Greetings. Tristraim here. I did warn you all my update shedule is probably going to be the worst.
First of all, thank you so much for your reviews and the, honestly, unexpected interest in my story. There wasn't a lot of fanfics between Gundam and Mass Effect, and growing up, SEED was near and dear to my heart. Having read a few Gundam SEED stories, and met equally passionate fans and writers as well didn't help things, and I got hooked eventually to make one of my own. Having it cross over with Mass Effect was the logical choice, because Mass Effect is also something near and dear to me too, and admittedtly its one of the few Gundam settings that I can say can put up both a fair fight against Mass Effect, and benefit from their tech the most. Other AUs and UC would vary between curbstomp on one side, or the other, even if there might be some cool interactions there.
However, as of the moment, with the impending release of Gundam SEED Freedom, as well as my real-life situation (upgraded from a resident to a fellow, but with even less time than before), there's a possibility I may have to either redo the first few chapters, or gut open the story and start from scratch. Gundam SEED Eclipse was also a sore spot for me as well at first, but given that this story takes place after GSD, it didn't put a crimp on the story as much. And yes, some characters from SEED Eclipse may be seen in the future, but I haven't actually read the story fully.
Chapter 3, however, is already in the works, and just needs a bit of polish before I publish it ;) all in all, thank you so much for your patience, and I hope I can have enough time to continue the story.
Edit: Small, teensy update. I've edited both the prologue and chapter 1, to take into account Gundam SEED Freedom's changes. They're now canon now, and will be important to the story as it progresses. Be on the watch for more editions to chapter 2, and hopefully chapter 3.
