Chapter 2 Tensions
Its been a couple weeks since the Jedi rediscovered the Titans and those they gifted their powers to. Of course they had to Report this to the Senate since it was a big issue.
Unsurprisingly many had demanded that the Jedi go and recapture the titans for their great power but they refused and reminded them that the Planet was no longer part of the Republic.
Things got pretty tense for the Jedi since the Senate hadn't learned a thing after all these years.
"I knew this was a bad idea." Anakin said.
"They haven't changed at all. They're no different from the old Republic." Mundi said.
"If things don't settle down soon the Senate may decide to try and invade the Earth and capture the Titans." Mace said.
Meanwhile
"Those freaks are property of the Republic that were stolen from us thousands of years ago. They belong to us!" Senator Burtoni yelled.
"They didn't belong to anyone. They were taken away from their home planet and used as weapons for war. If we do this we're letting history repeat itself." Padme said.
"They have no rights! They are mere animals! And these descendants of these Fallen Jedi are terrorists. I say we also either wipe them out or use them to end this War!" Burtoni yelled
"Senators please! Lets remain calm and rational." Palpatine said trying to calm them down. "I understand why many here wish to have the power of the Titants to end this war but we must remember Earth is a Neutral system therefore we can do nothing. And I agree with Senator Amidala. We have no claim to these creatures. More importantly we want to show these people we do not wish any ill intent. We should be securing a treaty with them not going to war wasting our resources." Palpatine said.
"But these Titans were once the Property of the Old Republic." Burtoni said.
"Exactly. The Old Republic. And they had no right to claim them for their own since again it was a neutral world." Palpatine said. "We don't want to come off to be like the Vile Separatists now do we?" Palpatine asked making many grumble seeing his point on that. "I suggest we send a representative of the Republic to Earth to prove we wish to make amends for the Old Republic and start over. They may even help us in this war." Palpatine said.
"I agree." Organa said.
Meanwhile
Sean was swimming at the lake like before as he swam right next to Godzilla who was currently asleep in the water.
'Figures. Half the time these guys are asleep for days maybe years because they ain't fighting anymore.' Sean thought before dashing up.
Heading back to shore he saw his communicator blinking. Aayla gave this to him to keep in touch. Picking it up he answered it before Aayla appeared.
"Hey Aayla. I don't suppose this is a social call?" Sean said making her smile lightly.
"Tempting but no. The Republic wants to have Earth become part of the Republic again and make amends. Well, most do some are less considerate of the past." Aayla said making him snort.
"Can't say I'm surprised. I'll let my dad know. He'll most likely allow this to test the Republic to see if they have truly changed." Sean said before ending the transmission. "Oh boy." Sean said.
Later
"We cannot allow them back here after what happened last time." An Elder with Metal Clawed fingers said.
"I know everyone here is not as trusting of the Republic as we are the Jedi. But Remember that was thousands of years ago. This is a new Republic. If they were truly the same as before they would send an Armada here to take what they believe is theres." Draco said to his council who agreed.
"Say we allow them back there must be security precautions. No weapons of any kind." A green Twi'lek council member said who had wings on his back.
"I agree." A Rodian council member said who had fish like fins on her back.
"As do I." Draco said.
"And they must also be escorted everywhere at all times to keep a close eye on them. We don't want them taking our secrets for themselves." A Human female said who had black scale skin.
"I agree to that as well. I believe this court is adjourned." Draco said as everyone left.
Sean waited patently outside before his father walked out.
"Well?" Sean asked.
"Tell your friend the Republic may come back but they will have to come unarmed." Draco said.
"Does that include them?" Sean asked.
"Yes, I sense some Jedi will show their true colors and try to attack. This will show that the Order still needs to change for the better." Draco said.
"Yup." Sean said.
Later
"So they agreed to let us come?" Palpatine asked Aayla.
"Yes but they have conditions. The number one is we can't bring any weapons no exceptions." Aayla said.
"We can't possibly agree to this." Mas said.
"It's the only way they'll let us come back to talk." Mace said.
"We need to show them that we wish to make amends. And if possible build a base there to send out supplies to the nearby systems." Palpatine said.
"I think we should consider who to bring to avoid and issues." Mundi said.
"I agree. I shall personally hand pick the senators represent us." Palpatine said as the Jedi left missing the evil grin on his face.
Meanwhile
"The titans? They haven't been seen in over four thousand years." Dooku said to his Master.
"Recently the Jedi have rediscovered the Earth and the Titans still live. And even more importantly they have transferred their powers to the ancient Jedi who freed them and they passed it down to their children and so on. This is an opportunity we cannot let go to waste." Sidious said.
"What is you're bidding my master?" Dooku asked.
"I want you to invade the Planet. Convince the children of the Titans to join the Republic." Sidious said.
"Thats not easy. Earth is a neutral system therefor we cannot attack." Dooku said.
"You can if the Republic is there. As it happens a handful of powerful Senators and the Chancellor will be there. Your Senate cannot resist attacking." Sidious said.
"I see. Very well my Lord. I order my army to attack." Dooku said.
"Excellent." Sidious said cackling.
Later
A republic light cruiser exited Hyper space before Earth was seen in front of it.
"My, my. Such a beautiful planet." Palpatine said.
"Indeed. The Titans are unique. Each one represents an essential need for balance and survival." Mace said.
"I am very curious to see these creatures. And hopeful that the people will forgive the past and focus on the future." Palpatine said.
They arrived at a large landing pad where Draco and his sons were at before they landed and got off.
"Ah King Draco. It a pleasure to meet you." Palpatine said shaking his hand.
"Likewise chancellor. Allow me to introduce my oldest. David and Sean. Both are considered to be the strongest amongst our people in their generation." Draco said.
"Pleasure." Sean said politely.
"Now we can discuss future business inside the palace." Draco said leading them inside with his Most Elite warriors.
"Nice to see you again." Sean said to Aayla who smiled.
"Likewise. I take it not all were exactly pleased by this proposal." Aayla said.
"Ah. My dad was taught us to forget the past and focus on the future as was his and so on. The others simply wish to focus on the Future of Earth and not the rest of the galaxy after what happened. Can't say I blame them though." Sean said.
"Nor can I or most of the order." Aayla said before a small explosion occured outside the city making them look before seeing a large Reptilian creature coming out of the ground that had spikes on its back like Godzilla but had two on the shoulders.
"Zilla. Related to Godzilla but not as big. These guys lay in the ground for days or years. Been that way ever since they came back." Sean said.
"I can imagine. With no more fighting they have no reason to move around as much and considering this planet hasn't been attacked since the days of the old Republic." Aayla said.
"We got some time to kill before the meeting actually begins. Let me show you around." Sean said making her smile before they walked off.
Meanwhile
"The planet Earth? Forgive me, master, but I've never heard of this planet." Ventress said to Dooku.
"No, you wouldn't. It hasn't been brought up since the days of the old Republic. The planet holds the most powerful creatures in the Galaxy. The Titans who's power dwarfs the Jedi and Sith combined. Not only that but they also have the power to change a planet like Tatooine into a lush green world by mere presence alone. They were at once point under the control of the Jedi but they got drunk on their power." Dooku said.
"And clearly rebelled against them." Ventress said.
"No, Over a thousand Jedi knights freed the Titans from their Jedi Comrades and brought them back to their home world known as Earth and erased all information on the location of said planet. It was never seen again...Until now." Dooku said.
"So you wish for the Separatists to capture them and use them against the Jedi." Ventress said smirking at the idea.
"Exactly. And the Republic will be there to convince them to sign a treaty to join the Republic. You will kill all of them. However be warned. The descendants of the Jedi who freed these Titans have been given their power for their actions. Do not take them lightly." Dooku said.
"I will insure they either join us and take these Titans or they die." Ventress said.
Meanwhile
"I understand the Republic wishes for us to Join the Republic as a step of making amends of the actions of the old Republic. However many of my advisors are skeptical that the Republic has changed for the better. You can understand why for obvious reasons." Draco said.
"I understand but your sons also said that focusing on the future instead of the past is a step in the right direction." Palpatine said making him chuckle.
"I taught them that. And I believe in those words. But I also know the Republic is currently at war with the Separatists who were once part of the Republic. Allying with the Republic would make my world a target in their eyes." Draco said.
"We wouldn't drag Earth into the war. We would only wish to set up a bas to store supplies for outposts and worlds that need them." Padme said.
"Ah. Noble. Setting up a base for that reason would sway a few of my advisors to let the Republic set up a base here." Draco said.
"Why do we need their approval when this world rightfully belongs to us!" Burtoni yelled.
"Senator please." Palpatine said.
"Excuse me?" Draco said glaring at her with cold eyes making her gulp. "It would seem the Republic hasn't changed by much." Draco said.
"I apologize for the Senator's outburst. She tends to speak before thinking." Palpatine said frowning at her.
"Then I suggest removing her from this meeting unless you want some sort of incident." Draco said.
"I agree." Sean said glaring at her.
"Who do you think you...HEY!" Burtoni yelled as security grabbed.
"Lets go!"
"You cannot do this! I am a high ranking Senator of the Republic! You are freaks!" Burtoni yelled as she was dragged out.
"Her people have only recently become part of the Republic and she was the best they could send." Palpatine said.
"Clearly no manners. Now on this base." Draco said before an alert came up.
"Whats that?" Padme asked before a hologram of the planet appeared seeing several Separatist cruisers.
"Oh my." Palpatine said before the image of Ventress appeared.
"Greetings people of Earth. I have come to offer you a place in the Separatist alliance. And all you have to do to earn it is surrender the Titans so they may destroy the Republic and any threat to the Separatist alliance." Ventress said arrogantly.
"You Sith haven't changed at all. Still mad for power. Wanting to claim that of which is not yours. We will not be joining you now or ever. I suggest you leave while you still have your life." Draco said.
"I was hoping you would say no. Now I can kill all of you." Ventress said ending her transmission.
"We must send for Republic forces." Mundi said.
"That will no be necessary." Draco said.

A large portion of Droids with Tanks were outside the city.
"I want you all to kill every one here. No survivors." Ventress said in Hologram form.
"Yes, Mistress." A droid said before the ground began to shake.
"WHOA! Whats going on?" Another Droid asked before a large tail came out the ground before what looked like a large Komodo appeared and hissed at them.
"Oh my god!" A droid yelled as the Titan Known as Komodo roared at them before unleashing a stream of blue atomic breath at them making them scream as they Melted.
"WHAT!" Ventress yelled in shock. She was expecting the Titants to be a little Bigger than Rancors not this size.
"You didn't seriously think you could just come here and conquer this planet with mere droids did you?" Draco asked as Zilla arrived before roaring before his back started to glow before unleashing green atomic breath at one cruiser making it blow up before crashing down.
Ventress roared.
"FIRE EVERYTHING AT THIS MONSTERS! NOW!" Ventress roared before every cruiser she had fired on them leaving nothing but dust in the way making her smirk thinking she'd won but widened her eyes in shock seeing the two didn't even have a scratch on them. "Thats not...Possible. No creature could survive such power." Ventress said.
"Now you see why the Jedi of old used them. And why they will never be weapons again." Draco said as Godzilla arrived before unleashing atomic breath at another Capitol ship making it blow up completely.
"Retreat!" Ventress yelled as what was left of her fleet fell back before two more blew up leaving only her cruiser left before leaving.

After the battle was over Draco was meeting the Chancellor.
"I'm afraid I am going to have to reject this proposal after that unprovoked attack." Draco said.
"Please Draco reconsider. The Separatist know about the Titans now. They won't stop until they get what they want." Palpatine said.
"Perhaps. But I'm confident Godzilla and the Other Titans will keep us safe. However I will not endanger my people by getting drawn into this war. And More importantly it's clear the Republic has not changed. Your Senator lashed out at several of my people and threatened them and their children. I am sorry...But Earth will remain neutral." Draco said.
"But Dad." Sean tried to say but he held up a hand to stop him making him sigh.
"I'm truly sorry to hear that. Still we will respect your wishes." Palpatine said as they left to head back to their cruiser.
Everyone was back at the light cruiser.
"It's a shame things didn't work out." Aayla said.
"Yeah. My dad has good intentions but...I think things could have worked out if he tried harder." Sean said.
"I hope to see you again soon." Aayla said as she got on board before they took off.
"I'm sorry son." Draco said approaching him placing a hand on his shoulder. "But when you're a leader you'll understand the needs of your people come first. And make sure you have trustworthy allies."
"Yeah. Still I wonder how the Separatists knew about Earth?" Sean said.
"Most likely they have a spy or traitor in their midst. It's their problem now." Draco said.
Meanwhile
"The plan failed?" Dooku asked his Master.
"Regretfully the King will not join the Republic since Senator Burtoni lashed out at several people. She will be dealt with. In the meantime we must find another way for Earth to join the Republic." Sidious said.
"What about a Threat to the Galaxy that even they couldn't ignore?" Dooku said.
"Go on." Sidious said.
"As it happens one of my key scientists have...Had a breakthrough in creating monsters that while not as powerful as the Titans...Could still pose a dire threat to the galaxy." Dooku said.
"And you believe these creatures could...Force the People of Earth to Send the Titans to protect the Galaxy and join the Republic?" Sidious asked.
"I believe so...My scientist calls them...Kaiju." Dooku said. (Oh like no one saw this coming. Titans and Kaiju should always fight)
"Very well. You may proceed. But first send them to a less valuable planet as a test. I want to see how effective they are against Republic troops." Sidious said.
"As you wish my master." Dooku said.
Authors Note: Oh Burtoni you dumb bitch. Then again I think we can all agree she would do something this stupid. And Ventress being the ever useless idiot assassin we know and hate failed once more not surprising.
