Rias. We're also proxies like you." Sean said making her grin.
"Cool. So I'm gonna assume someone doesn't like us and sent these things to kill me?" Leone asked.
"Right on the mark. Come with us and we can show you what you're really capable of doing." Sean said making her grin.
"Oh...I think I'm gonna like working with you." Leone said winking making Rias giggle.
Later
"This is absurd!" Eiling yelled as he was held for a hearing about the past events.
"We know someone is targeting the proxies of the Titans. You're the only one who's constantly spoken out about killing us. Last month a group of machines arrived in Egypt to kill Rias and when they were taken down they exploded preventing us from learning anything useful. And again Leone's village was attacked yesterday by the same machines. You're the one sending them." Sean said.
"You don't have any proof freak." Eiling said.
"The only freak here is you. We know you busted Luthor out of jail despite he was supposed to be serving a life sentence." Sean said.
"Eiling is this true?" The Judge asked.
"So what? He's useful to this country." Eiling said.
"Need I remind you that he created his own monster to frame the titans and attacked New York leaving hundreds dead." The Judge said.
"Acceptable losses. He sees the same as me. The Titans and these freaks need to be put down. But they can't prove we attacked anyone." Eiling said.
"Who else could make machines like this?" Sean asked presenting the head Leone kept.
"I think I've heard enough." The Judge said making Eiling smirk.
"Good now if you'll excuse me..."Eiling tried to say.
"I wasn't finished. I'm gonna order an investigation into all of your dealings with Luthor to see if they actually involve the titans and Proxies." The Judge said shocking him.
"WHAT!" Eiling roared.
"Watch it. After your last stunt I'm not gonna ignore facts. An Investigation will be ordered and I will make sure the evidence is properly collected and not tampered with by your hands. End of Story." The Judge said slamming her gavel making Eiling glare at Sean who gave him the middle finger.
"WORTHLESS BRAT!" Eiling roared charging at him but Leona kicked him into a wall with quick speed.
"Get him out of my sight." The Judge said.
Later
"Remind me again. Why are we here?" Sean asked Diana as they were in a mall.
"To get Leone some new clothes since she's now a Citizen of the states." Diana said looking at clothes herself.
"Well...How do I look?" Leone asked showing her new outfit. (Basically her regular clothes in her series)
"Nice." Sean said making her giggle before they paid for the clothes and left.
However thats when they saw a man had blocked a woman in her parking space and refused to move.
"Fucking son of a bitch." Sean said as he lifted the car up making the guy yell in shock.
"Thanks Kruger." The woman said driving away before Sean placed him in her spot before breathing atomic breath at the tires keeping him there.
"Next time mind your fucking manners you piece of shit." Sean said making him nod quickly in fear.
"Ooh. I like him more and more." Leone said making Diana Giggle.
"I know the feeling." Diana said.
"Wonder Woman." Batman said in the shadows getting their attention. "We nee to talk." Batman said.
Later
"An Amazon? Thats ridiculous." Diana said as Batman told them about his encounter with the Injustice League that had two new members. One known as Tsukuri and an Unknown Blond.
"I don't think so." Batman said tossing her a necklace. "I got that from her. It's Amazon design isn't it?" Batman asked.
"Well...Yes. But it could be a forgery." Diana said.
"I don't know Diana this looks pretty convincing." Sean said inspecting it. "How bout if I go ask your mother if she recognizes who this belongs to." Sean said.
"I suppose." Diana said.
"At the very least if there is an Amazon involved we'll know who it is and what they hope to accomplish." Sean said.
Later
Sean swam straight to the island before coming out of the water and shook it off before a sword was aimed at his face making him look up seeing a group of Amazons.
"You have a death wish? Men are forbidden here."
"I saved you guys last time I was here months ago." Sean said as they got a better look at him before widening their eyes.
"Forgive us Lord Kruger. We are not used to men on the island."
"It's just Sean or Kruger. I don't do formalities. Why are all of you even out here anyway? This is a little far from the city." Sean said.
"Recently a large amount of gold was stolen and we were sent to investigate."
"Thats odd. I came here because we believe another Amazon is responsible for a crime back home. These two events can't be a coincidence. Wheres Hippolyta? I need to speak with her." Sean said as they lead him to her.
Arriving at the palace they saw Hippolyta.
"Sean? What are you doing here? Has something happened to Diana?" Hippolyta asked concerned.
"Uh no. She's perfectly fine. I came here for answers. We believe another Amazon is in my part of the world. Add to the fact you had someone steal from you is also a strange timing." Sean said.
"You think one of our people did both of these? Wheres your proof?" Hippolyta asked.
"Recognize this?" Sean asked holding up a necklace making her widen her eyes before rushing down and examined it.
"Have my horse and another ready." Hippolyta said to one of her sisters.
Soon the two arrived at some old tower with a large hole at the top.
"That necklace belongs to Aresia. She's supposed to be here in solitary meditation." Hippolyta said as they went in before heading to the top before seeing the place empty.
"Looks like she got tired of staying here. No one has been in here for weeks at best." Sean said looking around.
"I feared as much." Hippolyta said.
"So...why was she in here? Was she in some kinda trouble?" Sean asked.
"No it's not that simple. This was the final step in her rebirth." Hippolyta said.
"Rebirth? What does that even mean?" Sean asked.
"Aresia...Isn't an Amazon by birth like Diana and all the others. No...She's from your part of the world." Hippolyta said surprising him.
"All right...Start at the beginning." Sean said sitting down.
"When she was but a child long before the Titans began to emerge again her homeland become the battlefield for a bloody and senseless war. The Victors were cruel and denied even the basic humanity of their defeated foes. Soon, neighbors, friends and schoolmates were all gone. Her family had no choice but to flee. They eventually made their way to a refugee ship. But even here, fate was not kind." Hippolyta said.
"Let me guess. Pirates threatened them and took what little values they had." Sean said.
"And then sunk the ship. She managed to drift to shore and I found her." Hippolyta said before Sean looked at her.
"Thats not what happened is it?" Sean asked shocking her. "Your face says it all. She didn't arrive alone did she?" Sean asked making her sigh.
"No. The Captain of the ship found her and brought them both here. But his heart gave out and died. He was buried on the island on an unmarked grave. I felt he at least deserved that. So we adopted Aresia and magically endowed her with Amazon strength. I've often wondered if we did the right thing. Still, how could we refuse?" Hippolyta asked.
"You did do the right thing. It's Human nature to help those in need. One of the Good things the Titans bring out in man." Sean said.
"Very true." Hippolyta said before Sean walked to some chest before opening it up.
"I thought you said your people don't journey to the outside world." Sean said.
"We don't. Why do you think we do?" Hippolyta asked before Sean pulled out a few books. "These things are forbidden. We believe contact with the outside world can corrupt us." Hippolyta said as Sean looked at the book in hand.
"I can see why." Sean said seeing it was about Germ Warfare.
Later
"So this Aresia is from this part of the world." Batman said.
"With a history no different than ours. I think in some way she views man as the greatest enemy and wants to eliminate them in biological warfare." Sean said.
"All she's done is steal certain chemicals." Wells said.
"She might be combining them into something that can only be used on men." Sean said before an alert came up.
Aresia was seen robing a Gem depository.
"Let me handle this." Sean said.
Aresia opened one specific vault before grabbing a gem and bolted.
Only for Sean to get in her way.
"Hello Aresia." Sean said surprising her.
"How do you know my name?" Aresia asked.
"Hippolyta told me." Sean said making her glare.
"Your lying. The queen would never allow a man on the island." Aresia said.
"She would if her daughter was dating said man. And who's the Proxy of the King of the Titans which to you are the old Gods and by Zeus's orders." Sean said making her blink.
"Oh I remember you. We didn't meet face to face but you did stop Hades and the ancient enemies of the Gods." Aresia said.
"I know what you're doing. You're trying to make a Virus to wipe out all of men because of what happened in your past." Sean said.
"Why shouldn't I? Man has done nothing but brought nonsense wars and Violence over the years. It's time for it to end." Aresia said.
"By pure Genocide?" Sean asked making her look away. "You have every right to be mad at mankind but hating all of them is dumb. Not all of them are like that. And if you think Women are perfect you'd be dead wrong. My mother could tell you stories of her sister when she was alive." Sean said confusing her.
"Meaning?" Aresia asked before Lantern rushed in and tried to take her out but she dodged and bolted.
"DAMNIT JOHN! I was trying to get through to her!" Sean yelled.
"I thought you were just keeping her busy." Lantern said.
"Idiot." Sean said before they both went to see what she took.
"So the rest take everything but she takes one gem?" Lantern asked.
"She's making something." Sean said.
Later
"So Aresia is trying to make a Bio Weapon?" Hicks asked.
"Thats what we believe. We need more data before we prove anything." Sean said.
"I get hating men for what she went through but wanting to kill all of them is down right stupid." Leone said before an Alert came up.
"Now what?" Sean asked before the screen lit up showing Gotham in Chaos.
Arriving at the City they saw hundreds of people getting sick and collapsing while the buildings started burning.
"It's like a Plague. And Half the City has it." Rachnara said in her spider form.
"Yeah." Sean said looking at a man being treated by a female doctor. "The Male half." Sean said.
"How come you're not affected?" Rias asked.
"Probably because of the Radiation inside me." Sean said.
"So Aresia made a Bio weapon that only effects men?" Korra asked.
"Looks that way." Sean said.
From a distance Aresia, Tsukuri and Star Sapphire saw all this.
"So the Poison only effects men?" Tuskuri asked.
"Exactly, Hence why it didn't effect either of you when I unleashed it on the others." Aresia said.
"But why? What do you have. to gain from all this?" Star Sapphire asked.
"What do I have to gain? Look around you. Man's world is filled with Greed, deception and cruelty. But I'm going to change all that. Today we women take control." Aresia said.
"What about the titans? They won't stand for this." Star sapphire said.
"Oh I think they will." Aresia said.
"What about Kruger and the other Proxies. They might be Immune from this." Tsukuri said.
"They might be immune and I have no issues with them since they saved my home months ago. But they won't stop me." Aresia said.
Meanwhile
"Ok we so know Aresia tested her Bio Weapon on Gotham. We need to know where she plans to use the rest." Hawkgirl said.
"I have a pretty good idea. She would want to distribute it in one go. The best way to do that is by air. Theres a local airbase not far from here. Odds are she'll use something to load up her poison and send it into the air." Sean said as Mothra flew over the City with King Bat before their started curing those infected with Aresia's virus.
"About time." Korra said grinning.
Later
Aresia and her crew were at the airbase loading up the last of the virus on a powerful aircraft.
"Thats the last of it." Tsukuri said.
"Good lets..." Aresia tried to say,
"Aresia." Sean said getting her attention.
"So you actually are immune from my Virus. I'm kinda glad since I consider it a reward for saving my home from Hades." Aresia said.
"Look...I get why you're angry but killing all of mankind is pure Genocide. You'll be no different from the men who you knew growing up back home or those Pirates." Sean said making her look away.
"Maybe. But how much suffering has man brought on the world. On everyone?" Aresia asked.
"You seriously think that Man is the problem? It goes both ways. My mother's sister was a monster back then and my grandfather gave them everything growing up." Sean said.
"What are you talking about? You brought this up last time." Aresia said.
"My grandfather on my mother's side was a rich millionaire who owned this big company back in the day. Had two kids my mother and my aunt. And he gave them everything out of love. But always told them to do the right thing in life. My mother being the youngest took this concept of being a good person to heart. My Aunt...She only cared about herself. She wanted more and started making Illegal deals. Deals that got people hurt and killed. Men and Women alike. Even Children." Sean said shocking her.
"But..." Aresia tried to say.
"My father was absolutely horrified by what she was doing for selfish reasons. He had no choice. He disowned her and stripped her of her inheritance and gave it to my mother who gave it to those her sister had hurt to help make their lives a little easier. Shortly after she met my father and had my brother and then me. As for my Aunt? She got herself killed by one of the families she hurt by a woman who's daughter she killed." Sean said making her lower her head.
"I...Don't believe this." Aresia said.
"Aresia Men aren't perfect but neither are women. Both sides have their flaws. But if you do this. Those women who you robbed of sons, Husbands and brothers will come after you with the Intent to kill. And theres another flaw in your plan." Sean said.
"And that is?" Aresia asked.
"How is the Human Race supposed to continue if you kill the male half. You realize woman can't have kids without...Sex right?" Sean making her eyes widen. (Seriously why does no one bring this up! I mean Hello! We don't reproduce as will Lady!)
"Um..." Aresia tried to say while Star Sapphire and Tsukuri realized this as well.
"You seriously didn't think that through did you?" Sean asked.
"No." Aresia said in defeat.
"No offense but your the reason people say Blondes are dumb if you can't see that one obvious detail." Sean said.
"Hey!" Aresia said insulted.
"Just saying." Sean said making her sigh.
"Ok I didn't think that part through honestly." Aresia.
"It doesn't matter anyway. Mothra and King Bat along with every Flying Titan are flying all over the place destroying your Virus. So your plan would fail anyway." Sean said making her sigh.
"I suppose you're gonna arrest me now?" Aresia asked.
"I might be willing to convince the Judge to let you off the Hook...IF...You join us." Sean said surprising her. "What better way to make amends then to fight for the people? Do that...And I can keep you out of Jail." Sean said.
"Well...I suppose it is better than the alternative of rotting in a cell." Aresia said.
"Good." Sean said.
Later
Soon the Titans of the Air completely destroyed Aresia's virus and cured those who were infected.
Right now however Everyone was at Monarch HQ.
"Luthor and Eiling have covered their tracks pretty good on their various crimes on attacking Proxies and releasing the Kaiju." Batman said.
"Jeez what a shock." Sean said annoyed.
"However the government has decided to keep a close eye on them for now. They know those two are up to something." Batman said.
"I'm not surprised." Turok. said.
"In the meantime we continue to monitor for Titan Proxies and new Titans." Batman said.
"Right." Sean said as they left.
Authors Note: I know I said there would be a lemon but an Idea came to mind. Next Chapter will have it and unleash a new Titan in the Apex level. Now I'm gonna be focusing on my new Legend of Korra story the Return of an Old Legend which is also a God of War crossover but with more action than the last one. Read, Review, Fav and Follow.
