Chapter 3 A desperate plea for help
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE COST US!" A senator roared as Burtoni as she was being yelled and glared at by her fellow senators.
"I said what was true. These Titans are our property." Burtoni said.
"You sound like a slave trader!" Another Senator yelled.
"I say we offer Burtoni as a sacrifice to the people of Earth as an offer of peace." Another Senator yelled making her eyes widen in shock.
"Senators please. Let's remain civilized." Palpatine said trying to calm them down. "I understand Senator Burtoni spoke out of line but we must remain calm. King Draco was more concerned about his people being dragged into the war. He cares deeply about them." Palpatine said.
"But his people could help us end this war much sooner." A senator said.
"And she botched a one time deal to have them to join us!" Another senator yelled.
"We don't need their approval at all. I say we simply invade the planet and enslave them and reclaim our property." Burtoni said getting everyone to yell at her in rage.
"You are just like Dooku and his Separatists!" A senator yelled.
"We cannot allow her to remain in office Chancellor! She must be punished." A female Senator yelled.
"Excuse me?" Burtoni asked in shock.
"I'm afraid I must agree." Palpatine said shocking her. "Burtoni your actions have cost us greatly in a great alliance that could have benefited the Republic. I'm afraid I must ask the Prime Minster to send another to represent your people." Palpatine said.
"YOU CANNOT DO THIS!" Burtoni yelled before Senate commandos escorted her out as she screamed in rage.
"Now...While I know this a great blow to us in securing an alliance with the People of Earth. We must respect Draco's wishes. In time he may reconsider and aid us in our time of need." Palpatine said.
Later
Aayla had a thoughtful look on her face.
"You seem troubled." Mace said walking to her.
"I was thinking about our code. Sean said it holds us back from truly making a difference. In a way I'm starting to agree." Aayla said.
"This code is here for a reason." Mace said.
"Is it? Do we not care about whats happens to the galaxy. Our fellow Jedi and the clones under our command?" Aayla asked making him frown since she had a point.
Truthfully the Jedi were not devoid of emotion. Not even close but they did believe in the code.
"I asked him what made him so strong. He told me that he and his people all cared for one another and gave them strength. His ancestors also threw out the code before they did what the did because they didn't believe in it. Those that did believe were consumed by power and did what they did to the Titans." Aayla said.
"Thats...True I suppose. However we learned from those mistakes." Mace said.
"I don't believe we truly have. It was because of their actions that the Titans were set free and gave them powers beyond anyone's imagination. They earned their gifts because they disagreed with the code. Maybe perhaps we should consider where we truly stand with the code itself." Aayla said making him frown in thought not denying any of her points.
Meanwhile
Sean was swimming with Godzilla to clear his head about what had happened.
In his mind he couldn't understand the true reasons why his father rejected joining the Republic. True there was still bad blood between them and the Titans for happened so many years ago. But he was taught to always focus on the future and not dwell on the past and give people a second chance.
Suddenly a blast of lightning nearly struck him making him growl before dashing up seeing his brother.
"The hell was that for?" Sean asked making him smirk.
"I figured you would be here. You always come here to clear your head." David said.
"Ah Just thinking. I can't help but wonder why Dad really didn't agree to join the Republic." Sean said.
"Oh please this has nothing to do with the Republic. You just wanted to spend more time with Aayla." David said making him smirk.
"Well...That part is true but I really do wonder why he said no." Sean said before Godzilla rose out of the water.
"Ah you know how he works. He thinks more about the people and the Titans here than anywhere else." David said before a blast of fire nearly hit them.
"YIKES!" Sean yelled dodging it before they heard giggling making them growl before pulling up a tree seeing two little girls about 9 years old laughing. One had blonde hair white skin and green eyes the other had Raven hair white skin and blue eyes.
"Sarah, Dawn! Thats not funny anymore." David said.
"Sure it is. Because your target practice." Dawn said blasting them with fire before it hit a tree. "Whoops." Dawn said before Godzilla splashed it with Water.
Sean growled at Dawn who looked sheepish before they both yelped as they grabbed them.
"Lets go." Sean said taking them away.
Later
A small clone outpost in the outer Rim was led by Jedi Master Koth.
"Too bad we couldn't get those Titans on our side sir." A clone said.
"It is unfortunate. However I cannot blame them for rejecting to join the Republic. King Draco clearly cares deeply for his people and wishes to protect the Titans from Harm." Koth said.
"What exactly happened during the days of the old Republic?" Another clone asked.
"After the Jedi had discovered the Titans they noticed immediately what they could do. However soon we became power hungry and mistreated the Titans in ways that made us no better than the Sith." Koth said.
"Oh so thats why the people of Earth hate the Jedi." A clone said.
"It's one of the greatest shames the order has brought upon itself. We were hoping if they joined we could make amends for our actions. But King Draco does not want to join out of concern his people will be dragged into the war." Koth said before an alert came up.
"What is it?" A clone asked.
"We got a meteor shower heading right towards us."
Above the planet a large number of Meteors flew down to the planet before crashing down outside the base.
"Hmm. Something feels wrong. Send a recon party out there and investigate those meteors." Koth said.
"Right away sir." A clone said rushing off.
Soon a small group of clones were right by the remains of the meteors.
"Wait...Something ain't right. These Meteors seem..Artificial." A clone said before a deep rumbling was heard.
"What was that?" Another clone asked before the meteor started to shake before a large monstrous hand came out and squashed a few clones.
"WHAT IS THAT THING!" A clone yelled before a monster came out and roared at them.
From a distance Koth saw all this in shock.
"What is that?" Koth asked before the clones were wiped out as it made its way towards the base.
"Fire everything we have on that thing!" An ARC trooper yelled before every tank fired everything at the Monster who didn't even seem remotely hurt before crushing the tank.
"General! That thing is gonna tear this place apart! We have to retreat!"
"I agree. Gather everyone to the cruiser!" Koth yelled before they ran off.
The Monster roared loudly as it tore the base to shreds just as the remaining republic forces pulled out to a cruiser.
"What was that thing?" A clone asked.
"If I had to guess the Separatists are behind this." Koth said.
Later
After reporting to the senate about what happened it sent them into a panic.
"The People of Earth have turned on us!" A senator yelled.
"No I don't believe so. I've seen the files on the Titans and not one matches that description. This is something new." Organa said.
"But Earth is the only planet in the galaxy with creatures of that size." Another senator said.
"Perhaps they may know about what we're dealing with. They said they wouldn't join the Republic but they may at least know what we're dealing with." Palpatine said.
Later
Sean was in the city with his sisters.
"Why do you two always cause so much trouble?" Sean asked making them laugh.
"I thought little sisters were supposed to annoy their big brothers." Sarah said making him roll his eyes.
"Very funny." Sean said before a guard approached him. "Is something wrong?" Sean asked.
"Your father has summoned you to the palace. A Jedi has come with some disturbing news."
"Ok." Sean said as they left.
Entering the palace Sean was pleased to see Aayla again.
"Hey Aayla." Sean said making her smile.
"It's good to see you again." Aayla said.
"Is this the girl you like?" Dawn teased making him growl before kicking her into the wall as she laughed not even phased by that.
"Dumb brat!" Sean yelled making Aayla giggle.
"Enough." Draco said gaining their attention. "You said you had some disturbing news."
"Yes...A couple days ago a Republic outpost was attacked. By this." Aayla said showing the hologram of the monster that attacked them making him and the council narrow their eyes.
"I've never seen this creature before. What exactly happened?" Draco asked.
"After a meteor shower this thing emerged from one of the meteors and attacked our forces. The Senate wants to know if this is a Titan." Aayla said.
"We can most assuredly tell you this is not a Titan. All of them were brought back to Earth. Not a single one was abandoned." A council member said.
"Then what is this exactly?" Aayla asked.
"If I had to guess the Sith are behind this. Wouldn't be the first time they've made monsters." Draco said.
"Perhaps but why? Why now?" Aayla asked.
"Anything to gain an edge I suppose." Draco said.
Soon enough Sean was escorting Aayla back to her ship.
"If the Separatists are really making monsters the Republic is trouble." Aayla said.
"I really wish we could help but my dad has made up his mind. Staying neutral from the war is his choice." Sean said.
"I know. But maybe that will change soon enough. I hope to see you again soon." Aayla said getting in her ship before flying off.
Sean could only sigh thinking things were only gonna get worse for the Republic and the Jedi.
A week later
What Sean predicted had come to pass. Wherever these Monsters these Kaiju appeared the Republic's losses were high. Even the Jedi couldn't fight these creatures as the blood was very toxic to anything the size of a man when exposed to air from the outside.
The Republic was begging the people of Earth to help them with the Titans but like before Draco refused not wanting to drag his people into a war that had nothing to do with them.
However the younger generation wanted to help the Jedi but couldn't due to the orders of the high council.
"We can't just sit by and do nothing anymore. There are millions of people suffering because of these things." Sean said to the council.
"We understand how you feel. Many of us wish to help the Galaxy but this war has nothing to do with us." A council member said.
"But it should. I understand some here still have issues with the Jedi and the Republic for what happened but that was thousands of years ago. If they were truly the same they would have invaded and tried to take them by force." Sean said.
"What you say in indeed true. However a wise king most do what is best for his people." Draco said.
"Than you're no king at all." Sean said shocking him and the council. "You also said a wise king helps those in desperate need of help." Sean said making him frown.
"Outside...Now." Draco said making him sigh before they walked outside to the balcony.
"Look I..." Sean tried to say.
"I know what you're gonna say. I understand you want to help so do I. But how can we be sure history won't repeat itself?" Draco asked.
"We don't. But helping them is the right thing to do. Even the Titans can sense the suffering across the galaxy. We can't sit by and do nothing. We have a chance to help the Republic and the Jedi and forge a new future together. The Titans could bring out a new age of peace that hasn't been seen in forever." Sean said making him frown in thought.
Meanwhile
Across the galaxy the Republic was fighting against the Kaiju and was losing at every turn.
currently right now Anakin, Aayla and Kenobi were on the Desert planet Jakku.
"This isn't going well." Anakin said as Kaiju roared at the Clone army before slamming its foot down creating a shockwave that forced the clones back.
"We have to pull back. This battle is lost." Kenobi said before one Kaiju was right on top of them.
"Anyone got a plan?" Rex asked as it was about to smash them before a stream of atomic breath hit it forcing it back.
(Insert Battle In Boston from Godzilla King of the Monsters)
"Um...What was?" Cody asked before the ground started to shake.
"What the hell is going on?" Bly asked.
Suddenly a powerful but all too familiar roar was heard shocking the Jedi before turning around.
Behind them was Godzilla who walked towards the Kaiju before roaring loudly into the air as Gunships flew past him.
"Need a hand?" Sean asked on the comms.
"Sean?" Aayla asked surprised before seeing on on Gozilla's left shoulder.
"Here comes the Calvary." Sean said as the clones cheered as Godzilla neared the Kaiju who roared before charging at Godzilla who charged right back at them before swinging his tail at two of them forcing them back.
On Rhen Var
Mace and his troops were pinned down by the Kaiju before a storm of lightning was seen followed by a powerful roar.
Turning around they saw a golden three headed dragon who blasted the Kaiju with yellow lightning forcing them back.
"YO!" David yelled jumping down to them.
"I see you decided to help." Mace said with a smile.
"Thank my little brother. He convinced the old man to send the Titans to help." David said before the dragon blasted the droid army back. "That would be King Ghidorah. The second most powerful Titan to ever exist." David said.
On Dantoine
Mundi and his forces witnessed as a large Titan with a horn on the head breathed a purple mist at the Kaiju melting their skin and blood leaving nothing but Bone.
"Forward!" Mundi yelled as his men charged forward.
Back on Jakku
Godzilla roared loudly at the remaining Kaiju before breathing atomic breath at them killing them quickly before roaring into the air in victory.
"Absolutely incredibly." Anakin said seeing the battle was now theirs.
Later
After the battles were over the Republic was meeting with the people of Earth.
"The Republic cannot thank you enough for what you have done. But what changed your mind?" Palpatine asked Draco.
"My son convinced me to give the Republic and the Jedi a second chance and help the Galaxy." Draco said.
Sean however was outside the senate room.
"I might be regretting this decision to help because of the politics." Sean said making Anakin chuckle.
"Not a big fan of them?" Anakin asked.
"Theres rarely any Politics back home since in our view they slowed things down." Sean said.
"Can't argue with that." Anakin said.
"YOU!" Burtoni yelled gaining their attention as she aimed a blasted at Sean. "This is all your fault! You cost me my position as a senator!" Burtoni yelled.
"Burtoni you need to drop it now!" Anakin said grabbing his lightsaber.
"Go ahead it ain't gonna do anything but piss me off." Sean said making her growl.
Inside
"Now I believe..." Palpatine tried to say before they heard blaster fire. "Hmm?" Palpatine said before Burtoni was thrown in making her grunt in pain before Sean walked in with Blaster marks on his chest and forehead looking pissed off.
"I told you that wouldn't do anything but piss me off." Sean said grabbing her by the neck.
"AGAIN! Are you trying to prevent an alliance with Earth?" A senator asked in disbelief.
"Oh she won't be causing any more problems for you guys." Sean said before his back started to glow before his mouth did making her scream in fear before atomic breath came out of his mouth burning her face off before it stopped seeing she was dead.
"Oh my." Palpatine said surprised.
"That felt good." Sean said dropping her dead body.
"Now then. While Earth will be joining the Republic to fight against these Titans..." Draco tried to say.
"That reminds me how did you send them everywhere at once so quickly?" A senator asked getting everyone to think the same.
"Our civilization had advanced beyond hyper Space lanes. We use portals for instant travel Hence why the Titans arrived so quickly. Now as I was saying. We will aid the Republic by sending a small few of our best to join the grand army of the Republic. You don't really need our army at the moment." Draco said.
A new age has begun.
The age of the Titans.
