Chapter 20 Skull Island
Its been about a month since Ghidorah had finally awakened which meant the three most Powerful Titans were finally awake after thousands of years.
And like everywhere else crime in Central City was down due to his presence.
Right now Sean was out in the ocean swimming to clear his head up before Godzilla appeared next to him.
Once more Eiling and Luthor were pushing for the extermination of the Proxies of the titans saying they would poison the pure human bloodline.
And not surprisingly Simmons supported them and offered to terminate them himself.
That only made things worse for all three of them and put them under investigation...Again.
"I swear those idiots are the reason the world is so fucked up." Sean said.
"Hey Kruger. Get back to base. We got new proxies." Reznov said on comms making him sigh before swimming back.
Jumping out of the water he shook it all off before heading back into the lab.
"Ok wheres our new proxies?" Sean said.
"I figured you would have been excited."
Sean turned seeing an old man who he was familiar with.
"Randa? Finally back from those recon missions?" Sean asked.
"Someone has to find the new Titans based on Legends." Randa said grinning making him scoff in amusement.
"I'd be in a better mood if those idiots would just leave us alone." Sean said.
"True. Anyway our new proxies which is Three I might add. Are in London. And these are the Titans we believe have just made their own." Randa said as Three pictures appeared.
One was the Bull dragon
The second was known as the Red Eyes black dragon
Third the Blue Eyes white dragon.
"Well, we know the bull dragon breathes purely just fire." Batman said.
"Actually...Thats no longer true. We've just proven it breathes more than just fire." Randa said before showing footage of the Bull Dragon breathing fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Earth elements and various others.
"So the Bull Dragon has command over various elements." Emma said.
"So it would seem. Let's get moving." Sean said as he, Korra and Rias left.
Later
Soon the three were in London once more.
"Out of thousands of dragons in the world and these three stay here?" Korra asked.
"Force of habit. Anyway." Sean said pulling out the tracking device used to find the proxies.
"So I know there are more Dragons than any other Titan at the moment but are there other Titans in large numbers like them?" Rias asked.
"Maybe. There are also other Titans that are related to Godzilla. One of which is is Florida." Sean said before explosions went off making the people scatter as a group of robots they knew all too well came out.
"Oh not again." Korra said ready to fight when a large blast of lightning came down on most of them which caused them to explode.
"Hmm?" Sean said before looking up seeing a woman with white skin Long scarlet hair and brown eyes.
"Hmm. Machines causing trouble on my turf."
More appeared before aiming at her only to be blasted by a ball of red energy making them look seeing another woman with white skin long silky black hair and violet eyes dressed in a rathe revealing outfit. She also had black wings on her back.
"I always hated machines."
Thats when the last of them were destroyed with white lightning making them look up seeing another woman who had white skin violet eyes and chestnut hair in twin tails in a black leotard and had white wings on her back.
"Welp we found our proxies pretty easily." Rias said.
"So...The famous proxy of the king of the monsters shows up." The Red head said flying down to him before she was in front of him. "I wasn't expecting someone so...Handsome." She said flirting making him smirk.
"I can say the same about you three. The Dragons chose wisely." Sean said making her giggle.
"My name is Irene Belserion. These two are Raynare and Irina. You can probably guess who they represent by the wings here." Irene said. (Irene from Fairy Tail and Irina and Raynare from High School DXD)
"The Red eyes Black Dragon and Blue eyes white Dragon. And you are the Proxy of the Bull Dragon if the current power level is any indication." Sean said making her grin.
"Who sent those Robots anyway?" Raynare asked kicking one away before they melted which shocked them before they just vanished.
"Nanodrones. Designed to destroy everything to leave no trace. Luthor and Eiling have stepped up their game so we can present this to the courts." Sean said.
"Great." Korra said annoyed.
Later
"The robots just melted?" Randa asked.
"Say what you want but they stepped up their game big time." Sean said.
"Which means we step up ours." Batman said.
"Either way we got the proxies and they didn't kill them and no signs of any new ones just yet." Emma said.
"Which means we can focus on our next objective." Randa said before showing a new image of an island.
"The hell is that?" Sean asked.
"That...Is Skull island. The Land where God did not finish creation." Randa said.
"I always heard about this in myths." Sean said.
"Whats so mysterious about it?" Batman asked.
"Think of it like the Bermuda triangle. Boats and planes have gone missing here and there and people have avoided it for centuries for some reason. However...During the end of the second world one man somehow got off the island. And he described everything there as huge and inhuman. I believe perhaps there could be a vast number of Titans of different sizes all over the place." Randa said.
"And naturally we want to get there first before Eiling and Luthor learn about it and try to fire bomb the place." Sean said.
"I already talked to an old friend of mine. He's letting us piggyback with Landsat to go there and got us a military escort." Randa said.
"Right. Me, David, Turok, Korra, Rias and Irene go along with." Sean said.
"What about the Rest of the League?" Batman asked.
"Six Proxies are more than enough. Besides, someone has to stay and keep an eye on those idiots incase they pull something or if more proxies show up." Randa said.
"Fair enough." Batman said.
"And for some good publicity I've already contacted Lois Lane and another photographer Mason Weaver." Randa said.
"All right lets go." Sean said.
Later
"Why do we need a tracker? And why French Special forces?" Sean asked Randa as they were in Vietnam.
"Former Special forces. No allegiance to anyone. Like I always tell ya. Better to be prepared than not." Randa said as they made it inside some bar.
"Ok so what do we tell him?" Sean asked.
"Her. Our tracker is a woman." Randa said as they made it in deeper before spotting a woman who had white skin black hair and black eyes. "Thats her. Monique Dupre." Randa said before two men tried to attack her but she beat them down easily without even trying.
Sean whistled.
"Now theres a lady worth talking to." Randa said.
Soon the two discussed the mission with her.
"An Uncharted island? Let me list all the ways you're gonna die. Rain, heat, mud, disease carrying flies and mosquitos. Sure you could load up on atabrine for the Malaria, but what about the other Bacteria? And we haven't even started with the things that want to eat you." Monique said.
"Will ten times this make you join?" Sean asked making her raise an eyebrow.
"Monarch has unlimited funding thanks to Godzilla and the other Titans. We can pay that and more." Randa said.
"Ok. You got my attention. Still you hired a tracker. Who or what am I tracking?" Monique asked.
"That is currently unknown or better to have one than not." Randa said.
"True." Monique said.
Later
Sean was heading to the ship used for the mission when a man with the rank of Colonel stopped him.
"You with the ship?"
"Yup. My papers." Sean said handing them to him making him look them over before frowning.
"You wouldn't happen to be related to an Arthur Kruger would you?"
"Yeah. He was my biological father before I was adopted along with my brother." Sean said making him chuckle.
"I knew him back in the day. I was one of his lieutenants back then since he was the Chairman of the US. I think he would approve of your abilities. Names Packard by the way." Packard said.
"I'll bet." Sean said as they went up top.
Sean saw Lois talking with a blonde haired woman.
"Who's she?" Sean asked.
"Thats Mason Weaver." Packard said.
"I honestly thought with a name like Mason she was gonna be a He." Sean said making him snort.
"I don't blame ya." Packard said.
Soon the ship took off the Skull island.
Next Day
"Hello and Welcome. I'm Landsat field supervisor, Victor Nieves. This is my colleague Steve Woodward, our data wrangler. Our expedition takes us to a place every nautical trade route known to man has avoided for centuries." Nieves said showing a digital screen of Skull island.
"Name suits the place." Lois said to Sean who nods.
"As our satellites show, the island is surrounded by a perpetual storm system, allowing it to remain hidden from the outside world. But with Colonel Packard's helicopter transport, we will be the first to break through the other side. We're also pleased to be joined by Monarch who have decided to join us. And another who has joined us. Billionaire scientist Cameron winters." Nieves said shocking those from Monarch minus the new members.
"Wait what?" Randa asked before seeing a man with white skin white hair and dark eyes walking to the front looking smug at Monarch.
"What the fuck is he doing here?" Sean asked Randa.
"Now wait a minute! Why is Winters here?" Randa asked.
"He Volunteered and financed this mission. Is there some kind of problem?" Nieves asked.
"Oh no, no problem. Just a bunch of idiots who can't see the Titans will pollute the Human Genome and need to be put down along with their so called Proxies." Winters said making Sean snarl.
"Winters right?" Packard asked.
"Yes Colonel?" Winters asked.
"Shut the fuck up and sit down like the little barking dog you are." Packard said making his men laugh as did members of Monarch making him frown.
Later
"The hell was that all about?" Packard asked Sean.
"Winters used to work for Monarch for a time when I was still pretty young. One day he saw me and realized what Godzilla did to me. Instead of being thankful he saved my life he was disgusted and suggested all of us should be put down." Sean said.
"But you all were kids." Packard said.
"I know but it didn't matter to him and tried to do it himself but got caught. His memories were temporarily erased by a friend known as Amanda Waller. When the Titans resurfaced his memories must have came back." Sean said.
"But since the world supports the Titans he can't do anything." Packard said.
"Yeah." Sean said.
While most of the crew was relaxing Monique was down below looking at the equipment with a lighter before Sean was seen.
"What are you doing down here?" Monique asked.
"I should be asking you that." Sean said before they saw the crated for Seismic charges.
"What are these for?" Monique asked.
"We're using these to map the underground area. We also believe this might be a possible site of a Hollow Earth zone." Sean said.
"A what?" Monique asked.
"Hollow earth zones are like tunnels or at least thats what we believe at the moment. The Titans use them to get to areas faster." Sean said.
"I see. So what exactly are your issues with this Winter person?" Monique asked.
"He used to work for us but when he saw the spikes on my back he freaked out and said we need to be put down. He was kicked out after that and had his memories erased for a time." Sean said.
"Until now." Monique said as they left not seeing someone walk in before opening the Crated to the Seismic charges.
Next day
Everyone was getting everything ready for the flight to skull island.
"We did ask them to arm those choppers. Why?" Sean asked Randa.
"Like I always say. Best to be prepared than not." Randa said before seeing Winters getting in one making them frown. "Don't do anything stupid. I'm sure he's taken the liberty of pulling some BS in the event of his death." Randa said.
"HMPH!" Sean said before he got on a helicopter with Monique and Korra.
"Fox leader to Fox group. It is time, once again for the Griffin and ant show. As usual, remember, hold onto your butts." Packard said as they took off.
"Oh boy." Korra said as they approached the storm. Sean took her hand making her smile.
"Here we go. Hang tight." Packard said as they went in as the chopper shook.
"Yikes." Turok said.
"Remember the Story of Icarus. Whose father gave him wings made of wax and warned him not to fly too close to the sun. But the exhilaration was too great, so he flew higher and higher until the sun melted his wings and fell into the sea. But the United States Army is not an irresponsible father if you don't count Eiling." Packard said making most laugh. "So they gave us wings of white-got cold-rolled Pennsylvania steel." Packard said before they came through.
"Nice speech." Sean said.
"Heh." Packard said before they saw the island.
"It's beautiful." Korra said.
"Oh wow." Sean said seeing it was untouched by man.
"Now...Lets get to work." Packard said before some of them landed to get equipment off.
"Equipment is set up." Brooks said.
"Ok time to start dropping charges. One at a time." Sean said.
"No since I'm financing all of this I get the final word. Drop as many as you boys like." Winter's said making Sean growl.
"Winter's...Shut up." Packard said making him frown. "One at a time boys." Packard said.
"Roger that Colonel." Cole said as they started dropping them.
"Guys...You're not gonna believe this. The bedrock? It's practically hollow." Brooks said.
"Looks like our hunch was right. This is a hollow Earth zone." Randa said.
"Lets keep moving." Sean said.
More charges were dropped when Sean noticed the explosions were rather large.
"Hey Randa? Are the explosions mean to be that big?" Sean asked.
"Now that I think about no they aren't." Randa said.
"On guard fox group! Fox Either is Down! Fox Four is Down! Respond Fox three!" Packard yelled.
"The hell happened?" Sean asked.
Thats when they neared the cause of the loss of three teams making most widen their eyes.
"Oh my god." Rias said.
What they were looking at was a large Ape about near the same size as Godzilla.
"My god." Randa said as Fox group surrounded it.
"Waiting for orders here." Packard said.
"Don't attack! The bombs might have aggravated it." Sean said.
"FIRE!" Winter's yelled before taking the stick and fired the minigun making the ape roar before attacking giving them no choice but to defend themselves.
"WINTER's you son of a bitch!" Sean yelled before they went down.
The Ape took down all of the Choppers so easily and separated all of them.
"Anyone copy?" Sean asked on comms but got nothing but static.
"Comms are no good." Monique said.
"What was that thing? I thought you said all Titans were peaceful with Humans." Nieves said.
"Blame Winter. Son of a bitch would do something like that." Sean said.
"Now what?" Brooks asked.
"We need to regroup." Monique said.
"Yeah. Ok." Sean said.
"And then what? All our choppers are down." Nieves said.
"We make it to the shore they'll send a search party soon enough and hopefully put Winter's in a cell." David said picking Mason up as her leg was hurt. "You ok?" David asked.
"Yeah...Thanks." Mason said as they walked off.
Meanwhile
Randa was getting his hand checked by Turok since it got cut in the crash.
"That should do." Turok said wrapping it up.
"You two good?" Packard asked.
"I think so. Any word from the others?" Turok asked. The only ones on this team was him, Randa, Packard, Mills, Cole, Reles, Winters, Rias and a few other men.
"Nothing. Now." Packard said sitting down. "I want some answers. Did you all know that ape was here?" Packard asked.
"No. We knew this place might have some but..." Randa tried to say.
"Some? Meaning there might be more than just his kind?" Packard asked.
"Maybe. Theres not a lot known about this place. And I searched every corner I could trying to find every Titan in existence and believe me Colonel...I found a lot." Randa said.
"Oh yeah?" Packard asked.
"I was the one who created the program to help train Titan Proxies once I saw Sean and the others have similarities with the titans. Immunity to disease. Regenerative abilities and much more...Depending on the Titan they get their powers from." Randa said.
"Ok...So what were you and Sean talking about before about the charges being bigger than they should be?" Packard asked.
"I'll give you one guess." Randa said glaring at Winter.
"Should have known. If he messed with those explosives he was trying to draw him out." Packard said.
"More than likely. He may come off as some scientist but all he wants it to exterminate everything to do with the Titans. Don't be surprised if he has his own made to fight them." Randa said.
"We'll deal with him later. Right now we gotta get to the shore. They'll send a search and rescue part in a few days." Packard said.
Meanwhile
"I called it the Hollow Earth Theory. I was the one who came up with it. That there are these passage ways that allow the titans to move underground. Like little wormholes they use to get from place to place much faster." Brooks said.
"And you all think this island has that?" Monique asked.
"Makes sense." Lois said.
"Theres also other theories we have to consider. That the Hollow Earth theory might be something more than we realize." Sean said.
"Like what? A world within a world?" Korra asked.
"Maybe." Sean said making her blink.
"I was just kidding." Korra said.
"Well, I'm not. I think we can agree that anything is possible at this point." Sean said.
"He's not wrong." Irene said as they made it through some tall grass.
"This is Slivko. Does anyone read me?" Slivko asked on the comms.
"Forget it. No one can hear us right now." Sean said as they walked by a lake.
"Where are we anyway?" Lois asked.
"Unknown." Monique said before something cameo out of the water making Slivko aim his weapon at it but it turned out to be some giant Buffalo creature.
"Easy now." Sean said lowering Slivko's weapon before approaching the Buffalo before placing his palm on the head making it purr softly before leaving them.
"Whoa." Korra said.
"Hmm. I guess even Titans can look like regular animals. Then Again Komodo looks like a regular Komodo only bigger." Sean said.
"Hmm." Monique said as they moved on.
Meanwhile
Packard's group was moving through some Bamboo trees.
"So what do you know about Winter's?" Packard asked Turok.
"Not much. I was pretty young at the time when he went spewing his nonsense about us. Said we needed to be put down and tried to do it himself when we were alone. Sean blasted him out the door and security took him before erasing his memories." Turok said.
"He attacked a group of kids?" Packard asked disgusted.
"Yup." Turok said before one of the men gasped before his water dropped. "Oh now what?" Turok asked turning around before widening his eyes seeing a tree right through his mouth. Only it wasn't a tree.
Looking up they saw a giant spider with long legs over them before taking its leg out of the dead soldier's mouth before trying to get them.
"Shit! Look out!" Mills yelled as they dodged before Rias blasted it away with ease.
"Nice." Packard said.
"She's one of the Proxy's of an Apex Level Titan." Randa said making her smile.
"Great another freak of nature." Winter said.
"At least I have a love life unlike you." Rias said smugly making the men chuckle at the burn while he glared.
"Damn." Turok said chuckling.
"All right enough screwing around. Let's move." Packard said.
Meanwhile
Sean and his group continued to move.
"Now what is this?" Sean asked seeing ruins with some markings.
"These are not natural." Monique said as Mason looked around with her Camera.
Thats when one of the walls had eyes making her yelp before everyone got in a circle as a large number of people surrounded them.
"Holy shit!" Sean said as his back glowed while David had lightning bounce off him.
"Whoa easy!"
Everyone turned seeing a man with large muscles and large beard walked towards them.
"Easy now. No one needs to get hurt."
"Who are you?" Sean asked.
"Raymond Gains. Call me Ray." Ray said. (Ladies and Gentlemen. Picture Dwane Johnson when he played Hercules 2014 and at the same time his San Andres character for obvious reasons)
"I almost didn't believe them when they told me you people were here." Ray said.
"Clearly. And from the looks of things you've been here a long time." Monique said.
"Yeah...Three years. Long story." Ray said.
Soon enough they were lead to a village.
"You've probably noticed some strange things here." Ray said.
"Nothing we're not used to back home." Lois said as they passed some large gate.
"Is that meant to keep that Ape out?" David asked.
"Nah. He's not the one they want to keep out." Ray said.
"No?" Brooks asked.
"The village is pretty simple. No property no crime. A good home." Ray said.
"How'd you get here?" Sean asked.
"I was part of a rescue mission that was a little outside my jurisdiction. Crashed and I ended up here and Met Kong. Brought me here." Ray said. "The people don't really speak but when you've been here as long as I have you tend to know how things work." Ray said.
"Wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait. We can't stay here. We have lives. I have a life." Nieves said.
"Enough." Sean said.
"What lands here tends to stay here." Ray said leading them to an old freight ship. "Near as I can tell this thing's been here since 1934." Ray said as they went inside. "They consider this place holy ground so don't touch anything." Ray said as they entered some shrine.
"Whoa." Sean said seeing various paintings.
"From how they tell it they've lived here for thousands of years in fear. But then the strangest thing happened. Some of the things they were afraid of started protecting them from the things that were eating them. But nothing lasts forever." Ray said showing paintings of those like the Ape dying. "And this...Is they're last savior." Ray said showing the Ape that attacked them. "Thats Kong. He's King around here." Ray said.
"Kong?" Korra asked.
"Catchy. So why did he attack us?" Sean asked.
"Cause you pissed him off. Those bombs you were dropping woke up something just as dangerous as him when they're small. I call them Skull Crawlers since they come out of these vents." Ray said.
"They killed his kind?" Lois asked.
"Yeah...But you really don't want to wake up the big ones. They wiped out most of his kind. The smaller ones are easy for him. But when he dies they come out and they'll kill everything on this island for food...And when that dries up." Ray said.
"They'll leave the island and kill anyone else in their path for food." Sean said.
"Yeah. So as Long as Kong's around they stay in the ground." Ray said.
"Listen...Theres gonna be a rescue team to pick us up at the shore. We can take you home." Sean said.
"Getting there on foot is a problem since theres just as many dangerous things as Skull Crawlers. But...There might be a way there by water." Ray said leading them away .
"During the second world war two old pilots crashed here before me. They were working on this before one was killed by the Skull Crawlers and the other from old age." Ray said showing some boat made of plane parts.
"Well, thats lovely." Irene said.
"May not be much but with some extra hands we might get it working to get to the shore." Ray said.
"You gotta be kidding me. That thing looks like it's made out of pure tetanus." Nieves said.
"Nieves...Shut the fuck up." Sean said.
"What? What I say?" Nieves asked.
"Just keep your opinions to yourself and be thankful we have something." Korra said.
While Slivko and the others worked on the boat Sean went outside before he heard some pained yelling making him rush out before finding one of the Buffalo pinned under one of the Choppers.
"Ah damn." Ray said rushing to it.
"Help me move this." Sean said as they were about to move it when it was lifted up freeing the Buffalo.
But it wasn't they who lifted it.
It was Kong who looked down on him before narrowing his eyes on Sean.
"Hey." Ray said getting his attention. "Relax he's with me." Ray said making him soften his eyes before leaving.
"That was easy." Sean said.
"Yeah well I've always had this connection with him." Ray said.
"Ray...Have you been able to do unique things since you met Kong?" Sean asked making him stop.
"Well...Just this." Ray said lifting up a large rock 10 times his size with ease before setting it back down.
"Well...I kinda had my suspicions you were a proxy." Sean said.
"A what?" Ray asked.
"Proxies are people gifted with the abilities of those like Kong. We call them Titans. Some abilities are internal like yours with powerful muscles...Mine." Sean said lifting his shirt before showing the spikes on his back making him widen his eyes. "Are more physical." Sean said also showing his gills.
"What the hell happened while I was gone?" Ray asked.
"A lot of things." Sean said.
Later
During the night everyone was at the top of the freight ship to rest.
"So let me get this straight. These other Titans are fixing all of our mistakes when it comes to the environment and also stopping crime." Ray said.
"Thats part of it. Ever since Godzilla made his presence known 2 years ago the world has been changing with the emergence of more Titans." Sean said.
"And you said the Titan who gave you his powers is...Godzilla?" Ray asked making him chuckle.
"Little known fact everyone now knows. A former worker went off and made movies based on Titans. You can easily tell they were a hit with the public." Sean said before seeing the look on his face. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"I need to show you something." Ray said leading him to the shrine again. "I didn't show any of the others cause I didn't know it actually existed till you showed me those fins." Ray said.
"What is it?" Sean asked before he opened another door before showing another painting.
This one however had a Kong Like species fighting Godzilla.
"They say Kong's destined to fight his oldest foe. I think they mean Godzilla." Ray said making Sean narrow his eyes.
"Ancient species rivalry. I guess Godzilla's kind and Kong's have some ancient rivalry. Most likely for who's meant to rule the Titans." Sean said.
"Probably why Kong was glaring at you. He knows who you are." Ray said.
"Well...The Sooner we get off this island the better." Sean said.
Next morning
After getting the boat ready for departure and Ray saying his goodbyes to the villagers the group was traveling on the river to hopefully meet up with the others who they hoped were still alive.
"So tell us about yourself." Korra said to Ray.
"I uh...Was with Los Angelas Rescue. I had a wife and two Daughters." Ray said.
"Thats sounds nice." Brooks said.
"You said had...Not have." Sean said making everyone look at him while Ray sighed.
"My daughter Mallory...She drowned during a canoeing accident...I couldn't save her...It's Ironic. I could save everyone else I would only meet once...But not the person who I wanted to see everyday." Ray said.
"Ray we can't save everyone. But maybe her death also led you here for a reason. It's no accident you become like us. The Titans choose their proxies for a reason. Maybe you're meant to do more with your life and that accident is what led to it." Sean said making him smile lightly.
"Thats a nice way of looking at it." Ray said.
"Fox Five, come back." Packard said on the Comms.
"Packard?" Sean asked.
"HA! Knew you'd make it kid. Where are ya?" Packard asked.
"On a boat made of old plane parts. Send up a flare." Sean said.
"Roger that. Fire in the hole!" Packard yelled firing the flare.
"I see it. Two clicks to our north. We'll meet you there." Sean said.
"Roger that." Packard said as his group moved out.
"We're going home." Nieves said happy before a large group of carnivorous flyers picked him up making him scream.
"Get down!" Monique yelled aiming at them but sighed seeing he was too far away before they tore him apart as he screamed.
"What the hell man?" Slivko asked.
"He's gone. Theres nothing we can do." Sean said.
"What the hell?" Korra said.
"Forget it theres nothing more we can do." Monique said.
"Lets just meet up with Packard and get off this island." Sean said.
Soon enough they parked the boat before waiting for them at the river.
"They should be here soon." Monique said.
"Unless they were eaten by something bigger than them." Mason said.
"Don't say shit like that." David said before they heard rustling putting them on edge.
Thats when the others arrived.
"Oh shit." Silvko said
"How you two holding up?" Sean asked Turok and Rias.
"I need a shower from all the swamp water we had to swim through yesterday." Rias said.
"I don't blame you." Sean said before Packard walked to him. "This everyone?" Sean asked.
"What you see is what I got." Packard said.
"I think we got more than enough room." Ray said.
"Who's he?" Packard asked.
"Our Proxy for the Giant Ape known as Kong. Enhances strength that rivals his own." Sean said.
"I'll be damned." Packard said.
"Great another freak." Winter said.
"You shut up." Packard said making him glare.
"Lets just get to the shore and get off this island." Sean said.
"Not just yet. Still got a man out there." Packard said.
"What? Who?" Sean asked.
"Chapman. He's with the down sea stallion just west of here." Packard said.
"West? Uh uh. Thats where the more dangerous creatures live including those Skull crawlers." Ray said.
"We got seven proxies here including you. Our chances of fending them off are pretty high." Packard said.
"Hold up." Sean said walking away with Monique. "Well?" Sean asked.
"We can't just leave someone behind. If he is still alive we live with the guilt of knowing we could have saved him." Monique said making him nod.
"All right Packard here's the deal. We'll head over to his location but if he ain't there we head back to the boat. I'm not gonna risk missing the rescue." Sean said.
"Roger that. Let's move." Packard said.
"Sean this is a bad idea." Ray said.
"Maybe. But we don't leave people behind." Sean said.
Later
Traveling to Chapman's location they came across several large bones in the ground.
"Oh I don't like this." Korra said.
"The hell is with all these bones?" Packard asked.
"Because of that." Ray said as they came to a graveyard of an assortment of bones including Kong's parents. "This is what remains of Kong's parents." Ray said.
"Good riddance. They did the world a favor." Winter said before Sean punched him down.
"You are getting on my last nerve!" Sean said kicking him in the stomach making him groan.
"Easy now." Packard said. "Now we pass through here and we can get to Chapman." Packard said.
"All right let's move." Monique said as they moved through the boneyard.
"And these Skull Crawlers did all this?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. They just never stop eating." Ray said.
As they continued to move they heard some screeching in the distance.
"Oh shit! RUN!" Ray yelled making them get into cover.
Thats when one of the smaller Skull Crawlers came out.
"Oh my god that thing is disgusting." Sean said.
"Don't let it see you." Ray said before it started retching.
"The hell is it doing?" Irene asked before it puked out the remains of a human skeleton.
Korra gagged before Sean covered her mouth before he saw the remains seeing dog tags that belonged to Chapman.
"Shit." Sean said as it started to leave.
"HERE!" Winter's yelled shoving Turok out.
"WINTER YOU OF A BITCH!" Randa yelled as it charged at Turok before he breathed out his pink mist before it screeched in pain as the skin melted off before only bone remained.
"SON OF A BITCH!" Turok yelled tackling Winter's down and proceeded to punch him before Sean and Ray pulled him off.
"You fucking prick!" Sean said.
"Colonel that freak just attacked me. I am ordering you to kill him and the others right now." Winter said.
"Keep your mouth shut." Packard said as they left the area.
"This is exactly why I said coming here was a bad idea. There are more of them down here. Hundreds maybe thousands. We need to leave now." Ray said.
"Once we find Chapman we will." Packard said.
"Sorry Packard." Sean said holding up his dog-tags. "He's dead." Sean said making the men sigh before Packard sighed as he took them before glaring at Winter.
"This is all your fault!" Packard said.
"Excuse me?" Winter asked.
"You made those explosives bigger than they were supposed to be. Thats what drew Kong out and woke up more of those damn things." Packards aid.
"So what? All the more proof they need to be put down. Especially them." Winter said pointing at Sean and the other proxies.
"Kong only attacked to stop you from waking up more of them. That was your doing. There are hundreds down there about his current size. And if he goes they all come out and devour everything on the island. And when that happens where do you think they'll go next?" Monique asked.
"Everywhere." Randa said.
"Exactly. Kong was trying to stop them." Sean said.
"You are all fools! If more people die just to put them all down so be it. The world needs to lose a certain percentage in it's population anyway." Winter said.
"You have lost your mind. I'll be sure the courts hear about this." Packard said moving to restrain him before he pulled out some device that made a bright light which blinded them before it stopped and he was nowhere in sight.
"DAMN!" Randa yelled.
"Where the hell did he go?" Ray asked.
"I have no idea. Doesn't matter he's not our problem anymore. We need to find the river and find that boat and get off this island." Sean said.
"I got an idea." Monique said.
Later
Sean, Monique, Ray and Packard were up on a cliff.
"Theres the river." Monique said before the ground started shaking.
Thats when Kong approached them.
"Ah shit." Packard said pulling out his pistol.
"Hold up." Sean said slowly approaching him.
"Sean...I don't think thats a good idea." Ray said in concern as he was face to Face with Kong.
"Easy big guy." Sean said as Kong looked at him before Sean slowly placed his palm on his face as Kong's eyes softened while Sean chuckled lightly before Kong backed away.
"Well, I'll be damned." Packard said amazed.
"Just because Kong and Godzilla's species have some rivalry doesn't mean we do." Sean said.
"What are you talking about?" Monique asked.
"I showed him a painting the villagers made of him fighting Godzilla. We think they might end up fighting each other if they ever meet." Ray said before explosions went off making Kong roar.
"Winter's." Monique said.
"Son of a bitch set off the remaining charges." Sean said as they rushed down as Kong went to them.
The others waited patiently before they came down.
"What the hell is going on?" Mason asked.
"Winter set off the remaining charges to lure Kong. Brooks get the others back to the boat. We're going to save Kong." Sean said.
"Not without us." Cole said.
"Lets move!" Packard said.
Winter's grinned as he had Kong horrible burned before he set some charges around him.
"Since everyone else is blinded by stupidity. I have to do everything my self." Winter said about to set the charges.
"Don't even think about it!" Sean yelled making him face him.
"Stay out of this freak." Winter said as Packard and his men aimed at them. "You are all traitors to your own kind. Ever last one of you." Winter said.
"Maybe your not paying attention. If Kong goes those things come up and they'll head out all over the world killing millions or more." Packard said.
"I'm ok with that. As long as all of them end up dead the number of dead people is irrelevant." Winter said.
"PUT IT DOWN!" Sean yelled making him glare.
Thats when bubbling was heard in the water.
"Uh oh." Ray said in alarm before a large explosion in the ground occurred.
Coming out of the hole were hundreds of Large Large Skull Crawlers who roared into the air.
"Oh shit!" Sean yelled before knocking Winter's out and slung him over his shoulder.
"RUN!" Ray yelled as Cole and Mills fired at them making them roar as they chased them and ignored Kong who opened his eyes.
Sean and the others arrived at the other side of the island seeing a downed ship.
"We're at the edge of the island. We gotta keep those things here or they'll wreck havoc all over the world until Godzilla and the other Titans put them all down." Sean said.
"How are we supposed to do that?" Mills asked before roaring was heard making them look seeing the Skull Crawlers who rushed at them.
"Ah hell." Packard said before Kong appeared and smashed the Alpha with a rock making it roar in rage at him.
"Theres no way he can fight them all." Korra said as one tried to rush at Kong.
Only for a familiar stream of blue fire to hit it in the face killing it.

"Wait what just..." Ray tried to ask before the ground slowly began to shake.
And a powerful and all too familiar roar was heard making them turn.
Approaching them was none other than Godzilla who roared loudly at the Skull crawlers before facing Kong.
"Uh oh." Sean said in alarm as they growled at each other before Sean breathed Atomic breath at one of the Skull crawlers making it go through the head killing it while the others roared at him.
Both glared at the Skull crawlers before nodding to one another as Godzilla roared loudly into the air before Mother also arrived and spat silk at one of them making it roar before more Titans arrived.
"Now thats what I'm talking about!" Mills yelled as Rodan charged at one of the larger Skull crawlers making it roar in pain from the intense heat.
Megalon soon came out of the ground before roaring as his drills started spinning before stabbing one of the Skull Crawlers in the face killing it.
Destroyah landed before roaring loudly as the Skull Crawlers before breathing a pink mist that made them roar in pain as their skin melted off leaving nothing but Bone.
While this was going on the boat arrived before Brooks fired a turret at the smaller Skull Crawlers forcing them back.
"GET IN!" Brooks yelled as they got on.
Ray jumped on one of the smaller Skull Crawlers before punching it in the eye making it roar before he pulled it apart with his bare hands.
The Rainbow dragon flew in before blasting a large number of Skull crawlers making them roar just as the Bull dragon arrived and breathed lightning at them killing them before more dragons arrived to take out the smaller ones.
"It's a war zone here!" Slivko yelled.
Kong and Godzilla battled against the Alpha who wrapped himself around Kong before Godzilla threw him off and roared as the spikes on his back glowed before breathing atomic breath at him making it roar in pain before going after the humans which Sean saw before breathing atomic breath at him making it back up before Kong jumped on him and grabbed it's mouth forcing it wide open before slamming it back down into itself.
Ghidorah landed before blasting most of the Skull crawlers with lightning which killed most of them instantly.
Zilla and Komodo killed a few before one tried jumping on Zilla only for him to slam his back into a wall making his spikes slam into it killing it instantly. (Anyone who says those things on their backs aren't weapons are dead wrong)
More and More Skull Crawlers ended up dead till only one large one remained that tried to retreat but Godzilla stepped on it before his spikes glowed and breathed Atomic breath on it killing the species for good.
(End Song)
After that most of the Titans began to leave before Godzilla and Kong looked at one another growling before Godzilla lowered himself to Sean's level before he and Ray got on along with the others seeing as the boat was damaged from the lightning Ghidorah let out.
Kong just walked away before Godzilla and the other Titans left.
"Guess they put aside their issues and focused on the bigger threat." Randa said as Godzilla swam off the island to the boat.
As they left Kong looked from a distance before pounding his chest hard and roared into the air.
Later
Winter's glared as he was presented to the courts for his actions of unleashing the Skull crawlers by trying to kill Kong.
"You are all idiots. They all need to be put down!" Winter's yelled trying to get free.
"Save it. As far as I'm concerned you are too much of a risk. For your actions and complete disregard for human life the courts find you not only guilty but sentence you to Death." The Judge said shocking him while Sean and the others smirked as Winter's tried to get free but couldn't as he was dragged out. "Now...As for these Skull Crawlers...You are all absolutely certain they are all dead?" The Judge asked.
"We believe so. But in the event any did survive Kong can handle them." Randa said.
"I see. I think thats all for now." The Judge said as everyone left.
Later
Sean and Ray were at his house in the backyard after having a tearful reunion with his daughter Blake and his wife.
"So Winter's is on Death's row?" Ray asked.
"Yup. Bout damn time too. So how bout you? You gonna take that offer to learn more about your abilities?" Sean asked.
"I think I'll take it at a later date. I just wanna spend time with my daughter for a while after three years apart." Ray said.
"I can respect that. Still any time you feel like coming in don't be afraid to do so." Sean said.
Authors Note: Holy Shit this was intense and a lot different compared to the original with The ROCK being Kong's proxy. Who else was I gonna pick that fits the bill? Anyway next Chapter is just gonna be pure lemons as Sean relaxes after the Skull Island Mission.
