Let's go everyone, we're at chapter 25! I'm so happy to see more people favoriting and following the fanfic recently. The beginning was a bit of a drag I know but I have bigs plans for future chapters that I know you'll all like. Enjoy the read and thank you all.

Chapter 25: Trespassing Sound Bites

Izuku awoke to the sound of his All Might alarm clock going off. He looks out the window to see the dark sky with slightly grey clouds. His body is feeling better now that he's gotten a good night's rest from being healed by Recovery Girl. Getting out of bed he does his usual stretches and then checks his phone for the daily hero news. His eyes widen at seeing the multiple text messages from Kyoka. He completely forgot to tell her when he was discharged from the infirmary.

'I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL NIGHT TO HEAR IF YOU'RE OK!!!'

The text message from the rocker girl reads, making the boy wince in shame. He sends a text back apologizing for not letting her know he went home. After putting his phone down he gets changed into his school uniform and goes into the kitchen. For breakfast he prepares a fried egg on top of toast with a glass of orange juice. His mother enters the kitchen while he is eating and he points towards a plate covered in foil. She smiles while saying her thanks then makes coffee.

Ever since the day that she told him the truth about his father and the demon slayers she's been hesitant to talk about U.A or heroes in general. He can hear the stress in her breathing whenever she sees him watching the hero news or going/coming back from training. These days it feels like they haven't talked that much at all due to the incident. He finishes eating and washes his plate before giving his mom a hug. Another beep from his phone tells him that a text, most likey Kyoka, is sent to him. Checking the message he leaves the apartment and heads to the train station.

'She's surprisingly feisty this early in the morning, but I can't blame her.'

The city of Musutafu is slowly waking up with shop owners opening up for business and some people either exercising or heading to work. Izuku continues his walk getting lost in thought about what today's lessons will be like. So far U.A has been a really good and interesting experience. Today is also the day that he and Aizawa will have his sword training to see if he's fit to wield his swords. The train station comes into view so he picks up the paste hoping to apologize to Kyoka in person.

He takes a seat at the station and takes out his hearphones to listen to music. After looking through his playlist he selects a song called Reptilia by The Strokes and nods along to the song. A few minutes later he feels the earphones being ripped away from him by the purple haired girl. She looking at him with a mixture of annoyance and slight anger with a hint of worry. He shrinks down on himself and puts his hands up in surrender. She uses her jacks to jab his sides and send an uncomfortable vibration through him.

"I thought I told you to let me know when you got out of the infirmary."

She says with clear annoyance in her voice. She keeps her jacks in his side for a moment longer then releases him. He is clutching his sides in slight pain while trying to talk. The girl sits next to him and lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"I... I'm sorry. After I woke up from being healed by Recovery Girl school was over. Her quirk takes the energy from a person to be able to fix their wounds. All I could think about was going to sleep once I got out of the bed."

She takes a moment to think about what he said and accepts the apology. He let's out a sigh of relief and straightens up after her attack. A moment goes by and Kyoka shyly looks the other way from Izuku while unconsciously twirling one of her jacks around her finger.

"Just make sure to text me back next time so I don't have to worry."

She says in a almost whispers like tone but Izuku hears her clear as day. His face heats up a bit at seeing her look so shy and nervous around him. Before the moment can get any more awkward the train arrives making them thank the heavens. They board the train and take their seats next to the door. Both of them try to think of something to change the subject but nothing is said. The train ride goes by in a semi comfortable silence with them looking out the window.

Once the train arrives to their station they both exit and walk towards the school. They pick up a conversation about which heroes they like the most and Izuku tries his best to not go into full fanboy mode. When the school comes into view they both stare speechless at how many news reporters and journalists are standing outside of the U.A gate. A couple of the hero teachers like Hound Dog and Eraser Head are standing in front of the gate making sure the students make it into the building without hassle from the media. Izuku is approached by a female reporter with a man pointing a camera right at him.

"Exuse me young man, is it true that The Symbol of Peace, All Might is teaching at U.A this year?!"

The boy looks at the reporter then sees Eraser Head behind her making the 'zip it' motion. When he doesn't answer the reporter turns to Kyoka with a look that is basically asking the same question. To Izuku's and eveyone else's surprise Kyoka uses her jacks to plug into the camera and cause it to overheat with the vibrations from her heart. Before the reporter can get angry at the girl Aizawa ushers her and Izuku through the gate as he and Hound Dog also enter. Once they are past the gate Izuku and Kyoka head to homeroom not wanting to waste anymore time.

All the reporters see that the gate is still open and try to barge in. As soon as they get close to the gate a large metal wall rises from the ground and blocks the entrance. All the people of the media begin to argue at not getting the chance to get confirmation of All Might as a teacher. In the crowd a young man is staring at the heavily armored gate in interest. His face is hidden by a black hood but if someone were to look closely they could see red angry eyes.

-Class 1A Homeroom-

Izuku sits at his desk while looking out the window. He can still see the reporters standing outside the gate from the class. A red haired student named Kirishima is talking about how unmanly they are being by trying to corner students for a story. Aizawa enters the class with his usual annoyed expression making the red head shut his mouth immediately. The man clears his throat to get everyone's attention before speaking.

"You all need to work on getting quiet faster. Now as everyone knows the press has been more bothersome than usual this morning. I advise that you ignore them as much as possible and report anything if the harassment keeps happening."

The man says in a serious tone, making the students feel better. He lets out a loud yawn that makes some of the students sweat drop. Walking to the front of his desk he looks at all of the students and takes a sheet of paper from the desk.

"Also, today you'll all be doing one of the most important things of your hero school career."

Hearing that, Izuku can sense the mixed feelings coming from the class. The students varied from looking interested to looking worried. He himself is interested in what's in store for them and he can see that Kyoka is showing signs of both interest and worry. Aizawa can't help but grin slightly at seeing the worried students.

"It's time to choose your class representatives."

The teacher says while his grin gets bigger.

"THAT'S SO NORMAL!"

Was shouted by the majority of the class making Izuku almost chuckle. After the shout some of the students spoke up about why they should be class rep. The amount of talking and yelling made the boy's head foggy for a moment. He's still not used to being around kids his age after graduating from the Jasmine Dragon and training with Kyojuro. While some of the students are still voicing their reason for being class rep Iida stands up and gets everyone's attention.

"Listen everyone! We should be fair about this and put it to a vote. That way we know got the most votes is best suited and trusted!"

Aizawa picks up his sleeping bag from behind his desk and pulls out a juice pack. In a

The boy with glasses suggests while making chopping motions with his arms. The class thinks about it for a moment, thinking that it could work. The girl with the frog like appearance raises her hand and everyone looks at her.

"But we've only known each other for a couple days."

The class nods at that statement but none the less they agree to vote. Yaoyorozu uses her quirk to create a box and everyone writes down their vote on a piece of paper. After all the votes are put into the box, Iida counts them out. The class waits in anticipation to see who will be their class president and vice president. The results surprise Izuku making him drop his pencil.

Are the top students with more than one vote. Katsuki growls loudly at seeing the greenette get more votes than himself. Everyone looks at Izuku and Iida with calculating eyes. To most of them it clicked that a powerhouse such as Izuku and an extremely formal guy such as Iida were the ones picked the most. Izuku appreciates the votes that he got but thinks that the position will get in the way of his training. He raises his hand and looks at Iida in recognition.

"I really appreciate the amount of votes I got but I'm not really interested in the position of class president."

Some of the students look at him either with wide eyes or hanging mouths. Iida especially has a shocked expression at hearing him say that. Even Katsuki looks surprised at what he said.

"But being class president is such an honor and offers many opportunities."

Iida says to him while making the same chopping motions as before. Izuku is confused as to why he does that but doesn't question it. He takes a moment to think and then smiles at him widely.

"Why don't you take my position instead then? You sound like you really want to do it too."

Izuku says while shrugging at the blue haired boy. Iida again widens his eyes in shock at what Izuku said as well as Yaoyorozu. She knows that Iida taking Izuku's position will make her the vice president of the class. Everyone looks at the boy with glasses and can see that he will make a perfect fit for the job. He smiles back at Izuku and bows respectfully.

"thank you very much Midoriya. I will make sure to live up to your expectations. I will do my duties to the best of my ability."

Izuku pats Iida's shoulder in a friendly manner still smiling. He looke at Yaoyorozu and gives her a friendly nod to which she returns. She walks up to him and also bows to his surprise.

The greenette gives a mock salute to the two and sits back down. The pair stand in front of the class with determined faces. Izuku thinks to himself that it's funny the 'classier' students will be looking after their class. He nods to himself knowing that they are in good hands. Aizawa nods at the chosen students and writes down the information. The bell rings signaling the preparation of first period making some of the students like Kaminari and Ashido groan.

-UA Cafeteria-

Izuku sat at a table with Kyoka, Iida, and Ochako with their lunches. The food from the school is specially made by the cook hero Lunch Rush. When the greenette took his first bite he nearly cried at how good it was. The topic of discussion is mainly about the classes and getting to know one another.

"I know we all saw what we could do during the physical test but what are your guys quirks if I may ask?"

Ochako says after swallowing a bite of her rice and fish. Everyone looked at her in interest as they are also curious. Iida perks up and raises his hand a bit to get their attention.

"As class President I will start with my quirk. It's called engine and it allows me to travel at faster speeds. The engines in my calves are what make the speed happen but when used too much stall out."

He says while doing the robotic arm chops like before. Izuku and the other two students are doing their best not to laugh at the motion and the serious expression on his face. He is already writing down the information in a notebook making the others wonder where he got it from. Kyoka raises her jacks and taps the boy on his shoulder to get his and the other's attention.

"My quirk is called earphone jack. As you can clearly see my ears have jacks on them that can extend pretty far. I can use them to plug into different devices and listen to them. They also allow me to hear a lot better than normal."

Izuku and Iida are clearly fascinated by her quirk based off the look on their faces. He is already thinking of different ways her quirk can be used for rescue missions. Ochako sees the look on his face and raises her hand quickly.

"My quirk is zero gravity. It's pretty self explanatory. I can remove the gravity from something by touching it with my finger tips. But too much weight will make me nauseous."

Before anyone can say anything an alarm with a flashing red light goes off. The older students look around in shock while the new students are looking around confused. It doesn't take long for the cafeteria to erupt in panic.

"Someone got past the security gate! How is that possible?!"

Shouts an older student making the others panic even more. Izuku and the others are surprised at what they say and try to locate the rest of their classmates. Iida looks out the window and notices that the courtyard is full of reporters and cameraman. The blue haired boy gets the attention of the other students at the table.

"It's only the press that got onto the courtyard! There isn't any real danger!"

He shouts at the others who can still barely hear him from the ruckus of the other students. Kyoka is covering her ears as the loud noise is hurting her jacks. Izuku looks out the window and wonders how they managed to get past the large security gate. He then looks back at whats happening in the cafeteria. All the students are running towards the exit pushing and shoving one another.

"If we don't do something some students might get hurt during the panic!"

Izuku shouts to the others making them nod in agreement. They try to get the attention of the other students but to no avail. The greenette tries to think of a plan to calm everyone down. His eyes light up when an idea pops into gis head. He places his hands on Iida and Ochako's shoulders to get their attention. They both look at him with worry in their eyes.

"I have a crazy plan but I need you both to trust me."
